Just opened (!) 2 months ago, we stopped in & took the suggestion for the Arepa Pabellon -- brisket with black beans, avocado, white cheese, & cremita.
Now I can highly recommend! The arepas were crispy & held together with very little mess. The flavors were at once subtle & bold -- the pair of them was perfectly filling. Definitely use the cremita they give you, it complements the arepas well.
This is a very small location -- blink-and-you'll-miss-it. But stop in & you won't regret it. Can't wait until summer when I'm sure the large patio will have tables and umbrellas 🏖️. This is a great spot for lunch for two or solo, & I think it's got big-time staying power in Rogers Park.
Bonus: the flan sample we tried was light, jiggly, with just the right amount of sweetness.
