ArcLight Cinemas Santa Monica

It's awesome to be able to reserve seats when I buy the ticket. Then I can just stroll in when the movie starts without stressing. The food at the bar is nice. Note that you can take beverages from the bar into your movie but you can't take food from the bar. The bartender said it's probably because the food can have a strong smell. Makes sense

It is a very nice theater. Also you are free to wander in and use the bar or food concessions without a ticket. Only negative I can think of is that you really should not sit in the first row or two or else you are too close to the screen. It used to be this way in the past but most "reserved" theaters have the first row being fairly usable.

After arranging ample financing at a moderate interest rate to pay the ticket price, the movie-going experience was exceptional. Eat before you enter due to the fact that food service is limited (but tasty). In addition, it was nice having someone welcome us to the theatre even if the seats do not recline. A good place to invest that year-end bonus.

This place never disappoints. You can spend a whole day here! Love that you can buy tickets on a touch screen instead of staying in line! It’s inside a shopping center in the heart of Santa Monica, right off the 3rd St Promenade. It is spacious, beautiful, clean, modern, and staffed with friendly faces. Just saw Bohemian Rhapsody, it was amazing. If you haven’t seen it, you absolutely must! I hardly ever see a really good movie these days! Right outside the doors are restaurants and coffee spots, so you have plenty options if you don’t like movie theatre food!

High end theater with an eye watering high end price. Clean, comfortable along with a bar at the entrance. You get what you pay for... although it feels tough always springing for a ticket here cuz sometimes you just want to watch a movie and not feel like it's a special occasion.

ArcLight knows how it's done! Great location and clean theaters, this is a good place to catch a flick. The seats are comfortable, and the film presentation is excellent. I also cannot express enough appreciation for the fact that they play no ads and only a few trailers (unlike a certain other red-dotted, Coca-Cola peddling theater chain). My only slight complaint is that, at least in some of the theaters, the screen is very high. I recommend sitting AT LEAST halfway back, or you'll be straining your neck the whole time.

One of my favorite theatres. Clean bathrooms, great bar, not too big of auditoriums, which I really like.....but not too small either. Very comfy seats. Never too busy. Great service. Great all around.
