This Arby's on 8th Avenue in Manhattan is in quite a convenient location for commuters, just less than one block from Port Authority Bus Terminal. Like other Arby's, it carries the same standard menu with typical Manhattan pricing. The food is always good here, my favorite being their Roast Beef and Cheddar. However, this place has its downpoints. Depending on what time of day, the service can be hit or miss; there are staff who can be quite excellent, and then there are staff who are "just there for the check". In almost all my visits here, there is at least either one shady character there either trying to hustle money, or just loiter there, taking up valuable space by hogging up a table and not making the least move to buy or eat anything. The worst part is going out after I've finished my meal and trying to go through the horrendous stench of marijuana and urine outside without losing my meal.
