Google
Decent mall but kinda feels like it’s been going through changes. Been here for food, quick shops, and just to pass time. Some stores closed up but still a good number open. Security’s always walking around which is good.

Dylan Teixeira (Blue)

Google
Pretty good mall/shpping area. Lots of stores, lots of places to eat, and at the time when I went it was clean overall. No complaints!

Jovi Tupaz

Google
Still lots of shops including JC Penny, Macy's, footlocker, Uniqlo, Abercrombie, gamestop, lids, Victoria secret Sephor, etc

Jennifer Lewis

Google
The stores are fine. The area tries hard but is surrounded around the less fortunate village people Sacramento like many other parts Of our state have frequent good and bad experiences with the less fortunate peterpans lost children groups. I personally do not like to park over here. The stores are nice. I only go to this mall for very short and direct purchases and back to my car in quick day light time. I love my car and would have to haunt the masses if anyone stole my car. I’d die! lol.

Google
The mall was busy which was great to see. It is critical that we support malls and stores; otherwise, we'll all be forced to buy everything online. There is a good selection of stores with a major Dick's Sporting Goods coming.

Lauren Orcutt

Google
It's a very nice mall with a great balanced variety of store types and food types. Fun to walk around. Vibrant and alive, not like some dying or hollow malls. It's usually busy but not so busy that it's miserable. Pro tip: park on the roof! It's never full. It's right by Macy's and JCPenney.

Google
Been shopping at Macy's for decades. This is certainly One of the better managed ones. I bought a casual outfit and a suit. Customer service was excellent as usual. The atmosphere, was good as well. It's always cool to shop at Macy's

Michael W.

Google
Arden Fair Mall is not like what it used to be. It is the same as most of the shopping malls. Arden Fair has two major department stores that moved out or closed. The mall has two substantial empty spaces. A lot of stores have turned into restaurants in the last few years. Shopping at Arden Fair is not as fun as before anymore! I hope people are enjoying shopping again and bringing Arden Fair back to a shopping paradise again!

Yelp
Checked out Arden fair. Great to see Uniqlo and H&M that have an awesome selection and prices. Nice to see the Christmas decorations as well.

Yelp
I had some free time so decided to go to Arden Fair Mall. there are so many wonderful shops here. There is a Champs Sports, Shoe Palace, Aldo, Sheikh, Zumiez, and a Foot Locker. There are a lot of shops for the fashion enthusiasts. There is an H+M, Banana Republic, Express, Hollister, Macy's, Forever 21, White House Black Market, and Windsor. There is a Tilly's here! Yay! so many dresses to choose from. I love Tilly's. The customer service reps are so helpful. Standard food court. Panda Express Sbarro and some others. There is a Jamba Juice and Cinnabon but not in the food court. I got an Açaí bowl...so delicious. There are a wide variety of shops. Jewelry, bath shops, perfumery, eye and sunglasses, specialty and rare shops. There is a Hot Topic and a Spencer's. Game Stop for the video game fans. Great values at Hot Topic. There is a Dolce and Gabbana awesome! There is a MAC store and a Sephora....eccellente! I got some makeup, some new gear, Kuromi accessories, See's candy and a new Bibby jersey. The Christmas tree is up! Some guy named Santa is here. I love the elf puppets! they move! There are quite a few cafes here. Next time I am here I will try the Sips and Scoops. I also want to try the Fruit and Cream. Highly recommend Arden Fair Mall. They have so many different shops. need some retail therapy? check out Arden Fair Mall.

Yelp
Arden Fair Mall hosts amazing events for children on Saturday mornings. This past weekend we took the kids to an early Christmas Pajama Event with holiday crafts for all ages! A Charlie Brown Christmas played on the big screen while we snacked on free Auntie Anne's pretzels, muffins, hot chocolate w/marshmallows, Pete's coffee and fruit. So many kids in their cute holiday PJs all gathered to the front to sing along with a solo guitarist. With classic holiday cheer, dancing and eating candy canes, Santa Clause finally made an appearance and we all welcomed him with an applause. The kids sat in awe as Santa read them a Christmas story. There were several Arden Mall employees that kept the event well organized and clean. We would definitely attend another Arden fair children's event, worth costs to us and incredibly fun. Value is affordable with free parking and free snacks/entertainment for the whole family.

Yelp
Arden Fair is ready for Christmas shopping! I haven't shopped in a mall for almost a year. The last one being in LA somewhere. So happy to see so many stores available and lots of people shopping. The mall is clean and when it was time for a snack, the food court was available with offerings we actually recognized and enjoy. Parking was easy, plentiful, and free.

Rachel K.

Yelp
The parking can still get a bit crazy here, but I feel like I've visited more and more frequently. I like that they have some unique local stores as well as stores you'd typically expect from a mall. The food options are great and they have a variety of quick service and sit down options. I have a few of the spots bookmarked to try soon and have already visited a couple spots. They have the expected stores and their Apple Store is pretty reliable and not overly crowded even after releases. Around the holidays they have decorations and they have some events and fun things that happen throughout the year as well.

Stephanie D.

Yelp
What can I say i've been going to Arden Mall since I was a little girl now I take my kids. There's so many stores. a lot of food selections. They're always decorated everybody That works in Arden Mall are very helpful. The value could be from $5 to $100 it depends on what you want to buy, they have a big selection of stores you could choose from.

Kathy G.

Yelp
Santa this year was so wonderful, went with my grand kids and daughter. Nice that you can make an appointment for photos. No crowds. Got a peppermint lollipop afterwards as well.

Yelp
I'm starting to like arden more now because of the 2 new shops coming to town. . H and m is finally opening up on sep 26 2024 at 11am. I'm so glad I don't have to go far for h and m now. Also the store is pretty big which I'm excited for. So there will be a good selection to look at. . Uniqlo is one store I use to go out the way to shop. Now they have it here and I'm so glad I can come here which is much closer. . We are just missing a zara here. Hopefully one day and this mall will be complete with some of my favorite shops. . I do like the macy here and sometimes it's a hit or miss. But sometimes I find great deal here. Hopefully macy doesn't close since we do have rumors rhe downtown location is going to close. . One of my new favorite coffee shop is here which is sip and Scoops which has Gunther ice cream too. If you love a good coffee or drink come check it out. . Overall there is more foodie spots here which I like. As well good stores are popping up so I'm glad to see improvements with arden mall. Hope this review helps and thanks for reading. Have a yelptastic day.

Richard M.

Yelp
Parking can be bad at times. Nice Center. Clean and attractive setting. I try to Christmas shop early, because this Mall can be a Zoo that time of year.

Ruvic Anne L.

Yelp
Really nice mall! One of the most popular malls in Sacramento! Variety of choices when it comes to shop and dining, the outside restaurant has Gen. Korean barbecue! Highly recommend!

Lisa Y.

Yelp
We haven't visited for at least 10 years and we're very surprised by how much it changed. Very bright and inviting with many different stores to explore. My 13 year old daughter had a great time shopping for her birthday. We will definitely visit again!

Amy S.

Yelp
The restrooms downstairs at Arden Mall are in desperate need of an upgrade. They are often dirty, and the limited number of stalls leads to unnecessarily long wait times, especially during busy hours. It's frustrating to have to stand in line for so long especially with kids just to use the restroom. For a mall of this size and popularity, better maintenance and more stalls are essential. Please prioritize improving this for your customers

Loredo L.

Yelp
I like this old school indoor mall. It's got an Apple store and a great food court which is where I usually frequent. The place is clean, modern, safe, and everyone is friendly.

Evelyn W.

Yelp
I love shopping here, I also love eating there. There's an upstairs where there's a whole Lotta food and it's so good. But watch out so many stores are expensive.

Darlyn C.

Yelp
This mall is pretty small and has a great assortment of shops to choose from. The restaurants attached on the outside are one of my favorite features of this place! Definitely recommend!

Mai Y.

Yelp
Worst Santa photo experience ever! We reserved and paid for a 1:15 PM slot but still had to wait in line with everyone else for 15-30 minutes. While multiple photos were taken, we weren't allowed to choose our favorite, and the staff selected one where the kids' eyes were half-closed for our package, forcing us to purchase a different package just to get the better poses. To top it off, the staff was unfriendly, making the entire experience extremely disappointing!!!

Jeffrey C.

Yelp
It's... k. Got a Macy's that drives most of the shopping. Got a buncha food places that are good fast-casual. Got a nice outdoor area that lifts it up. Got parking. Good for a hangout with casual friends!

Stephanie-San Y.

Yelp
Yes favorite place to go to when I get bored! Enough my walking with my Apple Watch and look some new stuff like Hot Topics and Box Lunch favorite shops to go too! The services is get here, managers and crews are super friendly and loved to help the customers! The value isn't that bad, it's the mall price but they have far lots of discounts which I can spend on.

Yelp
Oh man.....Arden Fair Mall.... Been here a LONG time. My wife and I used to live 1 mile down near Cal Expo when we first moved to Sac in 2000. We loved it cuz we never really had a big mall in Chico. Chico Mall is small. Lol. We used to shop, eat like weekly back in the days. Traffic was always bad. During one Xmas, my wife insisted we go shopping for Xmas gifts. Never again. Some fool stole my parking spot while I was waiting for it. I lost my shit. Won't go into details but I told her I would never drive on any busy weekend/holiday ever again. F**k that. Truth. Even on a weekday. I would come for free preview screenings and learned fast to drive near Best Buy side near Kinko's or just enter Wyda Way near the back to get to the movies in the back. Same with Sears pickup when that was a thing. Lol. The Mall is very clean. However, riff raff and a shooting by Champs happened back over 10 years ago was a concern. Too many 'hood turds using it was there hangout. Security was beefed up after that and Xmas incidents and it is now better. Food court has some mainstays but mostly just the big ones stay and the smaller eateries change over time. Shops are pretty much that same way. Some mainstays and many smaller ones changed. Only came here recently on the way to find ONIT Yelp Elite Event.

Youssef A.

Yelp
Nice small mall excepted the one part of the parking of the mall has no lights at night so you may wanna move your car before dark plenty of homeless harmless people. Parking OK clean it plenty of parking. BJ's restaurant seems to be at the star of the mall with excellent food including a pizza for 110 cal made from cauliflower crust. See my separate review. Wall was clean inside with seating areas through out.

Nicola G.

Yelp
I had dinner at BJs in Arden Fair Mall and my waitress was awesome. She was efficient and had a lot of customer service. Her name was Emma. She checked on us and made sure our order was correct. I live out of Sacramento, but if I go back, I would definitely ask for Emma. She makes sure our dinner is hot and accurate. Thank you, Emma.

Trice O.

Yelp
Unfortunately this mall is going down. I only visit to go to Sephora, for the most part. I miss Nordstrom, that was my favorite store. Now all they have are tennis shoe and cellphone stores. I really hope that Elk Grove considers building a mall or are malls becoming a thing of the past?

Anne S.

Yelp
The pics and reviews of this mall don't do it justice. This mall is big, clean, shiny, with great stores. I'm in from out of town and was skeptical about this mall, but it's gorgeous. It even has a GEN Korean BBQ (a fave of mine in LA). Their Christmas decor is very cute and festive.

Manmir A.

Yelp
Visited here several times, nice mall. It has been around for some time or atleast looks like it. Parking can get sparse during busy areas. There is a lot going on in the area, plenty of eateries, entertainment, and exploring.

Celeste R.

Yelp
Clean, lots of choices to shop. I felt safe walking around with my husband. They gave some beautiful Holiday displays

Adrian P.

Yelp
It's a mall, what do you expect LOL. Parking is usually easy to find, just remember where you parked! The food isn't memorable, but it gets the job done. Prices are slightly higher than what you would like, and the people are ok. I have seen sketchy stuff on the news, but I personally have never seen anything crazy while there. If you need gifts, need a walk, want to window shop, or need a change of vibe, then come explore Arden mall. There is some cool wall art to at least entertain your eyes. There is also a kid area where they can play, just bring hand sanitizer.

Paula S.

Yelp
J C PENNY'S HAIR SALON I was referred to a stylist by a friend, her name was Ellie I have found a lovely new woman to take care of my needs. Ellie did a conditioning process on my heavily bleached hair. She later cut and styled my hair and I couldn't be happier

Owen R.

Yelp
It's definitely not a bad or particularly boring mall, I take my nieces there all the time and they love it! It's a fairly busy mall, so I suggest going there on a weekday. The mall has a good mix of local shops and big corporations, and the food court has good variety; my nieces and I go to the cinnabon every time we go to the mall. I've had an overall good experience at Arden Fair, I think the only negative experience I had here was at a shop called Hey Mochi (?) or something like that. 4/5 stars because there's no arcade or anything here.

Sadig A.

Yelp
Your typical mall setting if you're into cruising around at the mall. It seemed a bit dead and outdated, but it does the job if you're looking to spend some money.

Ashley-David D.

Yelp
Excellent selection. The Arden Fair Mall is clean and well-lit. Prices are a bit high, but it's a shopping mall, so prices are generally higher. Arden Fair Mall has great security, but it used to be a lot better. Overall, it's a nice place to shop. Highly recommended!

Jazzy L.

Yelp
Was a good mall it had plenty of shops to go shop at it had a good food court. I like how this place looks really clean. It has two story which i like. It is in a good spot because most shops are around the area.

Gillian A.

Yelp
TL;DR: don't bother coming here if you can drive to Galleria. This place went very downhill. Musky smell in the mall, children running around in crowded walkways while their parents seem to have no care in the world about it. Some stores like Sephora are trashed. An uncomfortable amount of security people walking around the place. There are some things that haven't changed though, like drivers being really stupid thinking that there is only parking in front of the mall when there is plenty of parking in the Sears/Macy's sides (though I now don't recommend parking in the Sears side after seeing broken car window glass on the floor.....just park at Macy's lol). Honestly really sad to see the mall how it is now being ruined by people especially when this mall had significant interior renovation a few years back. Never had a chance. Might as well drive 25 min to Galleria mall.

Crystal S.

Yelp
I love the area, and this particular Mall. But as of today, on September 19,2024. On a Thursday, I was sitting outside of Macy's waiting on it to open up, because I heard about a new store that's opening there, and the Manager said she needed workers. I'm dressed to the 9, I had finished my breakfast, it's obvious I'm not a thug or homeless solicitor. So the young, prejudice, officer walks past me, he wasn't satisfied until he asked me out of all other people, was I waiting on Macy to open? I said yes, because I am looking for the new store. He said he hadn't heard about a new store. I had to literally say, I wasn't homeless, it didn't matter to him, he wanted to profile and make me feel uncomfortable. It's disgusting how there are no blacks working in there only a few, it's disgusting to hate anyone for their skin color, but what's even sicker to bother someone that's NOT a threat. That was my right to sit down and eat. I wasn't bothering or hurting anyone.

Iris T.

Yelp
Was here pre Covid & noticed many stores are empty. We only pop in here for Lululemon & 85°C. There are much better malls. Where do the residents shop? Noticed the seating areas & benches are gone except in the food court & outside 85°C.

Risya L.

Yelp
I like this mall, there are some times that feel more drab then others but like every store gives pretty good service, the place is clean and they have some good stores inside not to mention some new ones coming in as well. This place is always crowded and that's okay it's the closest mall to civilization lol. I really enjoy shopping at Lane Bryant here with their selection being more desirable to the Elk Grove selection, play box lunch is an awesome shop. Food court I can pass on, it's just meh. Close to a lot of fun things.

Candace C.

Yelp
Love my local mall and have for almost 20 years and surprised I hadn't written a review! I'm sad my favorite store (Nordstrom) is gone but that's business. Arden Mall is always clean, adequate, present security staff, most all the spaces are occupied with businesses, and the cleaning staff is seen all over the mall, like Santa Elves...they are on it. If I have questions, kiosk operators, store staff or Arden Mall staff are always happy to help. We live in a time where unfortunately service can be at a low, and I've yet to experience that at Arden Mall. I appreciate the variety of goods and services for my entire family, right in my local community instead of heading to travel to other cities. Thanks, Arden Mall!

Aziz H.

Yelp
I was shopping at the Arden Mall Macys mens deportment i found everything alright store was nice clean and organized good customer service in mens suits . when I went to the Mens shoes unfortunately I thought I was in Walmart. I did not received good customer service from the Lady she was working at the shoes . she wasn't helpful and did not answer my question she talk to her self and walk away from me wow ! I ask her again can you please bring this shoe in size 9 ? she without checking her back stock told me I do not have that size you're looking for. WOW! Seems like she owns Macy's

Bryan M.

Yelp
The best mall I have ever been at lots of stores, discounts I'm glad I have been here

Ay N.

Yelp
Eli Cafe is a really cute new place, but there's NO reason why this tuna sandwich should be $9.

Jason J.

Yelp
My partner is working a seasonal job, and the first thing I noticed was the lack of interest in ensuring the safety of their own employees and store employees. Each minute, consistent COVID-19 violations are happening here, and I have no idea why they are not being shut down by the County. Why do they continue to allow unmasked shoppers throughout the mall?

Taylor M.

Yelp
It's a decent sized mall. It has two floors. The first floor is mostly clothing and cosmetics. They have a Disney store here. The one at the Roseville galleria closed. Many of my favorite stores are here such as Hot Topic, and Boxlunch. There are two candy stores (one on each floor) and a bakery on the first floor by Macy's. The food court has a variety of food.

Sandy M.

Yelp
1.8.2022 What happened to Nordstrom? JC Penney and Macys are still here! I know it's been awhile since walking through the mall but what happened? Some stores are gone, some closed but many are open.

Richard W.

Yelp
A nice place to have gathering and weekends with friends and family. This place has a lot of our memories and Barnes and Nobles is still standing here. People come with smiles, and leave with bigger smiles. I love this place!

Aracely V.

Yelp
it's a nice place and they have a couple good stores the only problem is all the kids that come here and like to fight and just mess around which kind of ruins the whole thing, the security staff is great, very sneaky because you never see them but they're everywhere lol

Lowkey D.

Yelp
This place kind of reminds me of the west Des Moines mall in Iowa. Kind of a smaller layout though. It's not a bad place, just feel like they're trying too hard...you know like when you promise you can handle 30 mins but when you perform you're only a 3 pump chump... Pros: the most anime stores I've ever seen in one mall. Also the only mall I've been too that has gen Korean bbq, which is adequate if you are in a pinch to show off your chop stick skills to your friends. They also have a 85 bakery. Cons: you can taste the COVID in the air when walking around, feels like you're in an airplane and someone starts coughing and you know you're about to get 2 more weeks of vacation...I mean telework. Please ventilate this mall a smidge better.

Alayna D.

Yelp
Decent selection but absolutely none of the employees looked like they wanted to be there. Incredibly frowny and disinterested when helping me and some of my friends.

Tenise B.

Yelp
This salon is ! Owner, Larae offers a barber service, make-up artist, nail technician, wigs, hats and truly exceptional customer service. The staff welcomes you on sight and gets you started on a fantastic voyage of transformation. Canada is a great hair stylist and colorist. She took her time and I'm satisfied with her skills. Barberman, Zay is like the artist, Picasso of cuts and beards. I saw three culturally diverse clients walk in and strut out. Gettin' their swag on. Go see Larae and tell her Tenise told me to come in. Thanks Larae and staff!

Nic C.

Yelp
The food court is impressive. Excellent soul food. Fun shopping. Gorgeous environment. Excellent way to get 10,000 steps in easily, too!

Audrey L.

Yelp
I'm here in Sacramento on a business trip and decided to explore the city a bit. I'm actually staying out in Folsom which is a nice little town 30 minutes from the Sacramento airport. There is only so much you can do in this little town so I decided to check out. The nearest mall. Went on Yelp for some guidance, and that's how I found Arden Fair Mall. So I look at the reviews as I always do before I go anywhere. I was excited because I saw that they had a Nordstrom, an Apple store, Sephora, a J. Crew, Etc. And thought this is going to be a nice experience. *sigh* I was wrong. Although this mall had the basics in regards to stores and the ambiance of the mall appeared to be "high end", this mall totally was not. Especially because this mall has a Seasons 52.... it was heart breaking... it was a total tease. Walked into Nordstrom and they did not have the brands that I am use to. I was looking at the make up and not one sales associate greeted me nor approached me to ask if I needed help. Walked into Sephora and the selection was t the greatest either. The upside to Sephora was that the greeter actually greeted me. The mall was just super crowded for a Tuesday evening. Then again, people were probably shopping for last minute Valentine's Day gifts. I would give this mall a second chance. But next time I may come back during the day. Enjoy!!
