"The original Aria Wine Bar is in the West Village, and this Hell’s Kitchen location is essentially a clone. The ceilings are a little higher, and the space is less cramped - but they serve the same menu, and, just like the other location, there are little wooden tables and exposed brick walls covered in wine bottles. Also, the pastas here are only $14 - and they’re pretty solid. Just be sure to make a reservation if you’re stopping by before a show, because there tends to be a wait." - Bryan Kim

A beautiful display of Sicilian cuisine. Presentation is A+, service is extremely attentive and atmosphere cozy and comfortable. We ordered several small plates which we recommend you do so that you get a flavor of many different dishes.

This place is a gem in the heart of hells kitchen off the ave. Super friendly and considerate staff, food is exceptional for a great price. The eggplant with goat cheese is insanely delicious and the pastas are so fresh you can almost see through them. I want to try them all!

Loved the wine, food, and service here! The presentation and taste of everything we ordered was amazing, especially the eggplant appetizer dish (I would return just to eat this again with a glass of wine)! The waiters were also very attentive and kept clearing out used plates and glasses promptly and checking if we wanted to order more. We spent more than 4 hours there!

I was visiting family in NYC this past weekend and we ate here Saturday night. This was by far THE. BEST. FOOD. I’ve ever had. We were served by the owner or manager. He was kind, and totally gave us the best advice on what dishes were the best and he wasn’t wrong. If there was a sign outside that said you could only eat inside if you wore a swimsuit, I’d have run to the nearest store and bought a swimsuit just to enjoy the lamb and risotto. Not to mention the grilled octopus salad “chefs kiss”!! So if you are needing a spot to eat before heading to a show, this is the spot. And listen to your server and eat the specials. Plus the wine pairing knowledge, magnificent!!!! I will recommend this spot to anyone I know that is headed in to NYC!!

Update: we dine here all the time but this time we decided to take out. We were sent to the sister restaurant Briciola. What a joke - the fish was tiny and there was barely any salad. Lost another star for this The ambiance was great. From the start everything was great. The wine we chose was perfect for us. We started with the shrimp scampi and grilled eggplant, which by the was my absolute favorite! We then also ordered the tagliatelle bolognese and one of their specials, which was a truffle gnocchi dish. The tagliatelle was good, but the gnocchi hit the spot for me. So rich, flavorful, and just delicious. I probably would have been happier splitting the gnocchi because the entire dish might be a bit to rich for one sitting, but I loved it! Would love to come back to try other dishes for sure.

Google
We have been scouring our credit card receipts trying to find this place we visited 2 years ago-( my son had the gnocchi last time and has been talking about it ever since. It was all he wanted for his 16th birthday.) It’s SO good! We had the Gnocchi and the octopus salad. Both incredible. I cannot understand why it’s not five star reviews all the way. Such memorable food and leagues better than the other restaurants close by. Probably coming back again this week. Absolutely love this place.

Google
What a lovely place! The food is delicious, the service outstanding and the whole atmosphere simply great. My favorite italien restaurant in Hell's Kitchen!

Google
You really can’t find better Italian food in Hell’s Kitchen. Portions are large and selection is vast, and most important the food is good. Great wine selection and super friendly staff.

Yelp
Had a late lunch here. The first thing that stood out to me about Aria was the open setting of the entrance, which allows you to dine inside yet still feel like you're seated outside and enjoy the weather. We were in time for happy hour, and so I enjoyed a glass of Pinot Grigio and Montepulciano, which were lovely. We shared two of the specials, the Proscuitto and Burrata and the Grilled Octopus Salad. Both were great, especially the fresh vegetables on the octopus. I do wish they used a different kind of tomato for the prosciutto, but it was still great.' Our server was courteous and prompt with helping our table. I would recommend this little spot if you're looking for some casual yet delicious light Italian bites in the area!

Yelp
Came back here for a second meal and it did not disappoint. I had 3 choices to choose from and it was so hard to decide, but I finally went with the lamb shank and risotto (again). It was so good last time, I couldn't pass it up. My friend had the seafood pasta which was delicious and we had the meatballs app to start. While the app was good, $16 is a lot for only 5 small meatballs. For dessert we had the chocolate souffle and strawberry ricotta cheese cake, equally delicious. The service was very kind, patient and attentive. Love the indoor space but we sat outside since the weather was beautiful. Great wine selection as well, would definitely recommend.

Yelp
The service at Aria is always top tier!! Not only is the staff amazing and attentive everytime i visit, but the food is so great! I could never reccomend aria's enough.

Yelp
Excellent food, service (very accommodating), ambiance (warm, welcoming). Have been there a number of times and it never disappoints. I've had grilled octopus, lamb shanks, mushroom bruschetta. We keep coming back. They kept us, a party of twelve, very happy

Yelp
10/10. This place is AMAZING. From the atmosphere, to the service, to the food and drinks, it's the perfect spot for a cozy, delicious dinner. Our group was larger, so we sat at the high top right next to the bar (though, arguably most everything is near the bar). Water was brought right away, along with menus and the specials board. I loved that it was handwritten! We started off with some drinks (which I forgot to get photos of) and then started to explore the menu. To start, we got the prosciutto special and the grilled octopus salad special. While we were waiting, they brought bread (YES) and olive oil + balsamic. I probably could have just eaten the bread but, alas, there was pasta, so I held off from devouring all of it. The two specials they brought were so good. I have had a lot of prosciutto and burrata starters, and this one is right up there with the best of them! But the tastiest was the grilled octopus salad. We had a few people who were not fans of octopus, but they tried it and were blown away by how flavorful it was! Grilled perfectly, with great but not overpowering seasoning. It was incredible. We still had pasta to order! And I don't know what I was expecting, but all the pasta was listed at the same price, and from previous experience I just assumed that the portions would be tiny, so each of us ordered a dish and then decided to share. That was our biggest mistake, because when the pasta came out, the portions were much larger than we expected! I got the tagliatelle bolognese (I personally think a great way to judge an Italian restaurant is by their bolognese sauce), while others got the menu gnocchi dish, the gnocchi special, the truffle Mac and cheese, the Orecchiette Salsiccia e Rapini, and another bolognese. oh my gosh. Everything was fantastic. Like, could not stop eating even though we were already maxed out on stomach space. The bolognese was wonderful, the gnocchi was pillowy (oh my gosh the black truffle gnocchi special), everything we had was so dreamy. The worst part was having to leave behind the pasta we couldn't finish (we tried so hard to eat it all) because we were heading out to a jazz club and couldn't bring it with us. Definitely check this place out if you are a fan of Italian. It won't disappoint!

Yelp
A quaint Italian restaurant with delicious fresh pasta and delicious dishes. The service is excellent, the staff is friendly and the dishes were amazing. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
This place is in the Heart of Hell's Kitchen and has such a warm friendly environment, Mark is one of the nicest people around and will always accommodate. The food price point is below average for the area so the cheque is very affordable and the food is STUNNING, every time. We go for the Branzino and Lamb Shank Risotto every time lol and it's always CONSISTENTLY good.

Rachel Gama ..

Yelp
Such a great place! Such a warm and welcoming environment! So cozy, great food, and great music! I would recommend this place to everyone!

Yelp
Aria is an awesome Italian dining experience. First of all, the restaurant had a nice relaxed neighborhood vibe with a nice wine and bar selection. The host and servers were super friendly and paid attention to details. We had a party of 4 adults and 2 kids, but they accommodated us promptly, even without a reservation. But now to the food... We started with the Tuna Tartare that also had avocado, capers and green sauce and crostinis--amazing. There were several depths of flavors going on that made this dish a perfect starter. I'm normally not a seafood person, but I made sure that I finished this dish. My party tried several pastas: Orichietti with Salciccia and Broccoli Rabe, Tagliatelle Bolognese and the Spaghetti and Meatballs. One of us also got the daily Bistecca special and it was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Roasted beets and roasted potatoes were ordered for sides. All were delicious! (Sorry, I forgot to take pictures before we started eating!) Definitely a great place to grab dinner or lunch, or evening drinks. I'll have to try dessert the next time I'm in NYC!

Sam L.

Yelp
We had a wonderful dinner here - sat at the bar. Service was attentive but not unhurried - these days it's rare to not feel rushed in an NYC restaurant. Great space - a subway tiled bar, low lighting, and plenty of brick. We ordered the octopus (one of the best I've had recently, and I'm a huge octopus fan), a crisp beet salad, the truffle gnocchi (decadent), and the orecchiette with sausage (cooked perfectly al dente). We'll be back!

Cynthia M.

Yelp
A quaint Italian restaurant with shareable dishes. The food was delicious and the service, top notch! My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Stop in if you are in the area!

Yelp
As a new explorer of places to dine in the city, I came across Aria Hell's Kitchen after catching a show. Even at this later hour, there was a good presence of folks who appeared to be enjoying themselves. I settled on a snack and a beverage to take fill in a gap after having dinner earlier in the evening. For starters, the service here couldn't have been better. The crew was extremely friendly and were very attentive. From the bar crew to the manager, they were great. I settled on a bowl of olives with feta and a side dish of lamb chops. The olive dish was far greater in volume than I expected and the approach was even better. This was served up with Feta, a bed of Spinach and a spot of what tasted like balsamic (apologies if I called the Balsamic erroneously). Nevertheless, it was a great combination. Could not finish given the portion. The Lamb chops were even better and were perfectly cooked. They were slightly dressed with an Aioli which added a nice color and flavor to the presentation. A portion of small redskinned root veggies were tasty additions. Overall, this is a very solid place which will see me again on my next jaunt to New York. I was especially impressed by the entrees being consumed by others around me. They appeared to be well prepared and from the cleaned pates, the patrons really enjoyed the array of pastas and other menu items. Aria has a great local vibe with good music in the background. Again, the team working there is outstanding and would suggest a table for those who stop in. If I had one suggestion, the bar seats could use an update as they were pretty rustic. I'll be sure to update this review once I sample an entree. Give this spot a try, it's pretty solid!

Anna K.

Yelp
Came here for a work lunch and the staff was very attentive! I ordered the grilled octopus for appetizer and it was the best octopus I've had in a long time. The baked Mac and cheese with truffles was very heavy. I couldn't finish. Staff was incredible and for that I'll be back!

Melanie L.

Yelp
Love this neighborhood gem. Food is reliable and staff is friendly. Perfect for when you have a pasta craving! Love the dark and rustic ambiance. Perfect casual date night spot.

Yelp
Tried to get a table across the street, but they had no openings at 5pm on a Thursday. Sent us here, where they had plenty of openings. Got our food within minutes after ordering, assuming the noodles were partially cooked before we ordered. Place is used to quick service and turnover for patrons attending theaters nearby. Wife's $16 Rigatoni Gamberi came with 6 grilled shrimp with rigatoni noodles in tomato sauce. My $16 tagliatelle Bolognese came with ground beef particles over a very mild tomato sauce based flat noodles. Both of us wolfed down the food in minutes after receiving it. Should have ordered $14 salad and $10 minestrone soup beforehand, as had plenty of time to make the 7:30pm show on the next block at the New Stages. Great value for the food prices. Only drawback was the napkins covered about as much as a thong bikini front, so dress in black in case of spilled speckles of sauce.

Andres

Yelp
Amazing food, ambiance me and my wife made this please our weakly cozy Italian, I'm going against my best judgement bc I don't want it to get to busy but this please needs 4.5 / 5 stars as an accurate depiction, try the bread and the bolognese

Columbia J.

Yelp
After a weary evening of elbowing our way through crowds during the peak of NYC tourist season, our dinner at Aria felt like immersion into the Fountain of Youth -- I left feeling rejuvenated and light, with a spring in my step. It's located in a more residential area within the hustle and bustle of Manhattan with a romantic, cozy ambiance. We are not usually mushroom enthusiasts outside of the Shake Shack shrooms, but the mushroom bruschetta here may have converted us. Pasta dishes are flavorful and filling; the free bread is soft and dangerously easy to keep eating. I'm glad I'm only a temporary visitor to this little street, because if I lived here, God only knows how many carbs I'd be eating on a weekly basis ...

Yelp
A friend invited me to have dinner here in a Saturday night. The place is very warmly and decorated. Great atmosphere and lights inside.. our server was amazing: super knowledgeable, sweet and professional. He explained all the specials and was always around checking us. Good very good. Steak and lamb shank very tender and cooked perfectly. Same do dessert.. so good. A wonderful experience

Ilene S.

Yelp
Fabulous place, friendly service and some excellent food. The lamp chops were by far the best item order from our table. They were cooked and seasoned perfectly. They only complaint was there were only two on the plate. The best pasta dish of the table was made in a pesto sauce. Followed by the pear salad. Which not only looked pretty but tasted amazing. Thin sliced pear over mixed greens in a balsamic vinaigrette. As for desserts we had all three. The cheesecake was my favorite. They topped it with sugar and fired it up making a hard crusty shell on top with a smooth tasty cake below.

Philippe C.

Yelp
Food is really good, staff is nice, music selection is eclectic and not super super loud. And they bring bread w/o asking for it which is rare in NYC (and really enjoyable as a French person ) We did not expect that at all so excellent surprise! They forgot a dish, the boss came to apologize and then came back to offer a dessert for free. Also rare in NYC ! You will see us again Aria

C B.

Yelp
Food - was really lovely. Well seasoned plates with fresh ingredients. Prices were also reasonable. Service - the manager was enthusiastic and shared his recommendations (which were fantastic). Only complaint was that it was incredibly loud. Nothing you can do as it was a small space, but we had to half-yell the entire time there.

Christopher M.

Yelp
Great courteous service in a cute setting. Delicious old school Italian. Classic but not pretentious.

Kate S.

Yelp
Consistently one of the best spots in HK - for date night, a night out with friends or just a solo dinner at the bar. Great food, great company, great service and great music always.

Nishtha C.

Yelp
Went out for a late dinner after our broadway show. They seated us quickly after checking vaccination card. The place has a very cute decor and the staff is very friendly. I had a glass of montepulciano wine. The wine was really good. I wanted to try another glass of a different wine but the staff was busy so I didn't get to it. We order the shrimp rigatoni, penne pesto and lamb chops. The shrimp rigatoni was very good but my favorite was penne pesto. The lamb chops were somewhat hard to eat and a little less flavorful than our preference. We ended the meal with some tiramisu and cheescake. Both were phenomenal!

Caroline S.

Yelp
Took 4 of my foodie friends out to an Italian place none of them had been before and Aria did not disappoint! We started off with the Bruschetta, Polpette Pomodoro & Black Truffle Mashed Potatoes appetizers to split and then all got our own pasta dishes as our mains. I ordered the seafood pasta special of the night and it was hands down the best seafood pasta dish I've had in my 8 years of living in NYC - a variety of fresh seafood, tasty white wine sauce, pasta made in house. And to top it all off, dessert delivered just as strongly. You can find tiramisu on many a menu throughout the city, but Aria's tiramisu is on a whole other level - it's almost worth the trip just for that item! Shout out to our server, Mark - promised him he'd see this review come through. He helped make the experience an overall 5 out of 5 stars.

Sydney G.

Yelp
Aria is a sister restaurant with 2 similar locations nearby. So if you see multiple places with the same menu, that's why! We ordered the tuna tartar. It was a large portion atop avocado. It was very creamy and the toasted bread they served it with was a necessary balance. They only give you two pieces so if you need more, I'm sure they will be happy to give you more. It was lemony, fresh, and well balanced. We also got the mussels appetizer. This was a good portion, but not large. There was no overwhelming flavors, everything blended well. It wasn't the most flavorful dish, but this didn't bother me as again, I thought it was well balanced. It also comes with a small side of bread, so again more may be needed. As an entree we ordered the gnocchi with tomato sauce. This was an incredibly satisfying dish. It was a good size that didn't leave me over full like some italian restaurants will with their hefty portions. I enjoyed the fresh mozzarella cubes served with it. Again, this was an incredibly well balanced dish and nothing stood out as overwhelming, it all blended together well. It felt very home made and fresh like it was a portion cooked for me. Finally for dessert we got the flourless chocolate lava cake. It was a rich dark chocolate filled cake accompanied by a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The cake itself has the taste of flourless cake which isn't my favorite but it has such a large amount of filling that I was able to distract with the rich, smooth, dark chocolate molten taste. If you aren't the biggest dark chocolate fan, this may be overwhelming. Finally we had a nice glass of italian Cabernet that was a delicious heavy pour. We went on a weeknight so we could sit right away and were served quickly and by multiple people. The modern pop music wasn't obnoxious or too loud but made the atmosphere fun and relaxed. The decor and interior is very pretty with a rustic italian wine bar vibe.

Jeannie M.

Yelp
I placed an order on ChowNow which turned out to be delivered by DoorDash. If I wanted to use DoorDash I would have used DoorDash but anyway... About two hours (the restaurant said ChowNow had a software issue or something) after placing our order we received the most amazing fresh pasta in my entire life and I'm almost as old as dirt! The shrimp scampi was a bit salty but that fresh pasta with the truffle was amazing! I'm probably going to mention it a time or two more. The tiramisu was pretty good. We didn't try the soup yet even though it's almost 24 hours later so I can't review that but get the pasta! I am not a pasta person but this sooooo hit the spot! I'll order again but it'll be takeout instead of delivery. I really never understood fresh pasta until last night. My God! Get. The. Pasta! It was the wild mushroom pasta just FYI. Get. The. Pasta!

Patrick D.

Yelp
Went back to this lovely Italian restaurant for the 4th time and was not disappointed. incredibly warm, friendly and efficient staff serving superb homemade pasta dishes. One of my friends ordered the tagliatelle bolognese, the other ordered a seafood plate with scallops and shrimp in a bechamel sauce and i ordered the risotto with lamb shank. My lamb shank was incredibly tender and just fell off the bone and the risotto was creamy and perfect in texture and flavor. The three of us shared a superb ricotta cheesecake. Good selection of wines. Great place for pre and post theater. Reasonable prices. Lots of choices on this block of 51st street, but this one gets my vote.

Marilyn Y.

Yelp
Aria Hell's Kitchen had quickly become the pre-theater go-to for my boyfriend and myself! We'll-priced, generously sized portions, and walking distance to all the major Broadway theaters, this place is worth a spot on your Rolodex! The restaurant itself is small and fills up quickly, so be sure to book a reservation! We've tried a number of the dishes over our visits, including the cheese and meat platter (which is HUGE!), crab and shrimp cakes (yum!), calamari (solid), and shrimp scampi (also yum!). You also probably can't go wrong with any of the pasta dishes. I tried a truffle gnocchi special on one visit which while very rich (and I could only eat about half), was well worth it for any truffle fan! The fettuccine ai Funghi is another (perhaps lighter) choice for any mushroom lover.

Daniyar T.

Yelp
We went to Aria for a friend's birthday and sat in the corner. Usually it's packed but we were there on a rainy Monday. The waitress was very enthusiastic. My friend is gluten free and she said anything can be ordered with gluten free pasta. I ordered clams fettuccine and it was very nice indeed. The portion was good too. The wine was fine. The staff brought a birthday cake on a fireworks looking candle which looked dramatic but kind of wonderful.

c k.

Yelp
Oh. What happened? This was a NYC destination restaurant for me. Sent so many people there in the last year and never received the enthusiasm back from them I thought the restaurant deserved. Now I know why. First time back in NYC since the pandemic and was so excited to eat here again. Maybe when you return to a restaurant years later, you shouldn't be happy to still see the same menu items being offered. So average. So uninspired. So bland. The introduction I'd really like to make is "Salt meet Aria. Aria meet salt."

Katelyn W.

Yelp
DELICIOUS! Staff are so nice and the ingredients are so fresh and the pasta is just hands down so yummy I want to try everything that this restaurant has to offer!

Ron B.

Yelp
Friendly service and great food. Reasonable portion sides. Convenient location near the theater district.

Eileen K.

Yelp
The ambiance was great.

Yelp
OMG! Best experience in a restaurant ever! It was unhurried, food was delicious, service was simply out of this world....even had special attention from the owner, although it looked as if he was circulating around and giving personal attention to all the diners. The night we were there it was sweltering, but after a lovely cocktail and good company, it could not have been a nicer experience. We were in town about 8 months ago and ate there and knew we wanted to return, but our visit this time was just fabulous. SHOUT OUT TO THE MANAGER/OWNER, MARK, WHO MADE US FEEL LIKE FAMILY! We plan to return to NYC at least once yearly, and Aria's will ALWAYS be on our list of places to eat every single time. Thanks for such a wonderful experience!!

Kristen G.

Yelp
Ordered the black truffle mashed potato side and the fettuccine with wild mushrooms and truffle oil. Delivery arrived early. Everything was packed neatly. No utensils. No napkins. The mashed potatoes were done well and smelled of truffle, however I saw no black truffles. Seemed to be made with truffle oil. Tasted good. $9 for the container. The fettuccine with wild mushrooms and truffle oil were subpar. I ordered it to be the gluten free penne and they sent fettuccine. Good thing I'm not gluten-sensitive or I'd have had to throw it out. Didn't follow special instructions/options. They weren't wild mushrooms either and I didn't taste truffle oil. At $17 it was disappointing. It was a decent portion and everything cooked perfect. But I won't be reordering. It's not for me.

Zoe R.

Yelp
Once again, Aria did not miss. This is becoming mine and my families favorite neighborhood spot. Every time my parents come to visit they ask me to make reservations here! We get basically every single app on the menu, the grilled octopus is our favorite along with the lamb chops! The seafood special, black truffle gnocchi, and lamb shank with risotto are unreal! Those three dishes are a must try when you go to Aria! And Mark is always a delight to see! Can't wait to come back! See you soon

Michelle C.

Yelp
I come to NYC at least a couple of times a year. I'm always on the lookout for places with great food and reasonable prices--especially places that welcome women who love to eat alone and read. With Aria I've hit the jackpot. The food is delicious with good prices. The pastas are house made. Sauces fresh and tasty. The bolognese is to die for. A large selection of fresh salads and appetizers. The minestrone soup, swear to god, is the best minestrone soup I've ever tasted--and I'm from San Francisco, no stranger to good Italian food. Tonight I had the branzino special--a filet, pan grilled, on mashed potatoes and spinach. Oh my. The staff is exceptionally attentive. There's a tiled bar where single diners can eat very comfortably. Cozy dining room for couples and groups as well. Thanks to Mark and Katarina for treating a single traveler with such kindness. The bus staff is also amiable and helpful. I visit NYC frequently for work and fun and I'm now a devoted Aria regular customer.

Nephthalie E.

Yelp
My friends and I were supposed to meet up at the sister restaurant across the street but they weren't able to accommodate our group; BUT, the host graciously directed us to speak to Maria at Aria. Thankfully they were able to accommodate, so the customer service was A1. (If you do have a bigger group though, I would suggest making a reservation just to be on the safe side). The restaurants ambiance was romantic and intimate with the low lights and rustic decor. LOVED that. As for the food, I was really looking forward to the oysters but unfortunately they are off the menu temporarily BUT our waiter had awesome suggestions. I ordered the rigatoni and it was chefs kiss. Wine options are plentiful and the best thing about my meal was that darn cheesecake! My goodness! Probably top 3 cheesecakes I've ever had and I've had a LOT of cheesecake. Hahaha! Overall it was a great night with even better food and friendly staff. Would definitely return.

Yelp
Aria Wine Bar Ratings: 4.4/5 Food: 4.5/5 - Decided to try out this restaurant, because I had an amazing time at their sister restaurant directly across the street called Briciola. I ordered the Tagliatelle Bolognese, and I enjoyed it every single bite, but just wished that the pasta was a little bit more firm and chewy. The meat sauce was on point, and I absolutely adored it; there were big chunks of meat, fresh pasta sauce and super tasty. My comfort food for sure. My friend got the Porcini Risotto, and we were both pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The sauce was quite creamy, risotto was cooked to perfection, and we were insanely shocked by how strong the mushroom flavors were in that dish. The cheese topped on the risotto was a game changer too, but it got a bit heavy towards the end of the meal. Great pasta. Ambiance: 4.75/5 - Lovely atmosphere for a date night if you are looking for some good Italian food in Hell's Kitchen area. It was super cute, intimate, and welcoming; dimly-lit with many candles lit up. I love the open cocktail bar, open windows, spacious interior, and all the wine bottles hanging on the walls, very aesthetically looking. Another wine cellar type of feel. I would recommend to sit inside for a full experience, but outdoor seating is available. Price: 4.5/5 - The porcini risotto and tagliatelle bolognese were both $16 each. The total came up to be around $40 after tax and tips. The portions are decent sized at a very reasonable price. I thought this place was definitely a steal and worth of a try for some decent pasta. Service: 3.75/5 - Had an average dining experience, and they probably need an upgrade here. I think there is a lack of people working and super busy, so I did not feel like we were well taken care of. We asked for the specials, and the server said there weren't any, but later came back and said there was. We had to ask for our complimentary bread and water as well. After the food came out, our server never checked-in on us anymore until we had to pay. Overall, service was a bit lacking here for sure compared to their sister restaurant. BLUF: Love the ambiance and pasta here, and would return for the food and wine. Despite the lack of good customer service, but its understandable. This is another hidden Italian gem in Hell's Kitchen that is worth trying out if you are a pasta fan. Please add it to your list, and order their Porcini Risotto and Tiramisu.

Yelp
I had my baby shower at Aria Wine Bar in Hell's Kitchen and I have nothing but WONDERFUL things to say. First- Mark, the manager was extremely accommodating and worked incredible well with me to host. The food was amazing (as always) and they have so many options for my event. Every single staff member was attentive and my guests loved it and said they would come back! I want to thank Aria Wine Bar again for everything!

Yelp
The food here is usually pretty good but last night we ordered the gnocchi sorrentino, which is basically marinara, and the pasta was unfortunately hard. Either it wasn't cooked long enough or just tough in general, I'm not sure but we have ordered it in the past and it's always been soft and pillowy. Still the staff is friendly, and the rest of the food and ambiance are rustic and really nice. I would suggest trying this neighborhood Italian restaurant but perhaps ask them to cook the gnocchi a little bit more.

Yelp
I go there coz I love their lamp chop and meatball. Their village one is better but I've been to their midtown one but vibe is not the same.

Yelp
We first ate at Aria last year when visiting NYC and returned this week when visiting again. Our second experience was even better than the first. The food is incredible and the service is wonderful. It's such a great ambiance and we'll definitely return the next time we visit.

Yelp
Have driven by Aria on 51st multiple times and it's always packed. Now I know why .. had the chance to sit in for dinner and Mark, the General Manager, was welcoming and dynamic! Food choices were excellent .. Mark recommended the grilled octopus and capers appetizer .. it was exceptionally seasoned and perfectly grilled. Followed up with a grilled lamb chop in a balsamic glaze .. just perfect .. and paired with a light Italian red. Well priced .. excellent service .. and a great vibe inside. We will return !

Yelp
Overpriced $20 pasta that is bland, coupled with the texture, I felt like I was eating frozen meal heated up in microwave. I don't understand how the fettuccine with mushrooms is their most popular dish...the other dishes must be really terrible then. Staff was rude and snappy. Severely disappointing business.

Yelp
I've lived in the area for quite some time, and I've never been to Aria Wine Bar. I went on a Sunday night, and now I'm sad this was the first time. This is a super friendly establishment. They were super accommodating as we went to a few other spots on the block that were not accepting any customers as it was after 10 pm. Aria accepted us with open arms. They make really tasty cocktails, and their meat and cheese board had a couple of gems, including the bresaola. The ambiance is fabulous as well, sort of modern rustic. Looking forward to going back again!
