We had an absolutely fantastic time while we stopped in. The cafe is welcoming with a beautiful assortment of cocktails and beverages. The shop has the most incredible collection of such unusual pieces. Every time I walk throughout the building I am continually blown away with the unique finds and how they are so perfectly displayed. This place is a true gem of Chicago. If you're around - definitely explore. You'll find something that is so dreamy.

This place is a gem. I needed a replacement crystal for these fun candlesticks and found it here. Always fun to find unusual statement pieces for your home or business at AA.. Also, stop by their bar area for food and drink. Super cool place

This is a very cool building that has been taken over by someone who has no business selling antiques. One would think that with such outrageous prices, the owner would be able to give more information about the providence or age of their items, but the descriptions are sound like they were written by a fourth grader who just discovered a thesaurus. I don’t think I saw a year on any item’s description. Instead, we get the highly informative “probably very old” to “not very old.” Honestly, I feel like I’m getting dumber just writing this, so I’m just going to include pictures of some of my favorite tags and let them speak for themselves. If you have boatloads of money to burn and don’t care about the story behind anything you buy, then you’ll have a ball here.

Interesting to walk around but very very expensive stuff here. Good restrooms with nice soap and hand lotion though 😂

Fun place to explore and find treasures. They have everything you can think of to add character to your home.

You can lose hours in this place. Although most items in the collection are a bit beyond my meager middle-class income, it was more than worth the visit. Having made that comment about price, I will say there are many affordable and specific things that just about anyone could walk away with and enjoy. There are lots of salvaged items from overseas, fixtures architectural accents, pillars, signage, water works, tables, and there wasn't any item that wasn't interesting enough to check out as you walk through. There are also a bunch of shelves of municipal maps that you could spend hours just going through those. All in all, very cool place and very likely you will find several items you will fall in love with. I can see someone building a new home finding an ultimate showpiece here. Will go back again on my next visit to Chicago just to see what else they have found. Whoever is responsible for this place, well done.

Amazing pieces. I especially love the mid-century Italian table soccer games. I would take a star off because the designer prices are a little steep for the average person who isn't trying to fill the walls of a theme restaurant with conversation pieces. However they are obviously very successful and know their market, so they shouldn't suffer due to my lack of wealth. The owner has a remarkable eye for interesting and unique items. Maybe they should do a TV show where they scour dusty barns and off the beaten path junk yards for collector pieces to fill the shop...oh wait...

Neat place! Not much in my price range, but really enjoy looking through all the pieces. Museum pieces you can buy!
