Drove down from Ventura. First time at Archies. My daughter got the #5 Turkey and Bacon, me the #6 Roast beef. Both were definitely one of the best sandwiches we have had in a long time. I've been to several and I got to say we have found a new spot. The guys in the back super cool and experts at what they do. The guy in the front super cool as well. Great place excellent sandwiches. Pretty much anything you get here is going to be delicious. Thanks for making our first visit a great 1.

Went her yesterday at noon with a group of friends. To the reviews of unfriendly staff, I had a very pleasant conversation with the cook making the sandwiches. Gave me recommendations on what to get, history of the business and general chit chat. Sandwiches were good and filled me up. I went with Archie's favorite. They had two tables and chairs outside which was enough for 5 of us casually eat. Never felt rushed. Sandwiches came out quick. Nice variety of interesting and international goods. I'll stop by again when I'm on that side of town.

Always order from this place, bbq chicken is my go to, they smash Funyon chips, BOMB. They also have events when they serve chopped cheese, bomb too you won’t regret it

The Food is very delicious and the workers are super polite and helpful. The vibe is awesome! I recommend everyone going to Archie’s. Greetings from Germany

They do not skimp on the meat here!!! Sandwiches are a good size, cute lil tables and chairs outside. Cousin took me here because it’s a staple!

Pretty good but need to specify on delivery apps that hot fries... Means the flaming hot fry chips not actual fries.....

Went today & the girl at the register was great! She was super friendly! Now, the guy making the sandwiches, that's another story! Had a scowl on his face, barely spoke to us & when he did he mumbled. I was speaking to him & he stared at me like I was bothering him. As we were looking over the menu he just stared at us like he was annoyed we didn't know what we wanted. We've never been before. One thing my family & I will do is spend money on food but I won't spend my money when i'm treated like a bother so the chances of us returning is slim to none. $150 on sandwiches, snacks and drinks to be treated like we were a bother is crazy!. Now on to the sandwich itself, mine was good. My son's was dry because he didn't put the mustard or mayo on it and the bread was hard & rubbery from being toasted. The grilled cheese was on sour dough bread but there was more bread then cheese.

I've been wanting to come here since I work up the street and yay!! So glad I did! My go to lunch spot. I can't wait to try out all the cool chips! The lady at the front is super attentive and quick and the sandwich guy is nice and cute :) thanks guys!!

Conceptually fun and great selection of unique snacks but pretty pricey. $15 for candied grapes Came one late evening for sandwiches with my husband and we both thought they were okayyy. We got a tuna melt and a BLT.. classics you can't go wrong with but I didn't think they were particularly standout. Tuna melt was missing like an extra texture and blt's bacon was so thin it was falling out like bacon bits. My husband joked that we were better off staying home and making our own sandwiches soooo yeah.

I seriously dream about the sandwiches from this place! Everything on this menu is incredible! Don't mistake this establishment for a tiny mini mart! The sandwiches served here are truly food art with spectacular combinations of high-end ingredients on fresh, delicious breads! The owners and people who work here are so friendly and awesome too!! Also, even though the shop occupies a small space, the array of unique products you can get here is unmatchable! Want Korean BBQ, wasabi, elote or shrimp-flavored chips? They've got it all! Dozens of unique sodas, too, and Hersheys & KitKats in flavors you've never seen! If I could drop in here every day, I would:)!

A really good Tuna Melt at Archies's. They use high-grade albacore tuna, inside of delicious toasted sourdough bread, along with tomatoes, mustard and a few other ingredients. The proportions of the ingredients are perfect, work so well together and each bite is fresh and the flavor profile is just phenomenal. Look forward to trying more of their sandwiches. Oh, and they're open till 3 am to feed those night owl food-hunters. I'm one of them sometimes. Come to Archie's!

Bomb food, cool vibe. I'd definitely come back. Very busy area- parking was a hassle but the sandwich was super fresh

I came to get an ice cream shaped as a fruit, and each one of them was $10. I ended up paying $40 for four and come to find out at the grocery store they were each sold for $5. It's very overpriced here.

I love this spot. I've tried so many different sandwiches and they have all been 10 out of 10. They can get really busy sometimes, but honestly, it is well worth the wait. Plus, they have so many different cool snacks you've never seen before anywhere else and drinks.

Met a buddy at Archies recently on a pass through and grabbed a sandwich to go. This little deli and mini mart is a cornerstone community business and is busy. A traditional mini mart interior with a deli counter. The deli sandwich counter is in the back and is walk up service, made to order. We ordered our sandos and then hungout for a few while they were being made. Quick and convenient, with quality ingredients and friendly service makes Archies a must stop if youre in the area. We got our food, paid the lady at the front register and were on our way in about 10-15 minutes. 3.5 Stars rounded up for the great service at the deli counter 00951

One of my fav late night spots in the valley. The #8 is my go to sandwich and never fails me. Always perfectly toasted. Can't go wrong with the snacks, the banana pudding is a MUST and the Kandy grapes are fireeeee. Customer service is always a 10/10. And it's such a cute store, the music and vibe is always right. And you never wanna miss an event. Those chopped cheese are to die for. Love the Archie's gang

Best tuna melt in the world i definitely recommend coming here it not only taste amazing but the vibes are great and the store has a lot to chose from

Gotta make it back and try some other options. Wanted the turkey but I came late at night so they were sold out. Simple but great menu. They have plenty of exotic sodas and snacks as well. Great place to try. Counter clerk was friendly and inviting. Will definitely be back.

Sandwiches are good but the service is hit or miss. It's a bit overpriced for a sandwich shop. A small bag of chips for $5 if it's "imported". The most recent visit, I walked in and the guy said just a second, walked out and I was left waiting for more than 5 minutes before I just walked out and went to eat next door instead.

Amazing concept of a shop. Exotic drinks and snacks. Everything is taxed egregiously. Amos Brand Peelerz sold at $7 vs $4 elsewhere. Fire Banana Pudding Biscoff Ice Cream at $8/6oz container. Sandwiches are kind of on the mid side being at the price point they are but it's in North Hollywood so it makes sense.

Wouldn't recommend, customer service is terrible, guy making my sandwiches was hella rude, smoking out front and took forever to come make me and my friend's sandwiches like we weren't even there. Don't even kno if dude washed his hands my bro said the sandwich made his stomach hurt and mines was actually bubbling right after too ! DON'T COME HERE

Definitely not what it's hyped up to be.... Had the Turkey & Bacon and it was dry as hell to say the least.... Great service and selection of sodas and chips but wouldn't go back for their sandwiches.

I used to buy the kandyfruitla grapes all the time and would only come for them but now not only do they taste different but they look slightly different and have a new name. Anybody know what happen to the original kandyfruitla candy grapes?

Their BLT should be used as as example of how a true BLT should look and be made. A tower of bacon piles over the perfectly toasted bread with the right amount of sauce and fixings. Whenever they have their special kabob pop ups out front be sure to order the kabob sandwich, you can thank me later, chase it down with a fresh pressed juice from drink Jusu and finish it off with one of those viral tik tok mango ice creams that are always in stock.

Archies is the place where you'll find an international or usually flavoured soda, candy, or pack of crisps. They have tobacco products and freshly made sandwiches - I'm here to review the latter. We've tried three of their sandwiches. Archie's favourite (cold cut combo with bacon) was good. The turkey & bacon (hot sub) was devoured and raved about. The sub I chose was the stinker: the roast beef, a hot sub on a toasted baguette. The meat was okay - I thought the combination of roast beef, two cheeses, pepperonici, mayo, & spicy mustard sounded the most flavourful, and spiciest, of the sandwich options. However, the bread was so toasted that the entire sandwich wasn't enjoyable. The baguette was tooth-breakingly tough, crumbling into dust when I gnawed at it, scraping the roof of my mouth. Likewise, the roast beef wasn't exactly fall-apart tender, so it was a fucking fight to take a simple bite of this sandwich. It was also flat - it looked like it had been stepped on. My boyfriend's hot sub (the turkey/bacon) was also toasted, but not squashed like a junkyard car. The roast beef - the most expensive sandwich on the menu - was not worth the $15 I paid. With all the sandwich options in this area - Jimmy John's, Firehouse Subs, and especially the phenomenal Cheeba Hut across the street - I would not come back here again.

So their IG page is a lie. They advertise that they make sandwiches until 3am, including the NY Morning breakfast sandwich. I show up at 1:30am on a Saturday night. Some dork with glasses and a lousy middle school mustache tells me they are only making about half of the sandwiches on the menu, but not the NY sandwich. Don't advertise that you're open until 3am if you're gonna pull some nonsense like that. Close at 1am then!

Today I went in for a sandwich with a friend and the guy who assisted us was very disrespectful and rude. Sorry we took you away from rolling your blunt outside. Very disappointing especially since I was trying to recommend this place.

Love how the entrance looks. Archie's carries a wide variety of items like exotic snacks, chips, drinks, etc. then there's the deli section. it pretty much has anything you could potentially crave. I didn't end up purchasing any chips/drinks but I did order the turkey & bacon w/ avocado. Which I really enjoyed! My bf got the classic. He said he liked mine better lol. I ate everything! Im going to have to come back for the snacks-

Archie's has been hosting some of the best events out there in North Hollywood. I used to live blocks away from there and I was always looking for something to do and better food to eat than all the fast food around me. Not only do they have great events with people like Kabob Senpai (what up Baloo) but they also make some of the best sandwiches out here too! That pb&j sando, FIIIIIIRE and they serve my fav late night snack, KandyfruitLA's frozen grapes with candy coating. They also represent some of the most influential people in my space like Jesse the Legend and they pay homage to him by serving up that pudding everyone loves so much. You really feel like it's a Cheers bar here with zero alcohol. They got fire snacks, exotic chips and soda and the most fire sandwiches. Check em out!

Food - tried the #1 sandwich it was a (3/10) for $15 it was stupid expensive, I should've just gone to Jersey Mike's or subway, anything is better then this spot. Service - (-10/10) yes a negative 10 out of 10. The cook had attitude, I guess because I took him out of his break or something? The dude seems very lazy. I don't think I'll be going back.

Overpriced is an understatement. $15 for frozen grapes and $15 for banana pudding is high way robbery. At least mark the prices on your items so people are not shocked to see a $45 total for 3 basic snacks!

Always great service and a variety of snacks to choose from. Sandwiches are fresh and tasty. The grilled cheese always has a great cheese pull.

I didn't purchase any food, however, the vibe of this place is really nice. It's small and looks like a nice hole in the wall. What's nice is they also have a lot of exotic snack options compared to a lot of the things available in the city. I'll definitely come back.

I went to archie's for the first time a few days ago. i ordered "the buff chicken" for $11.25. As the man was making my sandwich I tried to make some small talk and asked about his day to which he said he did NOT want to talk about it. As a joke I said "okay didn't ask." As I turned away mid way making my sandwich he threw it at my head and told me to get out.

The $8 Ghost of a PB&J I recently indulged in what was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for a shocking $8. Let me save you the suspense: it was a joke. I don't know if they're charging by the emotional trauma or the crumbs. Imagine a slice of bread that's seen more action as a coaster than a culinary canvas. Now, imagine that slice had a tragic encounter with the faintest whisper of peanut butter and jelly, barely there, like a memory of a flavor that once was. If you took a bite, you'd be more likely to find the essence of disappointment lingering on your taste buds. Seriously, $8 for what felt like a philosophical question about whether a sandwich with no substance actually exists? Save your money and just lick the inside of an empty jar for a similar experience. At least you won't be charged for the privilege of being let down. EDIT: they do sell 2$ uncrustables that are much better. That deserves a 5 star.

Basic, but well appointed little deli and store on Magnolia Boulevard, nestled among bars and restaurants. Stays open late and is a great asset to the community. One thing that sets this place apart is a nice selection of craft sodas, and other exotic snacks and treats from all over the world. Basic turkey sandwich is like 8 bucks and change. Hard to beat.

Food was over the top good. The selections of drinks, chips, and deserts were on point. Tons of Asian varieties to choose from. I'm def going to have to come back again.

Archie's has an eclectic selection of exotic snacks and drinks. Can't go wrong with any of their deli sandwiches. The PB&J brings me back to childhood. The staff are friendly and always happy to help. Grab a Jusu, sit down outside and enjoy the vibes.

Came here for the subs and they were a hit! But what caught my eye when I walked in was all the exotic snacks they had! The people there were very helpful and friendly , would definitely recommend
