Saint Anton has international reputation in many areas. Its culinary experience is typically not one of them. However, Hospiz Alm is a clear exception. * Gourmet dining to high international standards. * Young super attentive staff with a great smile on their face. * Good value for money. To offer a tasting menu prepared to perfection at this price point is very competitive, also without accounting for typical ski resorts markup. Overall a very good experience.

The Hospiz Alm provided an unforgettable evening for my birthday a few weeks ago. From the private tour of their exquisite wine cellar complete with tasting to the thoughtful setup of a pre-set menu for our group of 23, every detail was attended to with such care and personal touch. Their team's hospitality truly went above and beyond – it’s clear that they've mastered the art of creating memorable experiences. The food was absolutely amazing, and our special magnum bottle of wine (which, admittedly, we enjoyed entirely that night!) will forever serve as a cherished token of that magical evening in my home. I am so grateful that I chose Hospiz Alm for my birthday celebration a night none of us will ever forget. I look forward to visiting Hospiz Alm again and sharing more wonderful moments with their remarkable team!!!

A Hidden Gem in the Alps – A Must-Visit restaurant! Nestled in the heart of the Austrian Alps, Hospiz Alm is more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience! What was once a bomb shelter now houses the world’s largest collection of large-format Bordeaux bottles, making it a paradise for wine lovers. Karl Heinz, the manager, is an incredible host who ensures every guest has a perfect experience. The food is absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere is unmatched. Even if you have to drive an hour to get here, it’s more than worth it. You owe it to yourself to visit this extraordinary place. Ask to visit the wine celler! And try the ceremonial Kaiserschmarrn

We had lunch twice. Wednesday was perfect, Friday mega chaotic. They lost our reservation so we had to fight for a table. We were with only 5 people but all got our dish at a different time. We had to ask everything three times... Not the experience we were used to.

Great spot for lunch mid ski day. Best places to go when the sun is shining in the Arlberg. They have a very extensive wine selection. The schnitzel is over priced for what it is but the Tyrollean dumplings were delicious and the best apple strudel I had all trip.

My husband insisted we visit Arlberg Hospiz Alm, and I’m so grateful he did—it was an unforgettable experience. This stunningly traditional restaurant surpassed all my expectations. From the moment we walked in, everything felt magical. The host welcomed us warmly and gave us a private tour of the restaurant, which was a rare and truly special experience. The charm, history, and unique design of the space left me speechless. The highlight of our visit was the wine cellar—an absolute masterpiece. The collection of rare and aged wines was unlike anything I’d ever seen. The separate tasting rooms, each beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, added an extra layer of elegance to the experience. Every detail, from the ambiance to the impeccable hospitality, made our visit extraordinary. Arlberg Hospiz Alm isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience that stays with you. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting St. Christoph. It’s a place you’ll never forget!

We went for dinner, and while the restaurant has a great vibe and cool atmosphere, the staff seemed intent on upselling and pushing you to order overly expensive items. They even made us order portions that didn’t make any sense. We got a tomahawk and a T-bone steak, which were disappointing—lacking flavor and served cold. To sum it up, the restaurant looks amazing but is overpriced, and the food isn’t great. That said, they have an incredible wine cellar downstairs—make sure to ask for a tour. I’ve never seen anything like it!

I recommended this restaurant to my group of friends so that we could all go together. I really regret it. Although they impressed with the decoration and costumes, these were just artificial effects far from quality. The taste of the food was average. But the worst part was that they actually encouraged the group of 8-10 men at the table next to us who were harassing the female waiter, let alone preventing them. As a result, these customers disturbed us a lot with their noise and we left the place as soon as possible. What a shame!
