Google
Great coffee in a great atmosphere. Good service, focused on giving people best ‘coffee’ experience. The fancy pastries were a miss this time (thus took one star), all & all impressed w/ quality of this place.

Google
I tried the chocolate milk latte with chocolate milk and coffee. Honestly It was sooo good. The taste was very rich. It was kinda hard to find parking. I had to pay for the parking but it was worth it. The quantity was small but I paid 2.50$ for extra milk.

Google
The coffee is rich, flavorful, and made with care. The atmosphere is equally impressive, with a vibrant mix of greenery and music that creates a warm, welcoming vibe. The refurbished furniture adds an eclectic touch and is fun to look at.

Google
Wow! I ordered a breakfast sand which and was blown away by the quality and taste! This is our coffee spot weather we eat here or to go! This could be your new breakfast spot 🤗

Google
Coffee is great but the service seems like the staff thinks you should feel lucky to get their coffee and their service. Same at South 13& Farnam locations. The don't say hi or acknowledge you when you come in and they don't take names on the coffee nor do they call out orders when ready they just set them on the counter and expect you to fend for yourself. That's what I get for stopping by because it was conveniently on my way to work not again I'll go out of my way for Hardy coffee from now on at least they act like they want you there. Oh the banana bread is good though.

Google
Visiting from our of town and had to go after reading another review about someone complaining how spicy the chai was. Spicy chai did not disappoint and brought some good beans back to Denver! They had a good selection of pastries for a quick breakfast as well.

Google
The coffee was grade B. Pretty good but not bad. I travel all over and this was middle of the line coffee. Good but not great. The shop is a busy which a good sign.

Google
I have never have been a coffee drinker but my fiance and my dad both LOVE this coffee. So I had to come and try. I order the iced vanilla latte and dude. I’m a coffee girl now. And everytime we are in town I buy a bag of their coffee. Will say it’s a tad expensive but worth it 100%

Yelp
Archetype is one of the best coffeehouses in Omaha. The only downside for a lot of people is the limited flavors they have for coffees. Their espresso is smooth and perfect, they have alternative milks and they have some of the best baked goods and frittatas ever!! They have parking in the back and next to the building, no need to pay to park which is nice! The people who work there are knowledgeable and kind, the service is always fast and friendly! The shop is not huge but it's not small either, they have plenty of places to sit and it's got amazing windows and spaces to work!

Yelp
My new favorite hang out for breakfast and great coffee in downtown Omaha Don't forget to get coffee to go!

Yelp
Saturday mornings are busy! But it didn't take long to get our drinks or food. They serve lots of options for breakfast... a side of two eggs, egg sandwiches, modern toast with toppings, lots of bagels and pastries too! Sorry no pics today! Trust me all is great! My favorite is a toasted rosemary and salt bagel and two sunny side up eggs in the side. A casual coffee shop with lots of seating, there will be tables outside too when the weather is good.

Yelp
Vibe is a laid back coffee spot. Apple almond latte was a perfectly balanced caffeine free treat. Coffee latte was excellent. Coffee cake cornbread was fresh & great flavor. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Music was perfect.
google avatar

Nosa E.

Yelp
The only thing I ever get here is the chai latte and let me say that is probably the best thing there! To be fair, I don't drink a lot of coffee anymore but that's neither here nor there. The baristas are also great for a good chat! On the occasion I get to have a little sweet treat, I have never been disappointed.

Yelp
It's okay. Small shop. Staff was okay. The other reviews were spot on about the chairs... they are hard AF. My bum was sore afterwards too. There is street parking in the back. If it's filled, theres street parking by the houses as well. It was.. alright. Not my favorite Archetype location.

Yelp
Awesome coffee! I had the cold brew. Flavors were spot on, and everything was mixed perfectly. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I tried their Chai Latte and it was pretty good but nothing too special. I can tell it's something they're not really known for so thats my bad for not ordering a latte hehe. I can say that the ambiance was peaceful and relaxing. Many seats to choose from which is awesome! I feel like most cafes don't have much space inside so this was really nice. The people are so nice and very welcoming so i suggest u come here!

Yelp
Every time I get a matcha from here it's extremely chunky to the point where I can't drink it

Yelp
I love their coffee ice cream. Wait, they don't have ice cream but their neighbor Coneflower does. So I tried the Archetype ice cream at coneflower and from then on I knew I needed to try the coffee from this place. Ok the hubby and I just happened to walk by and it was open. For the last year I have been trying to get in but it's always closed, hence the minus star. So, I didn't try the coffee because I was in a hot chocolate mood. On another note I have been trying hot chocolate all over the city and have a couple in my top three favorites. A review for another day. Anyways, Hubby got coffee. Can't remember what it was delicious and I got hot chocolate. Let's just say there is a tour for the number one spot. It's so creamy and delicious. I love love love it. This is a really cool place we didn't stay because we had plans but I will be back.

Yelp
Banana walnut bread is a must-buy here! Huge piece, and oh so good. My barista was fantastic and even recommended some other coffee shops for me to check out while I'm here. Super cool environment all around inside. Lots of space.

Yelp
Ambiance was fine, no complaints as it was an easy in and out and the folks were kind. Service was quick and easy but we did not like the coffee at all. Most of us threw ours away. Not sure why but this macchiato looked like a pup cup that was barely full. The nitro was bitter and their house sweetener did not add anything to it. The chocolate latte had a weird aftertaste and I am shocked that they only had vanilla and chocolate flavors. Not sure what all of the hype is about related to this coffee shop as I have definitely had way better!
google avatar

Yelp
Coffee was good but my bum was killing me. 30 mins in, I had to say goodbye. It's almost like they want their guests to limit their visits just long enough....until they can no longer tolerate the pain.
google avatar

Yelp
I was in town visiting my mom and wanted to check out one of Archetype's locations after seeing them on Yelp. This location is a great spot to grab coffee drinks! It's pretty small, but has ample seating. It's also easy to grab and go. We sat at the small table outside. I loved the vibe and the greenery. And I loved my drink! The pricing is average, and the service was great! We will definitely be back when I'm in town, and I would recommend checking it out!
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
Coffee I've had here is good! I normally get the same thing every time cause all they offer is the same 3 syrups so if you're looking for a fun new drink look elsewhere! But if you're looking for your average run of the mill coffee shop drinks with hipster vibes you've stumbled upon one of the many.
google avatar

Yelp
Love Archetype! The coffee is always good. Great retail coffee options too for home brewing.

Yelp
Looked forward to returning to Archetype after moving closer to it and it had definitely lost some of its warmth and charm. The space was more sterile and cold than we remembered. I would describe the seats and table options as exposed and ridged. The shop looks like it's not doing as well...slightly messy with sparse everything, but hopefully this is just the vibe it gave off. The latte in store was delicious though slightly tepid. The handleless cup was a nice aesthetic however, it was one of the smallest questionably 12 oz cups encountered, it felt like 10 oz at best. Bought a 10oz bag of whole bean coffee (home for the holidays) for $20 and it was sour on our first brew. We are avid coffee drinkers with way above average experience in the coffee industry. Partner tried to call them to see if they had any advice they could give in mitigating the super sour note and no phone number is to be found. This is precisely the kind of thing that is frustrating customers of businesses across the nation. How does one run a successful business without a phone? Overall, very disappointing experience from top to bottom.

Yelp
Nice coffee place with a great vibe and great pastries. Plenty of seating and the strata was great also.

Yelp
Ten years in beautifully renovated space Wide open industrial style seating Complete coffee menu. Earnest Barista. Good coffee but one star short of great

Makayla H.

Yelp
I ordered a latte and the american breakfast bagel sandwich. The sandwich was large and very tasty. The coffee is one of my favorites in Omaha.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my first time trying archetype coffee. I've heard amazing things about it; I believe they are nationally acclaimed as well. I visited the Blackstone location pretty close to closing time on a Sunday (I mistakenly did not check the hours). Even though I did not get to spend a ton of time sitting in the cafe as planned, my iced latte with vanilla syrup was amazing. Their menu is very bare bones, mostly focusing on espresso-forward drinks. There are only 2 flavor syrup options, so it's probably not the spot for you if you are looking for a very sweet or flavored drink. I enjoy the taste of espresso, especially if it's high quality, so I did not mind this, but something worth noting! Speaking of quality, once I tasted my latte, the simplicity of the menu definitely made sense. Probably one of the best tasting espressos I've had in a latte ever. The ratios of intense espresso, sweet vanilla, and creamy milk were actually perfect. I only wish I had checked the hours beforehand so I could take my time enjoying it inside! Like the menu, the interior of the cafe is very minimalist. There are a few tables, but the space itself is rather small and I do wish there were more comfortable seating options. Not necessarily a super cozy vibe, but I can see it being conducive to getting work done! Convenient location in Blackstone as well. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
If you need a friendly small quick and easy coffee shop to stop to, look no further. Archetype Coffee has been there for me at the lowest of lows and highest of highs. Their Dirty Chai Latte is the best I have had in Omaha. Tons of flavor but not too sweat.
google avatar

Layla R.

Yelp
lovely storefront with very kind baristas. the latte art on the coffee is beautiful, and the place itself is very comforting! 10/10 would recommend

Yelp
Archetype Coffee in Nebraska serves expertly brewed coffee in a stylish, minimalist setting. Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere make it a perfect spot to relax.

Yelp
One of my absolute favorite coffee shops that I visit whenever I'm in town. It's top notch, aesthetic is great, pour overs fantastic. Barista's are skilled in their craft.
google avatar

Isaiah G.

Yelp
We found this place on yelp and decided to stop by . We found street parking . The place is very quiet and kind of dark. There are a few coffee options not too many flavors. The place is definitely somewhere we're you can work. This does not seem like somewhere we're you can bring kids. The service is good here. The coffee was good but a little on the bitter side. Definitely works because it kept me up all day.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm just a fan of visiting local coffee shops with hip, trendy vibes and this place delivers that with great service, great coffee and great pastries. This coffee shop is located in the Blackstone district, so parking can be hit or miss, but there is a small lot on the back and street parking as well. Every time I've come here, they've been great and super friendly. They have all your typical coffee shop drinks, and they're made great. My favorite baked good is probably the banana bread. Great place to chat over coffee or study!
google avatar

Sarah P.

Yelp
Located conveniently in Blackstone, Archetype makes delicious coffees day in and day out. I come here often and I have yet to have an espresso drink made that was subpar. Their pour over selection and drip coffee selections are always rotating and offer a great way for someone to try different types of coffees from around the world. The pastries here are also incredible!
google avatar

Kent M.

Yelp
All good here as I got an Americano and syrup drink. 4 Stars only because of syrup instead of honey! And the large size is actually a medium...by my measurements!! Cool setting and seating situation inside and out. And is an excellent drink. No complaints.
google avatar

Sarah A.

Yelp
Reliably special coffee. A lot of places that charge the high price of a truly special coffee experience. Stop paying that much for coffee that doesn't delight your senses. Archetype is special every time.
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
Best coffee in Omaha. You can't go wrong with a drip coffee or a cortado. Donut Friday is also great, with donuts from Olsen's, but get there early for the best selection. Baristas are all friendly and highly trained in providing the best coffee!
google avatar

Stacey G.

Yelp
When my husband and I went last month for a day date, the service was incredibly fast and had a cozy vibe to it. Overall, it's a fantastic place to visit!

Kristeena J.

Yelp
This coffee shop is amazing. The make their coffee with care. The muffins were amazing. The latte was delicious, beautifully designed and in a cute cup to boot. My daughter and I both loved it

Yelp
Simple and smooth. If you're looking for a classic coffee shop vibe, a date spot, or a new study space, this is definitely a place to check out! First: the coffee menu. They have basic espresso options (hot or iced) with oat milk as an alternative. Affordable, yet absolutely delicious! They even have a variety of their roasts to purchase from a couple different origins. I got an oat milk latte and I was very satisfied. Second: the ambiance. For me, a coffee shop has to match the energy you're looking for. They have plenty of seating indoors and a couple tables outside. So whether you're cramming for an exam, or catching up with friends, there's not too many distractions. Finally, the staff is knowledgeable about their selection, helpful, and friendly. I hope to come back soon!

Yelp
Looking for Omaha's best coffee spot? Look no further, Archetype is your place. I prefer the Blackstone location, but the Little Bohemia location is great as well. Both locations offer plenty of seating for studying or socializing. Archetype has all the classic drinks, made from my personal favorite beans in Omaha. They also offer a small assortment of pastries and other drinks (even alcoholic drinks at the Little Bohemia location). My favorite aspect of Archetype is they are truly a one stop shop for coffee... offering coffee beans, coffee making utensils such as grinders and kettles, and even free advice (seriously, I always ask their staff for coffee tips and they are always helpful). Don't miss this place for your coffee fix!
google avatar

Yelp
This was sooo good! I got an iced oatmilk latte and absolutely downed it within 15 minutes. Also tried the hot cappuccino and it was fantastic, didn't need any sweetener at all. Inside is super cute too, love the cabiny yet industrial look. Tons of space for seating, free wifi, and nice big bathrooms. When we went there was an unfortunate odor but we think that was just from a busted sewage pipe. All of that aside, absolutely loved it here and will definitely come back for more coffee!
google avatar

Adetokunbo O.

Yelp
The coffee is horrible and I am not even that picky. It's very weak and plain. No flavor options also. I really wanted to like it.The atmosphere is dope.
google avatar

Ashita S.

Yelp
Amazing coffee shop in the heart of Omaha! Very cute minimalistic vibes with great espresso. I loved the cappucino and vanilla latte.
google avatar

Emma L.

Yelp
Great coffee and speciality drinks. Especially enjoy the dirty chai with oatmilk. Service is very quick and the store front/cafe is simply so chic and "homey"
google avatar

Steven C.

Yelp
Really tasty and unique breakfast sandwiches. (Sammies). Took one for the road on our way back to Chicago and almost turned around to grab another it was so good. Coffee was tasty and although coconut milk wasn't avail (frowny face) the oat milk suggestion turned out to be a winner. A sure fire stop for go go juice when you're in the area.
google avatar

Jayna S.

Yelp
If you like the movie style arrogant, bored, annoyed you exist type barista service and overpriced , very plain coffee this is the spot for you. Very few options for drinks. Extremely expensive. The food however was amazing. So that's the reason for 3 stars. There are far better coffee places within walking distance.
google avatar

Matt M.

Yelp
I pay twenty-one bucks plus shipping for twelve lousy ounces of Costa Rica La Flor de La Pastora -- and it's well worth every stinking penny. I prefer the light, Swedish-style roast -- no burned, bitter java for THIS boy!

John C.

Yelp
Excellent coffee ... really good service ... great vibe in the cafe ... simple decent food ... definitely worth a visit for folks looking for some legit coffee ...
google avatar

Luis L.

Yelp
This coffee shop has amazing tastefully crafted iced vanilla lattes. Their sweet pastry's are very fresh and and complement the coffee well. We have been to both locations (little Bohemia and midtown) and both locations have a great vibe. Unfortunately they don't have straws which is unfortunate but since their coffee is so good I still have to rate them 5 stars!!!
google avatar

Jim L.

Yelp
Just a very cool, classic coffee place. I enjoyed a seat out front, watching people and cars pass by while I enjoyed a little break from the hectic pace of life. I got a cortado and a raspberry "poptart" pastry to enjoy. The cortado was rich and strong and delicious. Served with some basic but attractive coffee art on top. But the winner of the morning was the pastry. Much too delicious to be called a poptart, this pastry was warm and gooey and filled with sweet and tart raspberry filling. Absolutely decadent.
google avatar

Dave B.

Yelp
This place totally sucks. The outdoor tables wobble. And they are poorly placed relative to the door. Prices are way too high. But I would pay a high price if I knew my money was being used to stop global warming. Why can't the owner purchase carbon credits with all the money he is making? We must save the planet and we all must do our part. Archetype Coffee in Blackstone is NO exception. Do the right thing!
google avatar

Elise C.

Yelp
Archetype has my favorite house blend in town! It's not too bitter or astringent- very balanced. It's a great place to sip on a latte and do some remote work.
google avatar

Jacob R.

Yelp
Hands down the best coffee in Omaha. I visit most weekday mornings and am greeted by the kind baristas who know me by name and make it a point to use it. They always have two options for drip coffee and are ready to explain the difference in flavor. If you're in Omaha, you need to go!
