Where to find the essential Thai restaurants of Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"Family-owned mini-chain Archi’s Thai Restaurant has four locations in Las Vegas with everything down to the curry paste and chili-garlic mix made in house. Order based on spiciness from 1 to 10, and look for dishes for vegetarians, gluten-free eaters, diabetics, and other special diets. The especially creamy panang curry with tofu is a popular choice here." - Janna Karel

I went to eat at this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon at 5pm. It was not busy. The decor was cute and we didn’t wait for a table. I ordered the Thai Fried Rice (Vegan) with Tofu. I thought it was very mediocre. My guests had similar responses to their food - while we received large portions, the food needed something that was missing to make it awesome. They accommodate making the food Vegan which was great for us. The prices were very reasonable and while our service was slow and inattentive, we would like to try again with a different chef.

Google
I stopped by for lunch and was pleasantly surprised to find the place bustling with activity. As I always say, a busy restaurant is a great indicator of excellent service and food. I opted for the red curry lunch special, while my sister chose the papaya salad. Both of us gave it a perfect score of 10 out of 10. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were incredibly accommodating and kind. We also tried the mango sticky rice, which was very good, earning a solid 9 out of 10. I would definitely return to explore more of their offerings.

Google
I'm not a huge fan of Thai so we will start there. I can say the menu seems pretty typical and the service the same. I LOVED the crispy shrimp rolls and everything else met expectations. The ambiance and decor are nice if not a bit disjointed. I liked it, didn't love it but it is certainly worth a try for anyone who enjoys Thai food.

Google
Food is great and the price is fair. We love the catfish delight and pork pak prik king. The meats are tender but a little too salty on the sauces though

Google
Restaurant that offers Thai food with alcohol and has a bar. Ordered a veggie soup, chicken pad see ew, pad woon sen, rad nar and fried rice which cost USD 85.35. Do note that food comes with a huge portion so I recommend sharing one mains between two to three pax. Restaurant allows take aways if you are unable to finish them.

Google
I had a DoorDash delivery for Kung Pao Chicken today, and in the notes, asked to not burn the onions or peanuts. The chicken and the peanuts were burned (see attached photos). I called the restaurant, and they said they would give me another Kung Pao Chicken if I came in person. The reason I ordered delivery is because I'm not able to get there. Then the guy at the store said he was sorry they couldn't meet my standards. I asked if their standards were to have burned peanuts, and he said that wasn't their standard. So, I told him they're failing to meet their own standards. I guess I'll be contacting DoorDash about this with photos to document.

Google
Very good find and experience. Clean but a bit bland but good sign with many locals there including Thai Service was good keeping on top of water without asking. Food was wonderful, tom kha soup, Mongolian beef and yellow curry all excellent although we ordered the curry mild and it was quite spicy according to my friend, I like spicy food and think hot would have blown my head off But to be well recommended and will be back next trip

Google
Great Thai spot! Haven’t been here in years. Tastes different from my usual Thai spot closer to me, they must be from a different region of Thailand, and it’s great to taste their different variations. Thai tea was on point. Server was great.

Yelp
Archi's is the go-to for Thai food in SW Las Vegas. The service is efficient whether I decide to pick-up or dine-in. Their restaurant is hygienic and I feel a warm welcome every visit. My favorite dishes are the Fresh Spring Rolls, Pad Se Ew, (THE best in Vegas), Tofu Soup, Pineapple Fried Rice, Masamam Curry, and the Sweet Sticky Rice with Ice Cream. Archi's checks all of the boxes. Their consistency across the board is chef's kiss. To be honest, I have been a loyal customer since I first ordered their amazinggg Thai Iced Tea in 2016. If you have read this far, run, don't walk.

Yelp
I ordered the lunch special online, which came with an egg roll and a fried wonton. I also added tofu to my order which was a couple dollars more. Pickup was quick and easy. The inside of Archi's is clean and has a nice atmosphere. My order was ready when I arrived and the guy at the front made sure I had my egg roll and wonton. The special had a lot of food! It was heavy and there was a lot of tofu and noodles. It tasted really good and was well worth the price. I love Thai food, so I'll definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

Yelp
This was my boyfriends go to spot for thai food when he lived there, so I was excited to finally try it. I was craving noodles & I knew my friend was gonna get the pad kee mao, so I went for the pad thai, so we could try each others. They let you choose the spice level & I went with 6. Hopefully I didn't go too high, I always get nervous with that stuff. Haha. The servings are huge as it's meant for sharing. The pad thai was really tasty & I picked the perfect spice level for me. The atmosphere felt very homey in there, I liked it. Service was great. We ended up taking the rest of that pad that back to the hotel with us & had it as a midnight snack. Yum.

Yelp
I used to love this Thai place but the most recent time just wasn't as good. Pad thai and pad see ew were bland and meat was tough. I was excited for the pineapple fried rice but it had a spice in it that was so overpowering I could only eat a few bites. I ended up ordering a lot and had multiple meals out of the dishes so that was a good thing. It came out to cost a lot but I might try a different Thai restaurant next time. I remember it used to be really good here but maybe it was just not a good day for them.

Yelp
Great portion sizes, only gripe is I wished they served traditional spring rolls. Service was great as well.

Yelp
Heard about Archi's at my husband's potluck at work when someone brought in the Thai basil fried rice and said it was really good. So we tried it when we were near one yesterday. The restaurant it self was very nice not too busy on a Sunday lunch, customer service was on point they were attentive. Menu prices were a little on the pricier side since it's extra for what protein you choose. Food came out pretty quick, we got all our food on level 8 spice and yes the spice was definitely there. Tom Kha tasted a little different compared to other restaurants we went to but still good, fried rice was my favorite for sure and the curry was just ok it wasn't as good as the one we get at our favorite Thai place. Portions are ok for the price. I would try it this place again if I'm near the area, spent $60+ for me and my husband and had leftovers to take home.
google avatar

Yelp
They have amazing food here! The portions are huge and last for multiple meals. My go to here is their pad Thai for sure but I have tried many other dishes. The pineapple fried rice is great too! Their Thai tea is very flavorful. Ambience is great and they always have a crowd. Very loved local business.

Yelp
We were nearby and wanted Thai food. First time here and although it was empty at 5:30pm, there were a few to-go pick up orders. We entered, it was larger than we thought Quite clean. Quick service. We were given menus and ice water was served. On the tables/booths, plates and silverware already provided. We ordered 2 entrees and both came out fairly quickly. And both were very good. Flavorful and delicious - drunken noodles (large portion) and Penang with chicken and rice (large portion). The 2 of us shared both dishes and still had to take both home as we could not finish. Stuffed and had about half of each dish to take home. Really enjoyed the dinner tonight. We will definitely come back for other dishes to try.

Yelp
Been a while since we had a bite at Archi's. What a great spot that seems to be popping up at different spots all over the city. This was my first time at this location. We showed up around 8:30 on a Monday and our big party was accommodated after a 10 minute wait. We kept it simple this time so as not to make it complicated but we still had to try some things. Started off with a coke for myself (Coke products!!!) and started off with the Beef Jerky appetizer. I was satisfied with the portion and the flavors were out of this world. For my girlfriend, she went with the Pad Thai with combination meat and damn I was impressed. There was a ton of meat and the portion was amazing. We couldn't even finish it. I went with the Pad See Ew and this one is the savory one with the Pad Thai more sweet. Right up my alley. Out of the two I think mine (Pad See Ew) was the best for sure but I ate a lot of hers as well. Lots of flavors to go around here and we enjoyed everything. The service was decent but it was pretty close to their closing time so they were trying to get us out of there. I'm sure I'll be back to Archi's sometime soon! Great vibes and great food.

Yelp
Arichis is always one of our favorite Thai restaurants! Nobody beets their beef salad. We go at least once a week !

Yelp
*TAKE OUT REVIEW* The food was honestly not bad. But being in Vegas, there are many other competitions that are more authentic. Basil chicken: not bad. A bit watery Green curry: got a spice level 8/10 but was still not spicy. The coconut milk outweighs the curry paste. But was a lot of chicken in there. Thai iced tea: super sweet. Won't recommend.

Yelp
This is a popular place during lunch. Nearly every table was full, and the place was buzzing with conversation. I came with four coworkers, and there were others from our work there too. Service was attentive. It took extra time before all of us were served our orders, but understandable given that it was during a peak time. From the Lunch Special menu, I enjoyed the Ginger Ginger Ginger with Tofu and Brown Rice Substitution, at a spice level of six. Since I am vegan, another person in our group is vegetarian, and the soup of the day had chicken, we were able to persuade our server to give us a pair of Thai Egg Rolls instead. One of my coworkers had the Pad Thai lunch special, which was a surprisingly generous portion. I was one of the two in our group who finished the entire meal. The other three got full and took the rest home for leftovers. The food was very delicious and reasonably priced. I look forward to returning. They honored our request for separate checks. Gratuity was automatically added--so be careful not to double tip.

Yelp
Our meal started off with the chicken satay and was delicious. For our mains, we split the beef noodle soup, curry shrimp, tofu pad thai, and pork kaprow. The only one I would not recommend is the beef noodle soup. The others were fantastic. Maybe a little more tofu wouldn't hurt in the pad thai. The beef noodle soup came with plenty of meat but just lacked flavor. -Good service -Thai tea was on point; I like the ice they use

Yelp
It's been a minute since I've been here and the place had changed. Yes, it's been that long! The restaurant looks bigger and fancier. The server we had was great. He was very friendly and efficient. Ordered the usual, fried rice, panang curry and pad see ew. I order that at every restaurant I go. As for this place, everything was very delicious and served hot. Had to ask for the chili spice tray...idk why they (or any restaurant) just make it easy and have it on all the tables. But overall, I missed this place and can't believe I haven't been back here in so long! Will definitely come back again soon.

Yelp
I like Archi's Been there quite a few times food is good and enjoyable Prices are definitely higher than a lotta other Thai restaurants around And I don't think it justifies the tasting of the food Anyhow I've got my very favorite spots to go Archie is a nice large restaurant lots of seating and the menu is extensive They also have a full bar at the Rainbow location which is really nice The flamingo location is very chill and cozy The service is always spot on they know what they're doing I just don't like how much more expensive they are compared to some other similar restaurants around. Still a solid spot tho
google avatar

Angela S.

Yelp
This was my first time here. Unfortunately I have to say that I was a bit disappointed of the place. It looks old and dirty. It wasn't dirty per say but that how it felt. There was a bug flying around my table while eating :-( No complaints about the service. They did their job. Aside from all that, food was delicious and at lot. I will say you'll be safe if you share a plate. I hope the owner does a bit more to make the place looks cleaner and updated.

Yelp
Had a craving for Thai Food and Archi's is my safe place since I've been going here now for almost 20 years. Stopped in after an appointment on Saturday and had some veggie egg rolls, tofu fried rice (level 3) and some red wine. Definitely delicious! The service was top notch, I didn't catch my waiters name but he was extremely attentive and quick service. The restaurant is always so clean and well put together. I feel like I'm on vacation with the nice plantation shutters. Looking forward to returning soon!

Yelp
Pad Thai Lunch Special - I ordered a level 6 in terms of spicy and it looked a lot more daunting than it was. I was hoping it was a big spicier, I was a little disappointed. The fried wonton is just a wonton no filling or anything else. The egg roll is veggie and it's delicious! The egg roll and wonton came with a sauce but we didn't try it. Honestly the pad Thai was lacking a bit of flavor, I was hoping for more. Our food took about 15 minutes to prepare since we went around lunch time (1 pm). They have a separate line for take out and dine in. I noticed most people ordered by phone to pick up quickly. The restaurant was relatively quiet but busy. TLDR; lunch deal is a good price but food is okay. Would stop here if in the area but not sure if I'd go out of my way. Service was nice and quick!
google avatar

Kara L.

Yelp
We order from here all the time. Very good curries and spicy eggplant. Food is always hot and very consistent
google avatar

Yelp
Always consistent and delicious with good size portions and great service. One of my favorite Thai restaurants in the local Vegas area. They have a great lunch special and you can customize it. Come check them out, you will enjoy the atmosphere as well. Clean restaurant as well! Pictured below is a kung pao chicken lunch special.

Yelp
This review is for a takeout/delivery order. We ordered chicken panang curry, shrimp pad thai, chicken satay and combination fried rice. Panang curry was good. Sweeter than i prefer but it was still pretty good. Shrimp pad thai did not come with sauce and only 4 pieces of shrimp. Instead of chicken satay, we got what looked like fish cakes but they were made of chicken. It tasted great, just not what we ordered. Combination fried rice was awesome. And we got this other dish that I didn't order. It was ground beef with veggies in a stir fry sauce. I had these delivered for the kids while the bf and i were out on our date night so i didn't see the food until much later. It was too late to get our order corrected.

Mimi Q.

Yelp
It used to be good foods and services, but the last few times we were there the foods were horrible. When we complained, I over heard the servers on the back was laughing and making fun of our complaints. I guess they don't really need customers. Our last time for this Thai place and I stop recommending to others, instead letting others know not to go there anymore. Their excellency went down.

Fernando G.

Yelp
Celebrated my wife's birthday there on 11 May with about 40 guests. We pre-ordered 3 appetizers (10 orders each) & 7 entres ( 6 orders each )- and variety of drinks for everyone. They allowed us to bring a couple of birthday cakes & dessert. The food portions were very generous - enough leftovers for guests to take home! All were brought out hot & delicious! Everything went well & my wife thoroughly enjoyed her birthday celebration- made special by Archi's staff. I Highly recommend Archi's for your next party or/& for just having a nice lunch or dinner with friends/family. Good vibes - delicious food.

Annie W.

Yelp
This place is our family go-to whenever we're in town. Local Thai restaurant with impeccable flavor, decent pricing, and good portions! Pad see ew, pad Thai, pineapple fried rice, panang curry, Tom yum soup, and Thai pasta was delicious!
google avatar

Jin N.

Yelp
This is one of my fave Thai places right now. It's all for their SILVER NOODLE SALAD. They call it a "salad" but it's basically a thin vermicelli noodle dish with larb plus shrimp and some tripe. The tripe might throw some people off but I love this dish for the lime and spice flavor. I've had several other items as well and all have been quite good. Silver noodle salad- 4/5 Pad see ew- 4/5 Shrimp cake- 3/5 Pad Thai- 3/5 Beef noodles soup- 3/5 This might be a good place for vegetarians since you have to pay extra for any type of meat including chicken and pork.

Parinya N.

Yelp
One of the best Thai food in Las Vegas..! spice starts from 1-10. I had fried crispy Wonton and Yen-Ta- four was amazing...!Staff very friendly helpful and knowledgeable...!Thank you again Ashlynn you were amazing. Will be back again soon

Deborah V.

Yelp
This the best THAI Food in Las Vegas. I've never eaten a chicken satay like this restaurant prepares! OMG! It is the most incredible chicken dish! I always order through DOOR DASH but look forward to someday eating inside their restaurant. Archi's Thai Bistro is a an absolute MUST! It will not disappoint!!! My name is Deborah Von Brod and I approve this message :)
google avatar

Syeda Sania A.

Yelp
This is the perfect Thai food I've had in my life. My most favourite dish is Panang gravy with jasmine rice. It has the right amount of flavour & crunch. Second favourite was Pad Kea Mow, totally different from the other two.I found Pineapple rice a bit bland but the cashews added that extra flavour. I also tried a few more dishes the second time I went but couldn't take a picture. Pad Thai with egg is another great dish. Catfish gravy was just fine. I tried their famous Thai tea, honestly the sweetness could've been on the lighter side. I loved the fact that spice levels can be controlled, I went with spice level 3. I don't mind going one more level up the next time ;) The service was good and didn't take long. And it has a very cool ambience with good crowd.
google avatar

Julianne T.

Yelp
I used to go to Archi's a lot a few years ago, but since so many other Thai places opened up- I haven't been back in a while. Sadly, I probably won't be going back as it's become my least favorite Thai place now Ordered my usual Thai food order- Pad Thai, and it was lacking flavor and also a little dry. I also ordered it as a 6 out of 10 on the spice level, and it had no spice. Crispy fried wontons we're good, and the fried rice was okay. The sticky rice with coconut ice cream was very good. Service was fine, and the place was clean.
google avatar

Brandi M.

Yelp
We ordered pad thai x2, one chicken (spice level 1), one beef (spice level 3, not spicy at all) and one thai tea $40+, to go. We didn't get a pic of the food, I would say its a good quantity as one order fed 3. I would go back and have a dine in experience.
google avatar

Tiffany S.

Yelp
The food was a mouth watering delight. Service was great and the food came out quickly. I came here for lunch and was blown away by the presentation as well as the quality of the food. The lunch special was very affordable and came with soup, an egg roll, and a fried wonton. They even had flowers on the plate! I loved this place so much, I'd recommend this to anyone!
google avatar

Jay G.

Yelp
would rate 0 stars if possible, found a small piece of broken glass in my thai tea. unfortunately i found this more than halfway thru my drink, im unsure if ive swallowed even smaller pieces at this point. went right up my straw and hit a tooth in the back. terrible, never going back!
google avatar

Rachel M.

Yelp
This restaurant is so amazing! The food is absolutely delicious and the staff was very honest and friendly when we were ordering. I enjoyed the set up of the place and I love that they have blinds over the windows so you don't get too hot. I would recommend trying the Thai macaroni... I didn't think it would be good... but it turned out to be my favorite dish!
google avatar

Yelp
Archi's Thai restaurant holds a special place in our family traditions, spanning 15 years of celebrations and milestones. While it might not boast the glamour of some renowned Thai spots, like Lotus of Siam or Weera Thai, the consistent excellence of every dish keeps us loyal. With four locations in Las Vegas, each visit reaffirms the high standard they maintain across the menu. Despite the relatively higher prices, Archi's is where we turn when we crave authentic Thai flavors. Standout dishes like Tom Kha soup, beef salad, Panang curry, Pad Thai, and Pad See Ew consistently deliver a satisfying Thai culinary experience.
google avatar

Ian M.

Yelp
Great restaurant for a quick easy late evening meal. We wanted something flavorful and easy after a long day. We ordered the yen ta fo #7 spicy and although not super hot, it had great flavor!! Thai spicy fried rice and green curry for mains to share. Would definitely come back here for a quick, easy going neighborhood vibes kind of meal.

Yelp
While visiting Vegas, I was recommended this place by local people for great Thai food. The store is not located in China Town, or any where around the Strip and downtown area. It was about 2 miles away from China Town. I've been to some awesome Thai's restaurant in the Bay Area so my expectation for this place is really high. Fortunately, I was not disappointed. We ordered pad see ew, yellow curry with rice and pad thai. My choice was pad see ew and it was super delicious. I love their thin flat noodles, they are much silkier and thinner than other Thai's place Pad See Ew. Portion is huge with tons of meat. I hardly finished my plate. Their yellow curry was good too, but it was a bit salty to me. My mom could not finish the soup either, so she had to pick only meat and veggies and left the soup. My sister loved their pad thai, the noodles were also thinner than other Thai's places we've been to. Overall, I love their food and service. Servers were super friendly and attentive to our request. Our cups of water never went lower than half thanks to their constantly refill.
google avatar

Diep N.

Yelp
I ordered DoorDash. Food was pretty good! I knocked down 1 stars because it is very pricey and they barely give you any food. I definitely think the portions could be bigger and that's coming from a small 5'2 girl that barely eats. LOL. I kinda of expected the high price since it is in Vegas but I tried other places and I think it was more worth it. I can't say much about the service or ambiance since I ordered DoorDash so this is just solely on the food and portions.
google avatar

Luis C.

Yelp
We were the only ones in restaurant so can't really talk about service and ambiance, Food was good wish the pad Thai had more noodles but other then that it was good
google avatar

Geo V.

Yelp
Excellent restaurant in every respect. I've been a loyal customer for years. This review is based on many, many visits. Service is always outstanding. Pleasant staff that knows the menu and treats every customer with respect. Food is consistently excellent. I've tried pretty much everything on the menu and it's all good. Vegetarian alternatives for most dishes too. Ambiance is fantastic especially since they expanded. Parking in front can be tight sometimes so use the rear lot. Highly recommend this place! Give it a shot, especially for lunch. The specials are a good size meal, tasty, and quick.
google avatar

Kristine N.

Yelp
Nice little Thai restaurant with super nice people working there. It was busy on a Friday night and the food took a while, but my friends and I didn't notice since we were talking. When it did come it was really good and the portions were massive!!! My chicken pad Thai could easily be for 3 meals I'll be back again

Olga S.

Yelp
The food is not the same as it was 10 years ago. It was my favorite Thai food.. unfortunately it's untasted and not good now. Really miss my Archi Thai dishes!
google avatar

Stephanie F.

Yelp
My go-to westside spot for pad kee mow! Their thai iced coffee is also delicious and I even get it for dinner!

Cheynna C.

Yelp
I have only went one time - but the garlic beef thai style is to dieeeee for! I will be back over and over for this! How did I go my whole life without it - I do not know but me and my child are hooked- I would include a picture, but we ate it before that happened so the picture would be less than

Deanna N.

Yelp
I've been to so many different Thai locations and I'm always drawn back to Archi's. I always start every meal with their Thai iced tea. It's SO good. They always have great service while you even dine in or do take out. They recently remodeled within the last 3 years, so it's pleasantly nice and up to date. They have a lunch special that you can't go wrong with. Lunch would come for less than $16 for soup, salad, fried wontons and an egg roll in addition to your entree. They have a spice level 1-10. You can share plates or make it family style. There's a bar section as well. You can get anything from A-Z, drinks, appetizers, soup, dessert, etc.

Lily R.

Yelp
Great food! We typically go to the Sahara location. Always clean and fast service. Highly recommend:)
google avatar

Stela T.

Yelp
The beef pad see ew and pad Thai were very good. It's just the pad Thai needs more peanuts and bean sprouts. The seafood pancake was a great disappointment. Inside wasn't cooked well and outside wasn't crispy enough.
google avatar

Sarah W.

Yelp
Love Archi's!! Wish there were more locations! Would love to have one in Henderson. Yellow curry is delicious.
google avatar

Mario S.

Yelp
Love Archie's when I'm craving Thai and don't feel like making it myself. I usually get the Panang curry and Kung Pao chicken here at level 6 spice for both. Very consistent. On the pricey side, but it's conveniently located for me and they are always quick and friendly. I've never sat and ate here, but it's a pretty nice with the decor and would make a nice dining in option.
google avatar

Linh H.

Yelp
I enjoy eating papaya salad and pad see ew... It's good portion and most of importantly the right amount of sauce that was used to prepare them... Papaya salad with shrimp added And the pad see ew with chicken and shrimp.

Yelp
As a Cambodian, this Thai place is delicious! We've tried a plethora of different foods there and I gotta say, it's pretty good . Definitely time this place a try!
