Argentario Golf & Wellness Resort, Autograph Collection

After a busy week in the Montepulciano area of Tuscany (incredible), we stayed for several days at the Argentario Resort, and it was perfect in many ways. The rooms are well appointed, very clean, and have everything necessary to completely relax. The property is safe, well taken care of, and has a great spa and exercise area with both indoor and outdoor pools. The breakfast buffet is great with good service. The housekeeping while we visited was extraordinary! Always on top of everything, if/when we left the room (impressive). The resort has everything needed to unwind, including great views from most rooms and especially the pool area. Highly recommend!

Service is top notch. So much attention to detail! The food on the resort was good. It is peaceful place that offers transportation (at a cost) to the local village for shopping and restaurants. They also organized a visit to a nearby winery with a driver for us The golfers in our group raved about the course. This area was our favorite part of our Italian vacation.

We stayed here before a cruise leaving from Civitacchia. I was hesitant at first because of other reviews. I'm happy we did. We were there the week before the Italian open and could see all the work they were doing to prepare. The staff was amazing with over the top service. The staff at the desk knew us by name and made sure we were enjoying our stay. They arranged transportation from the airport and to the cruise port, to the beach and to a wine tasting. We were upgraded to a small suite. The balcony overlooking the golf course was amazing and relaxing. The bartenders at the Dragonfly bar were outstanding. Limoncello martinis were our favorite! The two areas of critique I have were the indoor pool looked like it needed updating and dining options were limited. Although the food at the country club was very good. Transportation to the nearby cities was expensive. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing stay highly recommend.

The most attentive staff and helpful service. They do not miss any tiny detail in making your stay special. The location is peaceful but would not be a great base to visit larger Italian cities. The golfers in our group raved about the golf course. The food was so good. Ask them to book you at the Il Quinto Winery nearby!

The resort is set between the rolling Maremma hills and the Tyrrhenian coast, nestled into the landscape as though it has always belonged there. Its architecture rises with intention, chic yet modest, and deeply connected to its surroundings. Every detail is sleek, sustainable, and utterly unpretentious. From the reclaimed wood furniture to the discreetly integrated photovoltaic panels, the suite speaks to conscious luxury, not extravagance. The design of this place whispers its commitment to the earth, and it felt immediately clear that Argentario believes, like us, that sustainability isn’t a trend, but a way of life

We stayed for a few days in December and it was a major highlight of the trip. The golf course is stunning and fun to play. The course is very well maintained and our rental clubs did not disappoint (which really is saying a lot!) The food was absolutely perfect, fresh, special and tasty (we only had breakfasts and meals at the clubhouse since we were visiting at an off time but I really do miss the food). However, the best part was the staff. We were extremely well taken care of, my infant son was treated like a prince, and every single person we met was kind, helpful and genuinely pleased to be of service. I've visited a lot of nice places, but the difference at the Argentario was the genuine care of the staff. They were also super cool about us practicing Italian. The rooms were also very well done and the grounds were quite enjoyable to walk. We also brought back a lot of their olive oil because it was that well-flavored! Would absolutely recommend and we plan to come back next time we are in Italy.

The worst Marriott property I have ever stayed in. Rooms dirty with ants and spiders in them. AC never worked so our room was 24C at all times. Staff was rude and charged additional €150/night for “hidden fees”.

The Argentario Golf Resort and Wellness Center is a Marriott hidden gem. We hope Marriott will continue to invest in this property as it doesn't quite have the feel of a traditional, funky Autograph Collection hotel. Private hotel villas are under construction on a nearby hillside and should be finished in 2026.||Although the weather wasn't warm and sunny during our 5-night October stay, we enjoyed the resort and its amenities completely The staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient. The golf course is gorgeous and rates are very reasonable for hotel guests. The spa is outstanding......quiet and relaxing, offering a nice variety of treatments with skilled, cross-trained technicians and premium products. Giorgio, the manager, is very hands-on,,,,,morning, noon, and night, checking staff efficiency and chatting with guests to ensure stays are going well and expectations are being met. The complimentary breakfast was substantial. We enjoyed excellent meals and service at Dama Dama and the Clubhouse restaurant. In typical European style, no full-service restaurant is open between 5-7:30 pm. We recommend this hotel and will return.

Absolutely fabulous resort. The island (well, I still call it an island although it's connected to the mainland by a couple of bridge-like roads) is so peaceful, my husband and I really got the relaxation we were hoping for. Everything is beautiful here. The rooms are very modern and comfortable, our private balcony was lovely. We golfed, took walks, worked out at the gym, swam, played billiards and ping pong, and had the most fab dinner at the restaurant. And the breakfast was one of the best we've had in our 3 weeks in Tuscany. The staff was super friendly, extra shout out to Sabrina at front desk! Highly recommend this special place!

Staff there are magnificent- always smiling and helpful and the food was good. The views from the golf course were fabulous but in late August the course condition was disappointing. We did have the course almost to ourselves though and the price was reasonable. The main reason for less stars is the furniture in our room was very tired. We did not have a comfortable sitting chair in the living area and the cushions in the couch were very flat and sunken. We both also broke out in bed bug bites two days after our first night...yuck. For those reasons, I would not recommend it for such a high price or any price.
