This is a fun place to be at. It's a great locals hangout too. Has your choices of casino games and the food has a great, inexpensive list of good stuff. They have coffee all day available, in nice pouring containers. Enjoy the place, all around.

I stayed here for two nights. Very bare bones room and was not that clean. It was quiet with a comfortable king mattress. The food was great and great value. Pizza and pasta place had great service and was a standout. I didn't gamble, so I can't offer input on that. A few troublemakers were there, but security addressed them promptly, and they were removed. Important tip: bring your own toiletries as only 2 small cheap soaps, and small tubes of shampoo and conditioner are in the room. There is a Walgreens close by quick shop run if it's needed. Area is run down, and you need to be alert if you go walking around, especially at night.

My favorite Hotel/Casino!! The Littlest Big Casino atmosphere is perfect for making u feel at home. Service is great, restaurants are great, even great parking. Strip mall nearby, and dept store on the other side of the parking lot. On point security keeping things safe. Hands down, favorite!! ♥️

Google
First impressions of this place wasn’t good. Pulled in and saw blinds looked like they caught fire in a storage room or resort room. Walked into the room on 3rd floor fairly clean and smelled of smoke for a non smoking room🤮 beds had no comforter had a sheet replacing a fitted sheet and just a sheet on the bed. Very lumpy pillows. Only had 2 of each towel even though was specified we had 4 guests. We stayed for 4 days and had to call and complain about something each day. Each day called cause our cards wouldn’t open the door. Waited hours for us to get extra towels and guy banged on the door around 10-10:30pm. Mini fridge was nice. Heat outdated. Bathroom door handle about to fall off the door. Poor water pressure. 1 trash can in the whole room by the mini fridge. Told 3rd floor was getting tap cards and came home after 9pm to find wood chips all over the floor by the door. Guys said they did their job and it wasn’t their mess to clean up. Very dangerous my child almost slipped on it cause we didn’t see the mess at first. Definitely would not recommend this hotel.

Google
We had our wedding there 2 wks ago today & we had an amazing experience. We did have issues with our room but Tomasa the front desk manager took care of us. Thomas the food/beverage manager really went above & beyond for us to have our wedding there.

Google
Positive: Price was reasonable for the accommodations. Negative: I sought some extra towels from the front desk in person, and they were unable to respond at all....did not know where they were and could not even send any to follow up. Wierd.

Google
I stayed there with my family during New Year in a room with two queen beds. We were on a budget, and overall, the experience was good, including the room and casino area. However, the room had a slight odor despite being a non-smoking room.

Google
Our last couple of stays. Have not been great. Loud....very loud. Bright lights shining in the window. Repairs on doors after 9pm. If you are an early to bed person, forget this hotel.

Yelp
AFFORDABLE, SMOKEY HOTEL! I love Arizona Charlie's even though it's unpredictable at this location. Sometimes I get a strong cigar odor and sometimes I don't. Today, it smelled and I didn't care for that. I was even eating at the Sourdough Cafe and I could still smell residual smoke from the casino floor. Other than that, I still continue to visit this casino because it has great food and prices for families/seniors. It's also very accessible and easy to find. Need a hotel away from the strip? This is a solid option. I was a little disappointed that the gift shop was closed all morning, it's a bit of an inconvenience to guests and visitors. I wanted to buy some merch and it was totally pitch black in the store. Hoping we get extended gift shop hours?

Yelp
I called to make a reservation at Arizona Charlie's Decatur and was connected with Eli. He was very helpful making the reservation, and upgraded my room for me for practically nothing. He also let me know that I had free night stay there every month that I have not been using. So I've been losing out on a free night stay, but not anymore! He also let me know about another property, The Strat, that has two nights free for me every month that I have not been using. He was very accommodating and he made this experience very pleasant and easy. I never stayed at the Arizona Charlie's and I'm excited to stay there this weekend. A free staycation? That works for me. Thank you Eli, for taking the time to really look at my account and let me know what I've been missing out on.

Yelp
This place is so rundown. Rooms are dark and smell moldy. Front desk people are very unhelpful. Phone customer service is very helpful .

Maui_Girl C.

Yelp
Room was not quite my expectations. I never let them clean my room because when I wanted the housekeeping to come and my room, I have to make an appointment. So I decided to put do not disturb. Place smells smoky everywhere. I have to have my mask on all the time. Their pizza restaurant, they need to hire a chef who is not salty person. The chef that you have is not good. I couldn't even eat one bite of my food because it was so salty. I ended tipping the 2 waitresses $100 and $40 at the front. The manager comped the check because I didn't eat them. Please hire a Chef who doesn't use too much salt. I'm so sorry for my review but at least you have a chance to make corrections or do something. It was so slow. You had only 2 tables occupied that night. Good luck . Service was excellent and amazing. The manager was kind and friendly. Thank you so much.

Wayne B.

Yelp
The marketing director won't return my phone calls. I'm trying to book entertainment. I hope she calls back or e-mails me because I like Arizona Charlies.

Sherry G.

Yelp
Had a blast at the Saturday night tribute show. The cocktail server was also amazing. Haven't had that much fun in a long time. Looking forward to more tribute bands!

Angel C.

Yelp
Front desk attendants were not accommodating. Had to ask to speak with a manager. They complained I had to extend my stay. When your job changes or your need changes, they should accommodate without causing stress to the guests taking into consideration guests are paying and not staying there for free. Food options were horrible, except the donut store. Ambience, what ambience? Did enjoy it at all. Just really needed a room and shower.

Travelingman777 P.

Yelp
We went to the Sourdough Cafe after playing some Pia Gow. We both had the Charley Burger with bacon and mushrooms. Medium rare. I had potato salad that was very good and the French fries also tasted nice and crisp with just the right amount of salt. The burgers came out a perfect medium rare and they were nice and juicy with great taste. We will be back!!

Curtis C.

Yelp
It was dirty and outdated. The staff were friendly. The smell of smoke was very heavy and felt like it would stick to you. The television channels were grainy at best. Off they would put a little money into the place it would be a nice place to stay.

Yelp
i love the bngo here (very laid back) shoutout ari (serving drinks in bingo) now we have that established let me say this to the fat black lady at registration.. at no time did anyone ask for you to get in trouble for a early check-in and for you to say that to your co worker as 5 people got put of line.well if the people answering the phone saying that i could check in at 1 . i wouldn't have been trying to check in at 2. talk yo ish to the folks answering the phone.. now i watched the older woman flipping room. so i knew that the bed linens weren't changed. they asked for her to do two more rooms and she declined..iknew when iasked for tissue because there was none my room hadn't been cleaned. the person came in put the tissue on the bathroom counter and then placed paper where this food is and my bags were gone through #dontleavenovaluables.. salsa don't do damage... complaining about it they complain.... refund my deposit and stop the freaking madness.. i changed my own linen and it was on the floor. very disappointed and boyd gaming if this is what i can look forward to then i decline.. now i understand why every one was so frustrated and giving yall the business about deposits.. y'all ghetto af i should have stayed at the palms cus i know it's quality. this is some ghetto establishment while i was on a machine someone asked me did i want drugs pulled them out and everything run the camera.. folks just sitting around on machines no money no room keys no card.. nah security do your job folks waiting for others to hit on the machines.. asking for money run the camera.. never ever had a new year start with the bs

Rod B.

Yelp
The front desk didn't seam to even want us to check in no bell help the sour dough cafe had good food and we had a great waitress a true Jen Not in the nicer neighbourhood more local hang out Have to wonder when the guy comes to help with internet with a gaurd

Andrea W.

Yelp
The service was great but why do hotels always floor children with animals? It's degrading and disgusting on top of the fact that the air conditioning had mold spores and we all got sick afk! It's 105 and we either sweat and smell dogs and cats or turn on the air and get sick!! The smell and the conditions even for the price which was $75 night was just not okay Rooms were nice

Franklin M.

Yelp
Are you planning a trip to Las Vegas. If so, please stay away from Arizona Charlie's on Decatur. They are known to charge $150 deposit and routinely keeps $100 of your that deposit stating that there was linen damage! This is the practice that they've done for years. Unless you wanna leave the hotel $100 of your room deposit money. Do not stay at this hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Darren E.

Yelp
This place is more acceptable if you're a smoker, otherwise, they haven't taken steps to ever clean the remnants of decades of past smoking when permitted. As a result, the entire property and rooms smell, even if designated as non smoking. They have the same problem with the casino floor, which seems less smoky in the early morning. The rooms have unpleasant scars from the past, in my case there was a dark red substance on the carpet and sink vanity. It could've been blood or raspberry but highlights that they need to replace the carpet and repaint both the rooms and the casino floor. The pillows are too thin and the mattresses are decidedly pisspoor as one of my late grad advisors might say. If your back or neck is sensitive, except to be uncomfortable. I'd take a second floor and make it more table gaming and actually have smoke free and high limit areas. The table gaming isn't bad, but there's too little of it and it often feels like you need an oxygen tank. This casino caters to local smokers and sadly that's a sad demographic. They could do much better with a simple makeover of new paint and carpet, expand the second floor into oxygen tank free gaming and bring in some real restaurants and it'd be a fun property. They do have a pool and jacuzzi, but it's in full sun until about 6:30 pm. It'd be nice if it was covered. The parking situation isn't bad, but they have too many spots reserved for their loyalty program members which are never used. Remnants of a valet operation remain... its clear this property reached it's heyday in 1981 and has been in steady decline ever since. This suggests the cheap, lazy owner syndrome. The employees here are friendly and deserve a makeover as much as the customers. The cheesesteak place across the street is a safe haven from the smoky storms of this casino and hotel. The wifi is free and included in the quixotic resort fee, although it doesn't say this on the wifi captive page. It's hard to believe tiny little bottles of water constitute a resort. There's nothing "resort like" in the very least here, in fact this is the last place you'd expect to find advertising itself as a resort amongst local places. 1981 called...they want their run-down motor lodge back.

Joe P.

Yelp
It's an old casino so the smell is old. The floors are clean, the atmosphere is old but in a good way. The slot machines are all right. Table games are not full. Not much eating places.

Sneaky P.

Yelp
Usually great service at front desk , but this time not so good . We have upgraded to Legit card so it says early check in and late check out when available the gentleman at front desk said maybe 15 -20 min early at most so we came back right at time to check in did not want are 2 year old to get restless then came back asked for renovated room was available we were told yes but for extra 20$ hmmmm the email we got telling us we were upgraded to Legit status and that included upgrade in room when available ! Seems ur better off not gambling so much to upgrade we were treated better before back to Stations and Coast we will miss some of the great people at Charlies who giv great service

Kristen C.

Yelp
This place is horrible. Lots of methy people walking around. Asking you for cigarettes and money. But the worst are the cocktail waitresses! Not friendly, not cute. I'm done coming here.

Angelo K.

Yelp
Room was dirty, carpet was sticky (your shoes stuck to it as you walked over). Service was terrible. Housekeeping never came to our room even after asking them and the front desk countless times. We went a whole week with the same sheets. Had to call the front desk every time we needed towels or even toilet paper. I read the reviews before I came here and I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but I'm sorely disappointed. Myself or my friends won't ever be coming back here. It's worth the few extra bucks to stay somewhere else. I stay at a lot of hotels but this was by far the worst. Even worse than your $50 motel.

Sid T.

Yelp
AZ Charlies is a gamble. Bet on a losing, and you won't be disappointed. Where shall I start? -They will screw you over on your comps. -Management does not give a rats rear-end. -DIRTY GAMBLING: First and foremost if you are a gambler here, I feel so sorry for you! The place is so tight, and if you do the math and count your payouts on slot play, you'd be lucky to get a dollar back from $10 play. It's hard to land anything that pays, yet alone any bonus. When you do hit the bonus (rarely), you will win maybe $2 if anything at all... no matter the denomination you play. It's criminal. Even the bartender says they changed, and it's "quite criminal". BAR: The bartender is the obnoxious one who likes to yap his mouth. Not naming names. I burned $350 one night losing my ass off (not surprised), and this guy wants me to up my bet before getting another comp drink? I stopped going to the bar with that bar tender. COMPS: Earlier this year the play was decent enough to play enough to earn comps. It was fair... at one point. But that is where they lure you in. I'd say I've lost a good $10K or more before seeing any $10 comp free play. Since I redeemed my hotel comps (another gripe), the play has been literally take take take take take. This is ridiculous. Makes you wonder. They need an AUDIT. A LEGIT AUDIT from the gaming board, and not some underhanded paid-off audit. Upon entering the facility, you will usually see a good amount of trash on the ground. This is normal. It's a junk yard out there. Once you get in, the place is full of poor suckers who are probably too high to realize where they are. What really catalyzed my distaste for this place is the fact that I would be comped room stays, and I would book on the App. One night per week. So I would book a night one week Sunday night, and start the next week on Monday night so I would get 2 nights in a row... Who wants to check out and come back a day or two later? So I made this my thing, I would book the nights... I did this 2 times before. Then the last time I tried to check-in, some VIP lady told me I'm not allowed to do that. The original hotel registration clerk was the one that checked me in the past few times I had no problems, but I think the supervisor lady working that day triggered her to not allow my comps?? They let me do it before, multiple times, it allows me to do it on the app, end of story. But NO... They quickly changed that up. Before leaving frustrated I requested to talk to the manager, who doesn't work on weekends of all days. Weekends should be this guys MAIN days, as they are busiest on weekends. Regardless, I complained... and wanted to speak to the manager. The hotel registration clerk slipped me a useless $5 comp coupon for the new River Rock Pizza place, which isn't worth the pricetag... Just.... no. The clerk told me she would put a note for the manager to contact me back in regards to my complaints and request to speak with him... It's been over a week and I have not had any calls from them since. The COMP Tickets they give you cannot be doubled, unless you're not me. My brother and his wife go to this place, and they never have an issue redeeming their comps together, or doubling up their food comp tickets. WHY AM I NOT ABLE TO DO THIS? ROOMS: The rooms were.... meh.. Probably on par with your local motel. One night I had to request fresh towels because they failed to cycle out the used towels, as one had someones mascara wiped off on it, but was still hanging as if it were a fresh towel. Luckily the AC units blew cold air... Noisy, but cold... I think they keep them cold so you don't notice the smell as much... Each time I need to warm it up because it was so cold, it would turn somewhat musty smelling. This wasn't as bad as it sounds... The room was OK to say the least. I couldn't express checkout over the TV the last time I stayed. WIFI: WIFI is completely USELESS. They want you to buy it I'm sure. When I tried the second time, it wouldn't even connect. You will literally get less than ~0.018 Mbps download. FOOD: I want to give credit to Sourdough cafe for changing up their game... slightly. Before I would earn comps here, this place stooped so low in quality of food it was a complete disaster. I don't know if this was before they got bought out by PT's Golden Entertainment? They have improved, BUT some of the items were obviously microwaved. I'd get the Farmhouse breakfast and it's always a gamble. The HASHBROWNS are my favorite, but each time they would come out in a brick shape, and taste STALE. Absolutely horrible. Eggs are real cracked eggs, bacon not crispy as requested, but almost as if they drench the grease on the strips. PRICES have definitely gone way up in comparison to what they use to be. Not worth the visit for the quality you get. I spend my food comps here, and leave a cash tip for the waitress. I hope to have a video review made sometime soon of this place.

Mike M.

Yelp
Decent breakfast and usually for low prices the casino itself is a little smoky, but not too bad and lots of locals

Wndrpgn W.

Yelp
I have to leave a star in order to leave a review.. the room was filthy. The floors were gross. There was semen on my bed covers. I went and bought blankets so me, and my children did not end up with a disease of some sort. The air conditioner barely worked, and it made a racket that you couldn't even sleep. It was so noisy. I had stayed there in the beginning of July, and had the time of my life. My room was clean. The place was nice. I enjoyed myself I decided to go back with the children to go to the Adventuredome a Circus Circus and boy was that mistake. I will never go to this hotel again, and I suggest you find someplace else

Yelp
This place is going down hill! FYI ... For those of you who get the $5 food voucher weekly, don't get tricked into thinking that you will still get food those specials! They used to offer 3 street tacos, or a hamburger /fries, farmhouse breakfast & 2 other specials for that $5 & we didn't have to pay anything ! Last week I was in there & ordered a burger w cheese & was expecting to pay the $1.09 for the piece of cheese which is high anyway , but the cashier rings me up & says your total is $5 & change & I said I just gave you my $5 voucher, & she said yes, but prices went up $1 on all the specials, & I was still smh thinking well it should be $2 something then if prices only went up a $1?? I paid the $5 & thought I'll just go back to eating the farmhouse breakfast where that's free! Wrong, I paid $3 something for that breakfast, so dont let those vouchers make you believe your still going to get a free meal, bc those vouchers , now your paying them, the restaurant to use them!!! What a scam .... We can lose all that money in their casino, the least they could do would be to give every customer that has at least lost $20 in the machines , give them one of those specials you used to offer us when they were FREE, but now have to pay !!!! That was the beauty of coming here bc I have to drive across town to come here bc I moved to Summerlin , but it's not worth it now to drive all the way over to you for the $5 freeplay that you offer bc that's chump change & you take it back anyway, so it will no longer be worth the drive anymore, so I'll just stay in my area & spend my money at suncoast /rampart where I can get good food comps at their steakhouses & not their coffee shop that I have to pay for now !! Too bad you have become cheap just like the other casinos...just take take take , & no giving back to your loyal locals!! Thanks for all the years!

Rene' D.

Yelp
I love that the hotel/casino is "off-strip" and recognizes that it's a Vegas local hang. The front desk staff is always efficient and friendly, the coffee shop serves great food - you can't partake of all the fun if you're not properly hydrated or fed! My out-of-town friends love staying in the hotel - it's clean, quiet, comfortable and the rooms are roomy! Me? I love the gift shop. My best Vegas-themed birthday and Christmas prezzies are there!

MarkPooh H.

Yelp
I've seen the commercials, they helped me choose to try this place out. But the moment I walked in I was hit with the strongest stale smoke smell of anywhere I've visited. Smoking is a big turn off but usually avoidable. This place makes it hard to avoid. I would guess the majority of machines here are old. That's not necessarily a bad thing, sometimes nostalgia is a great concept. Overall my experience here was not impressive enough for me to consider returning anytime soon.

Heide B.

Yelp
Still smells like an old ashtray in here. After years of being a local favorite, it really has not paid attention to what the locals really want. The new restaurant they opened has NO business at all. Bingo is the same. Update January 15, 2024. I wish I could add a positive note. I only come to Charlie's because my mom likes playing bingo and it's cheap. The escalator up finally works again.

Julia Q.

Yelp
Hotel hosted put me in the worst room because it was a compliment , I play all night , gambling ,I spent my money, Horrible ,dirty, mirrors are not clean carpet not clean ,found a roach eating my potato chips On the bathroom counter, so I don't think nothing clean

Aliana L.

Yelp
Worst hotel ever, very unsanitary!! I asked if they have any cleaning supplies for the bathroom and I'll clean it myself. The lady said "sorry we don't". If u hv children do not bring them here. Motel 6 would be a better option than here. I feel like someone can contract an STD or sum type of disease here!!

Jonathan P.

Yelp
There's a lot to unpack here...just know that it's a real dump. Checked in and was supposed to have a King Deluxe room, (that's what I paid for), was told they only have double queen that was actually $7 a night less but was not given a reimbursement. Mold in the shower, shower curtain would not stay up so the curtain would fall to the center, the television was snowy on all channels, smells smoky and moldy throughout the entire place...but hey it was a cheap hotel so all is good as long as the bed was clean and it was. House cleaning is on request, I called as instructed and requested full service while I was out. Came back, less towels than what I started with, same bedding and pillow cases just made up, and they turned my A/C up to 74, it barely worked so that was not comfortable. Final night was bitten by some kind of insect/spider about 8 times in various places, I check every room I stay in for bedbugs for sure and there were no signs of them and the bites don't resemble that either. Spoke to front desk about it and they were no help, had to file an incident report with security with photos. I wouldn't recommend this place for even a few hours of rest. And if your hungry give yourself about an hour head start because that is about how long the wait is to get your food after the initial 15-20 min it takes to have your order placed in person. Food is not that great either, get a salad, it's pretty tough to mess that up.

Nikki H.

Yelp
Arizona Charlie's is a cool local spot to gamble and grab a couple of drinks at. It is a convenient central location that makes a great meet up spot. I enjoy playing Keno at this casino, they have some good machines and just added several new games. They do not have a high limit section though, I looked the last time I was there. It is a smaller casino but that is okay with me to get in and get out with plenty of parking with easy access. I also enjoy dining here ate the Sourdough Cafe but that will be a separate review. Cool spot, cool vibes, close, convenient and a great meet up location.

Anthony L.

Yelp
This place is a toilet. It stinks. I met a super famous AM radio host here. That was cool. Too bad the hotel wasn't

Apple S.

Yelp
It was my first time in this place and it will likely be the last. The smell here is unbearable. How people manage to sit inside there and gamble is a question I don't have an answer for unless you're a hardcore smoker or had Covid and permanently lost your sense of smell. The place appears clean and nice but the old smell of smoke is what will keep me away.

Kym Shi J.

Yelp
The bands are grooving and moving on Friday but the machines are not ....someone needs to call the state their machines are gaged...and set ...no thanks... they use to be lively it just dry machines are so low you can't hear what you're playing ....don't waste your time and money

Willie D.

Yelp
The rest of the property is sub par. If you karaoke twice a week or more in Naughty Ladies with specials for locals, industry or ladies, you'd make a killing Definite 5 stars all around!

Phuck O.

Yelp
Stay away--- this casino in it's death spiral.................... understand it is for sale, customer service is very poor -- have increased room deposit from $75 to $150. Gift shop prices have skyrocketed. Customer amenities reduced or eliminated---- even for Epic cardholders. quality of food at Sourdough is terrible: example-- ordered soft poached eggs for breakfast--- they came out hard boiled. The servers tried their best, but took multiple returns before correct. Ordered 99 cent side of mushrooms to put on hash browns----- they sauteed less than 1 mushroom. Ordered pulled pork sandwich----- got a whole forkful of cole slaw! they reduced serving size............... this place is not worth it---- terrible management. The good servers have left---- only new employees and old-timers left who cannot get other jobs before retiriing. Casino is for sale. Top management leaving---- only managers staying are unemployable elsewhere. Prices UP, quality/sevice Down. Only reason they have one star is it is required by Yelp---- otherwise, would have given a minus 10. Cannot use points as they advertise at other properties---- PT's does not take Charlie's points---- only points earned at taverns............... so false advertising!!! PT's took over Charlie's in 2017----- and do not care about customers.

J.R. R.

Yelp
Every single time I come here to make a take out order at Sourdough Cafe, there is no one manning the to go cafe. Not once, not twice, at least 4 times already. Sad part is the hostess always says "Oh she's in the back". 10 minutes everytime at least just sitting around waiting as apparently no one else can take a take out order. Do better AC!

Jeremi A.

Yelp
I usually don't leave negative reviews but I just had to this time........... For starters on the day of check in we went to our room and someone was already in there so we had to go back downstairs and get a new room then the front desk act like we wasn't in the system even though she had just given us our room key, So we finally get to the room and it's not looking like my $600 was not spent on the right sleeping arrangements. Let me start this off by saying how the hell yall charge for WiFi that the hotel is providing to the rooms smh they literally said the first day is free and only for one device then it's 9.99 per device per day I'm literally puzzled at this hotel 1.The room smelled like a weird odor 2. The bathroom shower was dirty and had stains in the tub and all around the base 3. There's a box with cords hanging under the tv and When I turned the tv on there was not one clear channel at all every channel I changed to had black and white lines like they needed to fix the antenna so we call down to the front desk and they send maintenance and he tells us we may need a new box so I'm thinking ok great we will be able to watch tv but no he says there's only a select few clear channels that actually work (2 channels) and that's the best he can do smh, At this point I just want to go downstairs get some food and go to sleep so as I'm walking to the elevator it smells of feces and urine coming from a few of the rooms but oh no when I thought it couldn't get any worse I look at the picture that's mounted across from the elevator and guess what I see...... A roach staring me dead in my face I'm not sure what kinda hotel this is but this had to be the worst experience I've had in Vegas or in any hotel EVER

Dennis L.

Yelp
I have been staying here on business seven Saturday nights annually for the last several years. Tonight, 3/9/24 is the last time. No less than four times within the span of three hours, I called to have their engineering people come to the room to fix a couple of minor problems. Nobody ever showed up. Beside that, the TVs in the rooms are standard definition with horrible and grainy resolution. Really? In this day and age in 2024, there should be high definition TVs in every room. And they charge a resort fee. For what? Nothing other than their parking lots. I will never stay there again. Every stay is worse and worse than the preceding stay. The ownership of Arizona Charlie's Decatur should be ashamed of themselves. They could not care less about their guests.

Yelp
Terrible hotel and casino, will never stay here again and would advise everyone else to stay away. They charged me a smoking fee after I left when I've never smoked a day in my life. They will try to cash grab you for staying here.

Yelp
Do NOT stay here, unless you have a lot of patience and willing to be given the run around because of their lack of technology, and making it YOUR problem. Absolute WORST check in experience I've ever had. The line was a mile long, and had a young girl at the front desk doing EVERYTHING! My credit card works perfectly fine, but when swiping it the machine wasn't catching it. They had no chip enabling, no way of manually typing in the card, no other swiping method. Because their machine wasn't "catching it". I had to hold up the line digging out another card that the machine DID catch. They don't accept cash, so you'd think they'd have other check in method. The room was nice and clean though. I will not be a repeat customer. This place is not worth the trouble.

Yelp
I have been here a handful of times, primarily to play blackjack. I enjoy the tables and dealers, but the guy in the pit, Mike, is one of the rudest people I've ever seen in a casino. I typically play between $25-50/hand and when I get ready to leave and ask for a comp, he is awful to me. He was awful to my friend as well. Regardless of the amount of comp asked for or received, it is totally unacceptable to be treated in this way. Today I was treated rudely by him for the third visit in a row. While I will be seeking out management to report this behavior, I am uncertain if I will return.

Yelp
I booked a 1 night stay here; checking in on Friday 11/01/24. When I walked up to the registration counter there were 4 employees present. 2 were only working for the rewards side and 2 were on the hotel check in side. All 4 of the employees were talking amongst themselves and I was not initially acknowledged. Mind you they were not helping other customers because I was the only customer there. The employees on the registration side FINALLY finished their conversation and one of them looked at me, never said a word and walked to a door behind the counter and disappeared never to be seen again. The other person who was still at the counter picked up the telephone instead of greeting or acknowledging me, never even looked at me. So I am just standing there while they carry on a phone conversation about who knows what. At last I can no longer be ignored so I am called up to the counter. The representative is totally void of any true greeting and has absolutely no customer service skills. I check in, receive the room keys and go up to the room. I then realized that I was supposed to leave a key downstairs for my husband, so back downstairs I go with the other room key. There is a different employee at the counter this time. I explain I need to leave a key for my husband and I'm asked for my ID. I explained that it's up in the room I literally just checked in and I only need to leave this key for my husband. The employee continues to tell me that I need my ID to make any transactions. At this point I asked for a manager, and miraculously the employee states they can do it for me just this one time as a courtesy; (please believe me honey this is the only time you'll ever see me in this establishment so I will never need anything else from you or anyone here as a courtesy). Now let's let's get to this room...... I am a person who loves to be barefoot so I was wearing slip on shoes. I walk into the room, put down my things and take off my shoes. The carpet felt so old, crunchy and GROSS that I immediately slipped my shoes back on and vowed never to put my bare feet on any floors in this room. The room was ugly, and outdated. It had the popcorn ceiling from the 60's through the 80's and the horrible lamp suspended from the ceiling by a chain from the same era. There are not enough outlets around and the place lacks warmth. When you turn on the water in the tub the pipes make noise and it took longer than it should for the water to get hot. This is not the experience we thou feed have here. All in all the room served its purpose but we decided we will never stay at this hotel again. If you are looking for a room and you don't care how it looks or feels, and you aren't partial to great customer service then Arizona Charlie's is for you. Otherwise choose another hotel to stay at. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Yelp
Title: Smokey as hell Babe......if you want to get lung cancer in one day, this is the spot. If you never smoked and always wanted to try... This is the spot. Don't even spend your money on cigarettes. Just step in this place. This would have been great location had it not been for that. I literally hated walking through their lobby. I even checked out the night before because I couldn't wait until morning. The smoke was coming through the vents when I turned the AC on, It was horrible. Management get a better ventilation system, build a smoking area outside. I couldn't even play the slot machines. I had to go to another hotel just for that. Lastly my pillows smelled like pee.

Yelp
This casino used to be so fun to play at. Walked in tonight and you didn't hear any bonuses or anyone hitting any decent pay lines. We noticed the machine tightening up but this is ridiculous. They robbed us for $360 in just a half hour. Above the dirty full ashtrays on every machine the place just felt dirty and reeked. And not only due to the large amount of tweekers playing a penny at a time. When we had family or friends come to town we took them to Charlie's, but that won't be happening nor will we be back. It's really sad how management has let this place go down hill. Slum Lord must be a prerequisite to being an Arizona.Charlies general manager.

Yelp
Nice casino off the strip. Wasn't as Smokey as I was expecting. Although it was hard to get a drink. Went for an event at the Nasty Girl Lounge and it's a good nice area but get there early if you want a seat. This particular event was packed!! Standing room only!

Yelp
Nice chill locals casino not too far from the strip. I was surprised how chill it was. I was expecting to have a lower min blackjack amount like $5 but I had the table all to myself which was nice and felt very low pressure. The crowd doesn't feel as decrepit as other locals casinos. Even Palace Station has a rougher crowd. I would totally come here with friends and I'm kinda Hollywoody and douchey. Not to be annoying, but because it feels like a dive bar casino. You know what I mean. I didn't leave here feeling sad like I do a lot of the other locals casinos. I'd come back. The blackjack dealers were nice. I had the older Asian woman with short hair and then the Caucasian younger one that's of a larger size. I kinda want to stay here. And live here. And work here. And be the mayor.

Yelp
Had a bad experience with the true rewards personnel on 12/28/2023 @ noon. Another foul up with not being able to get premiums with the true rewards. The software changed for the worse, and runs out of paper leading to having to go to the center, stand in line and get the premium. The true rewards personnel do not listen to people, instead stare at the computer screen, and act as if I am bothering them somehow. I go to Arizona Charlies regularly, but I want people to know that the True Rewards has become really lame. I have had similar experiences when the rewards were managed at the cage. It seems to me that the people who work in these areas are NOT hospitable, and treat people as if they are being bothered if they have to do anything outside of the box for a customer. Disgusted with this place a little too much lately. I hope it gets better someday. Maybe I should start looking for another place for Locals that want to treat their guests better, and not like cattle. No bosses on the floor, and when they are, they make you feel stupid when you ask questions. Again like I am "bothering" them somehow. They apparently are NOT trained in hospitality. On a positive note, the cocktail waitresses and machine service attendants are very friendly and even when they are busy, maintain composure and give acceptable or outstanding service.

Yelp
This hotel maybe the one of the worst in Las Vegas. It all started when I reserved a Non-Smoking room, when I checked in they told me they had sold out all the rooms and they only had Smoking rooms. I was forced to stay in the room. Room was very dirty, bathtub was disgusting. Customer service bad and at no point they try to fix any of the issues in the room! Definitely not a family friendly!

Yelp
This was my first time to Arizona Charlie's on Decatur to see a show. My favorite Vegas band BLOCK PARTY was performing and it was a great experience. The show was absolutely phenomenal. The venue was clean and clean and well arranged. The sound man did a great job. The bartender seemed to keep up with pumping out the drink orders. When there was a spill or broken glass it was cleaned up quickly. The only thing I would say negative is the cigarette smoke was thick and I had a hard time breathing, so I kept my mask on and I was fine.

Yelp
this place is a scam they trick you into thinking you are getting a room at a discount. then you have to go to a presentation that once you get there you are forced to pay an additional 300 dollars for not making a certain amount income . the too was filled with so may elderly people and people who could not afford a time share . they just want the extra 300 bucks . you don't even get a chance to speck to anyone just handed a card call corporate office . This hotel needs to be closed down immediately
