To preface, I have worked in the restaurant industry for years as a restaurant reviewer and out of the hundreds of restaurants and businesses I've reviewed, ARC easily has the worst owner I have ever personally encountered. I have, of course, had bad encounters in the past, but never so bad to actually have to write a yelp review about it.
My parents first visit to ARC was fantastic so when Father's Day came around, they thought it was a perfect excuse to make a reservation for the whole family to experience. Our waitress was very helpful at guiding us through the menu and sharing her favorite dishes. She did forget to mention that at ARC, the food comes as it's made. In hindsight, this is great because you know the food isn't sitting under a heat lamp; however this mutually means that your sides will come out 30 minutes before your entrees which is exactly what happened. Again, I work in restaurants and having a skillet of Mac n'cheese sit for more than a few minutes while awaiting your entree doesn't equate to freshness. As a matter of fact, three of the meals came out and the others didn't for forty minutes. We didn't say anything and waited for our entrees. Once our entrees came, my brother's meal came completely wrong and he politely asked for it to be sent back. The waitress felt horrible and at the end of dinner, she apologized for the service and said the manager/owner is gone for the night but to call him the next morning. My mother called to tell him about the service, which is a very rare occurrence, and he completely let her have it calling her "money hungry" and actually yelling at her on the phone. He mocked, in a baby voice (lol), "Aw your son's steak wasn't the right temperature for him. Awww." I wish I could've recorded the things he said to her and I would've happily posted it. Let me tell you, it would have gone viral. While I thought my meal was great, I will never be coming back to this establishment and would highly encourage others not to do so when it is owned by someone who, not only knows nothing about customer service and decency, but does not deserve to be a part of the restaurant industry as a whole. Do better.
