The museum is well laid out. A portion is dedicated to archeological findings. More recent history, 1900s on, is also well shown. The other major component relates to the initial beneficial effects of prohibition followed by the dramatic decline in the economy once prohibition was repealed.
Much of the information is translated into English. Using their WiFi I was able to fill in the gaps with Google Translate, using the camera function, that worked very well.
Worth a visit.
The museum also organizes a guided tour of the town as well as Île aux Marins. The guide, Kieren, was excellent. He has an excellent command of English.
