"Situated in a quaint cottage on busy Galveston Avenue, Ariana has been the cornerstone of fine dining in Bend for 18-plus years. Husband-wife duo Andrès and Ariana Fernandez have continually created refined food with an understated complexity. Servers bring creative dishes with the utmost professionalism: For example, squab here arrives dramatically presented under a smokey glass dome, paired with a balanced, surprisingly delicate fois gras jus with chanterelles and butter potatoes. Reservations open at midnight 30 days out, or walk-in diners can eat at the bar." - Barb Gonzalez, Jeffrey Stull

After a long hiatus, I recently returned for dinner at Ariana and was pleased to find it was good as I remembered. Even for my seat at the bar I made a reservation 30 days in advance. You'd be advised to book early. After the amuse-bouche I started with the Dungeness crab and then the beet salad. Both excellent. Then on to the Halibut for the main. Also excellent. Loved the morels. Enjoyed a couple glasses of Walter Scott pinot noir during the course of the meal. Service and staff professional and friendly. I hope to be back!

Kara is da-bomb! I drove three hours from Happy Valley just to eat here—and let me tell you, it was worth every mile. I didn’t stop for fast food because I saw this spot had bone marrow and lamb on the menu. Yes, I planned my whole day around this meal. 😋 From the moment I walked in (in a sweatshirt, flip-flops, and ashy feet, okay?!), the host welcomed me like family—even though they were only taking reservations. That alone deserves a star. 🙌🏾 Now the food… MELTED in my mouth. The timing of each dish was perfection. You get to actually savor the flavors, take a breath, and then enjoy the next plate without being rushed. Everything was fresh, rich, and flavorful. Keto-friendly too! 💪🏾 Zero complaints. The service was kind, patient, and never once made me feel less than—even though I wasn’t dressed like the other patrons. That kind of hospitality matters, especially in areas that aren’t super diverse. If you’re looking for a date night spot or just want to treat yourself to something special, this is it. Add this to your must-try list. The food, the vibe, the people… all five stars from Glitter G!

Amazing experience. The food was outstanding. It was only matched by the fantastic host - Alyssa who was very classy and REALLY knew the menu well. Most definitely will return.

We visited Bend and are SO glad we got to dine at Ariana while on our trip. Top notch food, cocktails, wine, service, and vibes. We did the chef tasting menu, several life changing dishes! I highly recommend this place to anyone in Bend.

I was impressed by the meticulous flavor profiles and carefully curated drink pairings, which included n/a option drink pairings as well as an elevated reserve list too.. This culinary experience stood out as one of the best I've had in Bend, making it an absolute must-visit on a quarterly basis, at the very least. The service was impeccable, and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my visit. The setting was notably intimate and semi-secluded, yet adjacent diners were friendly, enabling brief, polite discussions. The restaurant, located in a residential house, was quiet, with muted comments of appreciation for the presented dishes. I merely wish we had an establishment in my current hometown such as this, although I do not believe it would be as highly valued by the type of clientele my town has to offer as patrons. So, for now, I'll be coming back and making it a part of my regular rotation on my quarterly visits.

I’ve been going here since they opened and I have NEVER been disappointed. It’s fine dining at its finest. I feel like people always think this place is really expensive but it’s truly no different than other high end restaurants in Bend. It’s my favorite little date night spot or sister/mom/aunt night hang! The scallops are basically always my go to. And the beef carpaccio along with the beet salad. The outdoor seating is delightful in the summer and it just makes me feel really fancy and happy haha. The staff here is excellent and many of them have been there for So many years, some even all of the years. To me that says a lot about the business. Oh and I can’t forget the hamachi crudo! Man now I’m hungry.

Amazing all around. Service was phenomenal and the food, we had the prix and wine pairing, was simple perfect. Atmosphere was energetic yet refined. Would highly recommend.

My husband and I sat at the bar to celebrate his birthday. We enjoyed the tasting menu immensely. Some fine dining restaurants try to do too much, yet leave the patrons wanting more of the best dishes and nixing the weaker ones. I appreciated that each of the 6 courses (not counting the amuse, and bread to start the meal) were all strong and more than just a bite of each one. The scallop and steak courses were my favorite. The birthday dessert was unexpectedly good as well. Drinks and service were solid. I look forward to visiting the next time we are in town.
