Google
Fantastic food. Fantastic service! I was surprised by the "dine in fee". We are not from Arlington so maybe that is common. We will be back for sure.

Google
I had an exceptional experience at Arlington Kabob! The customer service surpassed expectations, and the food was not only amazing but also incredibly fresh. The prices were remarkably reasonable, and their attentiveness, such as providing butter and sauces, added a thoughtful touch. The dishes were impeccably clean, and the food presentation was exemplary. The only suggestion for improvement would be to consider expanding the dining area. The free tea was a delightful surprise, adding to the overall positive experience. It's no wonder they have such high ratings on Google—choosing them based on those reviews was absolutely right! A heartfelt thank you for the fantastic dining experience with friends and family. If I could, I would give them a 10 out of 5.

Google
ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! I LOVE Arlington Kabob. I drive out from Dupont circle once a week to eat here. There are lots of places nearby downtown DC but the food is trash. The ladies that work the counter are kind, outgoing, friendly and professional. They remember my order and always have a smile on their face and provide such an amazing experience. The food is fresh, healthy, delicious and the protein is excellent quality. I love their brick oven bread, the lentil is amazing, the salads delicious and the kabobs are wonderful. The value for the amount of food and the quality you get is outstanding. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Google
Ordered takeout beef and chicken kabob. Beef was flavorless and had a very bad texture. Chicken was cooked very nicely and had great flavor. Not very big portion sizes as meat goes, but they fill you up with rice and bread. We ordered the lentils and spinach for sides. Lentils were very good and flavorful. Spinach was OK. They have very good free hot tea to drink while you wait, which is a big plus. Rating by item: Beef Kabob 2.5/5 Chicken Kabob 5/5 Lentils 5/5 Spinach 3/5 Other sauces and bread were good.

Google
The BEST place for Kabobs in the entire NoVa area. Not only is the food amazing, but the employees are so sweet and sincerely kind and caring. The food amazingly delicious and it tastes that much better when combined with the best customer service around. Myself and our families will go nowhere else for Kabobs, Lentil soup is a must as well, along with the Baklava (w/ or w/o walnuts) is mouth watering yummy too.

Google
I arrived here early on a Saturday and they’d just opened. The place was clean and quiet. There was a woman wiping down tables. My order of a gyro and a rice/chicken platter was taken quickly. The food took about 20 minutes for takeout. I watched them make the flatbread. The food was tasty and the quality and quantity was justifiable for the price.

Google
We ordered the dinner for 3, with chickpeas and potatoes as sides. Plenty of food for our family of four with leftovers. Everything was delicious--the best lamb and chicken kabobs that we've had in the area. The bread is as authentic as you can get, chewy and slightly crispy. I would recommend maybe ordering the larger portions of sides to go along with the meat and rice. I stopped in earlier that day to look at the menu for dinner and was given a sample of the chickpeas to go! Highly recommend.

Google
Delicious food. Generous portion sizes. Clean washrooms. Found this place on our road trip . Good to have a halal place this this.

Yelp
I've been visiting for 2 weeks and have eaten here 6 times. What else can I say? Super good, super quick, super affordable.

Yelp
I have been coming here for years and it is absolutely the best kofta / kafta I've ever had. I have went to every high rated kebab shop up and down the east coast and nothing compares to Arlington Kabob. Their kebabs are seasoned perfect and cooked well, with a little char broil that makes them extra phenomenal. The bread they make is also incredible and not enough can be said for their dipping sauces, which are mouth watering. The rice and veggies on the side are always exceptional as well. They are always friendly and attentive, and it is nice to see them expand the front area over the years. I cannot say enough good things about Arlington Kabob. I am extremely picky and I stop here every time I am in Virginia, sometimes even driving out of my way just to get take out from here.

Yelp
Still one of my go to places. It's comfort food for me. They are very consistent with the flavor and quality of their food. My most recent order included a chicken kebab with spinach, stew, and potato stew,, lentil, soup, and a vegetable kebab. Everything was really good, as always.

Yelp
No-frills, hole-in-the-wall, middle eastern spot with a wide selection of wraps and platters containing a wide-variety of different meats. I came here for take-out, and they seemed to be running quite the operation! There were a ton of cooks in the back running around and pounding out massive amounts of to-go orders. I opted for a chicken schwarma wrap. It took about 10 minutes to be prepared, but it was very affordable and huge! I finished it, but I was pretty stuffed afterwards. It also came with a bag of chips as well. The pita the wrap was on was fluffy, flavorful, and delicious, but the rest of the flavors were pretty mild. There was also a TON of raw onion, which I ended up having to pull out of the wrap

Yelp
One of my favorite kabob restaurants in the DMV area! Ordered the salmon & beef platter and it was so flavorful and delicious!

Juli C.

Yelp
We've been ordering food from Arlington Kabob ever since it opened years ago. The food is always good. We tend to order the Gyro platter. and the chicken kebabs every once in a while they have an eggplant dish, which is really great, but they don't have it very often. I'm glad to see this place. Has watered the test of time in the location. I hope Susan has continued success for many years.

Yelp
A regular stop for us. My go to order is the salmon with chickpeas on the side. Super juicy and perfectly seasoned salmon that is a decent size. I pour the chick peas over my rice and, this really hit the spot. This and Shah are my favorite two kabab style spots in the area, although Arlington's Grilled Salmon is better than the fried fish at Shah's if that's what you are looking for.

Yelp
We got takeout for dinner and tried the chicken kabob and beef kabob. They come with rice, naan, and a vegetable (we tried the chickpeas and salad). The beef kabob was very tender!!! The chicken was just okay but i think it's hard to make an impressive chicken. The bread was really really good especially with the green sauce they give you! We wish it had a spicy sauce or something for the rice. We placed our order over the phone and it was ready fast - very convenient and good service.

Yelp
I ordered food here multiple times both dine in and take out and each time was a great experience. Staff was very quick to take order even on the phone. There is ample space and tables to eat. My in laws tried also the chicken kofta, beef Kofta, and the kabobs and they loved it. I recommend getting the platters such as for 4 people since it has a lot of food for good value. Naan and baklava were amazing too. The sauces on the side were very delicious. Highly recommend this place!

Roger C.

Yelp
Amazing food. Beef & lamb tasted incredible. The staff could not have been more welcoming. Highly recommend!!!

Yelp
One of my favorite kabob places. I ordered the lamb kabobs with lentils and chickpeas, and everything was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The restaurant is small but can accommodate a large family as long as it's not too busy. You often see a family or two dining in, though we usually take our food to go. Parking can be limited during the day, but it's much easier to find a spot after work hours. Highly recommend this place for its tasty food and friendly service!

Yelp
Wonderful for quick comfort food that's going to come out fresh. Lovely staff - clean - fresh hot flavorsome food. A good choice if in the area and pressed for time. Strongly suggest if heavens forbid you're stuck at the hospital around the corner and want a solid option.

Yelp
Got the minced beef and chicken kebab combo but the beef looked really pink and tasted like minced chicken or just poor quality beef. It was also very very dry not to mention it being very small. Chicken kebab chunks were also super dry, tough, puny in size. They looked half the size of the pics in their menu. I had really looked forward to this place after all the good reviews but was very disappointed with Arlington kebab.

Yelp
To be fair I had this at a friends house who ordered takeout for a dinner party. Therefore I'm not 100% what we ordered. But everything I ate was tasty, and our entrees were like an afghan Indian hybrid (doner covered in tandoor seasoning, for example). It was all very good, and will definitely put it into my rotation.

Yelp
Presentation of food: 5 Service: 5 This is located on a strip, parking was available on a Saturday night around 6pm as other stores on the strip weren't open and a lot of people opt for take out. There's about 10-15 spaces available in front. There's a 10% food tax and a 10% dine in fee. We're not in Arlington a lot so we were unaware. However, if you opt to dine in, they put the tables together for you and there is complimentary water or hot tea. Although, I noticed a lot of people do take out and a few dined in. The combo platter had great presentation and came with 2 naan on the side with dip. You also have an option of choosing your 2 sides (chickpeas, potatoes, house salad, lentils, etc)

Yelp
Great little hole in the wall that deserves all of its stars. Food was good, portions were generous, and prices were fair. We ordered takeout, and the service was solid.

Angie M.

Yelp
Delicious food!! Such sweet and accommodating staff. Had a lovely lunch with our 4 kids today.
google avatar

Tyrone Omar N.

Yelp
Really liked their Combo Platter for 2!! I thought the portion was enough for two people and the flavors did not disappoint. Will be ordering again!
google avatar

Jane M.

Yelp
This place is so mid, I don't understand all the rave reviews? Are all these rave reviewers people who've never had good Afghan kabobs? Even kabobs at some local chain spots (like Sheesh or Rasa) are so much better than this (no shade to either of those chains - I love their food).
google avatar

Sandra B.

Yelp
Took a chance on a quick bite and sat down to freshly baked flatbread to go with our delicious order of kabobs. The juicy meat was so tender; the sides complemented nicely. The service was reasonable; even though it's a small shop, it was the perfect size for 1:1 catch-up time with my brother. And since they are close by, I'd consider this my go-to place for kabobs.

Yelp
Easily the best or second Best kabob shop in the DC area, Arlington kabob is delicious. I got off early from work one day and decided to go for a quick bite at Arlington kabob for lunch. I ordered the chicken kabob sandwich which came wrapped in made to order naan alongside a white and a green chutney sauce. The sauce paired excellently with the meat and bread and the sandwich was soon gone. I will be back soon! My only gripe is that they don't have fries. While I think the kabob is better at Arlington Kabob vs. Courthouse kabob, I think the side options are better at Courthouse.

Yelp
I've been going here for years with my best friend post gym and let me tell you this place is so bomb! We LOVE coming here after a leg day for our Beef Kabobs and also when we are craving amazing high quality food. The staff is so kind, they remember our names and our orders without having to say anything. They also remember the extra sauces on the side which I appreciate bc I love the green and white sauces as an extra addition. That shows how much we love this place, the staff and the food. I'm such a picky eater - someone who works out excessively and eats meal preps at home 90% of the time, but this is my favorite spot I will gladly eat at and never feel guilty! To me it's places like this I rather eat at feeling satisfied and full than Michelin restaurants in DC where I'm still starving afterwards. I saw comments mentioning it's a hole in the wall, which is fair, but to me those are some of the best gems and places to find for a quick bite. I get everything I need and more here so thank you! :)

Richard Q.

Yelp
The food at Arlington kabob is exceptional, very tasty, out of this world, you must try all kabobs and other delicious dishes one at a time, service is excellent and the restaurant is very clean Thank you Richard Quader

Yelp
So good! My kids love the chicken and I love the chapli kabob platter. My go to option for nights I want to order in.
google avatar

Suriya L.

Yelp
This place has one of the best kabobs in Arlington for a really good price! The ambiance is average, I'd either go with one friend or do take out since their seating space is kind of limited! It's worth the drive, 100% recommend lamb and chicken kabobs.
google avatar

Ves S.

Yelp
Tasty and filling at the price point! We ate so quickly forgot to take a photo. We ordered ahead for pickup and the meals were neatly packaged and ready for us upon arrival. We ordered the combo for two. We get a beef and chicken kebab with beef and chicken kofta. It comes with rice and two sides. We got the garbanzo beans and spinach. Also comes with naan. The rice and naan were as expected. The meats though were very juicy! It still comes with tzatziki.
google avatar

Joyce W.

Yelp
Don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior! Arlington Kabob serves delicious kabobs! It looks more like a carry out place but there are tables inside for dine in! The combo platter for 3 allows you to choose two sides and try the different kabobs. We were so full and had so much rice left over!
google avatar

Richard W.

Yelp
Arlington Kabob is a great place to get your kabob or in my case my lamb chop fix in. Great for single diners or to pick up family meal bundle. The mains are delicious and don't sleep on the rice and chickpeas. Other options for sides are available; but I have only had the rice and chickpeas. Best to call in your order, they always seem to be busy; but the quality and friendliness of the staff never wavers.

Fahim F.

Yelp
great food. Great service. I tried their combo platter. I didn't want bread. They were kind enough to replace it with potato sides. The food and qubli polao was tasty.
google avatar

Armand L.

Yelp
The food was outstanding! Please start with the fresh baked bread and hummus. The kabobs are delicious. I prefer chicken and beef. The service was very attentive and hospitable. The parking was ample in the strip mall. The ambiance was nice and very clean. The price was economical. We will be back !!! Thank you

Yelp
This is my favorite Kabob place anywhere and I am picky! I love their chicken kabobs. And get the potatoes. It's not just potatoes it has carrots and is almost like a post roast side. It's sooo amazing. Better than the chickpeas I get everywhere else. Try them. Pic attached.
google avatar

Josh A.

Yelp
Best naan bread in Arlington. Very fast and good food. Recommend the platter to get a taste of them all.
google avatar

Yelp
Best DoorDash and chicken kabob I ever had. The sweet tzatziki sauce and Quabli rice were the perfect addition to a wholesome meal. I already added it to my shopping cart for the next time I get hungzy (hungry and lazy).
google avatar

Ryan M.

Yelp
The chicken and beef Kafka is our "go to" when dining here. Always delicious and a great deal for Arlington.

Yelp
Great food, huge portions Couldn't even finish it all. Parking is tricky but after you've ordered all is forgiven

Yelp
Four words: I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! First stopped by there during pandemic as a way to support local restaurants and thought I would try one I never had been to. I ordered the chicken kabob with quabli and the meals usually come with a choice of two sides and rice (always amply provided). I though the meal was absolutely delicious and filling and very affordable. It's now become my go-to dish and I crave it. The place has a small area for about 4-6 tables to sit and eat, and it's a very informal atmosphere. But this place is more about the food than the atmosphere, so most of the time I got take out. Once I arrived late at night after a hard day at work, minute before closing and the owner very graciously prepared a meal for me. This is why I keep going back again. Consistently awesome food and service.
google avatar

Ron S.

Yelp
Fast and friendly service. The food was great. We had the Beef Kabob and Kafka kabob plates both were delicious. We ordered take out and it was prepared quick. Visiting from California it was a great place to eat.

coreima c.

Yelp
I ordered take out! Everything was sooooo fresh! The food was sooo good! Probably one of my favorites in the area
google avatar

Alison R.

Yelp
We love this place. Kabobs are always cooked perfectly and come with a choice of sides, plus naan. Great choice when you are hungry and don't have time or energy to cook a proper meal. Friendly service too!
google avatar

R H.

Yelp
Best kabob in the area and generous portions too. Chicken and ground beef are amazing but I found the unground beef cubes a tad dry. Great overall though!
google avatar

Melissa B.

Yelp
I happened upon this small mom and pop ethic restaurant while on my way t the bank nearby. Since kabob was in the name, I figured that they may sell gyros as well. I came on in and discovered that they have a pretty good selection of both kabobs and gyros. The menu board listed both the sandwiches and platter options, and the prices that were displayed seemed reasonable. It had been a decent amount of time since I've had a gyros, and tonight was the night that Iot back on track with my Greek gyro fix. When zi arrived there wasn't anyone seated inside the dining area, so I took the table right next to the window. There were plenty of folks coming in for their phone orders though. I called for less than seven minutes, until the gyro was brought to my table on a plate. I felt that was classy. The gyro is pretty good too!
google avatar

Breen B.

Yelp
Really good food and the service was very welcoming. Bread is always fresh. I still have to try more and will be back again
google avatar

Usamah N.

Yelp
This was some of the best kabob I've ever had. Every bite was just full of flavor!! I wasn't the biggest kabob fan but this place blows a lot of the places out the water. The lamb chops are definitely up their in price but MANNN THEY WERE SO GOOD!!! Also got the chicken kabob salad, which was also super good. My friend absolutely loved his kofta & rice too and both were just shocked how good the good was
google avatar

Maya N.

Yelp
Dillon and Susan - business partners from Pakistan and Afghanistan run this place like a family. The fusion of the tastes is evident from all their dishes Spicy Chapli kabob- hands down best in the US- they have the kick of desi seasoning japalpenos and peppers with onions with the meatiness of a true afghan kabob Chicken shawerma - very well grilled Lamb chops - some of the best; not too dry Beef koobideh - this was more like a kofta than a koobideh - not what I expected tbh but still very good Kabuli pulao - not that awesome but ok for American fast kabob place standards Now let's talk about the most important thing apart from marination and taste: the quality of ingredients; these guys straight up grind all their meat at the shop , all meat is made fresh to order on the spot and you can taste that. They both take great pride in their cooking and you can tell. The free tea is nice too. Recommend for hardcore kabob foodies

Salman K.

Yelp
Great food and especially the naan, fresh! I had a great dinner there, one of the best lamb kabobs I have had.

David K.

Yelp
Food was very good and plentiful. Staff was great. This is not a fancy place. Would definitely go back! Small seating area. Excellent cheap eat
google avatar

Colleen K.

Yelp
This place is such a gem! You get a ton of delicious food for an amazing value. I always order the chicken kabob with the chickpea side, which is a delicious combination. The chicken is always so juicy and flavorful, whether getting takeout or dining in!
google avatar

Christine H.

Yelp
What a great neighborhood find! I found the combo platters to be quite delicious with the meat perfectly cooked, the presentation delightful, and the service pleasant. The chickpeas and the other vegetable sides are great, and I really think that this rivals any of the other afghan kabob places around, particularly because of the great presentation. The warm and fresh bread is a plus too! I'd rate it a 4.5/5 that i'm rounding up to a 5.

Sam N.

Yelp
I would like to share my experience at Arlington Kobab that was one of the worst experiences I have ever had, the tall Arabic lady who is representing the restaurant and standing at the check-in is miserable, she has no experience at all on how to deal with customers, she is very rude and very unprofessional, I don't know why the business owner is keeping such a staff like that. I ordered my food through the phone and after 35 minutes when I went to the restaurant to pick up my food, she was so rude when I asked about my food, as it was not ready I just smile to her and I told her take your time, she turned her back to me ignoring me in a very unprofessional way and talking in different language to the other lady, Arlington Koba, you don't respect elderly people. You don't deserve working here, I have been Arlington Kobab customer for many years but from now on, I will never be.
