Arby’s Wants to Feed the People Going to the Area 51 Facebook Event | Eater

"This sandwich chain made a rapid marketing move to set up near the ultra-secure military site in response to the mock Facebook event “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us.” The company announced plans to be in the vicinity early on the morning of September 20 with a “top secret” menu that is presumed to feature its signature beef sandwiches, effectively co-opting the viral joke to offer food to attendees while acknowledging the event is largely tongue-in-cheek." - Tim Forster

Arby’s Mocks Impossible Foods Fake Meat Trend With “Megetables” | Eater

"Known for a meat-centric identity and its slogan "The Meats," this restaurant chain has taken a trolling stance toward plant-based competitors by publicly dismissing collaboration rumors with Impossible Foods and launching a tongue-in-cheek campaign dubbed "megetables" (a term it has reportedly trademarked). The effort — which the chief marketing officer Jim Taylor told Fast Company took three months to devise — centers on a staged product called the "marrot" or "turkey carrot": a slivered, sous-vide turkey breast dusted with dried carrot powder and topped with parsley, demonstrated in an overhead cooking video. Observers have characterized the move as a feeble gag that amounts to making vegetables out of meat rather than offering a genuine meat-alternative, and the item is currently confined to the brand’s test kitchen though it could surface as a limited-time promotion." - Brenna Houck

Arby’s Says It Will Never Serve Impossible Burgers or Other Plant-Based Meat | Eater

"Known for its Big Beef 'n' Cheddar sandwich, the chain publicly insisted it will not add plant-based faux meats to its menu after an inaccurate report suggested a tie-up with Impossible Foods. The company issued a blunt denial—calling any partnership “absolutely impossible”—a move observers say may be meant to court customers who make meat-eating a core part of their identity rather than respond to growing demand for plant-based options." - Tim Forster

How Food Brands Pander to Millennials on Twitter | Eater

"This sandwich chain aggressively courts younger audiences by leaning into gaming and wrestling culture, producing bespoke Mortal Kombat–themed GIFs and stylized junk-food portraits of WWE figures like Becky Lynch and John Cena to cultivate fandom-driven engagement." - Greg Morabito

Google
There was literally nobody else there. Service was quick, the kid taking our order couldn't spell "Joann" but otherwise got our order correct and quickly. The sandwiches were acceptable but the jalapeno bites were great

Came to this location at 8 pm headed to the airport. My food seemed like it was left under a heat lamp for hours. Stale fries, dried out meat, looks like my sandwich was made hours before. Very disappointed in the quality of the establishment. I travel all over the country and this by far was the first tasting meal. $12 wasted.

Google
Food of poor quality, over priced. Chicken nuggets and fries cooked in old oil and overcooked. Roast beef tasted off.

I ordered a hamburger from Arby's which is deep fried and it was pink when I bit into it.

Me my partner and my 2 year old son went in yesterday to get some food before we went grocery shopping. Upon arrival the staff was rude distant and completely careless. I've worked in food service for almost 5 years and never in my life have I ever been that rude to customers no matter what day I'm having. To top it all off with a messed up bow we all got FOOD POISONING. And when the store was contacted in regards to this I was told " well nobody else has said anything about this". Absolutely unprofessional and disgusting. Now I know why there was literally 2 people in there the entire time we were. Will not be returning until the store shows some humility for their actions.

Last night, I had the pleasure of having Brandy. She was very sweet, service was quick and she followed me out to hold the door open since I had both hands full. Thank you for the consideration!

This Arby’s isn’t terrible, but I believe they should prioritize making their food fresh. They prepare the food and then let it sit out, resulting in it becoming stale. No one wants to consume old products. If you would simply make the products fresh, I think you would attract more customers. My potato cakes were old and undercooked, and my mozzarella sticks were hard and unappetizing.

Google
Used the app to order lunch for my wife and i before a movie date and i used a $5 off coupon. Didnt give me the 5 off so i went inside and asked for a refund. They said they cant that the app is 3rd party and i have to call customer service. Manager on shift didnt know anything at all about how it worked or what the number was. She was very rude and i said she shouldnt be a manager if she doesnt know anything and some cook got in my face telling me ti get out. Yelled at me swore at me and threatened to call the cops while i am trying to wait for this idiot to call her boss and get a phone number for me. Finally got it and almost two weeks later still no refund. No one at the customer service department knows anything when i call in and refuses to let me talk to any upper management. I will never do business with arbys again and that manager and cook should be fired.

Yelp
Initially we were quite frustrated as we waited 15 minutes for our meal and my boyfriend went back to the counter to find out that it wasn't even being made! However the manager on duty took responsibility and handled the situation as best as possible. She was great and apologized repeatedly for the mistake. The manager and team saved the experience. My boyfriend however is still frustrated with the male worker who had a staring contest with him as he waited at the counter to ask about the order LOL Anywho, Arby's will always have a place in my heart because they have the best mozzarella sticks!

Yelp
What they advertise and what you get are worlds apart. This should be against the law. Arby's has become a dog food restaurant. Also the sandwich is gross. I couldn't even finish it.

Yelp
Came last night to try the new brisket and of course I didn't check before I left . ALWAYS double check your food.

Yelp
Ordered Brisket sandwhich (hot not sweet,) No sauce on it at all. Brisket was too dry to even chew. Took two bites and threw it in the trash.

Yelp
Stopped by for dinner at Arby's store #8494 1150 N 147th East Ave Owasso The Roast Beef Sandwiches were pretty good but we ordered a large crinkle cut fry and they were old and cold. They charge3.29 for them and they were awful. Very disappointing! No more sides for us from this restaurant. Get it together and serve the food hot. Geez! SMH

Yelp
I normally try to post the most positive reviews as possible. The same is true with this review of Arby's on 86th st north in Owasso. We went on Thursday around 2:15pm. The first thing We noticed was there were no customers (RED FLAG). We placed our order without any problem. I had the French Dip Swiss sandwich wIth 2 potato cakes. My wife had the Arby's roast beef sandwich and 2 potato cakes. all of the food was cold. I guess their warmer was not working. Next issue was their catchup dispenser did not work, the condiments area needed condiments and was not very clean. Next thing we noticed was several dirty tables with trash and the floor was in bad need of cleaning. The only good thing we found that did warrant star was the restrooms were cleaner than the restaurant

Yelp
The last time I purchased food from this Arbys I swore I would never go there again! The last time was two years ago and I really couldn't believe it could get worse. I tried to refuse this time but a family member wanted to try the new barbequed shoe leather, oops barbequed brisket sandwich. First, everything was so cold I thought maybe we got left overs from the 4th of July. Yes I know they can't do that. The buns were dried out and nearly as hard as hockey pucks. The edges of the meat and cheese actually had dry rings all the way around . Both the sandwiches and ice fries, crinkle cut fries, were so salty. Needless to say, we virtually pitched $35 worth of food into the garbage. It was so bad we wouldn't even let the dog eat it. No if, ands, or buts; I will never.go to this Arby's again! One last thing, I truly believe they intentionally give out food that's about to age out and be disgaurded to.people like me who are going through the drive thru. Absolutely ridiculous and pitiful. They should be ashamed.

Yelp
When you sell the Market Fresh Cranberry Deep Fried Turkey Wrap it would be so great if you put cranberry on it! We bought 2 today and neither one had a drop of cranberry on it! The sandwich was good but cranberry would have been so much better.

Yelp
I usually love Arby's. But today we come through Arby's and the Jamoca shake barely had any whip cream and the chocolate sauce was a tiny pile in the middle. We came back through to get another one to gift to someone and it too has barely any whip cream and the sauce was, yet again the sauce was barely there and no whip cream. This was on Wednesday Aug 10 around 11:40

Yelp
Third time in a row that they got my order wrong. Plain roast beef, large curly fry and Dr Pepper with no ice. I get ice....no big deal. Curly fry was not large (for which I paid), and instead of a regular roast beef I got some soft bread meat rap junk. And this was just the most recent screw up.

Yelp
Worst Arby's ever! Our entire company was going to eat lunch there and one of us is gluten-free. They don't even answer the phone so who knows if they can wrap a sandwich in lettuce instead of that poisonous bun. We went elsewhere.

Yelp
I love Arby's but... I was disappointed this time. Got a drink and the cup was covered with coke... I mean outside. asked to wipe it out. Also had some red strawberry jelly like thing at the edge. WhT's that? The drink ran out so fast so I looked inside the cup and ice was taking 80% in the cup lol OMG

Yelp
My boyfriend and I frequent this Arby's a couple of times a month and today's drive thru service was HORRIBLE. He barely even finished giving half our order to the kid running the drive thru when he was rudely cut off and given the order total. He said he wasn't done ordering but was never answered. We had to finish ordering at the window and the kid gave a pretty insincere and rude apology. Of course he has on no name tag. We've never had problems with our food here for the most part but this isn't the first time we've had rude customer service this was just the worst experience so far as far as that goes. My sandwich was supposed to have no onion and even says no onion on the ticket but it has onion on it. I'm just going to pick it off because we don't want to deal with this rude kid any longer. This may be the last time we visit this Arby's unless they make some staff changes and hire people that can at least pretend to like their job.

Yelp
I went to this Arby's drive thru at around 10:15AM... Opening time, there was only one car in front of me and the wait took a bit, I'm guessing my food had been done for the whole wait because it was cold. I would think it'd be hot but I guess not. I'm from Broken Arrow and I visit the Arby's on 71st & Elm all the time, It never disappoints me. But this one was disappointing, I think they only had one person working there this morning honestly.

Yelp
Constantly bad service and apathy. When you do actually get what you ordered, it's ok at best. Won't bother them with my business again.

Yelp
My sons and I stopped by about 6pm on Thursday to place a to go order in the lobby. We've eaten at Arby's in Owasso maybe 3 times in the last 17 years. It's never been especially clean or staffed by friendly faces. I thought I would give them another chance yesterday, Sept 10th. As soon as I placed the order for my youngest son's chicken sandwich I heard one of the employees behind the prep table speak loudly across the way saying "The Chickens Bad!!!!.....The chickens bad!!!!!" That is something you don't want to hear. I know the handful of customers in the lobby had to have heard him. He was saying it loud so the guys at the drive through could hear him. I saw him carry a couple chicken patties back and forth, showing the other employees. I asked the very young man behind the counter what that meant, and he was nonchalant in explaining that sometimes the chicken doesn't get cooked long enough so it would get thrown away. My question is how many people in the lobby and drive though received that "Bad Chicken!?!?!?" Sorry Arby's Corporate, you may need to do some surprise inspections at the 86th St. Owasso location. That visit was the final nail in the coffin. I'm done with Arby's. (And no, we did not finish ordering. I canceled my order and we left. I did not want to risk getting salmonella.)
