"It always blows visitors minds that at most of the city’s movie theaters, you can pre-book specific seats, meaning that you can eat dinner and wander around until minutes before the show starts, and not have to jockey and jostle for position. We love the Arclight in particular because there’s an on-site bar and during 21+ screenings you can sip your wine while you watch. Locations in Culver City, Hollywood, Pasadena, Santa Monica, and Sherman Oaks."

The seats are nice but auditorium 8 had a loud buzzing/electrical sound that was really loud and distracting through most of our movie. That coupled with how sad it looks when you walk in lead to a really awful experience. I’m giving two stars cause the staff were nice and friendly but the overall experience was very lackluster.

Google
This is my local Regal (I’m an Unlimited member). The seats are very comfortable now after a remodel. However, I was not happy paying $7.50 for parking (which I validated at the machine before leaving). Looks like this happened to someone else recently too. Hopefully this gets fixed so I can enjoy my pass.

Google
Awesome Movie Theater! Has that “New Car” smell, since they are renovating the entire place. The recliner seats are super comfortable and clean. My kids loved the quality of the chicken tenders and hot dogs. They have a large variety of snacks and ice cream. The portions for drinks and popcorn are huge making what I paid them for worth it. What we also loved are the variety of popcorn buckets…really cool. All the employees that helped us were very nice. This will be our new place to watch our movies! Totally worth it! Two thumbs up!👍 👍

update::: I'd like to add that I reached out to Regal Theatre's like they suggested in the comment below and I got a generic reply. No one has cared to reach out. This establishment is ridiculous. It's even more disappointing to ask me to reach out and no one responds. If I Could Give Zero Stars, I Would. What Happened to This Place?! I don’t even know where to begin. This used to be one of my favorite theaters — a go-to spot for family nights. But after this recent experience, I’m honestly shocked and disgusted. We paid $74 to sit in filth. And I don’t mean a few popcorn kernels — I mean trashed. My family and I were the first ones into Theatre 12 for an 8:10 showing. The cleaning crew was still inside, so we waited. One of the employees — rude and clearly annoyed — told us we couldn’t enter yet. Fine, we waited outside the theater, right by the door. They didn’t finish until 8:00 or later, and when we finally walked in… it was still filthy. Food on the seats. Trash on the floor. The exact row they had just been “cleaning” looked untouched. It honestly felt like a prank. And let’s talk about the heat. I came prepared with a jacket and blanket expecting the usual cold theater temps. Instead, I was hit with waves of hot, stagnant air. I had to lean away from a man whose body odor and breath were circulating like a personal fog machine — not his fault, but the theater’s for creating a sweatbox sauna. At one point, a customer brought in an employee to show them her seat issue — they all walked out, and she never came back. That said everything. Even she gave up. Oh — and someone brought their non-service dog into the theater. Just sitting there casually. No one stopped her. No one cared. Concessions were just as chaotic. I ordered fries, but there was zero communication about where to pick them up. It was a mess from start to finish. This place desperately needs management, supervision, and a complete overhaul of staff training and cleanliness standards. What I experienced was not just disappointing — it was disgusting, lazy, and unsafe. Save your money. Save your time. Until this theater gets its act together, go literally anywhere else.

Google
We went on a weekend morning. The place was deserted. There were five people in the actual theater room. The seats were comfortable. The sound was awesome. 😎 The screen was big and beautiful. And the movie was good. The theater is located at The Paseo mall, which is fabulous.

Google
Movie theater is under remodeling, recliner seats are the best for a great movie experience. All theaters I've been to validate parking, I think this one over charge me for parking. I passed my ticket thru the validation machine and it charged me $7.50 for 2 hours. Sign said $1.50 per hour without validation so $7.50 is way more than what is posted on the signs. Let's hope they fix that for everyone

Eddie

Google
It is a very nice and modern theater. The lobby is a tad small but that’s fine with me since i mainly care about the theater room. The seats were decently soft and reclinable but not fully recliner just tad enough (don’t expect much tho). Everything was very nice and I was amazed. There’s a small bar area (it’s not open yet) and parking is validated.

Google
I really like this movie theatre, but I'm writing this review in hopes that maybe Regal sees it. The last few times I ate popcorn there, I got really bad diarrhea (the worst in my life thus far). I never had this problem with AMC popcorn. I also did not have this problem at this Regal years ago and I used to always get popcorn. Just be careful! Maybe the popcorn machine needs to be cleaned.

Yelp
I love coming to Regal Paseo! The staff are always friendly. They are currently going through a huge remodel. The updated theaters are very nice. They offer parking validation. They have a bar and hot food options.

Yelp
Regal Unlimited is a sham - I was a customer for several years, but decided to cancel due to lack of new movies coming out. We received an email from Regal confirming my request to cancel and said I would not be charged again. 8 months later, I noticed a recurring charge on credit card. When I contacted regal and showed their email ... they said sorry, our bad ... we will give you a refund for 3 months. Don't do it! They are shysters. I will remove this if they do the right thing.

Yelp
It's a far cry from its Arclight heyday, the Paseo is a shadow of it's former self but recently I notice there were new chairs when I saw The Life of Chuck. The nonstop commercials were still a pain but the new comfy recliners added another star to my review.

Yelp
Construction. Construction was just the beginning. We had a free screening invite for The Wild Giant. It was such a cute movie. When we arrived we were given free popcorn and drink passes, which was a huge score. That alone totaled $32. Plus the free movie it was a $60+!! So, loved that. Now the theater experience left much to be desired. I always remembered having nice movie going experiences here, but I haven't been back in a few years and this theater is not operating at its best. The movie abruptly stopped and the lights came on. We waited. Nothing happened. A patron got up and told them, and they said they were resetting the system and it would be a few minutes. I decided to run to the bathroom and get a refill of my "small" free bucket of Pepsi Zero. I came back into the theater with the movie now playing where it stopped, but with no sound. The same guy went to go inform them of this. They started the sound up but we missed a good 10 minutes of the movie. They backed it up to the shut-off then we were good...except they left the house lights on for the duration of the movie. Two patrons got up and left, and I think another dad went to complain about the lights, more than once. The movie was free... and great. The popcorn and drinks were free... and great. Overall a lovely start to a Saturday, but if I paid I would be a little perturbed by viewing experience at this theater. I won't be back to buy a ticket anytime soon. For another free screening? Free popcorn and drinks too? mmmmaybe...

Yelp
Ive just had this issue regarding air flow or a/c with Regals (not Alhambra) if the movie is pretty full. Almost every time have to leave the theater to go find someone to say please circulate the air i was packed in mid row and you hear people coughing or whatever. Please circulate air and A/C its been in the high 80s. It doesn't have to be arctic. And what was really a bummer the lights were full on through all the trailers up to start of movie my partner had to go find someone. I really want to love it but that with the parking expense (90 min only) theres no movie 90 min especially now w trailers/ads.
google avatar

Solovino D.

Yelp
From what we saw at the screening of "Superman" last night, I'd guess that this location is on the verge of closing again. The lobby is unkempt and undecorated, the place is short-staffed, there were only 14 audience members for this first-run flick, and the trailers were almost all ads and pleas that you rent the theater for your corporate event. Really, the signs are not good. It doesn't help that Hollywood isn't giving them much worth seeing.
google avatar

Yelp
One of the things that I liked to do is visit different theaters to watch movies and check them out. This is my 4th or 5th time coming to this location since it is no longer under Arclight but it still has that same feel and taste. I'm glad they kept everything the same. We came in after dinner at the yard house to watch Saturday Night on a Friday night(11-1-24). The movie was really good and interesting. The theater is always clean, plenty of room to walk around and was able to order my food quickly at the concession stand. Definitely will come back again real soon plus they have great prices and underground parking.
google avatar

Christina C.

Yelp
The customer service was great but 30 min of commercials and previews were not. I didn't pay to be fed commercials I get bombarded with all day.
google avatar

Deanna M.

Yelp
Seeing a movie here is great but seeing 50,000 commercials is not.. I know that was an exaggeration, but in all seriousness, we saw 30 minutes consecutive commercials with a few trailers. I don't think we'll be coming back again.

Yelp
Whereas when it first reopened as a Regal Theater ( as the Arclight had sadly closed down permanently) the prices were ridiculously low (650). The pricing is now 11 bucks with the popcorn and sodas on par with the other Regals. Regal has kept up the superior quality of the sound and the picture; which is a good thing. I am still waiting for the Liquor License to be approved so all can have drinks, beers and food either at their going to waste Bar or in the auditoriums. Movie selection here is better than that at La Canada in that here the movies are skewed toward adults not children. Bravo! Probably because they are situated in a Mall, they have daytime showings which i also like. What i don't like is that they only verify the parking for 1 1/2 hours whereas before it was 4. Regal has done a good job keeping the quality value up to the level of the Arclight. I will be back.

Yelp
Tuesday nights are discount nights if you have an account with Regal on their website or app. We saw A Complete Unknown and the theatre was not sold out on New Year's Eve. The seats are comfortable and the sound is very good so good that I could partially hear an action movie next door.

S F.

Yelp
i love this theatre but the volume level is actually dangerous. Watched Mission Impossible and I swear I walked out with a percussive concussion, kind of disoriented with headache. About halfway through the movie, i downloaded a decible app to make sure I wasn't losing my mind. Levels were routinely in high 90s. 85 and above is considered dangerous and causes hearing loss. Lots of kids in the movies. I shuddered. Left soon after.

Breanna C.

Yelp
I used to stay away from this location, but lately it's become my go-to movie theater. It's almost always empty, and 99% of the time my family and I are the only ones in the theater, which is awesome for us, but not so great for Regal. They have fantastic deals on Tuesdays, and don't forget to validate your parking! One odd thing I've noticed is that the previews seem to run for 30+ minutes, which actually works out well for me. It gives me a nice 30-minute grace period to make sure I'm on time- lol.
google avatar

Felicia G.

Yelp
I have been here a few times since the Arclight closed.. I would say check in and ticketing is very efficient. The theater quality and the concession stand is standard. Overall, I can say that I haven't had any issues and this is a convenient theater to go to in the Pasadena area.
google avatar

Nathan H.

Yelp
The concessions menu was confusing, I was looking for $ signs to see prices & they don't have any. The font is super tiny. To Regals's credit the movie I saw was executed well, good projection & sound, basic theater seats, nice & clean, plus the picture I saw had only one trailer before the movie (Moana 2). Would I return to the Regal Paseo? Maybe! All the other theatres had signs of what was playing inside, except for our showing, it was cool choice, maybe just because it was the one screening? Felt like a secret, I liked it.
google avatar

Kendra P.

Yelp
Since this place turned from Arc light to a Regal it's just so much better. The theaters are always super clean, the seats are comfy and spaced out well. The bathrooms are always clean as well. Also the movies are actually affordable. Going to the movies as a family lately is so expensive but this place makes it doable without breaking the bank. The popcorn is fresh and yummy and warm. The only thing that would make this place really awesome is if they would finally open up the bar that's been sitting in limbo since the theater open. After that opens can't wait to be going there all the time.
google avatar

Yovy D.

Yelp
I ordered a chicken tenders and fries set. Let me say Nathan went the extra mile by asking and offering a cup holder! We had ordered quite of not of movie goodies!
google avatar

Jessica C.

Yelp
This theatre is opened again! Walked here and enjoyed watching The Equalizer 3 here! Popcorn is still so expensive ($8+) so we didn't get any. The employees were really nice. We got to our theatre a little too early and the guys who clean it asked us so nicely if we could step out. And he even came back to us directly to tell us they were done cleaning. It was great service and a good experience! The movie was amazing too!!
google avatar

Joyce G.

Yelp
Previous movie theater was bought out by Regal. No changes, just a different name. The seats are comfortable. The popcorn is very good. I wish there were more options though for drinks. AMC has much more many options. Get your ticket validated before you leave so that you can save some money for the parking. I would return. Become a Regal member and earn points towards rewards.
google avatar

Yelp
I want to support theaters and this one specifically, but the operation seems to be half-baked compared to other theaters. Concessions is lacking, just about every sign above a theater displays wrong or glitched information, I've gone twice when the theater is just closed, and the space leaves you with the feeling you saw a low budget film in a big empty low budget space. The BIGGEST ISSUE is that the sound mixing in just about every room is lacking. Half of the theater going experience (for me at least) is appreciating quality sound in a space that isn't my living room. Please at least get someone to help mix your theaters as the quality is terrible and sounds like you're listening to films underwater. Please even feel free to reach out to me as I do production and post audio mixing and editing as well as tech theater shows nightly. I want your space to succeed and be the best it can be.
google avatar

Yelp
I bought the unlimited for Regal and I do like coming on days I feel like I wanna watch a movie. Everytime I go, I meet this wondering person I think her name is Chrystal (I think that is how she spelled it). I have a few problems, one they changed the fries and I am not a fan of the new skinny fries, they use to have steak fries but not anymore. One concern is that when I sit down for a movie I get migraines and I think it is in the air of the theater but please look into it.
google avatar

Damaris G.

Yelp
Great option for a low cost movie but man were those seats uncomfortable! I think my ticket was less than $14 for an evening showing but I was barely able to get through the movie because the seat was so stiff.
google avatar

Bryant G.

Yelp
We've been so glad to see Paseo Colorado open back up for movies! This was a frequent date night choice for my wife and I but when the Americana opened all the businesses left. We went there like many others but the theater there has been going down hill and foot traffic and parking is a hassle. Burbank theaters are nicers but traffic and parking are a pain too. Re-enter Paseo! They haven't made any improvements from when it was the Arclight but the ticket prices are cheap and the snacks are even less here than Regal La Canada. If you're looking to go to the movie and don't need an entire night of walking and shopping this is the place.
google avatar

Jesus P.

Yelp
I haven't been to this theater since 2017, and I've been wanting to come ever since. I have been to the Regency in 2022, but now I'm happy to be back here.

Yelp
I feel that I need to report about the poor treatment I received from two managers on duty this evening The two managers showed a lack of concern, made us late to the movie, and did not offer any complimentary items or tickets for the technology failures that prevented us from buying tickets to get into the movie. I tried with the help of a staff person to purchase 2 tickets for a movie both on my unlimited app and at the kiosk inside the theater. Neither would work. The staff directed me to the register at the food counter The challenge was that the movie by this time was about to start The first manager told me I had to wait in line behind the people ordering food. He said I had 7 minutes Instead of helping me himself, he lined up a second manager to serve me when I got to the front of the line My special needs daughter and I missed the beginning of the purple crayon movie. They were already in the real world when we entered Neither manager showed any compassion, concern or empathy emotionally that we were in the position of trying for the third time to buy tickets and could not through no fault of our own. I have bought tickets through app and kiosk many times before. They sold Me the tickets at the register so it was possible, not too late nor through personal error A little caring, an expression of heartfelt apology, perhaps a free hotdogs or ticket would have been appreciated They acted like there was no problem. I just had to miss the beginning of the movie because I could not buy tickets for 30 minutes. Maybe I am confused but I am thinking that a movie theater is supposed to make it possible for us to buy tickets through the methods they advertise. And when those methods fail, it should be a problem they want to address for their customer with some expression of concern. Apparently not for these two managers on duty

Frank C.

Yelp
The worst experience I've had in decades of movie going. Four of the five urinals in the men's room were out of service. This suggests a profound lack of concern about basic maintenance. The wait in line, especially considering the few number of people ahead of me, was ridiculously long. The concession worker seemed to have real difficulty processing the sales of souvenir items in addition to food. The other lines also seemed to have incredibly long waits, suggesting that training at this theater may be a real problem. Overall a terrible experience. A management overhaul seems in order.
google avatar

Mr Yelpsta G.

Yelp
The movie started 20min late and there are a ton of commercials ? Also a bunch of chocolate on my seat Wtf is this Won't be coming back
google avatar

Stevo O.

Yelp
I'm glad Regal opened recently at the Paseo, as the surroundings and environment are not as packed as other locations. Since it is National Cinema Day, all tickets are four dollars and well worth the price. We ended up watching Haunted Mansion and truly enjoyed the venue and the movie.

Tanya G.

Yelp
Saw Warfare there last night and the theater was a pigsty! Popcorn and trash everywhere, dirty seats. Horrible.
google avatar

Sarathbabu P.

Yelp
Good place to chill with your loved one and family. Multi screens and movie time snacks are best.
google avatar

Morty M.

Yelp
Worst movie theater I've been to in a very long time. Horrible audio, messy lobby, poorly managed. Regal should be ashamed of this location. I'll be avoiding regal theaters moving forward.
google avatar

Christopher B.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the arclight movie theater that use to be here. My wife and I use to go to that theater almost once a month just because we enjoyed it so much. With that being said, we were extremely bummed it didn't survive the pandemic, but we were relieved when we found out there'd be another theater coming. The prices of tickets are unbeatable. The popcorn was extremely delicious, but they were limited on other snacks. But that's understandable since they just reopened. My one and only issue was the seats. Maybe I got too spoiled with iPic seating, but my body was hurting after watching the new Spider-Man movie. We also did think the volume of the movie could have been a little louder. Other than that, my wife and I will definitely be returning customers.
google avatar

Kristen D.

Yelp
To be honest; I've given this theater so many chances in the last two years. Admittedly, I knew it would never compare to the ArcLight which is was previously, but it's slacked sooo badly that I had to leave this review. For one, I've gone to multiple movies where the trash from other viewers was in the seats when we got there from previous movies (see pics) and the bathrooms are consistently gross. Today I walked in to the bathroom that was pretty disturbing bathroom with a staff member walking out; having seen it being gross (unflushed toilets, over flowing) and she walked out without doing anything. Also the bar has never been opened always waiting on a license or something. Idk. This theater is in a nice area in pasadena and isn't a nice place to go tbh, especially with the steep prices of movies and food these days. Get it together; I'd rather watch at home:
google avatar

Theodore J.

Yelp
Guys, come on. At least play the films with proper sound and color. It's disrespectful to your customers and the people who make the movies. Multiple visits here and the picture quality is off, the sound is wonky, and there's like zero communication from the staff as to what or how they plan to fix the situation, or accommodate customers. I wish the lack of a bar was the only issue here, but it ain't.
google avatar

Mari L.

Yelp
After an absence of several years, we were disappointed tonight to see how far the former ArcLight has fallen. Judging by the practically non-existent customer service, I can only conclude that the employees 1) don't care about doing their jobs or 2) have zero social skills. Seats in the theater were stained and uncomfortable, and we endured no fewer than 25 minutes of ads and previews before the featured film even started. We will not return.
google avatar

A R.

Yelp
Movie previews are getting out of control. I went to a 12:35 showing and the movie started at 1:05, it's ridiculous.
google avatar

Joel H.

Yelp
Unfortunately, despite this theater now being owned by Regal they haven't updated the screening rooms all that much. Rooms are dusty and smell old. The seats need some deep cleaning. Tickets are cheaper than other locations so there's that.
google avatar

Eli K.

Yelp
I went into the theater early. I noticed the sound was like 50% too loud. I walked out and politely said to a staff member it's a bit too loud. No big deal. So then they adjusted it and it's was inaudible. Couldn't hear people talking. So I complained again. And again and again. And the gave up. Im no audio expert, but clearly something what wrong with their sound system. I think the front monitor was like blown out or something. I was like a joke. I don't understand how they can take peoples money and offer them such a shitty product. Shame on them.
google avatar

Drew J.

Yelp
A nice theater with yummy food and beverage options. Prices were presented very small and confusing
google avatar

krystal c.

Yelp
No cashier No cash No Apple Pay No Google Pay Credit card only They'll steer you to their app where you'll pay a 35% convenience charge.
google avatar

Phillip K.

Yelp
Horrible experience related to the cleanliness of the theatre. Watched Inside Out 2 with the family at 6pm and before we got to our seats we noticed trash and popcorn all over the floor. When we got to our seats there was popcorn and used cups from the previous group. I had to clean up the seats myself. Please fix this issue.
google avatar

Norma R.

Yelp
I use to love the Arclight in this location. This is still an awesome location but now it is a little dirty. Chairs in the theaters are the old ones from the Arclight so they are not comfortable and old. Decent prices compared to other movie theaters in Pasadena.
google avatar

Jason R.

Yelp
What a nightmare!! Went to watch a prescreening of Bosh legacy season 2, and from stop to finish the season preview was AMAZING But the movie theater really fell flat. This was an Amazon event that with purchase you were suppose to received a popcorn and drink, we'll the Regal staff didn't know what to do and the line moved like molasses, not even the manager could figure it out and they didn't want to give us our popcorn or dink that we were entitled to, the manager said I had to take it up with Amazon? They had to push Back the start time due to this then when the movie was about to start the evacuation alarm was set off and everyone had to exit to the lobby, after a few minutes we returned to watch the show but what a terrible experience.

Delano R.

Yelp
Employee was fabulous gave me sweetish fish for free. She was very kind and hope to see her the next time I come. This is definitely my movie theater top pick
google avatar

Josh B.

Yelp
We have had several unpleasant experiences at this theater in the past two months. During our first visit in July, a man came charging out of a theater, swearing loudly (f-bombs) and complaining about the sound not working. He was confronted by another patron about his behavior, and they ended up in a physical altercation in front of my son and I. This incident was not addressed by either theater employees or security, and both men were allowed to separately re-enter our theater to watch the film. On our second visit, two patrons engaged in a verbal confrontation in the theater about a child taking during the film. No punches thrown this time. Amazingly, we managed to attend a screening without incident on our third visit. During our most recent visit (5th or 6th?) yesterday, a mother came running to the concession counter to alert the staff that her son had been physically assaulted in the restroom and requested that they call security. Mall security did ultimately come to the theater on that occasion, though it was unclear if the perpetrator was detained. In addition to that incident, the projector in our theater had a bulb explosion that destroyed the projector. Everyone received a refund and voucher for a future showing (thank you), but we ended up having to drive to another movie theater to see our intended film. I understand that the events listed above are not the fault of the staff, but we were generally disappointed in the lack of adequate customer service and slow or nonexistent handling of situations that would alarm most patrons and would concern me if I was in a management position. Concession service has also been slow and disinterested. Suffice to say, we won't return to this theater again. It had much better management in its previous incarnation as an Arclight, and we never had to worry about the behavior of other filmgoers.

Jasmin A.

Yelp
I've never laughed at a movie theater , the way the employees were standing around laughing and chit chatting while two of their soda machines don't work , my daughter is in love with inside out and we were excited to get her the merch that regal theaters were offering but this theater had nothing but the bucket since the premier of Inside Out 2 . You can't advertise what you aren't selling . Just not right Hope you guys upgrade this theater like the one at la live .

Diana C.

Yelp
Awful place. Staff was clueless and sent us to the wrong theater (and other people to). The bar was closed -not sure if it's operational because staff was so clueless. Seven dollars for a sparkling water. Pepsi items only, no Coke. Not a lot of people. Depressing. I give it six months.
google avatar

Fahad H.

Yelp
One of the nicest, cleanest theater w/ extremely friendly staff members in one of nicest part of SoCal, do I need to say anymore? A bit far from my home or else this would've been my go to movie place!

Christina F.

Yelp
Great theater in a nice shopping center. We went on a Tuesday for sweet, sweet discount tickets. Employees were nice. Was very empty, and we only had a few other people in the theater with us. My friend loves their nachos. Popcorn was solid. Really loved watching Elemental here. Next time I'll plan to go earlier so I can browse the shopping center too. Pasadena has such a lovely atmosphere and shopping areas.
