Went here today for lunch and it was absolutely amazing! Amazing food and the young lady who served us was even better. She helped us pick the items to eat and we tried a bunch of different things. Will def be back!

I absolutely love this place! The service is consistently amazing, everyone is so friendly and welcoming that it immediately feels like home. The food is even better. Their arepas are truly authentic, packed with flavor, and made with so much care. Every bite tastes fresh and delicious. The cocktails are also outstanding, and I highly recommend trying the sangria—it's one of the best I’ve had. This restaurant has become one of my favorites, and I can’t wait to go back!

Found this hidden little gem tucked away on a side street in Roswell, Georgia. Delicious Venezuelan food. Warm and inviting, we spent a delightful Saturday evening during the holidays, sipping wine and sharing several different little dishes, each bursting with flavors.

[This is NOT an Artificial Intelligence AI generated review but a real world Chuck Whigham review.] We were working in Roswell, Georgia at Fortec 4x4 Custom Jeeps on customer's 2022 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392. My wife used Google Maps to locate a good local and non-chain place to eat. She found Arepa Gill Kitchen and Wine which was less than 0.5 mile away. Arepa Grill Kitchen and Wine is a fusion of two rich gastronomic cultures- Venezuela and Spain. Your palate can experience authentic and iconic appetizers, entrees, and desserts that have deep Venezuelan and Spanish influence. It is a simple, casual, comfortable and cozy eatery with great food, drinks, and beverages served in a beautiful and comfortable dining and bar area. They have a very nice menu that is not too busy but it has something for everyone including unique menu items. They are known for their irresistible arepas to iconic dishes like paella and delicious tapas. All of the food is full of a fusion of Venezuelan and Spanish flavor for an awesome culinary experience. You can have a delicious and fabulous meal coupled with warm, extremely friendly, and attentive customer service. The establishment is definitely a popular place with the locals and it is definitely a refreshing change from the chains! It can get very busy in there and so arrive early- even better make reservations and you won't be disappointed! Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by Marlis, Host. She was very friendly, pleasant, professional, and had a genuine smile. It was a Thursday around 01:30 PM and we were immediately seated and provided with both the Lunch and Dinner menus and our beverage orders taken. Marlis was also our server and she immediately provided us with our beverages- Water, no ice, and four lemons. She immediately brought out our beverages as well as some Sweet Potato Nachos and several dipping sauces. My wife told her that we had located them via Google Maps and I asked her for her personal recommendations and favorites. She directed us to the various Bowls and Sandwiches that they prepare and recommended the Pabellon Bowl with Pollo (Chicken) and the Pepito Sandwich with Coleslaw. We rarely order appetizers but they sounded and looked so delicious. A couple behind me had two bowls of soup that looked very interesting. I asked Marlis what it was and she indicated that it was Tomato Soup which I ordered as an appetizers to share. For my wife's entree, she ordered the Pabellon Bowl with Chicken and I ordered the Pepito Sandwich with Coleslaw. Everything was absolutely delicious and our meals were prepared, portioned, cooked to perfection, and served hot. We completely devoured everything which was so tasty and delicious. Marlis was very attentive, friendly, efficient, and happy to help! The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. In short, the fabulous food and friendly customer service made for an phenomenal culinary and dinning experience! We will definitely be returning here when we are back at Fortec 4x4 Custom Jeeps to try some of their other phenomenal appetizers, entrees, and desserts.

If you love Venezuelan & Spanish flavors, Arepa Grill in Roswell is where both worlds meet. The menu is extensive (in the best way), portions are generous, prices are fair, service is fantastic (s/o to Ronald!) & the vibe is festive. This spot (that has been many things before) feels like a keeper. We can’t wait to go back for round two. Kim Tip: the Picanha Cachapas is not to be missed!

Arepa Grill is such a gem in Roswell! The food is absolutely delicious and full of flavor — the arepas are perfectly made, stuffed generously, and so fresh. Everything tastes homemade with real care. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the service makes you feel right at home. The atmosphere is casual but inviting, perfect for a quick bite or a relaxed meal. If you’ve never tried Venezuelan food, this is the best place to start, and if you’re already a fan, you’ll be impressed with the quality here. Definitely worth coming back again and again!

Yelp
An awesome addition to Roswell and to Oak Street! We were super excited to find out a Venezuelan restaurant was opening nearby and decided to try it out for a Sunday lunch. The complementary chips with sauces were a nice surprise. We tried the tequenos ($7), black vegan arepa ($10), pabellon arepa ($12), and fried yucca. Everything felt fresh and vibrant. The atmosphere felt fitting for either a date night or a dinner with friends. We appreciated that the menu had a wide variety of price points depending on if you want a casual meal or a nicer experience. Our server was friendly and thorough in offering recommendations. This was another restaurant where we talked about coming back while we were still eating. In a sea of American restaurants near downtown Roswell, this restaurant is a welcome change.

Yelp
Fortunately for me and my foodie husband, Roswell, and its surrounding areas have no shortage of solid dining options, but that never stops me from being excited when a new option pops up nearby. It was no exception when I heard about Arepa Grill Kitchen & Wine because both arepas and wine are easy things to love! Rather than brave the chaos of dining out on Valentine's Day, hubby and I decided to check out the Arepa Grill Kitchen the day before Valentine's madness, and we are likely going back again this weekend even though it has only been a few days. Yes, it was that good! I typically like to peruse a new place's menu beforehand but unfortunately, there was no menu to be found for Arepa Grill Kitchen, so I photographed every page of it during our visit to help fellow Yelpers know exactly what to expect. I was surprised at how vast and diverse the menu is. They combine both Venezuelan and Spanish cuisines and their menu is rich with options from each, so there is definitely something for every taste here and is also the reason why I am eager to go back and try even more of their offerings. The ambiance is upscale and trendy but not uptight or overdone, which makes for a nice casual and comfortable vibe. Service was good, though it was clear they were still trying to find their groove in some respects. For example, the runner brought us food ordered from a nearby table as we were getting ready to clear out our tab, which is not a big deal, but just a sign that they may still have some minor kinks to work out. The food itself was outstanding! They brought out a mix of crispy goodies like fried plantains and fried yucca along with an assortment of dipping sauces. This was a complimentary starter and we absolutely loved it. All of the sauces were delicious and paired beautifully with the crisps that accompanied it. We started out with an arepa tour and asked for one of each. We both thoroughly enjoyed all of them. My husband ordered the Pabellon Criollo big plate, which came with his much loved white rice and black beans along with shredded beef, plantains, a fried egg, and a couple of mini arepas. It looked really good and he loved it. I ordered the bacon burger and asked them to hold the lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onion. I thought it was odd that they did not ask me how I would like the burger cooked, but when it arrived, I understood why. Their burgers are not traditional burgers, which I think is important to note in this review as many people will likely assume that they are regular burgers and though I was happily surprised to learn the truth, others may not be. Being of Cuban descent and originally from Miami, I know a frita when I see one and the burger at Arepa Grill Kitchen is really a frita, not a burger. The difference is in the meat. A frita is a Latin American burger that mixes ground beef with chorizo (Spanish sausage). It is generally delicious and I love them, but I also love burgers and one thing is certainly not the other, so if you do order a burger from here, keep in mind that it will taste slightly different (a tad dryer and with a bit more kick) than a more traditional burger. It was easily the best frita I have ever had and I was tempted to return the next day for lunch just to have it again, but I want Yelpers to be aware that this is not your average burger by any means. I took a picture of it cut in half so that you can get a closer look at what I'm talking about. I highly recommend trying it and as long as you are not expecting a traditional burger, I believe you will love it as much as I did because it is genuinely finger-licking good! I was even more glad that I had asked them to hold the veggies on it because I don't think they would have paired well with it and I have never seen a frita served with anything other than the little picnic chips, which in retrospect should have been a clue for me that this was not a normal burger. Overall, we loved Arepa Grill Kitchen & Wine, and it easily slid into my list of favorites for our regular dining rotation. We are heading back soon and are looking forward to trying out more goodies on their extensive menu.

Yelp
We stopped in at Arepa Grill Kitchen & Wine (45 Oak St., Roswell), for dinner last night after reading a review by Roswell's Joe Duffy on NextDoor.com. We were VERY impressed and loved the food, the service, and the upscale casual atmosphere. Food was exceptional, with lots of variety (huge menu!) and Pedro the owner and his staff were great hosts with very insightful explanations of the items on the menu. I've had Venezuelan food many times before while on extended work assignments in Venezuela and it brought back memories of why I loved the food on every visit. This is a new go to place for us and I really hope that others can discover it soon and help to keep it thriving. Pedro and his wife have two other restaurants under the name Arepa Grill in Chamblee and Doraville. Highly recommended and definitely worth a visit.
