Aris Market Square

I’ve only been a resident for a little over 6 weeks but so far… I absolutely love it here. My move in was smooth. I had an issue with getting my living room sofa in my apartment and needed Aris maintenance to take the entire door off the hinges in order for it to fit. They did it with no question…and it was so fast. The customer service and management had been top tier. I have lived high rise for over 5 years now and this is definitely in my top. And the location is fantastic. We can simply walk to everything.

An excellent well managed property in a great location downtown with easy highway access and walkability to the tunnels, Buffalo Bayou Trails, and the metro. Aris is a clean, safe, and secure property with luxurious well maintained amenities and apartment units. The team at Aris really make this property what it is. The team and their dedication to residents make Aris stand out amongst the other properties downtown. From the helpful and dependable valet, the leasing staff (Mahi and Marlene are amazingly helpful and keep residents informed on property activities, events, and notices), maintenance crew (responsive and effective), and the excellent concierge staff, they all excel and make the apartment experience amazing and give me confidence in having made the correct choice for an apartment Richard alone adds a quality of service to the property that is unmatched. Richard's dedication, work ethic, and personal integrity all translate to an honest care and concern for all residents and which may be something intangible, but it is very much appreciated. Acts like running a scrutinois package delivery audit each night, checking in with residents that have time sensitive deliveries, ensuring that the property is secure and standards and accountability are maintained, all while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere at all hours shouldn't go unstated. Having a concierge on 24/7 that all make efforts like this to learn and know the residents is really something to appreciate. From Richard, Rotlhe, Messanger, Felix, and V, they make every concern a non-concern and are all so helpful and friendly at any hour.

Amazing place to live! The concierge staff are amazing. It’s very central to downtown and the underground with lots of things happening every day at the nearby parks and The Post. The facility is kept very tidy. Lots of pets in this building and I’ve never seen any pee or poop anywhere in the building. 10/10 would live here

I’ve been living at Aris for over three years, and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made. As someone who grew up in Houston, downtown living wasn’t something I ever pictured for myself—but now I can’t imagine being anywhere else. The building is beautiful, the location is unbeatable, and the convenience of being close to work, Houston’s nightlife, and Astros games makes everyday living easier and more fun. The entire staff is friendly and helpful, and they’ve really created a sense of community here. A big part of that experience has been Marlene & Richard, our concierge. They have been a constant presence throughout my time here, always welcoming and thoughtful. Richard also somehow knows all my guests by name, keeps me on track with package reminders, and greets me with a smile every single day. It’s the kind of care that makes a building feel like home. Grateful to have him and Marlene here.

The amenities are great; the pool is amazing, the gym has everything I need. The maintenance team is super responsive, and having valet service is extremely convenient. The staff are also great. I see Richard every morning at the front desk and he always greets me and my dog and he’s always super helpful anytime I need anything. Overall, I would recommend living at Aris.

As someone new to Houston, Aris Market Square has been the perfect place to transition. The building is well maintained with great amenities — the gym has the core necessities, the pool area is nice, and the shared spaces like the lounge are thoughtfully designed and great for both work and downtime. There are frequent resident events that make it easy to meet neighbors, which I’ve really appreciated. The valet service is super convenient, and the staff has been consistently attentive, warm, and helpful. The only downside is the noise from Main Street, particularly from the bar next door — it can be noticeable at night depending on where your unit is located. But overall, Aris has made settling into a new city much smoother and more enjoyable.

I've been a resident here for three months now, and I couldn't be happier with my decision to move into this building. From day one, the staff has made this feel like home. Imani and Mahi were absolutely fantastic during the move-in process – they went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. Whether I had questions about building amenities, needed local restaurant recommendations, or required assistance with anything else, they were always ready to help with patience. The maintenance team deserves special recognition for their incredibly quick response times. Any requests I've submitted have been addressed promptly and professionally, which really speaks to how well-managed this building is. The concierge staff consistently provides warm, helpful service that truly elevates the living experience here. Every interaction has been pleasant and they clearly take pride in taking care of residents. This is exactly what you'd expect from a luxury building – not just beautiful amenities, but a team that genuinely cares about making residents feel valued and comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone considering this building!

After living here a little over 2 years and now renewing for our third year, I wanted to give an updated review! Aris is a great building to live, it has always felt extremely safe. The concierge takes excellent care of the residents. I have to especially shout out Rolthe. Since day one he has treated us like family and knew our names and apartment number immediately and does whatever he can to make sure we are happy and comfortable. The maintenance team is also amazing and friendly, anytime we put in a work order it is completed immediately. I also have to give a shoutout to Mahi. She has been here since day one and is always happy to assist us in any way. As mentioned above, the building is secure and residents are only able to go on the floor they live on with the key fob so it is always quiet and secure. We love our apartment, and the bathroom, closet space, and square footage cannot be beat at any other high rise in Houston. It can be loud outside of the building because it is in the heart of downtown, but it’s great to be in walking distance to so many places. I would highly recommend this building to anyone I know and if you are into the hustle and bustle of the downtown life- this is the perfect place for you!

My daughter and granddaughter moved in this building. This place in beautiful. It has valet parking, concierge service, and more. It's surrounded by plenty of bars, grocery stores, convenient stores and more. Please check this place out. More pictures to come once I take the official tour.

I have been living at Aris just shy of a year, and I have no complaints. Im one of those people that moves every year because I hate noise, unprofessional staff, bad parking, broken elevators ect. I know all of those things are extremely common in apartments no matter the price point... I have none of these issues here. Maintenance has always come within 24hours (never had any serious issues) There is always resident events and it is very clear they have a nice budget for these. Drinks, food, ect.. The staff is SO NICE. This is has been the most pleasant apartment experience ive had in YEARS .

Trevon is amazing and soo patient! I'm now on my 3rd lease and he made the process of me moving to a different unit seamlessly. He always check in with me if I need anything. He definitely adds value to the professionalism of the agents and staff.

What's not to love about Aris Market Square?! Living here for the past year has been nothing short of amazing. Management takes the best care of their tenants, a big thank you to Marlene who has been there every step of the way! The staff has done an amazing job of keeping the property in pristine shape! If you're looking for luxury living with a awesome community this is your place!

I just popped in to look at the property since I was in the area, and I was blown away! There are many apartment choices in Houston, but this WILL be my next HOME! The welcoming staff brings Aris to the top of my list. Although I did not have time to take a tour Mahi was very welcoming, and pleasant, she did not disregard me even though I was not ready to look at the floor plan. The amenity spaces that I had time to look at reminds me of a Resort. Mahi, I will be back to tour.

I moved in 6 years ago. There have been quite a few new highrise residential buildings that have been constructed in that time here in downtown, but NONE of them compare to the quality of life, leasing team, service staff, and residents here at Aris Market Square!

Amazing location! I have lived in many apartment complexes and this is by far one of the nicest ones to live in. Close to all downtown locations, many social events on site, and excellent attention to the tenants. Front office, valets, and maintenance team made my time here enjoyable. Highly recommend property

I gave this place a three because I've literally toured this place two times within a six month time frame and both experience with one of the consultants were horrible. Even though I really liked the apartment and the view, it was important to me that the energy and vibe of the place I will be living and people whom I will be interacting with on a daily basis be of a positive welcoming and friendly nature. I'm not writing this review regarding all the leasing consultants at the Aris Market Square Apartments, however, this one woman in particular who I toured with an interacted with on both occasions is the absolute reason why I went with another high rise community as opposed to Aris Market Square Apartments. I was so turned off by the energy level on this tour, i didn't even want to see the remainder of the property. I thought to myself, is this what I'll have to be dealing with for a year. Now ask yourself this, if I've encountered this type of interaction twice within a six month time frame, I can only imagine how many others didn't rent at the market square for the same reason. Thanks to her poor people skills, I found myself at The Travis. Can't even compare the energy level, the friendliness of the leasing consultants and the concierge. I went on a tour at The Travis, fell in love with the hospitality before i even toured the apartment itself. That's how wonderful the staff was from the introduction. They had me at "HELLO" :)

I came into this property to inquire on a potential apartment. I was ignored by the leasing agents and was told by the concierge that they were busy. When I asked with what he said it was due to "a bunch of kids that were previously in the building and an inspection they had this morning". Both of the leasing agents were sitting at their desks while I was waiting and retreated to a back office after I had been sitting there for 5-10 minutes. I've been profiled before and I know exactly what that feels like. I contacted Greystar, the management company, to inform them of their leasing agent's rude behavior and I never received a response. This occurred a few weeks ago, but I was giving Greystar some time to respond. I don't normally leave reviews and typically let this type of stuff go, but the way I was treated was so egregious I felt the need to let others know.

When my wife and I visited Mahlet was well informed of the area and helpful. Mahlet showed us a one bedroom and it was very spacious. With a balcony that has spectacular views. The pizzeria downstairs is so convenient and delicious. I would recommend this place to friends and family.

Aris Market Square is simply put the best place we have ever lived! The views from our 2 bedroom overlooked Minute Maid Park and the Rice Lofts- can't be beat! Even better than the views are the AMAZING people who work there. Stephanie is easily the best manager I have met and the building would not be what it is without the incredible Constantine. Those two go above and beyond everyday, and truly create an experience that is bar none the best downtown.

Aris Market Square sits on top of a pizzeria. 5 stars right there. Need I say more? Oh wait, there's more. Should you happen to grab a slice and feel that you cannot finish it, feel free to store it in the package room refrigerators. Should you need to work off those calories, the gym has a two-dimensional smith machine to get in proper squats and a punching bag to practice defending yourself against people trying to steal your pizza. If you cannot punch because you're obviously holding a slice of pizza in each hand, you can ready your evasion skills by maintaining your bike in the bike repair room or have valet rush your car down with the touch of a button on your iPhone. Even without the pizza, Aris is easily one of the best places where I've lived (over 30 places in 11 different cities). The people that run Aris is what makes it so great. You may end up fat, but you will not be disappointed. Life is good here.

*** New Update after living at Aris for 3 years!!*** Updated 10/16/2020!! I moved out of my studio unit a year ago and moved into the spacious 1 bedroom A3 unit and love it!!! The balcony and views are unlike any other in the city! Nothing bad to report as if anything everything has remained great or even gotten better!! We recently had a turnover of the leasing staff and managers BUT I am pleasantly surprised at how amazing the new staff is.. ( As I was one of the first people to rent at Aris and having strong friendships with the old leasing staff and managers I was scared I would not see that same energy) BUT the new manager Necole is one of the best managers I have ever come across (and that is saying a lot as our previous manager was fantastic). Necole knows customer service like a true and tried professional! She is amazing and so gifted with customer service and has so many great attributes to managing her staff by leading as she does and also the way she puts the residents and potential residents needs first! What a bonus for us to have Necole on board at our Highrise as many highrises have bad management, Necole stands out and runs this building with success. Also, the new assistant manager Stephanie is fantastic and the leasing agents Mchelan and Siera are perfect leasing professionals that will truly make your stay incredible and give you an amazing tour of the building with some class and professionalism. I have been a resident at Aris for 3 years now since they opened the building and I am still so happy to be here and LOVING IT!!!*** This review is on 10/16/2020. I moved in around October 2017. This place was really nice. I had never heard of this place. It was extravagant and classy. I really enjoyed myself. It was a party that had everything that you can possibly want. It was actually a party. The food and drinks were on point. The atmosphere was a good vibe. Lots of very friendly people. I would visit this place again.

Terrible building and even worse management. Do not live here!!! The guy at the lobby is the worst. Not friendly and not helpful at all!!!

I don't think management can handle the building actually being occupied. They don't seem interested in enforcing basic community rules, so it's turned into exactly what many didn't like about Market Square Tower. For some, the idea of paying rent and being able to do whatever the hell you want is appealing. For everyone else, you have to deal with the inconvenience: blaring music, howling dogs, poop in the hallway, garbage pile-ups, cigarette butts and broken glass in the pool, smoking (tobacco and weed) in the halls/on balconies/in common areas. On top of all that, valet is a joke, and the ventilation system is flawed (to the max). Your vents actually funnel sound into your apartment from outside AND they connect you to your neighbors apartment. Have fun smelling everything that happens next door. If the choice is the Tower vs. Aris, go with Market Square Tower. They have A LOT more amenities. But better yet, spend thousands of dollars on rent somewhere else entirely.

The leasing office needs more help. Just two of them is not enough or they make it seem like it's not. I left a good review to soon. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a apartment complex. You can provide everything they ask for & they will make up anything to drag your application along. A lot of people been telling me about the Travis is really nice. So much for a greystar community

Aris Market Square is an exceptional upscale community that's located in a great spot in the downtown area. My lease ended at my previous place in June, and during my apartment search I visited over 10 apartments in various areas of Houston. Aris was actually the last place I visited and during my tour I was immediately impressed with the facility, the quality, the service and the residents. Aris feels like an intimate, right-knit community which I think is hard to create in a high rise. I have lived here for a month now and have had a fantastic time. The shared spaces are extremely well-kept and clean. The leasing agents are all outstanding and the concierge is top notch as well. I would absolutely recommend Aris to anyone that is looking to move to a luxury complex.

I very much enjoy living here and the staff is incredibly nice. Concierge and valet are truly the icing on the cake and hits expectation in high rise living and great customer service. If you're looking for great views, outstanding service, and access to all major road ways in just two lights puts you in the heart of the city. Thanks Aris market square team! - Happy resident!

This place is nothing short of amazing. Concierge services, valet and the leasing staff are very friendly and helpful. Building is nice and always clean. The views are beautiful and the perfect location for business and recreation. Definitely 5 stars.
