My experience at this store was very good. During the time I spent shopping, I discovered that this store offers a wide variety of styles that are not boring and that can be worn in different settings, from casual to formal. The formal dresses are very elegant. Some of the fabrics they use for their designs are very soft and of high quality. A small sale section is located on the second floor, and the pieces there are of high quality as well and beautiful. I read other reviews prior to going to shop at this store in which people mentioned that they received a keychain or a token for a pastry after their purchase. I didn't get a keychain or a token, but I still liked my experience shopping there. The customer service was excellent during my visit. I will definitely be back.

I have a complaint about an employee, and I'm trying on a coat, a long one and a short one, and I was struggling... That employee came over from time to time and whispering to once or twice at the same time, which made me feel uncomfortable when I was shopping inside. When I arrived at the reception desk, she whispered something to another colleague again, which was very poor in quality and politeness. I didn't like this situation, which made me feel very strongly that I was misunderstood and that I stole clothes type of feeling. Then I went to another cash register to change the clothes I want, and the employee who handed her insisted that I go to her side of the payment, she saw that I have a receipt for my order, she said, “oh she has receipt”, very lost and she walked away, seeing that she is very lost and walked away, I have confirmed my guess, at the beginning of what the woman was whispering about, Such a person with no quality can actually work in there. It's too bad since the service was horrible since due to how I was treated while shopping here. I feel like I was being discriminated while shopping since how she was acting with her whispering. It makes my shopping experience horrible.

A bit surprised by the negative reviews- Lenny and Lina at this location are soooo great!! Personable, friendly and so helpful. Doesn’t make you feel pressured to buy anything and really just genuinely helps you with what you need. I love Aritzia and usually just shop online but for the service I’ll def come back to this store! Also cafe downstairs- great coffee!! Such an added bonus and great touch.

The staff was very very helpful My tall 6’ daughter left with size tall dress pants and three different tops long enough but not too long. When you make a purchase they give you a token for coffee or pastry. Nice touch. Let’s just saw the get to know you compliments worked on us! The sales associates here are extremely pushy and pressure you to buy clothes, and they don’t even mention Aritzia’s return policy which only allows returns on full price merchandise. They should be telling you this at checkout. Merchandise less than 50% off is store credit only. Merchandise greater than 50% off is final sale. I might be getting that slightly off, but that’s the gist. Shady business practice, in my opinion, to encourage and pressure customers to purchase items by saying how “cute they look” on you only to find out later you can’t return them if you change your mind. Not sure if these employees work on commission, but that would make sense.

The customer service is disgusting in this location. The sales associates are truly mean. I was about to purchase a suit set and just because I asked her for larger size in trousers she looked me up and down stating “We don’t carry that size here” 🫥 I shop online all the time and they do have bigger sizes. I’m never coming back to that location !

Pretty impressive store with a great selection of clothes. They are pricey but the price seems validated when you see and feel the quality of the clothes. Staff is friendly and there’s a great sit down area upstairs near the dressing rooms to hang out while friends try stuff on. I believe there was also a coffee bar as well. Music was great, staff was friendly and helpful, and the store is pretty easy to get to right in the heart of Soho on Broadway.

Stopped in today with my daughter while visiting the city. I asked an associate for a smaller size which she said everything was out. As I was passing by Shannon she asked if she could help. I asked her for a size small in the hoodie I was looking for. She checked and found it. I appreciate her and how nice she was. I also purchased the matching wide leg sweats and a hoodie for my daughter. Employees throughout the store were friendly and helpful. The fitting room employees were very friendly as well.

We went to the new store (the old one was down the block). It is bigger and more grandiose, the cafe is now in the basement- so if you spend $100 or more you get a token to go get a specialty coffee or a pastry- we got a matcha and a chocolate croissant. My daughter got a puffer jacket- always wanted one so I gave in. The store was hopping. Lots of spaces to sit so you can chill .Definitely an upbeat vibe.

Really fantastic service and a great selection too! I bought two sets of comfy sweatpants and matching hoodies when I was freezing my butt off in NYC this past April and needed extra layers. I have washed and worn them many times since then and they've held up really well. Good quality for the price and the fit is true to size. I definitely recommend this particular location as the sales staff couldn't have been more helpful to me, and this in spite of the fact that I visited on a Sunday when it was absolutely packed with customers. Five stars!

I know people have mixed opinions about the staff at Aritzia, but I've personally never had a bad experience. everyone I've encountered has been friendly and helpful. While I do think some of the prices are a bit steep for the quality, certain pieces are definitely worth it. I especially love the Babaton line, the quality and fit are consistently great and they last. The Soho location gets pretty crowded on weekends, but after the recent renovation and expansion, the store looks absolutely beautiful. I also like how they have a lot of comfortable seating for bored boyfriends and dads

In store pick up are usually within 3-4 hours at most, if not all, Aritzia location - this one just doesn't even fulfill orders. Believe me I've tried to cancel the order but because half the items are non refundable, it almost feels like a scam. They also do not pick up phones. At all. Customer service also made attempts to speak to them and email them and message them - and their own company can't seem to reach them. I'm sure this is a nice place for in store shopping and I don't want to discredit their customer service on the phone because they tried just as hard as I did to reach out. Does anyone actually work here?

they moved down the block from the original location and the store is seemingly bigger with an upper floor as well. my friend told me service here is a hit or miss but today i honestly want to shout out Lena/Lina. i came in in the afternoon with my baby in a big stroller and since its around the holidays, its packed (even on a week day lol). She greeted me right when i went in, i guess we both understood we wanted me to be in and out especially with a stroller that takes up a good amount of space haha she got me what i needed and i was literally out of there within 8 minutes, i cant put into words how grateful i am because today is cold. cold outside, but the store is warm so it was only so many more minutes before my bundled up baby overheats. i digress but the girl at the cashier was also very speedy, someone else packed my order while i was paying. staff works so seamlessly and efficiently, thank you!!!

Came here with my girl and i noticed this place was clean, shiny, well decorated, and well presented. Everything was in order. I liked it. It also had free restroom and a station that offered free drinks: coffee, juices, water, etc. Pretty neat! I love it!!! All the times that i been coming in here was almost closing time so the drink station was closed. I will try to make it to test out their free drinks. Looking forward for this opportunity!!! : )

The staff here were super nice. They have a ton of staff so one of them kept checking up on me and bringing my clothes to the fitting room. She also picked out a couple of extra things for me to try based on the things I had already chosen. I also tried out the free cafe that I saw on TikTok. I got they Mango Sunrise which was fresh mango puree, oat milk and some sort of simple syrup. It was so good that I honestly wouldn't have minded paying for it.

Horrible Experience - COMPANY STEALS FROM CUSTOMERS! I am extremely disappointed with this company. They stole my money and have not given me the overdue refund. I returned an item almost two months ago, and after multiple promises that I would be refunded, I am still waiting. They gave me a Return Authorization number and even confirmed receipt of the item. I called their customer service twice, both times waiting on hold for almost an hour, and no one ever picked up. I've sent several emails, and they just keep saying they will review my case, but NOTHING has been done. It's frustrating and unprofessional. They've had my money long enough--this is a clear case of BAD BUSINESS practices. Do not trust them! STAY AWAY FROM ARITZIA!

This location has a coffee shop on the 2nd floor where customers who have made an in store purchase get a token that they can exchange for a drink. This policy is displayed on a fairly discreet sign so I (and someone else behind me) stood in line for like 10 min only to find out we couldn't get a drink because we didn't have a token. Also I had spent $500 on an online purchase and was in store to exchange sizes on something. I feel like that's enough patronage for me to deserve a token...????

This review is solely about the cafe! Saw a tiktok about the free cafe in the Aritzia SoHo location so I went to see if it was legit... and it definitely is! It's upstairs tucked away in the back near the fitting rooms. All the drinks are *FREE* which is unbeknown to me in NYC!! There's even a little seating area beside the cafe, but I think it's just the fitting room waiting area lol. Regardless, I'm still impressed!

It was superrrrr busy but all the people I spoke to were so kind and helpful, ESPECIALLY Ty who spotted me with my giant bag, pulled me aside and helped me find the size I wanted for one coat in store AND ordered the other coat I wanted to be delivered to me because it wasn't available in store.

I have been coming to this store for the four years I've lived downtown, and this visit in particular was the worst I've encountered. I felt so unwelcomed and disregarded as a human being by a few of the employees. Many of them almost ran into us several times. Not coming back.

The absolute best Aritzia location in NYC. Not only is the staff friendly, but they are also incredibly knowledgeable, cultured, and amazing at their jobs. The managers are very cool and often pop into the fitting rooms to offer styling advice. I shop strictly with Jay; he's the best style advisor at the SoHo location. Each style advisor is naturally talented, but Jay has that extra touch that makes him the best. He created the perfect capsule wardrobe for me, making my mornings easy, stylish, and effortless. Jay's attention and expertise are comparable to that of a luxury establishment. He's honest too--if something isn't right for you, he'll say, "Oh no baby, let's try this instead." I can't wait for the fall/winter drop and to continue shopping at this location with Jay, of course!

The free coffee is back! I didn't see any of the yummy treats this time so I'm not sure if those are out for good now or if they were just out when I went. But the coffee is back. They even have alternative milk options and speciality drinks that rotate daily. I got a cappuccino which was smooth and flavorful.

I love coming to Aritzia around the holidays because of all the deals you can find. I also love stopping by their cafe for a beverage. I was just browsing and not really looking for much in particular when I was approached by Ellis who helped me set up a fitting room. She also picked out some pieces for me try, some pieces were out of my comfort zone haha. Why did no one ever mention that it's a communal fitting room!? Imagine my anxiety when I had to step out and show the world what I was trying on! That's why I took off 1 star, I wish each room had a mirror. Ellis was very helpful getting me my sizes and constantly checking up on me, I never got this much attention in a clothing store before it felt great! I ended up spending $200 for 4 pairs of pants which I felt was a good deal because they're investment pieces. I would come back again.

Overpriced clothing for garments made by women in cramped spaces overseas somewhere. The ladies here pressure you to buy things as they make bonuses off every sale they make. Prices do not reflect quality, their jackets will start pilling and spilling feathers within a couple months. Do yourself a favor and purchase a used jacket off eBay from the brand or walk into Gap. You'll find something just as cute, and just as warm, for a quarter of the price.

Went in today and was approached by four different employees within 10 minutes. From the moment I was approached by the first employee, I felt like they labeled me as a thief. I was not able to walk around the store to shop without feeling the presence of an employee. I was not allowed to hold my own merchandise for more than a minute without an employee coming to take it from me and "hold on to it". I felt a horrible anxiety throughout the entire process, I did not feel welcomed at all. I've worked in retail to know that this is oftentimes how they handle theft (extra customer service), but this store went overboard. It felt racially motivated and overall so humiliating.

For the first time I felt discriminated by Aritzia. Her name is Julia, she refused to serve me coffee because I don't have a shopping receipt and I was the only customer at the cafe bar at that time. So I had to go back and shop first. I waited 20min in the line with my shopping receipt, and realized no one else was asked to show receipt or they don't even have an aritzia shopping bag with them. Immediately I think I was treated differently because she is white and I am Asian.

I love Aritzia and this location is definitely the best in the city! It's very big and has a great selection. The dressing rooms on the first floor can get a bit cramped but the ones on the second floor are much more spacious and relaxed. They're also near the barista where you can get free coffee or specialty drinks, and even little treats sometimes! Everyone at this location is so lovely and helpful as well.

The staff I interacted with were unkind. I love my clothes from Aritzia but I will only be shopping online there due to the staff. I knew it might be bad because of the videos I've seen on TikTok, and unfortunately they were proven true. The staff at this store acted snobby, cold, and passive aggressive for no reason. I had just purchased it online 7 days earlier and I never even tried it on, I just didn't like the color in person. If someone returned well within the window, with the receipt, tags and perfect unworn condition, don't ask questions and don't be rude when you ask for a receipt and the customer just gives you what came in the package. How are we supposed to know we should have the receipt pulled up in our email? You don't have to be sweet or warm, just be respectful and treat customers with basic minimal kindness.

Recently came in here for the first time and felt very out of place bc I was still in my PJs but appreciated how all the employees made me feel welcome and said hello / asked how I was doing. Lilia assisted me, she was very professional, sweet and stunning! I was unfamiliar with the process + it did feel a bit invasive (coming from someone who has worked in retail for years) however, I understand that shoplifting is a huge concern in this area and the brand wants to give you the feeling of a "personal shopper" or "stylist" by your side. The clothes were high quality, there was a GIANT selection, and I didn't experience my typical post-shopping regret the next day

Idk what happened during COVID because I used to love shopping here, but I came recently and the employees were so rude. They hover over you and pressure you to buy things. I tried on a couple of things, and an employee (I think her name was Ellis), kept pressuring me to buy even though I hated them, and was being very passive aggressive when I decided I didn't want anything. Her manner was very unprofessional. After I was essentially forced to purchase an item, another employee made a mistake with my shipping address and continued to make me make up for it. TL;DR, Very annoying, rude, unprofessional staff. If you want to browse and not necessarily purchase on the spot, I recommend going to another location.

The floor leader / manager there with the short dark hair is so rude. She's so rude to customers, cuts you off mid sentence, and then does the same with her staff. They should stop scheduling her on busy shifts (but that location is always busy) because she clearly doesn't like it be parts of her job that require speaking to people. The last time I was in the store she was rude to me too so I'll just stop by their other locations from now on.

This is Zara if you had no changing mirrors in your fitting room and the prices were slightly higher. You have sales girls who told you everything looked good, even that hideous metallic bright green Super Puff. The Super Puff is a Uniqlo puffer with Kendall Jenner in it. It's not warm for NYC winters at all come December. Very thin. It's a transition early fall piece. It is a good place for coffee as they have a cafe upstairs, hence the extra star. I don't think the prices are worth it for the lackluster quality of their clothes. They are priced at Eileen Fisher but not at their quality. The sales ladies want to sell you stuff that may not suit you later. Why did I buy and then return that metallic green puffer? Not worth it.

I've always had mixed feelings about Aritzia. I've always wanted to like it the way some people love it. It feels like I am paying extra for basics. I totally get it, it is nicer quality and I guess it's not considered fast fashion? It reminds me of American Apparel when it comes to the basics. This was a cool two story store with a cafe. Despite being BUSY the check out lines weren't bad at all. Cool that there's a cafe inside but adds to how busy it is. Eh, will come back for their work out clothes that's nicely displayed.

I have mixed feelings about Aritzia. The employees annoyingly hover over you - there is no such thing as moderation when it comes to service here. As soon as I rid of one store associate, the following associate comes following with questions of the same. Their store returns policy is abysmal as well. Nice stuff, but the customer service experience is something unheard of for the retail landscape that we live in.

I went to this store yesterday to put items on hold because I didn't have my receipt on me to exchange items. I told the male clerk to hold the items till the next day END OF DAY. I come back the next day not even 12 hours later and my items are GONE, MISSING, and cannot be found. Never come to this store if you're expecting to purchase items you have on hold. For a store like Aritzia to have workers like this is laughable. Will not be shopping at this location AT ALL anymore.

Aritzia is upbeat women's brand but surely no Forever 21 in the cuteness style especially competitive price for affordability. Sophisticated yes, but very trendy not classic. Background music resonate a loud deafening pounding headache as I could not wait to exit for my health required peace of mind. Merchandise sits on two levels and are well stocked but is not cohesive for coordination of a top with a matching bottom. The Aritzia brand fits with the Soho scene as it's a hip, and upcoming to the fashion world, albeit, not my style. Staff are cordial but not entirely sincerely friendly.

The customer service at this place is atrocious. They were extremely disappointing. I had bought a dress and then threw out the receipt because EVERYTHING IS FINAL SALE. When I was about to wear the dress, I realized that the security tag was still on - it was hidden in the dress so I hadn't realized earlier. I had offered evidence (my credit card charge) and they refused to remove the tag. They effectively implied that I was a thief when it was literally their fault in the first place for not removing the security tag when I bought it. They insisted on a receipt, when literally the moment I left another person refused a receipt BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS FINAL SALE.

Unreal experience moments ago. As a preface I have been a loyal Aritzia customer for upwards of ten years, dating back to living in Canada where the brand first emerged. 90% of the clothing I own is from Aritzia. I came in, in head to toe Aritzia. I purchased a sweater a month prior that said hand wash only. It became extremely deformed and I could not get it back to the original shape which was disappointing- it was a great sweater. I expected to come in, hear an apology for the inconvenience and obtain a store credit if not a refund. I have never experienced such poor customer service. I was told a store credit was out of question and I could only purchase something of equal or higher value in the store at this exact moment. How is this different than a store credit other than just being significantly more inconvenient? I explained I had actually just put in a big order the day prior, online, and did not want to spend more in this moment. A girl at the front desk, Angel, went out of her way to make things more difficult and be more unhelpful. I asked to speak to the manager, the group chatted about what was going on 20 feet away from me- is it really that difficult to chat with a customer directly who's upset about a product? I was told again a store credit was not an option. I asked to speak with the manager again, she came in, saw the sweater, and said she would make a one time exception- as if I was at fault and requesting a huge favor. Better yet I was told it should really be an exchange. WHY WOULD I WANT THE SAME DEFECTIVE SWEATER? The whole experience culminated with the employee on cash (Angel) telling me once again this was a one time exception and that my file would be marked with this incident for the future. It's so great to feel like someone who has just had something awful added to their criminal record, walking out of a clothing boutique. Disgusting.

My strategy: eyes focused on the item and be prepared to repeat "just looking" or you will be bombarded with requests to start a fitting room by every single associate who passes by. This is not a location to just "browse." The clothing selection is just okay - not as great as the locations in Toronto or Vancouver but not bad.

Cannt believe I m writing this 1 star review for Aritzia. Over years, I have been a loyal and huge fan of it since the soho flagship shop opened. Never encounter any issues with their customer service when I made purchases, always friendly and warm smiles. However, the employee/ manager there just completely disappointed me today, incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable. I purchased a Parker from Aritzia.com since I wasn't able to make it to store. Received a worn and used Parker when unbox the shipment. Cannt express how disappointed I was. Called customer service and no one get back to me as promised. Decided to stop by to a store and see what I can do next. since I always accommodated with such great services from in store employee, expected to have a pleasant experience. 1. Went in to store explained the situation, the manager on duty heard I ordered from online, she immediate reaction to it was: "since u ordered online, nothing we can help, you have to contact them. We are different entities. U have to go through them." And repeated the same thing over and over throughout our conversation. She did not even willing to look into the Parker, didn't offer to solve the issue until I kept repeat my frustrations, and eventually get pissed. (look, my question here is retail store and online store, aren't they both belong to Aritzia? And when u Cannt offer help at the first place, why have to wait until the point your cus is upset?) 2. She asked me to bring the Parker back the next day and talk to the manager on duty that time, & go from there. yet, when I ask for the name of the person I need to speak to tomorrow, she said she doesn't know who gonna be the manager for tomorrow . Are u serious now? How big is your store? Do u have over 50 employees in the location to manage? And how many manage you have? Ok fine u have million reasons to not know. But can't u take a step forwards to reach out? I works for customer services industry myself, I believe what makes difference is the services that we provided to clients. What I experienced in store, Aritzia needs to be mindful of who to hire and train your employee/ manager properly!
