We have visited many restaurants around the world, including those ones in Marbella, and This was NOT worth the amount paid! We were 3-tree persons and paid 627,- € from A la carte. Ok, we had a good wine cost 165,- but come on. Risotto with Alba tartufo was so small so we had to order more. The same with steak tartar mentioned as main course, was the same minimalistic portion. When it came to the “Sommelier” (which cannot be) it was so unprofessional. IF Areia are aiming for a star, there is a long way to go! The only nice thing was the ambience, location, colours and furnitures. All in all it was a ripoff!
NOTE! I saw your answer and you are NOT correct saying " we served a double portion". The first serving was far away to small, and we complained. Then we asked for more, which was likely the same small portion, and all good. But, you charged us half price for a half portion, so again, not correct what you say. All in all, this has NOTHING to do with "satisfying my appetite" but more related to serving what is expected in relation to what you charge!
