This place is inside Harvest Hall by the train station. We ordered 3 Tacos, Kids Quesadilla, and the Cubano. We really enjoyed the food. The Cubano bread was more pita style than other Cuban sandwiches I've tried at other restaurants.

We came to this place when we read the reviews, but unfortunately, it can be misleading. We had the brisket arepa which had a hefty price considering its size, and it was quiet oily. Next time we'll choose another restaurant

Had the 3 tacos, tried all 3 options. The tacos were ok, not great. I squeezed the lime & added the sauce provided, just wasn't much flavor, pretty bland. Expected a bit more from street tacos. Also tried the rice & black beans that came with my boys quesadillas, also very bland, rice was overcooked. The quesadilla actually was better than the tacos. Kids options were very pricey for what it was. Wife & I also tried the elote, that was actually very good, the star of the meal, the only thing I can recommend. Was excited about trying this food court but it was a disappointment & over priced.

Great food! Had the tacos and plantains. Their Al Pastor is good, but the Carnitas are out of this world! The crispy bits in with the pork are so tasty. The plantains were perfectly fried. They are quick. Harvest Hall is always a fun place, especially with all the Christmas activities going on.

Google
Food made fresh every single day and from scratch .... you can taste the love this place is cooking with! We tried one of their bowls with an Arepa on the side and so glad we did. I will be hurrying back to try this place again!

Google
What a great find! I was looking for a gluten free place to eat and found this place. The restaurant is very bright and clean, the restroom is very bright and clean, and the staff is very friendly and attentive and greets you like you are family. The are really good at explaining the food and making suggestions. Now the best part, the food. It is a wonderful variety of choices and has a lot of gluten free options all clearly marked on the menu. I love yucca and plantain and have to say this is some of the best prepared I have ever had. The Arepa bread is perfect and tastes amazing. Prices are perfect. The cost for me, my wife and son.to have 3 entrees with 2 sides each and drinks was $45. You can't beat That! Even if you do not need gluten free you should give this place a try. I know we will be going back a lot!

Ordered Arepa entrees while at Harvest Hall. I appreciated the options available, and the items we tried were decent. Prices were high for the area however.

Google
Family owned, fast service, great prices, stunning location. Great experience here the owners were very nice and helpful. The food was delicious and filling. If you are in the area stop by and get something to eat.

Yelp
Located in Harvest Hall, Arepa is a small food stall serving a variety of different arepas. Chicken, pork, veggie you name it. I tried the Chicken Arepa and it was filled with chicken, avocado, tomato, lettuce, and sauce. The Arepa was little dry, but still good enough to eat. Service was quick and I got my food in no time. Overall, I think this a great spot for a late night snack!

Yelp
Harvest Hall is just a fun venue. Was here to see friends in a band play Third Rail. Fish tacos were super small but very tasty. Hot sauce is good and was a must. Staff was nice enough. Food was not ready when promised and the Toast POS text alert was apparently slow to go through.

Yelp
Honestly worst arepas I've had so far. Rice wasn't fully cooked and hard. They definitely made this more American style with their cheddar cheese add. In addition they give you NO sauce with your meal which usually arepas come with a really good garlic cilantro sauce. The arepa had a burned taste to it. Price was twice as much as in Tulsa. I can't wait till a good arepa place opens in DFW. So disappointed after having amazing arepas in Tulsa

Yelp
Located inside the Harvest Hall food area. I went with the brisket arepa sandwich and it was a great portion size. My plus one got the grilled chicken arepa sandwich. It was very filling, both sandwiches were missing the sauce that was supposed to be on them. No explanation was given on why it was missing and they had no substitutions for us upon asking after realizing it was missing. Overall would eat again.

Quiana T.

Yelp
It's all in the sauce! The chimichurri was like the chefs kiss to a good arepa. Personally, I had to remove all of the extras (lettuce, tomato, and guacamole) but the chicken was well marinated. The dining hall is a nice plan to dine and enjoy a flavorful meal. The vibe was nice and family friendly.

Yelp
One of the many great options at Harvest Hall, walking in, Arepa was the first place to catch my eye, so I decided to check it out. With so many good options to choose from and since I've never had an arepa before, I defaulted to it instead of any the delicious-sounding sandwiches, tacos, and burritos on the menu. What a tasty...thing! An arepa is a stuffed cornmeal cake popular in Columbia and Venezuela, which makes sense why it would be popular as a street food item. The Brisket Arepa that I ordered was packed full of smoked brisket and the chimichurri sauce that came with it had the perfect level of spiciness to it. I look forward to trying more of Arepa's menu on the next Harvest Hall visit.

Yelp
First time trying this place; ordered a Cuban sandwich and Elote. Cuban was the worst I've ever had. Terrible. Didn't even eat half of it...and with a price of $13.95! Oof! The bread ain't right. Elote was good.

Yelp
My wife had the chicken quesadillas and I had a pulled pork dish. Neither of us wanted to finish the dishes. So much for that 50.00 tab. Probably won't return. Not the friendliest staff either.

Brian K.

Yelp
These arepas are legit. Just seeing them cook the pork is worth some kind of admission, they should really sell tickets. My wife is gluten free and from south Florida, so we eat a LOT of arepas. I found this place on the opening day of the train station and couldn't wait to bring her. My daughter and I made a video about the train station. Check it out here: https://youtu.be/FtcR37qSlbs

Yelp
The arepa was as dry and flavorless as sand and the brisket fatty. The young woman was not interested in taking my order nor handing my food off to me. Cannot recommend the food or the customer service.

Yelp
Best lunch I've had in a dang long time!! Literally the best arepa I've tasted and will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu! Located in Harvest Hall at Hotel Vin. Lots of seating, super clean, and service is quick!!

Gary P.

Yelp
We normally get the sandwiches, which can be very tasty. We've had a little trouble with consistency though, and sometimes you can get some big chunks of fat or the meat can be a little dry. But overall, a decent place to stop for a bite of lunch. Gluten free options for those that need it.

Katie B.

Yelp
Service was pretty fast. Side of guacamole and salsa was good and plenty. Chicken was not shredded lots of cheese. I would definitely like to try more menu options!

Yelp
Arepa is located in the Harvest Hall in the new Grapevine train station. They serve some authentic latin cuisine with generous portions. I tried Arepa on a rainy weekday after wandering the food hall and looking at all of the options. Arepa was my second pick, but my first pick closes in the middle of the day to prep for dinner, sadly. They did lose a star for service, as the girl at the counter was not friendly at all, did not greet me, did not offer to explain anything, and was barely intelligible when she did speak. They technically lose another 1/2 star for price, as it was close to $20 for one arepa and a side of yucca fries with a cup for water. I know it's Grapevine, but dang, y'all. Since I can't rate 3.5 stars on Yelp, I rounded up cause I like to be nice. ;) The food was very good, and the chimichurri sauce for dipping the fries was so good I could drink it! The fries were hot and fluffy on the inside, but could have used a little salt. The arepa was tasty, but almost impossible to eat. They should definitely serve it in a larger container so you can cut it up to eat, as picking it up is really not an option unless you want your food all over your lap. Overall it was quite good, but I think I'll try something else next time I stop in at Harvest Hall.

Yelp
Listen homies, this place is inside the Hotel Vin. They have a food court with a bunch of little restaurants. So if you follow google directions you may spend a few minutes trying to figure out where this place is . Great lunch or casual/informal dinner. The food it's all good here and prices are reasonable. I got Grill chicken arepa, Baja taco and carne mechada taco. All very tasty. Definitely will eat here again... seems like a great place to come if you are drunk or want a filling snack... specially if you are staying at the hotel.

Alejandra C.

Yelp
First time at this place & they had such great service! Loved the paleta de fruta. Definitely recommend :)

Yelp
Staying at the attached Vin Hotel and had dinner here. I ordered the Brisket Arepa. The dough is white cornmeal fried. I think it could had used some butter and salt, and perhaps it would taste better. The cornmeal was very difficult to cut with flimsy plastic fork and knife. The green sauce was good. Lots of fatty pieces of brisket so I wasn't a fan. Ordered French fries from the Mediterranean place around the corner. Fries were ok too. Food was just ok overall, but I don't think I will be back to order again.

Yelp
We decided to try Harvest Hall on a weekday so we wouldn't be caught up in a crowd trying to maneuver around. Since we're newbies we needed to take our time and walk around each food option at least twice. I was intrigued with an arepa which is a corn pancake. We split a Cuban sandwich with yuca fries. The chimchurri sauce was excellent. It was yummy, filling and full of meat. The price seemed fine for the food and experience. The only thing that could be improved upon which may not even be a restaurant issue is they take your order then text you when it's ready. We ordered from several different places so when the text came it didn't specify which restaurant it came from so we had to walk around checking.

Yelp
Soy Venezolana y son las mejores arepas que he comido en mi vida, comí la de brisket y fue lo máximo elevado a la 1000 de segundo la de ensalada de pollo que su sabor se asemeja a la ensalada de gallina con aguacate

Sara L.

Yelp
This place is awesome!! We are regulars and the food is delicious, but what keeps us coming back is the service. Ashley is always happy to see us and welcomes us like family! She's a shining star!!! Arepas at Harvest Hall is a must!!!

Mike S.

Yelp
I got the Cuban and it looked better than it was. The bread was good but the meat was a little dry and the cheese was stringy with no flavor. I would pass, but it did look very good.

Don R.

Yelp
I really like the atmosphere at Harvest Hall, and decided to try Arepa TX this visit. Overall, I find the prices to be a little high for what you get, but the flavors are good, and there are many unique items. I selected a Cuban Arepa Sandwich, which includes all the typical Cuban Sandwich ingredients, but instead of bread is between two masa patties. All the flavors were very good, but the masa, while good, didn't deliver the crunch that I'm craving from a typical Cuban Sandwich. It was also very moist and "drippy", I believe from the condensation of the warm sandwich wrapped in foil. I lower my rating to 3 stars because the service was lacking. I provided my cell# and first name when I ordered and paid, and sat close by, thinking they may call out my name, and I wanted to hear it over the growing lunch crowd. Instead, my meal sat ready, without anyone making me aware, for several minutes. When I went up to ask about my food, feeling that it was well longer than the time it should have taken, it was handed to me - and I was told that the text notifications weren't always working. (!?) OK? Overall, I liked the food, and I'll eat there again, but the service will need to be better. There are many good choices in Harvest Hall, and I won't return if the service doesn't improve.

Ashutosh S.

Yelp
Amazing food and great service. I got the cuban arepa and was really impressed with the quality of meat and sauces. They have a lot of gluten-friendly options as long as you're okay with same fryer cooking. Would definitely come back anytime I'm in the area!

Julie G.

Yelp
Great place to meet friends for lunch during the week. Good vegan options and a wide variety of food.

Stacie B.

Yelp
Super fast and friendly service and delicious food! The portion sizes are decent. Definitely worth a stop!

Yelp
Hello, I tried to contact the restaurant directly before posting this review but could not find a direct phone number. My meal was fresh. However, as I sat at a table across from the kitchen, I was disappointed to look up and see an ungloved staff member eating a sandwich in the food preparation area, which he would set down to make an order and then resume eating afterward. I also witnessed another staff member raking her hands through her hair to make and unmake and remake her ponytail in the prep area. This made me not want to patronize this business again. It's important to be clean, wear gloves, etc. I was so excited to find a place that makes arepas. I hope this review helps to address the things I witnessed.

Yelp
As a Native Californian in Texas I have come to realize good Hispanic food is few and far between out here. If you are looking for the usual disgusting texmex move along because this is not only edible but extremely delicious. Harvest hall is a great place to sit down a get work done during the weekdays so we will definitely be back.

Cindy G.

Yelp
Just want to say this place is not authentic. The food was not bad but if you are expecting a Venezuelan experience this is not the place. I think if you are going to have staff work in a place like this, please educate them. I asked for a typical Venezuelan sauce and the staff had no clue what I was talking about. It's not the staff fault. As someone with a Venezuelan significant other this was a let down.
