If I Could Give Zero Stars, I Would. What Happened to This Place?!
I don’t even know where to begin. This used to be one of my favorite theaters — a go-to spot for family nights. But after this recent experience, I’m honestly shocked and disgusted.
We paid $74 to sit in filth. And I don’t mean a few popcorn kernels — I mean trashed. My family and I were the first ones into Theatre 12 for an 8:10 showing. The cleaning crew was still inside, so we waited. One of the employees — rude and clearly annoyed — told us we couldn’t enter yet. Fine, we waited outside the theater, right by the door. They didn’t finish until 8:00 or later, and when we finally walked in… it was still filthy. Food on the seats. Trash on the floor. The exact row they had just been “cleaning” looked untouched. It honestly felt like a prank.
And let’s talk about the heat. I came prepared with a jacket and blanket expecting the usual cold theater temps. Instead, I was hit with waves of hot, stagnant air. I had to lean away from a man whose body odor and breath were circulating like a personal fog machine — not his fault, but the theater’s for creating a sweatbox sauna.
At one point, a customer brought in an employee to show them her seat issue — they all walked out, and she never came back. That said everything. Even she gave up.
Oh — and someone brought their non-service dog into the theater. Just sitting there casually. No one stopped her. No one cared.
Concessions were just as chaotic. I ordered fries, but there was zero communication about where to pick them up. It was a mess from start to finish.
This place desperately needs management, supervision, and a complete overhaul of staff training and cleanliness standards. What I experienced was not just disappointing — it was disgusting, lazy, and unsafe.
Save your money. Save your time. Until this theater gets its act together, go literally anywhere else.
