Archibald's Drive-Thru

The food at Archibald’s is consistently tasty, and the prices are fair for the portions you get—definitely a solid value. However, the drive-thru setup could use some improvement. There’s no overhead cover, so you’re left exposed to the blazing sun or rain while placing your order, which can make the experience uncomfortable. That said, the quality of the food keeps me coming back. If they added some weather protection, it’d be a five-star experience all around.

I ordered the dui fries and its big enough for two to share. Workers were friendly. Cool little salsa and condiments bar with chips right in front of the cashiers.

We came here late at night I enjoyed come in the Archibald drive-through. We weren’t too hungry, so we just shared. I enjoyed the soup and the burger was good. This is a nice atmosphere to come to on the inside. They have a room to watch sports and to the food is good, I would come back

I was expecting better. The fries were good, but the burger had way too much lettuce, and it tasted like a burger I could make at home. I didn't like the red onions on the burger. It was my first and may be my last time going there.

Surprisingly great experience. Came in hungry after my Saturday long run and wanted to give this place a shot. The chicken plate on the window looked pretty good and it came out looking even better than the picture!! The fried chicken was prepared perfectly and I cleaned up every piece. The sides were kinda meh, but overall I greatly enjoyed eating here. The whole store is clean and there are so many drink options. Will definitely be back for more.

The quantity was big! Archibald's burger sandwich tasted very good. The fries wasn't so great tho. They have gift-card bonus offers till the end of December. They are also opened on Thanksgiving Day till 2pm and have special breakfast deals.

Fun place with sports theme. Very clean and nicely decorated. Has a good variety of foods on the menu and the food came hot and fresh. We got Cheeseburgers (dont remeber the name but not the basic) one with fries and one with zucchini sticks. The fries are usually very crispy but they werent that day. Still ok, but disappointing in comparison to before. The zucchini were great. Ranch is great too. They also have a serve yourself chips and salsa bar. Specialty drinks at the soda fountain but horchata wasnt working. All around good place to eat, but not super cheap.

The buffalo chicken sadwiches are very good. Chicken is just a tab bit dry though. The fries are really good…. But this food is not worth $14.99 for a sandwich alone. The prices are outrageous. Not worth coming back.

CASH ONLY, unless you wanna get charged extra!!! I really LOVE Archibald's food, convenience and service! Unfortunately I loath their prices and that they charge an extra 3.5% if you use debt card/credit card! Hence the 3 stars! I come here about once a month and dine in. Today, I was in a rush and it was raining, so I used the drive thru. (They were really fast!) Today was the first time, I saw the signage at the window, announcing that they charge an additional 3.5% if you use your debt or credit card. WHAT A RIP OFF! I've always used my credit card. (YOU'RE WELCOME ARCHIBALD'S) They're already over priced, so I'm very upset! (As upset as I was when my father would introduce to me my "new mommy"'s!) Of course I'll be back with filthy germ soaked cash! (I sure I hope I don't catch a rare disease and end up on Deaths Doorstep, just for burger)

If you pay using a card they will charge you 3.5% extra ( debit or credit). I ordered a cheeseburger fires and two peace's of chicken deal. The burger meat was so thin you could almost see through it . The fry's was dripping in oil. I had maybe 4. The chicken tasted like cooking oil. Not sure if they change out their frying oil ever. I don't recommend this Archibald's. I have been to others but this location was disappointing and will not return.

I almost always come to Archibald's using the drive thru and maybe only once dined in. Anywho, the drive thru rarely has a long line and we usually receive our food a few short minutes after ordering. Our go-to items are their fried zucchini and pastrami sandwiches. They have an extensive menu and also offer breakfast items, burgers, and burritos. Their ranch dressing is made in house and is sooo good with the zucchini, fries and onion rings...mmmmm! Tip: pay with cash and you get a 3% discount, otherwise you pay an additional 3% if using a card.

Their breakfast muffins and burritos are fresh and delicious. They use a real egg and you can choose from bacon, sausage, or ham. Their chile cheese fries is our other go-to - we like to add onions and get the yellow chiles on the side. They also have a chips and salsa bar inside and there is plenty of seating. The drive thru is convenient and for the most part they are patient when you have questions about the menu. They make everything fresh so it may take longer than the usual fast food, but it's worth the wait!

I've been looking for some time for a good DUI Fries place not too far from me. Usually I go to Dino's but I wanted to try something new. Archibald's did not disappoint. Not only was their version bombastic, bodacious, and just overall bitchin', but I was not expecting their tweaks. This beast has the usual pastrami and carne asada over chili cheese fries, but it also had bacon and grilled chicken too. It was a feast for the eyes and the mouth. I loved every bite of it. These fries will kick your ass, leave, and then come back to kick your ass again. And I'm here for it.

Archibald's has a wide variety of menu items including burgers, burritos, chili cheese fries, omelettes, wings, and more. Most of the items I've tried were good but some favorites are their chili cheese fries and breakfast sandwiches (comes with bacon, sausage, or chorizo). I would pass on their onion rings though...They also use free range eggs which is nice to see from a fast food joint. The drive-thru could take a little longer but it's worth it for the freshly made food. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating as well.

I've come to this place now three times in the past two weeks. That is quite the compliment when you consider that burgers are rarely my first choice for lunch or dinner. I'm usually more of ethnic food kind of a guy. Anyway, the first time I ordered just the basic burger, and the last two times the more robust cheeseburger. These burgers taste like burgers should. Honestly, there's no reason for me to go to Wendy's across the street to buy burgers. Even at a few bucks more, these burgers are worth it. Their thousand island dressing is very good too. I'm guessing it's homemade? The other very nice thing here is the service and the servers. They have always been very friendly, accommodating, and just great people. With servers like these, is this a family run operation? I tried the fries for the first time today. They were good, just not great. Looking forward to trying out their other menu items. Be patient with the preparation of your order. They don't just have food sitting under a heat lamp. Everything is made to order from what I can see.

My favorite gyros reside at Archibald's! You wouldn't think they sold gyros, but they do!! And they are da bomb! Recently went here for a neighborhood meeting which ran late. So as it was ending, I noticed they were cleaning the bathroom. That made me so happy that they maintain the location. It's always clean. I also love that they serve beer!!

My son's soccer team is participating in the ThinknLocal fundraiser and I came across Archibalds. My son loved the sports decor throughout the place. It was a bit rainy, so it wasn't too busy. My son ordered a bacon burger and I ordered the chicken strips meal with one of their sauces. Both of us enjoyed our meals and they came out fairly quickly. I also enjoyed that I can enjoy a Space Dust with my meal. Staff was friendly. The sitting area and soda were clean. They do charge for the CC use, but I've run into a lot of businesses implementing this, so it's no big deal. I appreciate that they have a sign for it, rather than me noticing on my receipt after the fact.

I went through the drive through and the level of incompetence was wild. I thought it was the speaker on the intercom but it was clear that this worker was just either new or incredibly incompetent. Nothing wrong with the quality but I had asked for Korean BBQ, got ranch. Asked about the new surcharge, she didn't answer me but just pointed to a sign that had no information that I asked about. She clearly didn't listen to what I asked and for that matter, anything I said. Great place but an awful worker made it into a awful experience. Get rid of her. Threw the receipt away but she had glasses and was young.

Can you please retrain your workers! I asked for east ice on my drink and I get my drink and it's almost filled with ice , it's not brain surgery easy ice means very little ice

Mustafa was the best. Brought the family in for a meal and they were super busy but he made sure to give us the best customer service ever. Thank you. This place is clean and the food is Fabulous

I was very disappointed I purchased a chicken salad and onion rings. The chicken salad was a huge disappointment as the salad is $15!! The chicken was soooooo DRY (my dog couldn't even eat it) and the egg was so over cooked it was rubbery. I won't ever go back I rather go to Farmer Boys or Texas Roadhouse for a chicken salad the chicken isn't dry, salads are bigger, never over cooked eggs and CHEAPER.

The customer service sucks the drive thru employees (female employee) has no customer service skills. The employee forgot to give the drink when the i goal order was handed out and it took literally me banging on the window and yelling to get her attention. She looked at me several times and realized I wasn't moving anywhere so I had to bang on the window again before she realized that she screwed up! I told her that she didn't give me my drink and she just rolled her eyes and said oh here it is with a nasty demeanor/attitude. I told her thank you for great customer service and she just rolled her eyes. Personally I wouldn't recommend going to this place as this was the first I have ever been here and it is going to be the last time. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

I've been going to Archibald since 2006 for a quick large breakfast run if I didn't want to cook for my kids. Today was one of those days and ordered a breakfast burrito for $9.99. I was shocked to see the size of the burrito! The food speaks for its self.

Always receive above and beyond customer service via the drive through. Food is good for drive through meals.

Always have a great experience coming here with my family, definitely deserve more credit than they are given.

I'm not a big fan of hiding charges and I noticed the last time I came a surcharge fee it wasn't a tax the tax was on there it was just an extra $.61 fee added on after the tax well it's enough to detour me from coming back if you need to charge more charge it in the bird brices not in the hidden fees

$15+ "jumbo" breakfast burrito or $10+ for a "mini" breakfast burrito!? 5/10 burrito at best. And a 3.5% fee added for using a visa????? I wasn't even told their was a surcharge I would of paid cash! I want a refund this is outrageous!! Never returning here

Stopped in for a quick lunch bite. Went with the chicken breast sandwich and upgraded it to the combo. The total was $17.22! Are you kidding me? Is this a sit down restaurant or a fast food joint? The chicken breast was dry and very bland. The fries were old and not crispy at all. I don't mind paying a bit more for really delicious food but this was a total let down. I definitely don't recommend this place due to the high prices and lack of quality in their food.

This was their so-called "Ultimate" breakfast burrito.... Yeah right more like the smallest burrito. Never again will we be back there

$9.33 for a hamburger. That's insane. Burger was mediocre. Not impressed at all. I could get a better burger and cheaper at In-N-Out.

My go to place for comfort food. Huge portions at a reasonable price. Tasty with friendly service. Also love the nacho bar!

The incredible breakfast burrito, is super small. A burrito for a child. I am not sure why it's called. Incredible. I don't know when they made the change because I have been ordering this burrito for a while and it's never been this small, but supposedly they say that it's always been this size. I called to talk to the manager, but the manager wasn't there and the girl that answered the phone swears that that's been like that forever so not sure about that. On the receipt, it says mini breakfast burrito but they say this is the incredible burrito so there you go. Hope this helps someone when they order and they know what they're getting because the menu is obviously misleading.

We order here pretty regularly because we live right down the street. We love the happy hour deals. Completely unbeatable especially with today's prices everywhere else. The zucchini fries are like $4 during happy hour. Not the baby size. A regular size of zucchini fries for only $4. You can't beat that. Their shakes are phenomenal but severely overpriced. It is a small size shake and it was like $8. That's heavy. But again, phenomenal. My husband got it for me. I almost fell over when he told me how much it was. Our kids really enjoy the food here as well. I strongly recommend the country fried steak for breakfast, the chili fries, and zucchini fries. Ugh. So good. We will continue to enjoy their menu.

The food was horrible my mom order a cheeseburger with everything the adult menu and they gave her a kids burger with nothing but the meat in it and mine and my dads chili cheese fries where horrible we had really bad heartburn all night till the next day no amount of water would take away the burning sensation and they are very expensive to buy food from their I don't recommend eating here it's to pricey and the food is not even that good if you want good chili fries I would recommend going to the Hat their pastrami Chili Cheese fries are much better at the hat

Quickly grabbed a bite from here via the drive through. We got the double cheeseburger combo with fries and large drink. Standard cheeseburger that got a bit soggy with the tomato and sauce, but not bad. Fries were styrofoamy and bland on the inside but at the very least the exterior was kinda crispy and enjoyable. I know fountain drinks are really variable, but our soda tasted like flat syrup water. Blegh. Maybe a late night swing by was not the best idea.

Today I ordered through GRUB HUB. I misread the menu and called Archibald's a couple of times to re do my orders. I was so embarrassed!!! But the lovely young lady on the phone was so kind!! She made sure our delivery was fully done and on time!!! The food as usual was delicious!! Generously provided portions!!! Thank you all so much!!

Shout out to Joaquin. He is an outstanding employee of this establishment. He is friendly, helpful, and appears to keep busy doing all the extras. He acknowledges and remembers us. Great customer service!

Absolutely the worst burger etc restaurant ever! zero love in the food. Terrible place to spend money especially when they over charge for frozen food that lacks taste, quality and character. NEVER Again, why are you even in business! terrible is the word!

i decided to give this shithole another chance because i got a coupon in the mail i ordered a breakfast burrito and was shocked to hear them say it was $15 for a damn breakfast burrito i could've slaughtered the pig and mad it myself coupon didn't even take that much off and it wasn't even that big of a burrito i am absolutely NEVER coming back to this restaurant ever again archibalds get your act together cuz no one will want to pay these prices

Ok, this place is expensive but I support it because it supports the local schools. HOWEVER, you have officially lost me with this new 3.5% charge if we use a credit card and the 3.5% discount IF we use cash. What in the world is this post Covid world coming to? We have a fee for everything. I can't with some of these businesses. The positive and upside of this review is that your staff is nice. That's all I've got for you.

Wow what a complete disappointment this morning. I have been here a few other times to order the Incredible Burrito. This time there was nothing incredible about it. When they handed me my food i literally thought they forgot to put the burrito in the bag. It was so small and liteI had to double check. It was there but I was like there is no way it could've been in there. It looked liked they used a tortilla you would use for a taco. They should call this the Inflation Burrito. The food was a great for a while but now it's not worth the hearty price.

Archibald's is a family friendly, sit down, fast food spot. The food is decent but not spectacular. I had the California breakfast burrito. Taste was ok, carne asada was good but was filled with old fries. The fries were definitely old and hard. I considered taking my food back but just took the fries out. The restaurant is modeled after a sports bar, maybe? They have sports memorabilia on the walls and a enclosed seating area for larger groups. Kind of seems like a sporty Denny's. The interior is dated and needs a face lift. The restroom was clean at the time of my visit. I would say if you are looking for a quick bite, this is a ok spot. You're not going to have a dream of eating at this place again. On the plus side, they offer free chips and salsa as you wait. Side note, watch the reusable plates they bring your food on, the bottom felt sticky like they haven't been clean often.

The employees working the drive-thru window at the Chino Hills location are ALWAYS very friendly and accommodating! So nice to be greeted with a smile and positive friendly attitude!! On top of that our meals are always delicious. Our favorite is the regular size breakfast burritos and French toast breakfast. So yummy and they give nice size portions!

I came on here just like everyone else to say the prices are literally INSANE. The breakfast burrito is SO small for the price you pay. I've gone to bravo burgers and tams and the burritos are triple the size and either the same cost or less expensive. $20 dollars for a Greek salad and $14.00 for a regular burger and fries the burger was SO thin and I almost lost it in the bun. Thank god I found bravo burgers to get my breakfast burritos from now. At least I know I'm getting a decent size for the price. Probley will never be back.

The prices here are absolutely ridiculous and I feel that's an understatement. The prices for the burgers and sandwiches are what a sane person might expect for the burger or sandwich with a combo. A plain hamburger without cheese is $9.49 and the combo adds $4 for a total of more than $14 after tax. The more loaded out burgers are like $13 plus the $4. A Greek salad is nearly $20! A family of four would spend $20 more here than a sit down restaurant like Red Robin, Islands, or Chilis and that's factoring in the tip as well. The owners need to get back to reality. These prices aren't due to inflation...they're due to price gouging and pure greed.

The breakfast food did smell weird. I thought it was just the eggs. The taco chicken smelled weird as well. I don't have a "cast iron stomach. "The place was dirty and my stomach suffered for eating at that place. My stomach was really in a bad state. I hope I did not get parasites. Their concept is so good but their chicken and breakfast is so unsafe. I suffered!!! I got food poisoning and stomach issues.

Very pleased arrived with 9 teenage girls from Granddaughters dance studio to celebrate her birthday. We have been here several time after Grandson's baseball games. Service was outstanding the employees were very professional and took care of everything we could have asked for. Food came out fast and was inhaled. Love the sport theme as both kids are into sports. Great time was had by all.

The food is made right when you order. This business is taking safety measures by providing customers with an option to enjoy their meal outside. The outside dining tables are spaced out from one another. Cheeseburger - meat was perfectly thin. The hamburger included purple onions, tomatoes, pickles, lettuce along with sauce. For me, it was a great veggie to meat ratio but I enjoy a burger packed with veggies and a thin patty. DUI Fries -Fully loaded definitely a meat lover's choice. The taco salad is HUGE! I shared with my husband and we still couldn't finish it all. Overall it was soo good ! We ordered it through the drive thru and the service was very quick.

It's my first time here and found the place nice and clean. The food is EXPENSIVE for the type of place it is. I ordered a chilidog for $10.49 (thinking it came with fries cuz of the price)...nope! I could've gotten 5 for $5 of the same size chili dogs at Wienerschnitzel.

The food was fantastic as well as the service is great as always I highly recommend that you bring your family there. Anything that I have ordered there has always been fantastic as well as the price is very reasonable

Adjacent to Hotel Chino Hills. So we got carry out. Hugh portions and delicious food. Chicken tenders, Chicago Dog, fish tacos and onion rings. The onion rings were not fresh. We did take them back and got our money back cheerfully refunded for this item. All of the other items were hot and fresh. A chino hills gem.

Ordered a hot dog from them, way over priced $7.49: so i was expecting a really good hot dog. A $4 all beef Chicago Dog from Wienerschnitzel was far better. Archibalds dog had very little flavor and was Luke. In fairness I had breakfast there several times and there were fine.
