Don’t know what it is but I’ve been really into banana flavoring this year so it was fantastic news to find this locally owned coffee spot a short drive from an appointment in Bolingbrook this past weekend that has a banana bread latte on their seasonal menu. I ordered at the drive-thru window. Staff were friendly and service was quick. I agree with others that $9 is on the pricey side for a 16oz drink. The banana bread flavoring tasted good but it could have used more banana. Still, it was really creamy with a nice ratio of sweetness. I’d be interested to try other options the next time I’m around.

Had a good time at Arcadia Coffee! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. I tried their Mocha and it was delicious — smooth, rich, and crafted with real attention to detail. The staff was friendly and made the whole visit even better. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to, and highly recommend to anyone looking for great coffee and a cozy vibe!

I’ve been here quite a few times because the coffee and empanadas will have you craving them until you come back! I’ve tried quite a few of their coffee and matcha menu but their sweet cinnamon latte is my favorite! They rotate their empanada flavors, but so far I have tried their spinach feta, butter chicken, Philly cheesesteak, and potato chickpea and they were all delicious. I would rate them in the order delicious from my most favorite to least favorite! The service there is always top tier as well- speedy and friendly. I highly recommend :)

Visited here on a Sunday morning and it was nice! The staff were super warm, welcoming, and down to earth. There is a drive thru and if you walk indoors, the coffee shop is on the left. They have an interesting set up as the shop is technically inside of a hair salon so there's no indoor seating for coffee shop patrons. Aside from that, they have a menu of specialty, seasonal drinks with super interesting flavors. If you visit their Facebook you'll see a pic of the seasonal menu in one of their recent posts. I got an Iced Honey Bee Latte from their Spring menu. Loved this latte!! It had distinct notes of that pure honey flavor with that familiar coffee taste still shining through and blending with the honey taste. Also they drew a cute little honey bee on the cup and they didn't over-ice the drink either. They had some pastries as well so I got a sugar donut which they warmed for me. They mentioned that when warmed it tasted more like funnel cake and it really did and the donut complimented my latte quite well. Overall this was a charming little spot to go to, I enjoyed everything I ordered, and I would definitely visit again if I'm ever in the area.

I stopped by Arcadia Coffee in Downers Grove on a quiet morninv and immediately felt the charm. It is located inside Sotelo Beauty Space, blending cozy cafe vibes with creative energy that is unique and inviting. The staff were super friendly and genuinely enthusiastic, chatting about their drink offerings like they were curating personal favorites. I decided to try their matcha drink and let me tell you it was mixed the right way. It was smooth and rich, made with ceremonial grade matcha that had both depth and subtle sweetness. I sipped it slowly and could tell it was crafted with care, it was not just any matcha, it felt elevated and refreshing. The overall vibe of the place is relaxed and welcoming, as though every detail from the friendly interaction at the counter to the thoughtfully prepared drink was tailored to make visitors feel at home and excited to return. I left feeling revived and impressed, already planning my next visit for another round of that excellent matcha or something seasonal and fun.

Finally tried this local spot and their banana bread latte is so yum! It has a latte whip on top, so so good! I had a pumpkin muffin and cinnamon coffee cake as well and delicious! Would come again!

My favorite little coffee place. All of their food and drinks have been delicious and i will keep coming back as long as I’m in or around DG. Truly the best independent coffee shop in the area. Also, the entire staff is so kind and they always welcome you in a with a smile on their face and always a have recommendation if you’re unsure. Try anything on their barista rec menu they’re so good! I could recommend every item on the menu. Arcadia NEVER misses.

Wow! Found a new favorite coffee spot! So flavorful. Update: came on a Saturday morning. Wow. Takes 15 minutes to get a simple coffee. Fixing the speaker would definitely help!

My Mocha was delicious, very good quality espresso for sure. They don't skimp on the mocha either. When I walked in, all three team members greeted me, very cordially and genuinely. I had a question about the number of espresso shots in the drink and the wonderful team member explained all the sizes/options. There is no seating, as it is sharing the location with a higher end beauty parlor. But, I rarely sit in a coffee shop anyway. I am very very happy with the whole experience.

Such a cute spot- a little unassuming as it's inside of a hair salon. Greeted quickly, barista (and owner) made recommendations and were kind and helpful. The coffee was just okay in my opinion, I had a latte and it honestly had no flavor but my friend really enjoyed the flavor of her pumpkin latte! Different strokes for different folks, happy I tried it though!

Visited Arcadia Coffee this morning and it was a good experience. The staff was very friendly and greeted me immediately. They have your typical coffee shop drinks along with some seasonal options. I went with a standard Iced Mocha and it was great. Drink was fairly priced and made immediately. They do have a drive thru, but you have to order at the window currently. They appear to share the space with another business, so they don't have any outdoor or indoor seating. Plenty of parking spaces though to get coffee on the go. Hope to come back in the future!

My favorite coffee shop! I have been here many times and the drinks are always so good and the staff is always so friendly.

Parking is easy and the coffee shop is connected to a hair salon. They also have a drive thru! The staff was friendly and pleasant, but there was no where to sit after I got my coffee. It's somewhere that you would come and go, but definitely not a space for studying or working. The coffee was good, but on the more expensive side.

The sweet cinnamon latte literally tastes like Cinnamon Toast Crunch and it is INCREDIBLE. The muffins were really good, too. The staff were super sweet and it's a cute little walk-in type coffee bar. No place to sit so just plan ahead!

We were looking for a coffee shop after having lunch nearby and Arcadia came up in our search. It's inside a black & white building, which from the outside we couldn't even tell was a coffee shop. There's no real signage. We found it via GPS and realized when we went inside that the space is mostly used for a salon, and at one end of the space there is a coffee shop. However, it's takeout only; there is no seating inside for coffee shop customers. That was a bummer because half the fun of going to a coffee shop is relaxing inside while having a warm beverage. They have a drive-thru, too. There was only one gentleman working there, so he was taking one customer's order at a time, fulfilling it, then moving onto the next customer. That meant a 10-minute wait before we could place our order, but not upset about that. A lot of places are understaffed these days. The gentleman working there was very friendly. We ordered a cappuccino, a sweet cinnamon coffee, and a halal philly cheesesteak empanada. I was surprised by the halal empanada because we weren't expecting any halal items on the menu. The cappuccino had excellent foam. It was thick and flavorful. The coffee was good; not bad at all, but not exceptional. My wife thought the sweet cinnamon coffee was decent, but not dissimilar from coffee drinks I make at home. The empanada was pretty good; a bit on the salty side, but nice and cheesy with a reasonable amount of ground beef and a nice, flaky crust.

Such a cute coffeeshop and they have a drive thru! I got an iced cafe mocha with almond milk and it was made really well. The staff at the drive thru was friendly and welcoming. I wasn't hungry but saw they also have halal and veggie empanadas. Looking forward to trying them next time!

We really lack a good small business coffee shop in this area! The coffee is delicious & they have a great variety of seasonal lattes and flavor options. The empanadas are also sooo delicious, I have more pictures of them in my phone then of my coffee haha It is a small coffee shop & most days it's quick service but when it's busy please remember to be patient because everyone here always works so hard

About the ppl bitching about this place, who must all be in perfect health, lucky you (on that later), do your research. This place uses water method to make the decaf, uses a high quality bean, has toxin free ingredients. Starbucks is the biggest pos there is comparitively. My coffee has always been burned tasting or acidic af there. There is zero comparison. Arcadia is always smooth, creamy and perfect, latte wise. The only other NON TOXIC coffe place that is equal is Blackberry Cafe, highly recommend. Never a bad latte there unlike the toxic joke that is Starbucks. My god have you seen their ingredients, the articles calling this pos out?? Give a shit about your health and stop drinking toxic crap. Being chronically ill with lyme and mold, both not under my control, I know wtf I'm talking about. Plus arcadia has flavors and special combos with many types of flavored foam SB only dreams about. So, time to give SB the well deserved finger and go here.

Decent local coffee shop with a convenient drive-thru window. They open early which is always nice. The drinks I've tried have been decent, not amazing. I find that their coffee is more acidic. And the drink specials are a bit too sweet for my taste. But I'd rather support a local spot than a big chain. I haven't tried any of their food offerings yet. And I do like that they hold community events in their space and parking lot.

This is such a cute little coffee shop and the coffee (which I've had twice now) is delicious! They have a variety of syrups and you can mix and match them. My favorites are pistachio, coconut + chocolate, and the candy cane kiss holiday drink (which has Oreo flavor). The baristas have always been super friendly and get you your coffee quickly. There is a drive through, which I think most people use. You can go inside and order but there is no seating which is a bummer. It's just my preference to be able to sit in a coffee shop, but if you a delicious coffee on your way to anywhere, I would definitely recommend Arcadia!

Small business coffee shop! I love that they have a drive thru. It's a little slower than Starbucks as it seemed only one person was working both the inside and drive thru. Overall it was a reasonable wait! Prices are cheaper than Starbucks. I had a white chocolate caramel latte. I enjoyed it!

Super friendly staff! The best drinks I've ever tried! AND ceremonial grade matcha!? Seriously the coolest coffee shop in the area; well done Arcadia. You've got yourself a new regular!

Favorite coffee shop in the area!!!! I always look forward to the constantly rotating drink specials it's very exciting. Although the sweet cinnamon latte is always a good choice. Shania is the sweetest barista and is always so so fun to chit chat with (but you can't go wrong with anyone). Also always love the empanadas and have had some really fun baked goods, love that that's always rotating too!!

Finally a craft coffee shop in the area! For those of you who are also tired of going to Starbucks and Dunkin, try Arcadia Coffee. They have specialty drinks and use quality syrups. I've only been through the drive-thru and yes the wait is a little longer than your commercial spots, but the staff is friendly and my order is always right. It's also reasonably priced! I'd highly recommend this spot, this is my new go-to coffee shop in this area.

Staff is always super friendly and efficient!! I love trying new seasonal drinks that they recommend. You can tell that they really care about their customers. I have had nothing but positive experiences!!

I lived in Arcadia, CA for two years. Went to several matcha/coffee shops. Arcadia Coffee in Downers Grove is the best I have come across! They mix up matcha the right way! Plus they use ceremonial grade matcha! I will pay the extra money and wait the extra time it takes them to make it up right! They have wonderful matcha options as well! 100% recommend. They did not have indoor seating because they are next to a hair salon with no wall separation. Code enforcement does not all them to have seating due to this situation. Anyway they are worth going to. Thank you for making the best matcha in IL!!!!

10/10 always. I love each and every one of the employees, and they always have new holiday specials which keeps it exciting! I go out of my way to come here. Best coffee I've had in a while.

my first time going here on oct 16th. always wanted to try to this place when i drive past it and im glad i did. i ordered the sweet cinnamon latte and it was really good. it was not TOO sweet, but sweet enough and the cinnamon amount was perfect. i really enjoyed it. i ordered a 20 oz and it cost me like 5.75 and some tax which isn't that bad, compared to starbucks. the service was very fast, got my drink very quickly and the worker was very nice, no complaints! i will def be back here

I had been interested to try out Arcadia Coffee ever since I saw that it was under construction about a year ago. I was curious that it was being promoted as both a hair salon and a coffee shop. I finally got around to stopping by last week and was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it! I do not want to say I was not expecting much, but the coffee definitely was beyond my expectations. I decided to order an iced sweet cinnamon latte. There are non dairy milk alternatives available, so I opted to switch out the whole milk with oat milk. The latte was smooth in espresso flavor, with the cinnamon syrup shining through without being overpowering. The drink had a good ratio of oat milk to espresso. Overall, the drink was made well and I will be back to try out their other lattes. I noticed a sign at the drive thru window listing all the syrups and speciality lattes they serve. They also offer a small selection of bagels and pastries. I had read from other reviews that there are also empanadas available at times, so I will have to try one soon! One thing I would like to point out is that the price of the latte was very reasonable. With tax, my large iced latte came to about $7. The staff at the drive thru were very friendly and helpful. They encouraged me to take my time in ordering and I felt so welcomed. I cannot say much for ambiance since I did not go inside the building.

Arcadia is a wonderful carry out coffee shop with amazing employees who are always serving with a smile and they have a warm welcoming atmosphere to which I am very grateful for. Also always be on the look out for any new drinks they may release temporarily. I thought it was really creative on their recent menu with drinks relating to a new book called "Onyx Storm".

delicious coffee!!! super friendly staff and didn't have to wait too long! a little bit pricier than most chain coffee shops, but that's a given when you go to a local coffee shop! you can definitely taste the quality difference. it is so convenient to have it in this area because there are only chains. will definitely go back!

Very good coffee in an area that needs more coffee shops badly. This place shares space with a beauty salon, and all the seats are for beauty salon patrons only. So, if you're just coming for coffee, just be aware that you gotta take it with you. Muffins, scones, biscuits also available, as well as convenient drive thru window. Seasonal treats and flavors complement an already great menu. Busy days can have lengthy wait-times though. Wish they can get their own own building (with sit-down space for their patrons) and another barista or 2 one day.

Beautiful people who make beautiful AND delicious coffee. There's so many different flavors and customizations that are available. AND they even host open mic nights!! Such a great community they're building. 11/10
