Super fun!!! We did Bonnie & Clyde room. Our guide master was friendly, and helpful guiding us. They made the final clue personal, which took us by surprise and it was very unique and cool. Went (5) of us and we all had a great time escaping the room together. Highly recommended!

My group and I escaped from Houdini’s Hideout! It was a great escape, required teamwork and thinking outside the box! The Architect Team set this up for our birthday guest and they were great, highly recommend!

This was my second time doing an escape room. My group did the Tesla room. We escaped! Overall I would have to say the service was pretty good. My group unknown we arrive tardy and the attendee made the schedule work for us. The room was fairly tiny… But what is it in LA, but it was done cleverly. And I I would have to say everyone in the group enjoyed themselves and came out with a smile. If you’ve never done an escape room or even if you have, I would say this place would be worth checking out.

It was so much fun! My friends and I did the Tesla challenge and it was challenging lol. But we made it with time to spare! The whole place was well decorated. We were able to find clues in every part of the space (two rooms and a hallway). Everything fit the theme, was interactive, and all used for the clues. One of the rooms was so pretty and sparkly hehe. Our Gamemaster, Gabi, was amazing! She gave us the rules, guided us when we asked for help, and made sure we had fun and stayed safe! She took our pictures as well:) Its best to arrive early, like 5-10min. That way you get the rules out the way! Depends on which challenge you choose, since we chose Tesla, we got a full hour to find clues and beat the game. Don't use force for anything, if its meant to open/come off/move, then it will. Make sure to lower your voice when approaching the door since other games are in session. Theres a timer so you know how much time is left. There are cameras monitoring your activity, so the game goes well and we stay safe. My group paid $39 each for the game! Theres parking in the front. They have a restroom and water if you need:) You get to take photos after!

An amazing and fun experience at this escape room location. We did the Orient Express where you have to solve a murder and escape the train. The employees were very nice and into the role when they had to explain the rules and theme.

We recently did the Tesla's Secret room with a larger group of 8. While we enjoyed the experience, I would consider it below the average of escape rooms I've done in the LA area. Positive: - Easy booking process through website. - Plenty of street-side (metered) parking nearby. - Fun theme with a couple creative puzzles. Not-so-positive: - The game master seemed stressed. We had some delays getting into the room, and the introduction was rattled off. Some of the rules were also (somewhat aggressively) repeated across the verbal intro, room intro video, and signs in the room. - Sound from a group in an adjacent escape room kept penetrating the walls, which was both distracting and broke the immersion. - The puzzles weren't very well distributed in the available space. We were a larger group and most of us ended up standing on top of each other. - Due to some confusing sequencing/layout involving a door, we solved the final part of the room in a way that was not intended. Overall, enjoyable room with some production quality gaps. It's probably a better room for a smaller group (around 3-4). It was not worth the price per person for our larger group.

Went for Daughters 12th birthday with 5 friends, Bonnie and Clyde room totally appropriate for the age group. Little stressful trying not to help them figure it out

Fantastic Escape rooms! It's a great place that feels a little hidden, but their escape rooms are well made and a lot of fun! I've done two of the rooms, one with 3 people and one with 7 and it worked out great with either size! The staff is also fantastic. I highly recommend this place, one of the best escape rooms in LA!

We're two rooms in at Architect and enjoyed both a great deal! The puzzles were well designed and thought out both times. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Attended a bday party there - big back area had plenty of room for our host to bring in food + drinks. We had so much fun! It was my first escape room experience and I didn't know if I would like it, but I'm happy to say that I LOVED it and that all the group members had a great time. The way the puzzles are structured, everyone has an opportunity to help. These rooms were definitely hard and we really did need the clue nudges to finish on time. I think our game master's name was Ashley but she was fantastic; all of the staff were really nice and friendly and helpful. We had an amazing time and I definitely love escape rooms now.

Had an amazing time with our team building event at Architect Escape Rooms! Definitely a great way to interact with others doing activities while getting to know your counterparts. We also enjoyed the back lounge area and had lunch delivered. Rooms were dimmed and sometimes difficult clues to figure out. Only setback was hard to contact business as they do not respond or pick up phone. Parking is street meter or free lot behind business which we did. Walked about 3-5 minutes to venue. We had the place to ourselves 10am to 1pm since we had 50 staff join in games.

My best friend and I did Bonnie and Clyde's Great Getaway. We escaped with 9 minutes to spare. We loved the room set up and all the puzzles. We're grandma's and love doing escape rooms. Shania, our game master, was wonderful from the moment we arrived. She was friendly, explained everything well and you could tell, really loved her job. She responded right away to our need for hints with just the right promptings. She was enthusiastic and made the experience a lot of fun! Can't wait to try another room! You will not be disappointed!

Took my daughter there for her birthday with several of her friends (10-11 y.o.). Shania was great with the girls. During the hour we were there, if Shania could tell that the girls were struggling with the puzzles she would offer a little hint or clue to help them along -- she was totally on top of it. We did the Orient Express room -- lots of puzzles, just challenging enough. A little tough for 11 year olds, but with an adult present, totally doable. Great experience.

For Memorial Day my family decided to do an escape room, this was my first one and I have to say this was probably the best one to start out on. Our GM Bethany was wonderful, informative and funny. We did the Orient Express but have already agreed that we will have to come back and do another one. Absolutely recommend! Only real sort of down side? It's street parking so be sure you arrive with some extra time to find a spot.

Made a last minute reservation for the Orient Express escape room. It was great! Very challenging, but not so challenging that you couldn't figure it out. Our two kids really enjoyed themselves. We did it as a family activity and we all enjoyed the game. Staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. The place was clean and the escape room had a cool ambience.

The rooms feel like classics. Lots of puzzles and locks to open. I like the old school feel of escape rooms vs the tech-heavy ones. Something about opening locks and solving puzzles makes you feel more accomplished.

I love this place. Did our first escape room (me and the hubs did each room together) in 2020 during the Pandemic. I was so glad they could remain open. Came back in 2022 and did another, then another in 2023 and our final room in 2024. Rooms are well-thought out, hosts are always kind and courteous. Someday I hope to see the new rooms they are working on because they are so fun and not scary...more like playing a cool sleuthing game.

I've done 2 rooms here and have had a fantastic experience both times. Each time we had Alissa as our game master and she was the highlight of the experience. Always attentive and willing to help while also still making us feel like we were solving the puzzles! Would recommend!

The room was really fun! Good set! Game coordinators were friendly and helpful! The storyline was creative!

As a competitive person for escape rooms I was disappointed the first lock of the puzzle was unlocked. They messed up forgetting to lock it. This game requires you to focus on time management and finishing in under an hour. I wish that I could have had the full correct experience with that one puzzle being properly locked rather than open making it easy to unsolve the first clue. The time it took me to coordinate this event was difficult. I called several times and it seemed like no one would pick up the phone.

I took my 17 year old kid and a few friends for her birthday. They require a person over 18 in the room and the room is really tiny so I had to try to continually move around the room since I was always in the way and it was super uncomfortable. The room was fun, Orient Express, they had a good time and made it out with seconds to spare.

We've been there twice in different rooms and had a blast both times. This is what the grandkids like, doing nowadays for their birthdays

The clues were hard enough to keep us challenged but working together really is the key to success. Everyone's ideas were valued and each of us solved a different part of the game. We made a great team and had a lot of fun.

Amazing themes and really thoughtful puzzles. The support staff is also very friendly. Will definitely come back.

Super fun! My friends and I did the Tesla Escape Room. It was challenging (but we made it!) The decor, music, room, everything was so nice. We were able to find clues in all rooms and the hallway. Immediate first impression was the excellent customer service from beginning to end. We were greeted with enthusiasm, offered water and given detailed instructions. Puzzles were challenging. Our group did the Orient Express and we def plan on coming back to do the Bonnie & Clyde. But the one thing that was most memorable was the customer service. We went on a Thursday night and I only wished we got his name to give him credit for how awesome he was. He made us feel welcomed and comfortable right away.

Bonnie and Clyde was perfect! Very clever and fun! A great hour's entertainment for the whole family! Bean was very charming and helpful. Two thumbs up!

We had a great time with our kids at Architect Escape Rooms. We did the Houdini room, which was rich with detail and involved several types of puzzles and locks. Alissa was a very helpful and responsive host. We will be going back soon!

For my girls 13th bday we did Bonnie & Clyde....my fave out of the ones we've done so far. My other daughter and I put our CSI & Criminal Minds brains together to figure out some of the clues. It was awesome! the lady Shania was training was great - she was a natural because we totally didn't know she was training. My family and I are lookign forward to next years adventure at Houdini!

Leah, our game master was by far the best I've had, and I've done multiple escape rooms! We're definitely coming back here and hope we get her again!

We went twice to this location, first time last summer and now almost a year later. It was me and kids. They had a blast. First we did Bonny and Claide and today Oriented express . The rooms are different however both of them the main part is to look for keys or code numbers to unlock multiple lockers. Both time we managed to escape with enormous help from game master. Thank you guys, for a fun game

The escape rooms here are fun, inquisitive, and diverse. Reserve in advance whether it's a date night or a group night - I wouldn't try to walk in, though you can call to ask if that's something they can accommodate. Quality-wise, I'd give the room I tried out a solid B+. I've been to places where things looked a bit fresher and cleaner, all-around, but my group definitely had a lot of fun. We also got to take a cute pic afterward. And, yes, we managed to escape in time! Expect a few puzzles and games that will demand outside-of-the-box thinking. Like other places, each room typically takes 30 minutes to an hour - depending how quickly you get through approximately ~8-12 little activities. Unlike other facilities, though, this venue doesn't offer lockers for personal use, so you'll need to bring your bags and sweaters and whatever else you came with in to the room with you. It made things a bit inconvenient at times, as you have to pay attention to the small details in the room to find clues and having your stuff on top of things may become an issue. Parking-wise, you're looking at metered street parking. Be mindful of the neighborhood, especially you tourists out there. And have fun!

Did the Houdini escape room and had so much fun! Alissa was great and entertaining with her clues. She made the escape room a lot of fun! The room was challenging but my group was able to finish just in time. I would definitely come back again!

My family and I booked the Orient Express room for my cousin's birthday. It was a fantastic experience! Great atmosphere, clever puzzles -- challenging, but not frustrating. (I've also escaped from the Tesla and Houdini rooms in the past. Both equally awesome!) Our game master Shania was super friendly and helpful. We asked for a hint once, but apparently we were very close to figuring out the next puzzle on our own, so she didn't tell us the hint right away and offered some encouragement instead. We were able to solve the next step on our own after all! Such a fun group of experience. Highly recommend!

Such a fun experience! Our game master was Alissa, and she was so wonderful to our group! The escape room was the right amount of challenge for us, and Alissa was ready to assist us whenever we requested it! Would definitely come again and try the other rooms!

First time doing an escape room. It was fun! Kids ages 5-10 and the adults enjoyed. It wasn't easy, and lots to do in there! Clever & definitely gets you brainstorming.

I can't recommend this activity enough! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly staff member who made us feel welcome and excited about the adventure ahead. The experience was incredibly well-organized and engaging, making it the perfect activity for our family. The puzzle was challenging yet fun, and we had a great time working together as a group to decipher the clues. This escape room is a must-try for anyone looking for a family or group activity. We spent our post-meal conversation discussing strategies and clues we missed. I had an absolute blast and would do it again!

Hands down one of the better escape rooms I've been to. It was my second time here but the first time for my group, and we all loved it. Upon arrival we were greeted by Gabi, who was awesome. She made us feel more than welcome and talked with us for a good 10 minutes about escape rooms, our experiences with them, and making the entire transition from check in to being locked in the room a fun one. Gabi handed us off to our game master, Leigha. Leigha was equally as awesome, making the experience of escaping the room really enjoyable by not spoon feeding us hints when we caved in and asked for a few of them, but making them like mini puzzles in and of themselves. It's something I've never really had a GM do before, and my group and I loved it! We did Tesla's Secret and genuinely enjoyed every second of it. The rooms (I've done Orient Express a now Tesla) are all really well thought out and challenging enough to prove difficult, but not so much so that you feel hopelessly stumped. That, to me, is a sign of quality room design. There are just enough breadcrumbs there to get you out in time, you just have to keep your eyes open. Can't wait to try out the other rooms and can't recommend this place highly enough! We look forward to going back.

This was our first time doing an escape room; my girlfriend got the experience for me as my birthday gift, and got recommendations from friends who have done various escape rooms in the area. It was such a great first time experience! We did Tesla's Secret, which is supposed to be one of the more challenging ones. Shania did a great job of only providing clues when needed and just nudging us in the right direction. I think we needed 3-4 clues when we got stuck, and we escaped with 5 minutes to spare. The puzzles were thoughtful and it was fun solving them. I'm telling all of my friends about this experience and recommending it to them as well! We definitely want to come back to try another room.

Great time. It was my first escape room and the experience was wonderful. The staff were great and giving us clues if we needed them. Alyssa and Bethany were accommodating and we truly had a wonderful time!!!

Out of the four rooms they currently have, I've done houdinis hideout & teslas secret. Both of these rooms are fairly advanced and very interactive. Houdinis hideout is like a 1st generation escape room while Teslas secret is a 1st, leaning to 2nd generation escape room. (Generations = how advanced in technology the rooms are) They are currently in the process of adding two new rooms which I am excited to try out. The hosts here are very friendly and are very patient if you do come late to your reservations. The stories are interesting and I had a great experience with my friends when completing these escape rooms.

what a fun spot! we came for the Bonnie and Clyde room at 930pm on Friday and had so much fun! I try to do new escape rooms monthly and I must say this one tricked me (we still escaped!!!). Our helper was amazing from start to finish. We were laughing and enjoying ourselves during the hour we had to escape. I'll absolutely be going back to try a harder room to see if we can get out. For the price point and the quality of the rooms, it's a 10/10 for me!!

Fabulous experience! My 6 and 8 year olds loved it!! We needed several hints but were able to escape. Highly recommend Bonnie and Clyde and Jocelyn (game master)!

First time. Had a blast. Harder than we imagined. Sara, our game master, rocked! Lots of patience. Made it very fun.

My family, my partner, and I had so much here! It was personally my first time doing an escape room and we chose to do the Houdini room. And we escaped with literally 1 second to spare! Lol. Our gamemaster--I believe her name was Bethany--was great. Very funny and helpful when we needed it. Parking is metered on Reseda (but I believe free after 8). The location is very cool looking--a little vintagey-industrial sort of vibe. We had 4 people and it was $39 for each of us, which I thought was fair. One caveat though if you're claustrophobic, this may not be for you. I am not but my partner is and she did begin to feel a little anxious towards the end. Not horrible and did not ruin her experience but just a warning for those who are extremely claustrophobic. But overall, we had a great time and we left wanting to come back and try some of the other rooms.

We did the Orient Express first and loved it. We then went to dinner and decided to come back to do Tesla. Tesla is challenging and you have to be willing to ask for a few hints when you get stuck. We had an amazing time. I loved talking to the staff. Be at least 15 minutes early. It takes time to find and pay for parking, then walking to the location.

Our escape group made our first visit to Architect Escape Rooms on Saturday and it was a great experience. One of if not the best escape rooms we've visited so far! We like to do a few rooms if we travel out of town so we opted to do Tesla's Secret, Orient Express and Bonny and Clyde rooms. All 3 rooms were fantastic, the atmosphere was great, very well decorated, creative and unique puzzles/setups. We really had a great time, we escaped all 3 rooms and were talking about how much we enjoyed them all the way home. The cherry on top was our game master Bethany. She was hands down the best GM we've had at any escape room. She was super personable, friendly, had us laughing at times. Very thorough with her explanation of the rooms/rules and she was right there to help us any time we asked during the rooms. Overall a fantastic experience and I highly recommend anyone that loves escape rooms or wants to try something new go give them a try.

I've been to two Architect Escape Room adventures and they've both been very fun. It's been easy to set up reservations, and I do recommend making one because they fill up! The rooms are clean and the puzzles are engaging and just challenging enough to be able to solve them and not reach a massive frustration point. Hints are only given if you ask for them and it seems they give them at whatever level you need. Meaning, if your group is more advanced, you'll get a hint that fits at that level. If your group is struggling, the hint will really help you out. The stories that go with the rooms are fun and interesting and the decor of the rooms adds to the stories. We'll be coming back here.

My siblings and I loved Architect! The room was super tricky but luckily we were able to get some helpful hints via walkie talkie. The room itself was also ornately decorated and we would definitely come back to try the others!

As a first time 'escaper' I appreciated the assistance from the director. With 5 of us, (only two with prior experience) with various puzzling skills and good-natured disagreements (our normal dynamic) we managed to solve (though at the last minute). A lot of locks and keys, clever coded writings, surprising mechanics, and really great decor and 'clues' made for a fabulous and fun time. I'd say though that the room felt a little crowed with 5 adults. Our director Shania was great and very accommodating. As retirees, we visited on a week day and had the place to ourselves. Looking forward to giving it another try! We did the Orient Express room and the period decor added so much to the adventure.

Tesla was our second room here and we finished with 7 seconds to spare!! This place is great. The rooms are logical and fun. Our game master had a great personality and was attentive and knew when we needed a little help. Highly recommend Architect Escape Rooms!!
