Google
What an incredible addition to the neighborhood. The food was FRESH and hot. Very well stuffed arepas and beautiful texture. Great sauces and very good texture on the meat in mine. Any fillings that have the grilled cheese are great. It takes a couple minutes to prepare so it’s not fast food quick but it’s worth it. We ordered and waited about 10-12 minutes. Everything was delicious. I hope they continue to stay busy.

Google
Super delicious, I would definitely go back again! Habanero hot sauce is a must for spice lovers. So flavorful and packs a punch. Minor feedback: chicken was a tad dry, though it was still tasty. Also would be nice to have silverware rather than sporks to eat with! Hope this kitchen stays around. It’s a great addition to the neighborhood.

Google
This place was a surprise for me. I didn’t know about this place. It is for my taste one of the delicious place to get a delicious Venezuelan Arepa. The menu for the different types of arepas is very diverse. The taste is extraordinary. I really felt my Venezuelan flavors.

Google
Amazing restaurant! Totally recommended and would definitely be coming back. The service is great and fast. We had our food served within 15 mins! Ordered a couple of arepas, one pabellón and one with chicharrón! Also had the yuca as an appetizer and finished with the flan and tres leches! The habanero hot sauce is very tasty if you like spicy sauce.

Google
To say the food is AMAZING is an understatement. It takes a little bit for orders to be prepared, but the wait is worth it as everything is made fresh. The service is very friendly & kind as well.

Google
Just opened (!) 2 months ago, we stopped in & took the suggestion for the Arepa Pabellon -- brisket with black beans, avocado, white cheese, & cremita. Now I can highly recommend! The arepas were crispy & held together with very little mess. The flavors were at once subtle & bold -- the pair of them was perfectly filling. Definitely use the cremita they give you, it complements the arepas well. This is a very small location -- blink-and-you'll-miss-it. But stop in & you won't regret it. Can't wait until summer when I'm sure the large patio will have tables and umbrellas 🏖️. This is a great spot for lunch for two or solo, & I think it's got big-time staying power in Rogers Park. Bonus: the flan sample we tried was light, jiggly, with just the right amount of sweetness.

Google
Arepa Pa Los Pana was so good!!! Some of the best food I've had and the customer service was amazing. We were so full after that I had to get the desserts to go.😹 If you have a chance check them out. I'll definitely be back again soon.

Google
This was the best food I've had in Chicago so far. I had the arepa pabellón and it was the perfect combination of flavors. Can't wait to try more! (my Arepa is in the background of the photo, my wife's is the one up front)

Yelp
It's a familiar Venuzuelan street food menu that is now coming to Rogers Park. Giving them the benefit of the doubt right now since they are new. Went with the pabellon arepas (they are generously sized order of two) and the pulled pork tacos. Added the sweet corn cheese arepitas to try. It's a small place and there's no restroom access, so you be prepared since you'll be eating with your hands. Trying with provided plastic forks/knives can also be a messy affair and probably not the ideal way to experience the flavor combos intended. Tacos come in three in a vertical holder on the tray. A bit messy if they drip...and whether you want that onto a napkin on the table or onto your taco holder. Or better...move the tacos in holder off the tray, and use the tray to dine over. Arepitas were fresh made and brought straight to the table - the cheese not yet having had a chance to melt on the outside. Sweet corn masa is a contrast - crispy outside and soft sweet inside (and savory cheese). Avocados in the pabellon arepas were a little on the firm side. Enough to notice, but not ruin the dining experience. It may be the number of arepa and taco choices are too long to sustain and help customers make a decision. I noticed that the veteran Cocinita in Evanston keeps a tight menu over these years from food truck to restaurant. Will like to return and try some of the other arepa/taco fillings. That and take pictures with clean hands prior to us grabbing these handhelds and stuffing our faces.

Yelp
We tried the Apurena arepa and it was delicious! Perfect meal after a day at the beach. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Unassuming spot with quality food. Literally the arepas tasted like I just touched down in Curaçao. The workers are lovely. They don't let you mix and match (which honestly would change the GAME) but it's reasonably enough priced to just get 2. I'd recommend sticking with stewed and/or shredded meats as opposed to grilled because you get more and the juice is

Yelp
Friendly service but the food was meh. The yuca fries were bland, soggy, and overpriced at $11. The arepas were ample but despite that the flavors didn't really deliver. The pabellon was decent- did enjoy the contrasts between the saltiness of the brisket and the sweetness of the maduro. The rumbera was not good- the pulled pork had no seasoning and like it came from a can.

Yelp
New favorite neighborhood spot, truly a gem and great addition to Sheridan. Get the pabellon arepa, you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Love this place. Fourth time there tonight and got fish arepa with avocado. So good. Have also had the arepa pabellón and tacos, and everything has been consistently excellent and the service very friendly. Welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Yelp
SO TASTY! Delicious food and incredible service. I tried Arepa "My Queen" and "Dulce Catira" and both were incredible. They also gave us samples of the Flan which I'm typically not a fan of but this one was spectacular. Great texture and sweetness level. I will definitely return. It's cold right now so we sat inside but the patio would be great in the summer. Pretty quiet ambiance which I appreciated.

Yelp
This place is fantastic. We tried the pabellon and fried fish arepas and both were excellent - really fresh and generous amounts of protein. Cheese empanadas were delicious. Excellent value for the money, and the service was really friendly. They were experimenting with cachapas to potentially add to the menu, and gave a sample - I hope they add them, because, wow. I hope this restaurant thrives in RP.

Yelp
We tried this new spot tonight and were completely blown away by how delicious the food is! We had the pabellón arepas, cheese and chicken empanadas and the tostones. We also got a little sample of the flan. Everything was so, so good. The service was great as well. The place is small but welcoming. I am so happy this restaurant opened in our neighborhood. We'll definitely be back to try more arepas!

Yelp
This place is DELICIOUS!! Friendly staff and AMAZING food. Great vegetarian options also.

Shayna C.

Yelp
This place is absolutely amazing!!! We had the Arepa Pabellon lunch special, which had some of the best brisket I've ever had, along with the delicious yuca fries. The staff is incredibly friendly as well. Will definitely be coming back for more tasty Venezuelan food!

River B.

Yelp
The habanero sauce is super spicy, but delicious! I highly recommend the Arepa Pabellon and the Arepa Crunchy Chicharron.

Yelp
We were passing by and had to stop for some Venezuelan food when we noticed it was open. Great service, very kind and helpful. Food was amazing with authentic flavor, totally recommend it!!! The only down side is not having a restroom.

Yelp
Had the pataconcitos and they were delicious. Have been wanting a latin american place around here for a long time, and my experience with Arepa Pa Los Pana was amazing. I look forward to returning and highly highly highly recommend trying this place out.

Brett S.

Yelp
I've eaten here a few times since they opened and I'm so excited to have food this delicious right here in my area of the neighborhood!
