The service was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. I had the tiramisu French toast and the brioche bread was thick cut and so tasty. My husband had the short rib Benedict. They make the short ribs each morning, flavorful and tender. The potatoes were seasoned well and crispy. This is the best breakfast spot I’ve been to in a while.

Google
Archie’s Social House is a 10/10! the kind of place that feels like it was made for brunch dates and Instagram feeds. Whether you’re grabbing breakfast, brunch, or lunch, the food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. There’s a cozy outdoor patio and plenty of indoor seating, but fair warning: it can get busy on weekends or holidays. Still, the wait is totally worth it. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the overall vibe is relaxed and welcoming. We had a great time here and would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a cute and satisfying spot to eat.

Google
We sat outside and enjoyed -really enjoyed- our late breakfast. Our server was very friendly and very helpful with the menu. We were a party of 3 - one vegan, one plant based, and one Omni ore- and Archie's had something for everyone. The food was very tasty and everyone ate everything. I especially liked my Mimosa choices- I had the pineapple -basil Mimosa. I highly recommend! Archie's exceeded our expectations.

Google
Some good and some bad for our visit to Archie's. We can start with the good. The food is very good. We had the brunch burger and the Northern breakfast. The portions are large, definitely big enough to share for most. The beefalo patties on the burger were awesome. The not so good - the service. We were unlucky and got seated right by a service door with staff coming and going constantly. If you can avoid that seat you'll have a better time, but they will not allow you to request a seat change. The service was also a bit slow and our server was usually nowhere to be found. Go for the food and set your expectations accordingly for the service.

Google
Archie’s was phenomenal! We came on a Saturday morning when it was quite busy, but we didn’t mind the wait. Our server was Ashley and she was wonderful. We ordered the French toast latte, the honey lavender latte, pancakes, short rib Benedict, kale potato breakfast hash, and French toast and it was all awesome. We will definitely be back!

Google
Great food! Our family enjoyed our brunch here and my wife really loved it! Our waitress was super kind and polite and it was a perfect weather to sit outside and enjoyed our meal! The coffee was awesome!

Richard Burgess

Google
Everything was delicious. Stunning eggs benedict with fried green tomatoes for a twist. Even just the "potatoes" have an exquisite blend of spices that was unexpected and delicious. The churro French toast special with lemon curd and tart cherry sauce was to die for. And the French toast latte topped it off perfectly. A "can't miss" for Traverse City, breakfast or brunch

Google
Ate at Archie’s Social House and greatly enjoyed ourselves! We sat at the bar with our group. Which was acceptable, but not preferred. I ordered Egg’s Benny, which is my go to! The potatoes on the side were good and the hollandaise sauce was not too runny and not too thick. There were some clumps in it that I did not care for. The eggs weee cooked well. Like many of my reviews, I did think prices weee a bit high. Black coffee was $4 a cup, so instead of spending $8 on coffee I just sipped some of my husbands.

Yelp
I can't get over the truck fries! So good my wife and I went 2 days in a row! The bananas foster topped pancakes is likely the best food I've ever tasted. Come try it!

Yelp
We felt the previous reviews were spot on! My wife and sister got the Zen bowls, and were delighted. I got the build your own omelette, and the tastes were absolutely delicious. The service provided by Kaitlyn was punctual and friendly. The out door seating was pleasant.

Yelp
Really enjoyed this tucked away spot for brunch on a Sunday before heading home. It's in the warehouse district area across the river, further into town. Was pretty packed and there was a wait but we got right in and a spot inside. Note, you can park right on the street outside. Don't go looking for a lot like I did; ended up with a few blocks walk. Inside it's quaint and small but comfy. Lots of up north cabin/ greenery decor. Nice patio out front too but not gonna wait for a seat there. Will say, it is LOUD inside. Gotta yell to talk. Food selection was unique, like they tried too hard on some things but the smash burger was good. Gotta bring your own mustard though as they don't have regular mustard! Only weirdo types. And the accompanying "sauce" that comes with the burger isn't good. Yuck. Still a good spot to check out by Rare Bird and a nice change of pace from the local places.

Yelp
Not sure if they take reservations but I would recommend one unless you don't mind waiting. If you do have to wait there's a mini river walk behind that is nice. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very cute inside with plants. Lots of options and specials. I got the mushroom Benny and it was made with local mushrooms. There's bacon on it too. It came with a side of diced potatoes. Nice crisp to them. Got a side of pancakes. So good! Def get a side to share. I got the blood orange matcha. More blood orange than matcha. I liked at my table there was a hook behind my seat so I could hang my purse.

Yelp
Service was poor from the start. The tall hostess/server barked at us when we decided to change to indoor seating before we even walked past the hostess stand. It's not like we had even been seated yet. The place was basically empty. Our young, special needs daughter decided it was a little too chilly to be outside and we wanted to accommodate her. So sorry for the brief inconvenience. Our actual server was scattered, forgetting various items. Food was way below average. Nothing like the amazing Patisserie Ami experiences of the past. Theres nothing special about this place. Servers should probably be reoriented on customer service. They aren't doing us any favors with this dining experience, as this is how they acted towards us over the entire experience. Maybe it's just a sign of times. Will not be returning.

Yelp
Came to brunch here as a family of 4 -- cute place with lots of options for both plates and beverages, including specialty lattes. Both the honey lavender and french toast lattes were tasty, if maybe a tad too sweet on the french toast lattes. We ordered two Zen Bowls, a Mushroom Benny, and the Monte Cristo. The Mushroom Benny was good, no complaints there. And though the Zen Bowls were solid, it wasn't anything we couldn't make at home ourselves. The disappointment with both bowls, however, were the amount of yellowed greens there were in our bowl. We understand that it can be tedious and time-consuming to sift though all the greens you have in inventory; however, no one should be served yellow/chartreuse-colored leaves. These can make one sick. Someone in the kitchen needs to ensure no diners are served greens they shouldn't eat! As for the Monte Cristo, the bread that it was served on was unfortunately soggy. Monte Cristo sandwiches are typically crisp on the exterior, so the sandwich was rather not fun to eat. Service was fine. Nothing to write home about. Parking: paid street parking. We paid $2.50 for 2 hours. Coming from Los Angeles, these rates are cheap!

Yelp
The food was excellent. We had the avocado toast with the poached eggs. I had no cilantro as that is soap... The wait staff never offered drink refills. We had to ask. We are outside, if not under the awning it would have been too hot. It was a great met up with a friend.

Yelp
Archie's Social House gives both cute & yummy! The service was great, as our waitress was very attentive and upbeat. The coffee was one of my favorite parts too! I chose this restaurant for my family because of the gluten free options, but was wildly disappointed when they were out of their gluten free bread, leaving my sister with limited options. My quesadilla was on their specials and I throughly enjoyed it, but the others were a bit disappointed with the flavors in their dishes. Overall, it's a cute place for breakfast with solid service and coffee, but I'm not sure we'd go out of our way to return.

Yelp
Intimate restaurant with great breakfast! We arrived at 10:30 on a Saturday in March and were able to get an open table. Our group of 4 ordered the mushroom benny, short rib benny, breakfast burrito and a one of the cherry French toast specials. The favorites were the short rib benny and French toast. The French toast was like a dessert, but great when sharing and the short rib benny had lots of flavor. The burrito was not super flavorful, but we they offered a local hot sauce on the table. Our server was very friendly and service was fast. The restaurant is small and tables are very close together, but not noisy.

Yelp
We had a group in town for a long weekend and a couple of us early risers ventured out for breakfast and discovered Archie's. We must have timed it just right since shortly after being seated, the place was filled and there was a line out the door. Our server was great and apologized for the time it took to get our pumpkin spice lattes, but every coffee and cocktail is obviously handcrafted and worth the wait. We had a hard time deciding what to order until we saw what the local couple had next to us. They were sharing the apple cinnamon roll pancakes and breakfast burrito with fries - we totally copied and ordered the exact same! Wow...our choices did not disappoint. The pancakes were perfectly cinnamony with an apple compote on top and real maple syrup. The burrito was loaded with eggs, sausage, pickled onions, potatoes and cheese. The kicker was the maple aioli on the side that went perfect with both the burrito and perfectly, crispy, seasoned fries. This will definitely be a regular stop for us when we visit!

Yelp
Service-excellent. Great personality. Helpful. Attentive. In fact, several staff stopped by to check on us. Food: perfect. Very creative and tasty salad. Good portions. Shareable for two. Creative menu options with all the favorite Traverse City taste treats. Cost: on par for this area Decor: cute. Comfortable. Not busy in a Thursday night so also quiet and spacious. Indoor and outdoor seating options. So glad we stopped by

John V.

Yelp
Paid parking to eat here is a serious pain. Virtually NOTHING on th menu a diabetic can eat. Very high noise levels which doesn't help provide a relaxing atmosphere or dining experience. My omelette had good ingredients but was tasteless

avang s.

Yelp
We got the short rib and salmon Benny, both were incredibly flavorful. The French toast latte was such a sweet treat. We also got the French toast which was so yummy. The restaurant was very cute and had beautiful plants and good service!
google avatar

Nicole G.

Yelp
French toast with the lemon curd and blueberry compote was delicious! Breakfast burger was really good. Fries were so good (and I don't say that often about fries). Lattes were very tasty. Super cute place! I thought it was a food truck but was pleasantly surprised it was a restaurant. Service was speedy. Check them out!

Mitch A.

Yelp
I live in South Florida but was visiting TC and had brunch here on Memorial Day. Prior visit was about a year earlier. Wow! What a difference a year makes. This place has clearly gotten serious about being the best at what they do. This is one of the best brunches I have had in years. Omelette was perfect. Bloody Mary was creative and awesome. Pancakes were unique in flavor and "worth the calories." They were open early and service was prompt. Love this place. Clearly they are working hard and making smart decisions. Thank you so much!
google avatar

Tina D.

Yelp
Food was just okay a little different then what we are use to as we got breakfast. Service was very friendly and checked back on us often. We usually eat somewhere else but they were full so we thought we'd check this place out. Very small and cozy but they have outdoor seating also. They were on the pricey side but nothing is cheap in Traverse City we are use to paying 20-30 for breakfast and our meal was double that here.
google avatar

Wendy B.

Yelp
Can't go wrong with a breakfast sandwich! They also have meatless breakfast patties. Pretty busy when we went so be prepared to wait but worth the wait! Staff nice and friendly .

Ashley S.

Yelp
Favorite brunch spot in TC by far. Food is consistently amazing with delicious and new specials every week. The restaurant has great outdoor seating and amazing service. Will never stop coming here!

Jack A.

Yelp
Awesome breakfast spot, never fails us. Heather is a sweetheart, everyone is super friendly with no pressure. Best espresso and latte in TVC. GREAT enjoyable winter or summer spot.
google avatar

David H.

Yelp
Our experience with Archie's was top notch! Immediately greeted by the owner, Jon who quickly seated us. He made us aware that a new waitress would be helping us and he would be listening in. No problem to us. Heather was great. Very attentive , checked on us often. Food was great! The curry cauliflower app was so amazing! Must try! Everyone had different dishes and all were pleased. Well done! We will be back!
google avatar

Richard H.

Yelp
Absolutely will be back! Awesome food and excellent service gets me every time! We had the shrimp and grits and the mac n cheese, both were delicious! Also had the seafood flatbread, so good! I'm looking forward to trying everything on the menu!
google avatar

Yelp
Challah French toast and bananas foster, don't mind if I do. The ferrero choice was very tempting, too... Guava lemonade, very tasty. And, plant based sausage. Not bad. Interesting choices, all great. Service, slammed. Ambiance- nice plants. Need comfier chairs.
google avatar

J G.

Yelp
Great menu. Good selection of varying dishes. I had the short rib eggs Benedict and it was fantastic. Good vibe to boot. I'd would absolutely eat here again and if I lived in TVC, Archie's would be in the regular rotation.
google avatar

Daniel G.

Yelp
Service was excellent. $$ was very reasonable for the food we got, wife loved her smoked salmon eggs benedict.... and the breakfast sammy was huge. one bite and most of the goodies ended up up on my plate. will certainly go back next time in TC
google avatar

Katie H.

Yelp
Amazing service great drinks and delicious breakfast. Very cozy and cool vibe inside and the patio will be the perfect summer spot. Can't wait to come back!
google avatar

Ruby D.

Yelp
We liked it! it was a crazy busy Sunday morning, we were seated within 20 minutes- not bad given how small Archie's is. We were big fans of benedict, the previous restaurant. Archie's has improved upon that restaurant with a wider variety of options, even though their menu is quite limited. I got the pancakes-- out of my wheelehouse since I don't eat much bread- and they were great. Ask for the strawberries on top! We will go back and maybe try their dinners. Give it a try, be patient on the wait or go super early!
google avatar

Emily G.

Yelp
Unfortunately really disappointing breakfast. Ordered the special that was cinnamon roll french toast. It was sooo dry. There was no french toast batter in the middle at all, difficult to cut with a knife. Couldn't finish it and went home hungry. I wanted to like this place! So cute inside.
google avatar

Ben D.

Yelp
Busy trivia night! My wife had the rueben and I had a Great Grains salad. We recommend this restaurant and if we're ever in TC again we'll be back.

Yelp
Excellent service. Savory food and great atmosphere. Full bar amd nice food options between sandwiches, shrimp. Economical happy hour choices.

Yelp
We had checked this place out online prior to going. It was my husband with our baby. It had good reviews so we decided to check it out. My husband looked for a reservation option online, but couldn't find anything and their frequently asked questions section said nothing about reservations. We got there around 11:00 and while there was outdoor seating spots available and uncleared tables we were told it would be a 25 minute wait. We decided to wait and found people walking up and saying they had reservations getting seated before us. We stood outside in a shady spot holding our baby. The host moved slow as molasses (like watching paint dry) as he cleared tables and seated people. Finally we got the text that said our table was ready. We walked up and he said our table was ready then proceeded to point out a narrow wooden counter next to the host stand which had been empty the entire time and was less than ideal with a baby. We had asked for a high chair which he brought out that was filthy dirty and had no safety straps on it. Since there were still other empty tables outside (we never saw inside the restaurant) we asked if we could please be seated there. The host asked what was wrong with where we were seated and we said it was less than ideal with our situation. He said no we couldn't move tables and then walked away. Realizing we couldn't sit there (partly in the sun with an unsafe chair for our baby) we walked out. We would never have waited for a tiny wooden counter with our baby had we known he would have sat us there. Not worth the visit for the menu. We also never saw those sitting outside getting service. So who knows how long we would have waited for food.

Derek R.

Yelp
No rhyme or reason to how they seat. No apologies for long wait, while several parties are sat before us

Jaysay N.

Yelp
Amazing food, attentive service, lovely indoor and outdoor dining, great location! We've been a fan since the food truck and are so thrilled Archie's has found a home in traverse. Our group of 4 wanted to try everything but decided to share the CCB (chicken sandwich), the monte cristo, the Chico and the man burger (black bean burger), the mushroom benny, and the blintzes with bananas foster topping (for dessert, lol). Everything was perfectly cooked and wonderful. Portions were right on for the price point. We struggled to finish it all and we left with a box of leftovers that I can't wait to eat later. I'm so happy the owners have kept the food truck classics and been able to expand the menu with excellent breakfast/brunch options. We noted great vegetarian options, nice sides/add ons, and as a French fry snob- I just have to say, the fries that came with all the sandwiches were EXCELLENT and perfectly seasoned. Don't sleep on the juices either! We saw other customers enjoying pancakes and they looked amazing. Service was attentive and the staff we interacted with were all super friendly. We loved chatting with them about their food truck days! The passion they have for their food and the quality and sourcing of their ingredients is very apparent. We went on a Monday, late morning/early afternoon so no wait for table/food came out quickly for a sit down restaurant. We loved sitting outside and sipping on our drinks under an umbrella. So so happy they found this location. We can't wait to go back!

Dawn W.

Yelp
Decent food but small menu. Limited choices. We had terrible service but in fairness to them I think it was busier than they expected and they were understaffed. And so given that I think they did an okay job with what they had. It wouldn't stop me from coming back

Susan H.

Yelp
The food was fine and the staff was friendly, but there either needs to be a manager on site or someone who can give direction to staff. There was a line of people waiting to be seated and four empty tables, but there was no one to bus the tables so staff would just casually remove a few dishes as they walked by. Something easy to fix.

Jason T.

Yelp
Fantastic food and drinks! Great little spot off the beaten path. Consider yourself lucky if you stumble upon it!

Marsha W.

Yelp
We should have walked away. I had high hopes for a seemingly highly rated breakfast/brunch establishment. Our table was nabbed by another already sitting patrons. When I said, someone just took our table, the waitress aggressively answered they were waiting for it. Not cool. We decided to sit inside because I was not going to stand being served and treated like that by a waitress. Then I ordered a turtle latté. It took a very, very long time to arrive. The place wasn't packed so I couldn't understand why it would take so long. After an even longer wait, we placed our order. The meal took so very long to arrive. A classic Eggs Benedict . I ordered a $17 omelette, which stated pick 3 items, and each additional item would cost $1. I chose Swiss cheese, mushroom, pepper medley and bacon. Thinking it would cost $18, it cost $22 after we got the bill. What?! The (comes with) chopped potato with peppers and onion was cold. My friend's Benni was overcooked and the hollandaise sauce was runny and tasteless. An extra helping of hollandaise sauce was needed to choke down the dry eggs. The potatoes were also cold like mine and cost $4.00. It was taken off the bill because of our complaint. All in all an absolutely awful meal. Don't waste your time here.

Jason N.

Yelp
One of the last decadent and delightful meals you can find in town anymore from people who really care. Delicious. Get all the sandwiches. One of the best breakfasts in town (competition is fierce). Best black bean burger I've ever had and i spent years in Southern California.

Rebecca B.

Yelp
I ordered the Short Rib eggs Benedict which sounded great but turned out to be absolutely flavorless.
google avatar

Doug M.

Yelp
Best breakfast in TC. Wish Grand Rapids could enter into this same universe even slightly....Archie's did not disappoint! We miss Patisserie Amie (previously in this location) but WOW! Then again.
google avatar

Christy W.

Yelp
Sooooo good! The Mac and cheese was so good and the CCB slider was so good we went back for seconds! Highly recommend
google avatar

Ariane S.

Yelp
Gluten Free options! Get a slider without the bun. Local sustainable food! Tiny (calm down, it's a slider) but delicious Avocado & Black Bean burger w/red pepper coulis on fries (instead of a bun) w/chives & garlic. Didn't ask if the Mac & Cheese options were GF. Faygo or Bottled Water

John H.

Yelp
Unfortunately, the new brick and mortar building experience was less than terrible. From dirty silverware to terrible service, crap on the floor to a bunch of family members standing around doing nothing while the two new staffers are attempting to do it all. Will never go back, especially after tasting the food. Too bad because we all need good places with good food and good service and when you don't have any of that, it's a cloud on all the good well rounded establishments.. Some places should simply stay in a truck.. please note the place was NOT busy.

Susan M.

Yelp
Archie's catered an event held at Mammoth Distillery for Impact100TC and the food was great! We had very tasty loaded nachos and an extraordinary kale/radish coleslaw along with savory brown breadsticks and coarse ground mustard for dipping. Everything was delicious. Fresh ingredients made for a flavorful culinary experience. Thank you Archie's for sharing your scrumptious food with us!
google avatar

Kevin M.

Yelp
Great burger and kale slaw at the Workshop. Excited to try the lamb burger next time. Awesome food to go with some awesome beer. We'll be back!
google avatar

Connor A.

Yelp
Service was quick and the presentation was nice! I got a pulled pork slider and the lager mac and cheese. Had good flavor, but I've had better pulled pork. The mac was creamy and delicious.
google avatar

Stephanie G.

Yelp
There are 2 food trucks outside- one with sliders and one with skewers. Both were just okay. Sliders were a good size, but pretty bland. We got the black bean & BBQ slider. Black bleat was pretty spicy and the BBQ slider was pretty wet. You can also order for Archie's inside the building, and their food looked way better. Cool atmosphere but likely won't be back
google avatar

Ann F.

Yelp
Excellent food here! I'm so happy we stopped to eat. I highly recommend this place. Great service. I had the Cuban and my daughter had the pulled pork slider. We sat on a picnic bench right next to the truck. The workers couldn't have been more friendly. Very clean environment.
google avatar

Joshua R.

Yelp
We absolutely loved this food truck! The food was very tasty, obviously fresh, and a great value overall. Even our preschooler ate all his Mac n cheese, which is rare. My favorite was the CCB. Hope we can visit again.

Angela J.

Yelp
Liked it, food was good. Only thing is it was already somewhat cold by the time I was buzzed to get it.
