Yelp
Arepa Pueblo saved my marriage.
As we were ready to drive off after leaving this place, my husband took my hand, gazed into the depths of my soul and said, "Honey, I'm so happy with you."
We didn't argue once while having lunch.
We were in a good mood for the rest of the day.
The birds were singing and the skies were blue.
We didn't even care about getting directions home afterwards, we just drove.
On our way home, we noticed a jogger and were convinced she was sprinting towards Arepa Pueblo.
Where else could she be going with such dedication?
Guys, seriously. This place.
You walk in and the place has the happiest decor, nostalgic of Venezuela.
Jeffrey was behind the counter and made recommendations, took our orders, and was so freaking patient and nice.
We got the chicken arepa with cheese, the arepa Pabellon with added avocado, a café late, tres leches, blackberry juice, and a can of Colombiana.
The Pabellon arepa has sweet plantains, shredded beef, cheese, and black beans. It was fireeee.
The chicken arepa was really good too. After we each finished our arepas, we ordered another chicken arepa and split it. The chicken was soo juicy and had amazing flavor. The coffee was delicious and the blackberry juice was natural and not too sweet. They also have a spicy sauce which is vegan and a garlic sauce that is mayo based and sooo good. It was a party in my mouth.
From the lips of my husband and the thoughts in my brain, "I haven't been this happy with a restaurant in a long time."
