Our waiter was Brady, he was friendly, kind and respectful. I loved the food and I enjoyed the atmosphere. Will definitely come here again when we’re in the area!! You should too!!! ♥️ Sidebar: the best water I’ve had at a restaurant hands down. Do yourself a favor and get there!!

Google
Very professional atmosphere, very relaxing. The waiter we had was very polite and courteous. Second time coming back and definitely not the last. The Amazonian Strawberry Mango margarita was to die for ✨️👌 the Chimichanga was very good as well. Been to multiple Mexican food places and this has to be in the top 3 of my places to go. 5 out of 5 stars for service and atmosphere.

Abdulghfar Fahleh

Google
One of the best places to eat authentic Mexican food fresh authentic very friendly service price wise very reasonable. I posted the menu pictures with the prices to show everyone it is worth it. The burrito I got was really more than enough. Definitely coming back and it deserved five stars.

Google
🫶🏻This place is magnificent, today like almost every weekday I ordered my food to go, very good work by my best friend there, Frank always knew what I wanted just by hearing my voice and he is also good at selling me margaritas and giving good service and his smile from corner to corner of the restaurant, good service, good food and also good margaritas.👌👌

Google
Just wanted to give a shoutout to the restaurant for the amazing food and super friendly staff. Yesterday I had a bit of trouble understanding one of the waiters, but then this kid, I'm guessing the host?stepped in and translated everything for us. I have some food allergies, so I had to be pretty specific with my order, and the kid got it all spot on. Huge thanks to the chefs too,the food was delicious!

Google
Food was so good and my waiter was so nice and sweet, she was also funny! The atmosphere was honestly so welcoming and I love the decorations and everyone is so kind! Perfect place to have a birthday party as well, they have complimentary chips and salsa as well. I live 10 minutes away and this will be me and my families go-to mexican restaurant!

Google
The past 2 times I've been here, service was horrible. Food is great but server (same one both times) seemed more interested in talking to her co workers than taking care of her patrons. I had to ask other servers for extra napkins, more salsa, and a refill on my drink. Maybe serving isn't for you! Otherwise everyone else is great! Do better Arcos.

Brandon Jackson

Google
The food was amazing! The margarita flight was 👌🏼. Looking forward to going again. I didn't get a picture of the table side made guacamole but it was great as well! The only complaint I have is they didn't give us enough chips initially but that was an easy fix.

Yelp
Stopped by for lunch. Service was quick and the food came out promptly. I was provided chips/salsa quickly and was even offered a to go cup for my drink. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of the food. I was interested in trying sopes but they did not have them on the menu. The restaurant appeared clean and orderly.

Yelp
Our families favorite place to eat. Food is great service is great no complaints. Everything we have tried is top notch highly recommend

Yelp
I went to Arcos once years ago when they were located on dupont and I remember thinking how good their food was. I believe they closed during covid, but recently opened back up and relocated in Waynedale. I tried it out with my aunt and I would definitely say this place lives up to what I remembered. She got the margarita flight which was absolutely amazing. Some of the flavors were spicy but not too spicy like other places that make it overwhelmingly spicy. The bartender ever gave us a free mini of the pineapple chipotle margarita he came up with to test it out and give our opinion. It was soooo good! She also ordered the chicken tacos which were okay, but she's a plain eater so I wasn't expecting much from her order. The birria tacos were delicious! The were full of meat and the consume was the perfect amount and filled with flavor. I definitely can't wait to got back!

Yelp
Sitting down at the moment. Service has been almost non existent in the last 30 minutes. And don't get the large queso, it says it's a 16oz bowl, it's definitely more around 6-8 oz.

Becky G.

Yelp
We had my husband's birthday party in the party room. The food was good and the service was excellent. I definitely recommend this restaurant for your next event.

Yelp
I waited a few days before writing this review. I wanted to make sure I was able to convey several unbiased points in this space. First, the smell that greets you at the door is amazing. The waffling aroma of meat cooking is so soft to the nose, not overpowering, but rather a welcome to come in and enjoy. The location is easily accessible, it's at the end of the small strip plaza. Upon entry, I was warmly welcomed by the host. He was pleasant and engaging. Almost immediately after being seated, my waiter arrived. He was courteous and efficient. The table I sat in was near the bar and it had several other patrons in the area. The noise level was average and the entire atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. My companion and I opted for the white queso with our chips. It had a very mild flavor, I tend to like a little more spice. Our dinner arrived timely after ordering. I had the chimichanga, it wasn't fried, which is my personal preference, but it was ok. My companion had the burrito supremo, he said it was on par with others he had tried. All that being said, the atmosphere is amazing, the staff is excellent, and the energy is top tier. The food is ok, it's ok. I wanted to really absolutely love it and in the end, I liked it. I'll try to again.

Yelp
We've been here for lunch 3 times in the last week. Service was excellent, the employees were very attentive and friendly. They are also dog friendly and brought water for our dog without us even asking. Food was also great with plenty of meat in each entree. Anytime we are back in the area we will be eating here again.

Zakiya S.

Yelp
Amazing over the top so so good when I say I will be back I will great service food came out hot and good every bite OMG I can't believe how good and cheap this place is

Yelp
Arcos still does a fantastic job at bringing you quality Mexican food in a great atmosphere. Arcos has done a nice job with their Covid practices. The facility is large so customers are comfortably spaced apart. The facility is very clean. The team is very disciplined on serving you safe while being very customer oriented. The chips and salsa haven't changed. Both are good. I like a thicker salsa - Arcos salsa is a little bit thicker but not as thick as I like. I'm not a fan of the style of salsa cups - they are deep and difficult to scoop a chip into. The chip bowls may not hold many chips. The first batch of chips had a lot of space between the chips so we ran out quick. The refill was more packed and was plenty. We had a small and medium margarita to start. Arcos does a nice job at giving you a good flavor without being overly heavy on alcohol. For dinner my wife had the shrimp tacos. Lots of shrimp and food. Fresh and delicious! I had the three cheese and beef tacos. This was a nice combination of fresh ingredients without being dominated by cheese or beef. The Spanish rice had a nice taste - not too Spivey but enough flavor to enjoy. Give Arcos a try if you have not!

Yelp
honestly awful. service sucked. food was cold and mid. don't get the 16 oz queso because is isn't anywhere near 16 oz. you could get 4 of the 4oz for less than the 16oz and you'd get more queso. pic to show.

Yelp
Not bad! We came on a Thursday evening around 530 or 6, it wasn't too busy at the time. Our waitress was doing multiple jobs and seemed a little bit overwhelmed. She took our orders and then made tableside guacamole, which apparently isn't part of her job typically. She was also keeping an eye out for customers waiting up front and also mentioned that she's been having to do a lot more training. She was super nice, it just seemed like she had a lot on her plate for one person. Food was good, I can't say it was fantastic or something out of the ordinary for a Mexican restaurant... The salsa had a bit of a kick! Fresh gauc was good. I believe I had ordered carnitas- it was pretty good and I appreciated that the meat was not fatty. My husband ordered a chicken dish with tortillas on the side, he thought it was fine. A note though, having nothing to do with the restaurant specifically, but if you are a medical staff member coming for a meal... Which, it seemed like there were lots of people from surrounding medical offices there that night, we can hear everything you're saying... So if you're talking bad about your employers or the work environment, just know that it's being noted I'm not sure we really feel the need to return, but for a Mexican craving it, it hit the spot.

Yelp
I was really looking forward to eating here. Unfortunately, the place was not very well kept. The food was ok. The service was good.

Yelp
I've recently relocated to Indiana and this is one of the three Mexican places I've been to so far. Im a huge Mexican fan and i come from New York so I'm probably a bit spoiled and i hold a high standard because I'm used to my "happy place" back home called "Margaritas". Anyway, i accept the fact that the cuisine here may not reach the same level as you'll find in New York and that people's palates may differ as well. That being said, Arcos was really not bad. The margaritas were made well and didn't taste like cheap margarita mix from a jar and well tequila. In my opinion, you cannot consider yourself a Mexican restaurant if you dont make fresh margaritas from scratch. The chips were good, salsa was on point and the food was pretty good. So far im calling it around a 7 out of 10. But we've only been there once. Im excited to try different menu items and revisit this review later.

Michael K.

Yelp
I used to come here for good Mexican food until my last visit. The restaurant staff without warning, played loud cymbals right next to my ear for a birthday celebration for the table next to us. It startled me to the point that I almost chocked on my food. It was loud, startling and completely uncalled for.

Yelp
but, sadly, they moved away from their dupont location. why? i love your food and we came all the time.. please come back.

Ann Y.

Yelp
Ever since Banditos closed, i have mossed having a full service restaurant in that building. I will try this place again. There is room for improvement regarding the flavor of the food. I will ask for the next level up in their salsa. I like that they offer degrees pf heat on their recipes. Improvement needs to be made in regards the overall It os a busy place and i need to smple some othet dishes. Enchiladas are usually by design pretty typivcal. I enjoyed those..
google avatar

Joe W.

Yelp
This fine establishment has replaced bandito's and filled it up with great food and top notch service. I liked the paintings and seating was fairly comfortable. I will be back !

Yelp
Been going to to this Awesome Mexican restaurant with its amazing vegetarian option since it opened. Very disappointing to drive to the location and our favorite place to eat out is closed for good. Dang we were just here on 12/30/22 and there were no sign that this place was lacking business. Very very very sad day. And now a hungry day

Yelp
I cannot say I was to impressed by this chain Mexican eatery. Service was spot on which is great and why the three stars. Chips and salsa delivered right away and was given time to pour over the huge menu to big In my opinion. But I was pestered a couple of times during that time for drinks and made by the side Guacamole. Prices r average and the food came out hot and quick. But it was bland and lacked any flavor or substance as the enchilada and our burrito fell apart as you cut into it and was hard to get it on the fork. Also the food was cold after a few bites so not sure if the plates are just so hot but once they cool so does the food. Asking for more salsa and chips is looked down upon too and was hard to come by. As well as to go boxes. I will say however their rice is very good. Quick in and out meal but I wouldn't go back nothing special and the same food and service can be had at other Mexican chain eateries in town

Yelp
It was a good place. Food was good. Margaritas good. What caught my attention was a big gold jaguar full of tequila. A buddy and myself had a shot. We both agree it was dangerously smooth.

Yelp
Love this place so much. It's fast, it's DELICIOUS, and the people there are so sweet! I'm distraught with the fact that it's closing but Arcos will always have my heart

Yelp
Pretty good Mexican food by Ft. Wayne standards. Steak fajitas and especially street tacos were good. Vegetable quesadillas were surprisingly good, and they provided very nice fresh jalapeños sliced lengthwise on request. Picky toddler ate the fries and cheeseburger in the kid's meal.
google avatar

Jahan W.

Yelp
Thee best guacamole I have ever eaten. Everything was fresh and tasted awesome. I ordered the steak fajita burrito, sauce was good, pick was fresh and tasty. Beans and cheese was great as well. No exaggeration but this food was a 10. Way too much for one person to eat alone.

Amy D.

Yelp
Will never go back. The manager is extremely rude. They got my order wrong, I asked for half off my dinner (didn't eat the portion that was wrong) manager said no. Service was slow, booth was dirty. stay away!

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant! Large, vivid and colorful paintings are scattered throughout the space. Vibrant lighting. Rich decor that would make it a great place for a date. For a Mexican restaurant, the prices are high. That delicious bowl of food you see in all the pictures is Molcajete and priced at $15! I ordered Fajitas Tequila which was approximately $13 and is a combination of shrimp, chicken and beef with peppers, tomatoes and onions. The portion was large. However, I only received 5 shrimp. The dish was simply just ok. The meat and veggies lacked any seasoning, including even salt and pepper. My guest ordered beef enchiladas which she also described as just okay. They appeared very generic. Sadly, sitting in this restaurant, I was expecting food as delicious as the decor is beautiful but that was not the case. Mexican food should be seasoned thoroughly and extremely flavorful. But that also is not the case at Arcos. If you're looking for typical Ft Wayne mexican food, visit Arcos. However, i won't be returning.

Yelp
Poor quality food no flavor and the service was just adequate I prefer more authentic Mexican food

Yelp
Went for lunch last Friday. Meals served were good, nicely presented and of ample quantity. There was continued confusion with our order, and the waitress came back to verify our order no less than 5 times. ( Ours wasn't the only table with the apparent lack of communication with the kitchen). We got our meals served, with an single ala carte item winding up being a separate complete meal. Got it corrected on the bill and all was well. The one star demerit, is for the Guacamole cart and it's presentation at the table. Sure, I get it, it is to show how fresh their product is. There certainly was no "show" with the presentation. The cart with it's hard plastic casters, would be likened to steel wheels rolling along a cobblestone road, the clatter it made going to individual tables was pretty annoying. The cart itself, was not necessarily very clean, but adorned with a tip jar displayed prominently in a very tacky manner. Truly an embarrassing show for the girl who really did not want to be there doing what she was shown to do. Do away with that travesty of a show. Everything else was pretty nice. For an established restaurant however, service was kind of off.
google avatar

Richard S.

Yelp
We really enjoyed the meal. Servings a large. We also got the white cheese dip. Prices are average.
google avatar

Renee L.

Yelp
Food is always amazing!! Margaritas are delicious (cucumber jalapeño is my favorite and I normally don't like cucumber. Service is great too. This place never disappoints. Wish I had pictures to share but we are always n a hurry to eat the delicious food. Their portion sizes are huge too.

Juan G.

Yelp
Service was great food was horrible both are meals We're very salty including the salsa on the table Manager did offer different food we declined as we didn't have time we were on our lunch break he did give us a discount off the bill
google avatar

Yelp
Very good food and you won't leave hungry as the portions are very good. Would recommend this place for Mexican
google avatar

Yelp
These guys are the best! They continuously check in on you to make sure you're doing okay. Even when it's busy; they hustle. It's not only your server that makes sure you're taken care of but other servers/staff as well. My kids love their food. I highly recommend Arcos!
google avatar

Ray R.

Yelp
good food but watch the taters in the burritos! my wife won't let me go back due to the "illegal substitution" ! the table-side guacamole is to die for !
google avatar

Travis K.

Yelp
I will say the Guacamole Fresh is honestly the best I have had. The food is well presented. It really seemed fair in pricing. I have been here at Lunch time and it can get busy in the area where it's at but the food is constant. BUT YOU KNOW ALSO REMAINS A CONSTANT! Amazing customer service. I was stuck in the DuPont hospital for tests over night. I call there, they set me up with the best guy, Edwardo, and he brought me the food to my Hosital bed. And as fast as I have ever got, high quality food delivered .. But honestly treat that Guac with some respect.

Loop A.

Yelp
Not bad tasting food, still looking for abuelita in the back, cooking it up! Stopped in a couple times great service and clean accommodations.
google avatar

Lex B.

Yelp
I liked when this location on Dupont Rd was Bandido's. Prices were more to my liking. Food was a little skimpy here compared to other Mexican places I have had in town. This location does have good beans, they taste premium. The other food pretty average, expensive and kind of skimpy, not to bad though. I got full, barely. Soon as I got home I shot a torpedo in the swirl bowl. Didn't take long to blast off a torpedo for sure. Something ran right through me, in fact in might of been those good beans, they were a little runny, but my torpedo was solid. Still shot one off though like right when I got home.
google avatar

Alisa I.

Yelp
Tasty vegetarian quesadilla. Husband enjoyed his burrito supremo. The guacamole was good too. Very tasty strawberry margarita.

Mickie W.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. Wife had been there before with coworker liked the place and their food. We wanted to go for mexican food in Fort Wayne for wife's birthday. Service was top notch and servers anticipated needs before you knew what you needed. If you asked for something, no asking twice. They sang Happy Birthday, in spanish, to wife, and gave her complimentary small dessert, so flan came home with us. Chips - excellent - freshly made Salsa - excellent - freshly made Salads - awesome Fajitas - awesome Margarita - awesome, per wife Iced tea - excellent - freshly made

Paul A.

Yelp
Had to ring a bell at front desk for someone to seat us. Stale chips and bland salsa came quickly. Asked for something spicier and server brought out two little cups. One had verde sauce and the other little cup was a spicier yellow sauce. Not nearly enough for the small metal bowl of chips. Ordered a fajita burrito and wife ordered chicken fajitas. Both seriously lacking any flavor. It was so bad we actually went to another place up the street. Review that one later.

Toni S.

Yelp
Everything about the visit was average. We ordered table side made guacamole, we didn't get appetizer plates to put it on and when I asked for some, we got small bowls. The guacamole was amazing tho! I ordered shredded beef enchiladas, the beef was so dry it was almost inedible. The fajitas were the way to go, they were tasty! Fried ice cream was amazing too, it was huge! The service was the biggest disappointment, the waiter didn't understand the concept of his job or didn't communicate well. I would probably go back, but not if there are other options.
google avatar

Brian P.

Yelp
This is our second time here, the staff is so friendly and you feel very welcome! The food is great! We always get the sauce tray as well. We just moved here from Indy and it's been a great find!
google avatar

Dayna B.

Yelp
Amazing place to eat! This is definitely my new favorite restaurant to eat! From the very layed back private dinning area and modern atmosphere to the professionalism of the staff. If I could rate them a 10 I would!! It's a must try or your just missing out! Just ordered the fried ice cream need I say more?!

Yelp
Arcos took the place of where Banditos used to be. We missed Banditos, but that void has been filled by Los Cabos. However, once discovering that Arcos had come in, we thought we'd give it a shot. Upon entering, I immediately liked what they had done with the decor. Banditos was a little dated, like Cebollas, and lacked a level of sophistication with its decor. Arcos has an elegant look to it. We were seated right away since there weren't many people there. The hostess was nice, as was the guy who brought us our drinks. But that is where the nice staff stops. Our waiter was not good at all. He was neither friendly nor attentive. I had asked if I was able to get cheese instead of pico on my tacos, something that I thought was reasonable. I even was willing to pay extra if need be, but our waiter just shook his head and said they couldn't do that. I realize that cheese on tacos might be a new concept, but i've never been denied this substitution/addition. After our order, our waiter stood in the bar area and messed with his phone most of the time. The only time we saw him again was to get our bill. Our food came in decent amount of time, and the portions were large. We ordered the queso with chorizo to have with our chips. It was thick, gooey, and delicious. For my meal, I had the rice with chicken and enjoyed it, although I overate! My wife had the chori-pollo (chicken and chorizo) and loved it. Overall, the food and decor were nice, but our waiter really soured our experience and we aren't sure we'll be back because we can go down the road to Los Cabos and get great food with friendly service.

Yelp
Oh my I was never so happy to discover what a great place this is! George was the best server I've had in some time and then he tells me it's only his FOURTH day on the job. He was so attentive and made our dining even better. We got the table side made gauc...goodness this was so good. It's $8 but it's really great and an entertaining experience as well. Luis made it perfect. We got steak fajitas, tacos, enchiladas, and a quesadilla. All were so good. TAKE NOTE: ORDER A MOJITO!!! My gosh...best mojito that I've had in FW! It's not on the menu. I asked if they had it and he went to check. Seriously...$6 and so I had to order 2! We'll be back. Also, if you know French, George will try to talk back to you! What a fun tasty dining experience. Of course if you know Spanish, he knows that too! Super place! Great Service!
google avatar

Michiel S.

Yelp
Service was great. No complaints Glass was always full Cheese 9.5 little runny and needs a little more kick Salsa 9.5 great but needs a little more kick Chimichanga. I had a beef and a chicken and the chicken was a lot better. Guacamole that came on the plate was actually really good because I don't care for it.
google avatar

Ed Y.

Yelp
Cold beer was good, but steak was tasteless. Grilled onions, bell peppers and salsa didn't help. Pretty much just salty. Low quality cut of meat too. They should trim the fat.
google avatar

Branden K.

Yelp
Amazing food and amazing service. We had three toddlers under 4 years old and if your a parent you understand sometimes they just have there moments. There servers were still amazing and attentive. They have three different hot salsa you can ask for and they are all delicious and hot, hotter and nuclear. There regular salsa is very good as well. We got there huge fajita with chicken, steak, chorizo, shrimp, onions, green peppers plus the sides for 24.99. Not bad to feed a family of 5.
google avatar

Brittany M.

Yelp
We were in Fort Wayne while my husbands band was on tour. We had to find a place that had enough parking for a tour bus and boy are we glad we found this place! All of the food we ordered was incredible and such large portions most of us took a to go box for later. Only thing we regret was not having cash on us to tip the wonderful lady who makes guacamole right at your table. Anytime we are in Fort Wayne, we will definitely stop back!
google avatar

Kelli S.

Yelp
The portions are big just like you would expect from a Mexican place. The service was lackluster, we had to wait on things for a long time and if we needed something we had to have someone find our server. My husband said his quesadilla was good. I got shrimp fajitas which were very oily. The shrimp was also really over cooked. One thing that disturbed me was the thick layer of dust in the ledge that ran across the wall of booths. If you can't keep the front of the house clean, what does the back of the house look like. Overall we were a bit disappointed and felt the quality wasn't there for a $55 meal for two.
