Archer Vineyard Tasting Room at Dundee Hills Resort

We didn’t have the food if there was any served…we were never given the option…if there was one. We loved the singular blues guitar player they had hosting, he was great. From the start everything went as expected, wine was good, service was good, atmosphere was ho hum, but the servers were great. If you are a senior that likes northwest blues this is the place for you. However, I got a bad taste in my mouth. I’m not sure if it was the wine or the owners daughter. She treated my significant other as if she was some peon because she asked if they would waive the tasting fee if we purchased three or more bottles of wine. My view of this establishment is an overall view after several days and not one of the moment and I have to state that I am disappointed in the way she was treated. There are businesses that treat their patrons in a way that make them want to be repeat patrons and there are businesses that don’t. From my experience this is the latter. It’s unfortunate that one bad seed can ruin the vineyard, but in our experience that was the case. I hope that the ones that are reading this understand that a customer, even a passerby, is your most valuable asset, and that you should never treat them in a degrading fashion.

This is a lovely wine tasting room in the Oregon wine country with nice windows overlooking the vineyards. The wine options were good and fair priced. We didn’t order food but purchased tickets to a music event. Our only complaint was that the wait staff at the bar were not considerate of the musicians and were talking loudly with bar customers. We paid a fair amount for tickets and felt this was rude and disrespectful not only to the musicians but the audience as well. Bar staff should be trained for these kinds of events.

Archer Vineyards Dundee is a very nicely designed tasting room with friendly staff! Great wine selection plus the owner and daughter are very kind as well! Great spot for local live music!

Just magical. Glad they opened this new location. Exceptional wine. Disregard others complaints about music events - the star of this show is wine. Reasonably priced tasting. Also don’t forget to visit their main location off Hwy 99 in Newberg.

Sara was very interactive with us. The wine is 95+ on wine scale and reasonable priced. We frequently go there now

Decided to go to McMinnville area for our anniversary weekend. It's early in the season, rainy and thought we would try Archer vineyards as they had live music this day. The winery tasting room was fairly nice, but ambiance was so-so. If it hadn't been for the musician it would've been lackluster. We opted for the tasting flight at $30 per person. The samples were very small and seemed only barely worth the cost. We did enjoy the Cab and at $70 per bottle retail was quite pricey. The offer is that if you buy 3 bottles one tasting is waived so $10 off per bottle. Since we were celebrating we figured we might splurge but still felt spendy for our opinion on the quality for price. We offered to buy 3 bottles with one tasting waived and asked if they would include two wine glasses (retail value $30 for 2 which is equivalent to throwing in our second tasting) the owners daughter declined, she offered 2 small stemless wineglasses for retail $5 each and refused to even through those in with purchase of 3 bottles of imo overpriced wine. I'm sure those glasses don't cost her more than $1 each. I felt like this is a pretentious winery and I personally will never visit again. This is one of many and I don't see the point of not being generous to customers when the prices are high. Why not make the customer feel great for a very small expense when they are spending money at your business? Idk ‍ but I think another winery would be a better option.

We love Archer wines. Went to the Dundee tasting room in July 2024. We had a great tasting and Diego was fantastic. Their wines are delicious and we decided to order a case to ship back to the east coast. Fast forward to November and we still haven't received our wine. Multiple attempts to call and reach out on their website have been unsuccessful. I've left multiple messages and haven't gotten any response. We paid over $600 dollars for this wine that we haven't received. I'm very disappointed in the lack of response.

I have been a member at Archer since January and I couldn't be happier! The wine is delicious and the service is A+! I have brought many guests and they are always so impressed especially when Sara is serving us! if you are in the market for a wine club Archer is a great choice!

We went to Archer tasting room for a wine tasting. Interesting that they served beer, My husband ordered a $8 beer that they poured into a wine glass. And when asking why they serve 5 oz glasses of beer in a wine glass. The worker said, that's what the owner instructed them to do. We have been to many breweries, and have never beer poured in a 5 oz wine glass. And always get a full pint for about the same price. They worker corrected it , by pouring another 5 oz in the wine glass. But when looking at my receipt, they charged us $16 for not even a pint of beer, Do not ever purchase beer from this place, unless you are willing to pay the same amount for beer, as you would, a $15 glass of Pinot. ( the beer is more expensive!) @$16 for 10 ounces. )

This beautiful new tasting room is worth the stop in Dundee. The Archer wines are amazing and the new space is stunning. Sara is so welcoming and knowledgeable on all the wines. You can also stay overnight next door in the RV park that also has rental airstreams and cute cottages. It's all open now!!!

Great service, Payson was very kind and professional! Hottest new place in town! I would highly recommend it to anyone who's interested.
