"This summer pop-up in Soho has got more flavours of ice cream than sunny days there are to eat them. But with flavours like mango sticky rice, dirty horchata, and kalamansi gochujang sorbet, we’re going to do our best to get through them. We checked out Araw and added it to the Hit List. "We can hand on heart say we have not tasted ice creams like the ones at Araw in Soho. The incredible flavour combinations deliver on what they promise, like the mango sticky rice with chewy, coconutty grains of rice. Or a milky earl grey with pieces of crunchy crumble that tastes like dunking a malted milk in tea. Although a couple of flavours are a little too subtle, the majority hit the spot. And the frilly parasol by this picture-perfect pastel hatch on the quiet Soho alleyway just adds to the holiday-feel of the place. The pop-up is around until October, but we hope it stays forever." - heidi lauth beasley, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna, daisy meager
