"Archie Moore’s has been a neighborhood institution since 1898. Some things have changed — the location flipped sides of the street in 1913, for example — but plenty haven’t: The current bar is a reconstruction featuring elements of the original beverage counter, and pine walls adorned with vintage Coca-Cola ads feel timeless. Equally consistent are the wings, coated with a balanced Buffalo sauce. Pair them with local drafts like Two Roads Ol’ Factory Pils or New England Brewing Coriolis double IPA, and time slips away altogether." - Stasia Brewczynski

The buffalo dip was pretty good along with the sweet potato fries. The steak and cheese was a 3 out of 10. Get the sampler, had it before, not too shabby. Best bar food in New Haven. Just stay away from the steak and cheese. Onions & meat should be chopped more, plus it needs more meat.

Stopped in for a quick bite at happy hour, wanted to try the wings I’ve heard so much about. The HH deal was 7 wings for $10. Classic sports bar feel with good service. The buffalo wings were perfectly crispy, not overly sauced, but saucy enough for a good flavor and kick. Would get them again!

Google
Top three wing place in Connecticut. Great local atmosphere and attentive service even when they're busy. Nachos were a miss this time but usually a solid appetizer.

Google
Enjoyed my time and the food when we were there in person. When ordered through uber eats, I ordered a Caesar salad for pickup. Priced at 11.99 in the menu and 15.00 on Uber eats. No description of ingredients. Included only lettuce and few specs of Parmesan… and a lemon wedge… for 15$.

Google
I ordered takeout for lunch, and it was disappointing. I asked for a well-done burger, but it was very pink inside and bland overall. When I picked up the order for my coworkers and me, they forgot to include the wings, so I had to go back. They said they’d refund part of the order as a courtesy, but they never did. The meal was not enjoyable, especially for the price.

Google
Atmosphere is cool and people are friendly. Bartender James was cool and made sure we were served. Manager came over to make sure everything was good. The food was amazing. Came out hot and cooked perfectly. Meat truck BBQ is a can’t miss. Stop by and try.

Google
Did uber eats. Food was DISGUSTING. Wings were overrated, buffalo man and cheese looked like slop!!!! Potato skins were overcooked and dry.

Google
4.5. Great neighbourhood pub with good vibes and good food. The wings were the highlight- definitely order them. They were crispy and saucy and cooked well. Also ordered some burgers- you can get any burger with Beyond Meat (great for vegetarians) and also as a “skinny” in lettuce and with a side of vegetables. Next time I’ll ask for no A-1 sauce - personal preference but read about the sauces they add because they will be all over the burger so make sure you like them. The Cajun fries are also great! Server was friendly and checked-in. Lots of other food options on the menu - very accessible for vegetarians. There is patio seating and a big back room as well. Three different sports were playing on the television screens- so definitely something for everyone. Good selection of beers!

Yelp
The Saturday Bbq is my few favorite. Second week in a row. The cilantro slaw will keep me coming back. The pulled pork is smoked and doesn't require sauce unless you must. Went on a limb and ordered the potato salad. Wasn't my favorite because it had way too much dill in it. The portion is hearty. Had the one meat and it's enough for two times

Yelp
Let me start by saying I grew up in the neighborhood and have visited here many many times so it pains me when I have to write a bad review to a place that I've loved, but this is a health concern. Ordered online buffalo wings and brown sugar bourbon wings and picked them up. When we got them home, you could smell like a vinegar/ammonia smell and having had their buffalo wings many times knew that wasn't a normal smell but figured maybe they changed something. After a few bites, we knew something was definitely off. We stopped eating them and sure enough, within about 30 minutes, we both found ourselves in the bathroom. Repeatedly. We threw the food away as we knew that was the culprit and called the restaurant to let them know of the smell. The gentleman I spoke to didn't seem too concerned but at least I let him know. Hours later, I am still a frequent visitor to the bathroom. I googled "why does my chicken smell like vinegar or ammonia" and sure enough, it said: If your chicken smells like ammonia, it means the chicken has gone bad and should not be eaten; the ammonia smell is a sign of decomposition, a byproduct of bacteria breaking down the meat when it spoils." So I was glad I trusted my now erupting gut, and throwing it away. This place is a neighborhood favorite and sells tons of wings so I'm not sure how we got a bad batch, but hopefully they'll heed the warning I gave and hopefully no one else has similar issues. Definitely a first for me.

Yelp
Been here before but never tried the lobster roll. To my surprise it was very good. The service is always good and the ambiance is pub like because it's a bar and grill restaurant. I say go and try the lobster rolls.

Marcia R.

Yelp
Ordered takeout. Good, a little heat, celery to complement the wings. Will order again when we're next in New Haven.

Joseph L.

Yelp
I love the new location. It's super adorable. They have outdoor and indoor seating. The waitstaff was incredible. The wings tasted AMAZING. The Mac and cheese was so delicious. It's good for kids too. It was quiet but I bet fnd bar is fun at night.

Allen T.

Yelp
My wife and I like the atmosphere. The service is excellent. Bartenders are always good but as much as I like this place it's over the top on prices. Three beers IPA, 14 wings and a Greek salad $73 need I say anymore.$$$$

Autumn B.

Yelp
I am a regular at Archie's went there today for the fish sandwich which was really good. I loved the mango on the sandwich. The lobster rolls were filling just wish it had more butter. The mojito was very refreshing & strong so if you like strong drinks, go here !! The waiters are always nice & the music is a good vibe. Great place to go after work or before a night out !

Reana I.

Yelp
Food was not what I was expecting. I ordered mango habanero wings and they seemed undercooked. I could not eat them. I recall Archie Moores being so much better. I will not return, there are so many better option to get wings. Maybe they need better cooks who care about the quality of food they are preparing and serving.

Stephanie H.

Yelp
Always a welcoming place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. A lifelong location for great food, good drinks and amazing atmosphere. One can never go wrong with the buffalo wings, a must have. Archie Moore's will always be on my list of recommendations!

Kevin D.

Yelp
Keri was amazing! She was helpful and extremely patient with us! Thank you for great experience

Lisa M.

Yelp
Saw the sandwich board outside advertising $10 lunch M-F 11-3. Called to see what that entailed. Pressed all the buttons to speak with someone and was always redirected to a mailbox. If you can't be bothered to answer the phone, I can't be bothered to patronize your establishment. You lost a customer before you even had one. So glad you're doing that well that you don't care.

Shema H.

Yelp
Food is delicious! Love their wings 10/10 Perfect place for drinks and a quick bite to eat. They play light music that was good but I feel is a little better at their other locations. This location is smaller than others but just as good if you're looking for somewhere that's not too packed. Service is family style may seat you or you can sit yourself. Cozy, friendly restaurant

Michael B.

Yelp
Food is amazing!! The staff are friendly. Stop by on Saturdays and Sundays Football games and Basketball and wings you can't go wrong.

Bryan B.

Yelp
I've heard great things about this place and their food. I'm new (6 months) to New Haven and thought I'd finally try it. I was extremely disappointed in what I ordered. I got the steak and cheese rolls and lemon pepper wings. There was a puddle of fryer oil in the bottom of each basket of food. The steak and cheese egg rolls were cold and tasted like oil. The wings were over cooked and hard as a rock with no lemon pepper flavor whatsoever. I didn't though more then 2 bites each and it cost me almost $35 with just a soda to drink. I've never left a review in my life and I've been a bartender for 25 years, so for me to leave this speaks volumes...

Jason P.

Yelp
I haven't visited this Archie Moore's in a number of years. I live closer to the Wallingford Archie Moore's and to other very good wing places. In any event, I can remember being at an event back in the 2000's where Archie Moore's wings were among statewide honorees in various categories. That's pretty cool. The wings are still very good, but, for me, they're not quite in the Top Tier of CT wing places at this point. The chicken is very good and the outer texture is good, but I prefer other sauces. This location feels old school in a good way. It's in the general East Rock area of New Haven. Archie Moore's feels like part of a cool neighborhood. The inside atmosphere has a neighborhood bar vibe too. Service was pretty good. It was a hot day when I was there, but the crew seemed to manage the heat as well as they could. Four Stars

Jeana A.

Yelp
Best Archie's PERIOD. The wings are outstanding. As is the rest of the menu The bartenders are awesome. Best time of day to really enjoy the place is during the day... I like how relaxed and casual it is. New Haven is definitely where it's at.

Ken T.

Yelp
Terrible service. We had to send the food back. It took forever. Thumbs down. It's not worth the trip or the time.

Matthew L.

Yelp
Archie Moore's is a neighborhood bar and restaurant that opened in New Haven, Connecticut in July 1898. It was founded by Irish immigrant Archibald Moore. Moore was the upstairs tenant when he opened the saloon on the ground floor of the building at 189 Willow Street (across the street from its current location). Mrs. Moore kept a gin still on the premises for favorite patrons. The bar moved to its present location in 1913. Although they've always served classic pub fare, it wasn't until 1982 when they first served their signature menu item: Buffalo Wings!! It's estimated that Archie Moore's serves up about 3,000 chicken wings each week. Since the 1980s, husband and wife Robert and Debi Fuchs have been the proud owners of Archie Moore's. The success of their hot wings has not only lead them to awards, but also additional locations. Archie Moore's opened in Fairfield in 1992, Milford in 1995, Wallingford in 1995, and Branford in 2021. Additional locations in Derby and Norwalk have since closed. I recently stopped in at the original Archie Moore's one evening while cycling though New Haven. I had previously been to the locations in Wallingford and Derby, but this was my first time at the original. I worked up quite an appetite and was very hungry for wings and beer. I decided to order seven of their Famous Buffalo Wings as well as seven Garlic Parm Wings. To wash them down, I ordered a "Lil' Heaven Crushable IPA" by Two Roads Brewing. The Buffalo wings were some of the best I've ever tasted; just the right balance of heat and flavor. The bar also sells bottles of their sauce: available in 'Original' and 'Extra Hot' varieties. I also really liked the Garlic Parm wings. When I've ordered that flavor at other places, they are usually dry rub wings but Archie Moore's offers a sauced version. Later I ordered a "Naughty Nurse" Amber Ale by City Steam Brewery. I must also make note that Archie Moore's serves very meaty wings; I was so stuffed by the end. I hate it when you finish eating wings and you're still hungry for more. I'll definitely be back!

Nicole F.

Yelp
The original Archie Moores! I've been to several other locations and all the food has been comparable to the infamous new haven Archie Moores. Small dining area, but able to accommodate our large group twice for trivia night. Friendly staff and great food, what else do you need?

Caitlin L.

Yelp
The food is really good! But like, I feel like it would be really bangin if I was drunk lol. The truffles weren't half bad, the wings hit, the eggplant fries slapped. Everything was decently priced. Outdoor seating was enjoyable, and the energy was so nice.

Joe C.

Yelp
Expensive 15 dollars for 8 half wings and 6 bucks for a light beer. There are so many places that you could go and get a drink and food that I see no reason to go to a chain that really doesn't offer you anything special. The food here is completely average. The service is pretty good. The drinks are also just average. There's nothing really to talk about here. Honestly, if you are going to downtown New Haven go to a real restaurant.

Maria C.

Yelp
This restaurant location is absolutely clean! The food was so delicious, I order the Buffalo chicken wrap and the flavor is just on point and the chicken is not dried out either, only thing if you prefer the blue cheese on the inside of the wrap you have to request that otherwise it comes on the side. The Cajun fries were so good with plenty of flavor. I have nothing bad to say about this restaurant! One more thing, the waitresses there are so pleasant and sweet, friendly. Diane is the best! She's on top of everything, and very sweet, Debbie is also a sweetheart! Debbie was not my server but she was there and anything we spoke about she was very kind. Just all around wonderful experience to be there. You won't be disappointed!

Joseph L.

Yelp
Food options are vast. One other place outside Michigan I've seen eggplant fries. They weren't as close to as good as Detroit's but, they had them. They weren't cooked all the way, soggy and very earthy due to no or minimal seasoning if there was any. The fish and chips are ginormous! Bland as well. The portion sizes are large that equate to the pricing. Better eggplant fries at a dive bar in detroit, $9, they wanted 13 bucks for the fries here and the excessive amount of parm just made them taste that much un-appealing. The wings were over cooked. The best thing was the bourbon raspberry sauce. Just put that on everything to give it some flavor cause that's the best thing here so far that I've had. The Cauliflower wrap was very earthy again, lettuce needs to be removed from this wrap or use mixed greens. It gets soggy and disgusting. I added Swiss to mine and the bourbon raspberry instead of the Asian sauce it comes with. The service was null. No table touch to see if we needed refills. The atmosphere is reality loud for a .. I actually don't know what to call this place? A bar and grill? A restaurant? I don't even know but the music was middle range noise level, 90's to early 2000's Nows greatest hits. The patrons were middle aged to young crowd.

DEBORAH T.

Yelp
Great food and service. The wings were great. Service was quick.. we sat down and moments later we had menus in front of us. Ordered the wings and onion rings and everything was great. Totally will be back again soon !

Jan B.

Yelp
I stopped in at Archie Moore's bar a beer after a trivia night at another place.. this is a cute little neighborhood restaurant. I enjoyed myself here I had a draft beer and shared an appetizer with my friend. The cure and try some other food. The appetizer we had was boneless buffalo chicken wings. It was very good.

Jennifer H.

Yelp
One of my favorite original places. Food is amazing and service is always wonderful. Nothing like the original

Alana C.

Yelp
Used to be a local favorite of mine. I ordered buffalo chicken tenders and fries, I could barely eat any of it. The fries tasted as if they were reheated. The tenders were covered in grease and not buffalo sauce. Very disappointed

Jon F.

Yelp
Service is great and so is the food. We reliably get great chicken fingers and potato skins. They take good care of their customers and it's a pretty cool looking bar too.

Jess L.

Yelp
While I still don't fully understand the fame of Archie Moore's, I can see why patrons like the vibe and the food. I came with a friend for an early weekday dinner. The bar area was buzzing with older patrons enjoying after dinner drinks and food. (I'd say most of the patrons were 50+ years old.) It definitely feels like a "local place." Beer menu was pretty standard with some nice local representation. My friend and I ordered the pulled pork nachos, eggplant fries, and some raspberry bourbon wings, a flavor I've never seen before. Nachos were good, but my friend said in the Milford location, they add much more meat. I loved the eggplant fries - great texture without being too greasy. And they're healthy, right (haha)? The wing flavor was nice, though I wouldn't say they were the best wings in the city in terms of texture and consistent size. There's one large table by the men's bathroom that is not nice at all - unless you want to keep seeing a peek into the men's bathroom. It needs to be a smaller table or something.

Olivia J.

Yelp
Very disappointing visit to Archie's recently. I used to LOVE this restaurant, but it's not nearly as good as it used to be. I always got the nachos which would be a massive portion and were always so good. I got them a couple weeks ago and they were not at all what they used to be. For one, they put the beef UNDER the cheese, so all the chips were EXTREMELY soggy and couldn't even be picked up without everything falling off... I had to use a fork to pick the chips up since the chips completely flopped as soon as I picked them up. The chips seemed to have a cheese sauce on them, which they never had in the past and I think that also contributed to the chips being extremely soggy. I don't know why they'd think putting the meat UNDER the cheese and between layers of chips was a good idea, but I hope it was just a mistake. I would never get the nachos again if they made them like this again. My dad got a buffalo chicken wrap and said it was really dry, so he was also disappointed. Overall, I am highly disappointed and won't be returning anytime soon.

Justice F.

Yelp
Great bar food. If you're looking for a spot for no frills wings, fries, hot dogs, and burgers, this is it. They have great nachos--and they'll even do a half order for half the price. We love doing this when it is just my boyfriend and I having a late date night.

Zach P.

Yelp
Wings wings wings wings wings! As a self proclaimed connoisseur of wings, Archie Moore's has it. Their buffalo wings are fantastic, meaty and saucy. Definitely my favorite wing spot in the New Haven area. Just note the wings are more expensive than your normal, but trust me its worth the extra few bucks. I will say I've encountered a few rude employees here but the servers are always very friendly and accommodating. Aside from the wings they have a pretty typical pub menu.

Jovon L.

Yelp
I'm not gonna lie, the atmosphere was a little off there. Probably because we sat at a table by the bar of the locals there were acting like locals but they were nice. I don't know if it was the owner or just a waiter that served us but he was super nice, he even recommended the wings for us and guided us through pricing because the wings are market price. Now for the wings, they were all good, also they were well done (thank god) but the Teriyaki was hands down my favorite. I would of literally licked the bowl but I didn't want to embarrass myself. Overall experience was good definitely want to check out the other locations

Mesh Z.

Yelp
This was my meal at this restaurant, I honestly can say this place has lost their touch. Plus, customer service. My wings came out cold and when I mentioned it the waiter apologize took it back basically they refried the wings i gave her and tried to tell me it was new wings. Impossible because it takes about 15 minutes to re-make wings and the wings came back 2/3 minutes later. The nachos were cold and the fries were soggy. NO THANK YOU! Never again!

Shannon B.

Yelp
My go-to place for some good bar food and drinks. Great wings, great nachos. I also enjoy their fried pickles; although this time they were a bit oilier than I prefer, but still oh so tasty. Service is good and place is clean. It's on the smaller size and usually hard to get a seat but this was my first time back since COVID and we had no problem with seating. They now have a tent outside, which seems to be what people preferred, but we opted for inside to be able to watch the game. Definitely was great to be back.

Joel C.

Yelp
Chicken sandwich was excellent. The pickles had some sort of weird spicing but not too distracting.

Jay C.

Yelp
I love this place. Um the wing are a must if you eat anything. The calm chowder is to die for. The service 10/10

Cindy S.

Yelp
Chris was our waiter.. Exceptional service. Never took his eyes off his tables. Very attentive. Suggested Raspberry wings, we got em, so good! Bartender made my favorite drink, a Hollywood to perfection. Thank you Archies!!

Jeanie B.

Yelp
Complete and utter disappointment! That may even be an understatement. Came here for birthday dinner and ordered $60 worth of wings and an appetizer. It's not even worth mentioning or remembering what flavors I ordered. The wings were drier than dry. It literally tasted old and stale. I came to Archie Moore's before. Many years back in the Bridgeport location and it was amazing. Their wings were drop dead delicious. What happened New Haven? I had some friends with me that never tried them before. I raved about them but to my embarrassment they were anything but. $60 down the drain. A waste of money and a birthday dinner. Spending that much for something so far from being just ok kinda hurt.

Nicole D.

Yelp
Wow!! I am so disgusted right now! Just drove to New Haven to have a nice dinner with my family. Arrived at Archie Moore's in New Haven, CT. Forgetting they have a mask mandate, we walked in through the door in the back and the first thing that was said was that we needed to have masks. Ok that isn't no problem at all. We sat and we were provided a stack of masks from an employee. After a couple of minutes, a couple walks in through the front door, mind you with NO MASK AT ALL. They walk across the bar and greet the "bartender" and tell her that they are going to sit at the table that is right by the front door. I watched as soon as they walked in to see if they were going to be greeted with the same message as me and my group were. Nothing was said to them. They walked freely right to the table they said they were going to go to. I kept watching to see if ANY employee would say to them what was said to us. Nope! Nothing! That same "bartender" came back to our table to bring us menus as well as the other tables menus. I said to her why our group was singled out as not having masks but not that couple who walked in across the bar and then sat at "that" table. No one said anything to them about no masks or even brought them masks. But we had something said to us and had a stack of masks brought to us. I then said it must be because we are minorities. She, of course, refused that notion. But of course that couple was white and my group and I are minorities. And still that "bartender" brought them their menus after I said something to her and she still NEVER said something about a mask. So we decided to spend our MONEY elsewhere!!! And because I had to choose 1 star is why they got it, or else they would have gotten ZERO!!!!

Nadia R.

Yelp
A great staple in New Haven. Archie Moore's has great wings and an even better staff. Both Greg's are wonderful, as is the owner. The service is excellent, as is the food. I've never taken out, I've only ever dined in. I enjoy sitting at the bar best. Everyone is super friendly, and you make friends quickly. It's easy to miss Archie Moore's when driving by as it's in a residential area. The restaurant itself isn't large, but it's perfect! Besides the wings, their loaded potatoes, fries, and friend pickles are delicious! I honestly have no complaints, and I'll definitely be returning.

Heidi M.

Yelp
Buffalo chicken quesadilla was very good! I suggest serving with a side of blue cheese versus sour cream. I reheated my leftovers and dipped in blue cheese instead. We go to the New Haven location because Milford, which is closer, doesn't make their tenders the same way.

Shelley A.

Yelp
Sadly Archie's New Haven is not what it used to be. The fish and chips had absolutely no flavor. I have never written a review before but felt I had to say something. Also, the Cuban sandwich was about a C minus. The service was good. What happened to one of New Haven's stars for feel good food?

Christopher T.

Yelp
Really good wings. Probably the best in New Haven. That said, they've been around for a while so a lot of these reviews/tips are out of date. Specifically, while Happy Hour is still Monday through Friday, discounts do not apply to wings; the free wings thing ended years ago! Wings come in denominations of 7. There's four sauces: their special sauce, teriyaki, BBQ, and parmesan. But you get two sauces per order. If you want 3 sauces, you're going to need to place at least two orders (like 7 + 7). You get a good amount of celery (no carrots) with each order which is nice. Plus your choice of ranch or blue cheese. Also.. Parking is kind of a pain because it's in a residential area. And the lot they have for the restaurant is not that big. Maybe fits 20 cars? And the way they have a "line" set up is not the best. Basically if you're waiting for a table you just stand throughout the restaurant by a table you think will open up. There's not much room (if any) in the front. This makes eating slightly uncomfortable because there's like a (sometimes subtle sometimes not) pressure to eat quickly. And you kind of feel guilty eating wings while people are standing next to you who are super hungry. Overall I've been here a few times and will definitely be back. They do have the best wings in New Haven area. But it's not better by a huge margin. Not sure if it justifies the slightly higher cost. If I'm looking for a quick fix of wings probably not worth it for me for the trip all the way up to East Rock, finding parking, waiting for table, and slightly higher prices than normal. All that said, I wish I could give 3.5 stars. And in this case I'm rounding down because our server wasn't the best. Might change to four stars the next time I go!

Caryn M.

Yelp
A friend and I tried out Archie Moore's after looking for a chill place to have some dinner and drinks after work on a Friday night. We were really in the mood for wings and after searching, this place seemed to be highly recommended. I like that in New Haven, this restaurant actually has its own parking lot. It's not too big of a space even though when you walk in there's a few tables around the bar and a larger sitting area on the other side of an opening you can go through. Overall, the wings were extremely average. I know a good wing so I was really shocked by both the reviews saying these are the best wings as well as advertisements within the restaurant stating as such. They have this raspberry sauce that I got on the side because I was scared of trying raspberry wings; we ended up getting the mild buffalo flavor. The raspberry sauce was good. I honestly enjoyed my onion rings more than the wings and my friend enjoyed his burger. The wings weren't terrible but they seemed very overcooked and dry. I would come again if in the area and someone suggested it, but I'd skip the wings.

Yelp
I was going to leave a 5 star raving review for how much fun my friends and I had~ That was before I reviewed my card statement. Damion, the bartender, and the atmosphere were excellent (the food was fine for a bar), but dishonesty and shady business is worth a 1 star review regardless of an otherwise great experience. The original bill was $100 and I planned to tip $25... However, the bill I received was $67 (Damion supposedly comped the shots) and I tipped $33 for a total of $100. When I checked my bank statement the total was $133 instead of the $100 that was signed for. Somehow the original bill and the extra tip were charged to my card even though the receipt given and signed for was for a $67 tab and $33 tip. Cool. Had a lot of fun but don't let them take advantage of you! Hope the extra $8 tip was worth a 1 star review.

Yelp
We live in the neighborhood, and before the pandemic, we used to go there almost every week. It's nearby, the food was ok, good enough for a neighborhood bar, and the waitstaff was friendly, warm, and attentive. As with most people, our habits changed during the pandemic, and so lately we go only maybe once a month or every two months or so. It's really not great anymore. I thought at first they just needed time to get their mojo back, but it's not happening. The change has been pretty significant, and I made my partner promise me after our most recent visit that we won't ever go back there again. He was quick to agree. The waitstaff are really friendly with the customers they know well. Beyond that, they seem more interested in their social relationships with each other than with paying attention to their tables. The food has gotten to be hit or miss. Food that should be hot is cold, fried food is soggy.....It's a shame. I'm going to miss this place.....

Jason C.

Yelp
We ordered buffalo and garlic parmesan wings. Wings came out in a few mins. The buffalo sauce tasted great. It wasn't too vinegary and it had a smooth creamy texture. The garlic parm was a little bit more oily than i thought it should but taste was fine. The only downside as some of the wing's skin was kinda tough and rubbery.

Carol V.

Yelp
We have been going to Archie Moore's New Haven for 20+ years. We always have their wings. That was also true on our recent visit. Unfortunately, we found the wings small, overcooked and dry. The desserts, on the other hand, were superb. This is, however, a pub where one expects good hearty food along with one's beer. Hopefully, they will get their act together again.
