Archway

"As the name suggests, this restaurant is nestled underneath the railway arches close to Battersea Park and the chic Battersea Power Station development. You may hear the rumble of trains overhead, but it’s often replaced by the buzz of diners flocking here to try the rustic Italian cooking with an appealing simplicity. Their focaccia is a stand out, while dishes like charred octopus with paprika romesco sauce put quality ingredients front and centre. The personable, engaging service team will make your visit even more enjoyable." - Michelin Inspector

This was my favourite meal I’ve had in a while. Everything was superb. The food is all entirely delicious, the portions and presentation is great. The restaurant is an intimate space and the atmosphere is completely buzzy and upbeat. Lastly, but certainly not least, the service is utterly impeccable. Everyone is friendly and warm, and Oyin who looked after us is an absolute gem. 10/10, would come back in a heartbeat!

A truly fantastic Italian restaurant in Battersea! We were pleasantly surprised by the creativity of the dishes, familiar Italian foundations with unexpected twists that really work. Every plate was packed with flavour. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff were genuinely kind and attentive. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something beyond the standard pizza and pasta fare, this place offers something special.

Food was amazing - everything we ordered was top quality and really tasty. Service was impeccable from the moment we walked in and the gentleman who waited our table was delightful - very refreshing to find professional, knowledgable and attentive staff. Only negative mention is that it felt a bit crammed on Valentine's Day, but I imagine this is one of the busiest nights of the year, so I'm curious to come back on a different night for a more intimate experience, which the location is set up for. Bonus points: the bathroom is beautiful and it smelled amazing

Tucked underneath a train line, archway felt like your friend’s cozy dining room. The waitress was attentive and walked us through the whole menu. Nice rotating menu and loved the option to choose the pastas as starters or mains. Nailed the roast lamb chops and prawn risotto and dont skip the tiramisu.

Nice and charming place, even though it’s located under the railway arches. The space is small but cozy, with a pleasant atmosphere. The food is good, but considering the quality and portion sizes, there are better options in terms of value for money. The price feels justified more by its location near Battersea Park than by the overall dining experience. That said, the STAFF is AMAZING —friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which adds to the experience.

Had dinner Wednesday night with the family and the food was great, risotto seafood was delicious. Was my partner’s birthday and we hadn’t said it at the booking, so they have organised a candle for her - really sweet!

Excellent! One of the better meals I have had in London in a while. Like a hidden gem underneath the arches. We had a beautiful meal here, would highly recommend. Fantastic service from Nyall! Will be back

We came with great expectations, and we need to admit that we left a bit disappointed. Speaking of the food, it was very good, tasty, with a true homemade know-how about Italian gastronomy. Unfortunately, the service was not as good as what we can expect in this type of restaurant. We had a reservation but we waited for 15 minutes in the entrance with nobody even telling us they had difficulty to manage the number of people or that we could have to wait due to a higher than normal activity. It is surprisingly disappointing but I guess it is not the normal, I think we came maybe the wrong evening at the wrong time. But we should not be ignored (and it was the case) by waiters. Appart of that, meal sizes are maybe a bit small but that’s it. I could still recommend this place as it was a good Italian restaurant.
