Was in town decided to go get boneless wings since I had them last two times I was here. The cook was nice and brought my food outside less then 10 min, lady at register paid no mind to me til she was done on her phone. Not even a smile thank you nothing. Boneless wings are the worst I had so dry and chewy like they were made yesterday. Disappointed for sure 15$ later.

I used to love this place. It was my go to spot, when visiting the area, but what a disappointment. The food was terrible, ordered a bacon cheese burger that had no taste and the bun was super cold, like right out of the fridge, with cold cheese. The service sucked, the bartender/ waitress was so offended by me asking if they had Grey Goose, she literally laughed at my face and looked at me like I had two heads. She could had politely just said, “no” and directed me towards other vodkas they served…Will never…bother to come back!

I used to come here every Monday night for wing night. Amazing food and during summer you are able to sit outside. Live entertainment was awesome as well.

Haven't been here in years but it's great for memories since I remember it this well after years.

Love this spot for everything from homemade goat milk soap to quality wines (surprisingly large selection!).

We love Arlos. We bring our two little kids often. The pizza and pierogis are great and the country store is awesome, especially the ice cream! The waitresses are outstanding. They run circles around Philly area servers. I’ve never seen such hardworking waitstaff. They always give us a warm welcome. The live music is top notch. So grateful for this wonderful spot.

Google
Ordered a pizza and I'm allergic to onions....sooo the pizza come out with onions on it... explain to the polite waitress I would never have ordered onions on any of my food..... kind enough they make me another pizza but this 1 comes out with half RAW dough... sorry I know you're a busy place but good food take time .. Fast food is from McDonald's. . Take your time and make quality food so no one get sick. ..RJ

Yelp
Came here with friends today and was pleasantly surprised. The wings were delicious as was everyone's lunch. Service was excellent too. My only issue was that smoking was allowed in the dining area. Nevertheless we will definitely come back!

Yelp
The 3 stars is strictly for the food and the service at the bar. They deserve all the praise and I mean that. What I am not a fan of is the behavior of one of the clerks in the store area. Given that it is Pennsylvania, there is an arbitrary limit on how much alcohol can be purchased per transaction. I knew this going in, and while it is a thing, it makes buying alcohol in stores like this somewhat frustrating. I asked the clerk behind the counter what the limit was, he told me, and I made one purchase of alcohol before getting my food, and I said to the other worker there "this is for a family member." So I made the purchase, took it out to my car, and then went to the bar area to order my food, I had one drink and an appetizer. I went back into the store to make another purchase of alcohol for a second family member, which had to be a separate purchase, and then had to make a third purchase for myself. Upon my third purchase, which is heavily annoying for everyone involved at this point, the clerk walks over attempting to intimidate me. He says "Are you planning on getting drunk tonight?" First of all, it's none of his business what customers do in their private time. Second, what if I was? Third, because of Pennsylvania's moronic liquor laws, I have to waste my time and the time of the clerk behind the counter. I said to store clerk "This is for my family. I already presented my ID, do you want to see it?" And I showed the worker my ID and he backed away. He was out of line and condescending, which was all frankly unnecessary. All of this is not a reflection on the food nor the service in the bar area. I mentioned that up top. But the clerk in the store area needs to mind his own business and respect the privacy of his customers.

Yelp
Wow has this place gone down fast. New owners took over and you can tell they don't care about the food and bar, only the gas station. The bar glasses, plates and silverware is DIRTY. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. What a shame. Was a great venue. The staff is friendly and welcoming but obviously don't like to clean. The men's room smells like piss and is filthy. Wife said ladies room didn't smell but was not clean. Sad to see this place crash and burn. I will not be back

Yelp
We stopped in yesterday to listen to some fun live music in Arlo's Tavern. We decided to order cheesesteaks and fries along with our beers. I'm a Philadelphia girl so I'm kind of snobby about my cheesesteaks and I wasn't expecting too much. Let me tell you, the cheesesteaks were perfection! Juicy, tender beef, the perfect ratio of cheese to meat (something Philadelphians look for), and a fantastic chewy roll! The Arlo's cheesesteak also includes optional onions, peppers and mushrooms, which did not overwhelm the cheesesteak. The French fries were crisp and delicious. And the beer was cold! I ordered the IPA from Waulenpawpack Brewing Company and it was very good. Also, the live music and good service made for a fun and friendly atmosphere.

Yelp
Very impressed. We have had a home up here for 10+ years. Arlos has changed a lot - especially in the last few years. This year they got new gas pumps, and paved the entire parking lot. Looks great. Today, we ate in the tavern. The menu is very small, but the food we got was excellent. And has a lot of value for your money. My friend had the Cheesesteak. It was huge. They have live music a lot of nights during the summer (see card). The music area is large and clean. Lots of seating. Arlos also has an Ice Cream window, a convenience store and a deli. One stop shopping for everything.

Yelp
"You can get anything you want at ..." Arlo's Country Store and Tavern and gas station, and wine and beer store, and clothing store, and entertainment venue, and diner/restaurant, and bar and grill, and convenience store. "Good morning, America, how are ya. Don't ya know me, I'm your native son!" Meet Frank, the owner, chief cook and bottle washer at Arlo's and one of the nicest, most accommodating proprietors you'd ever want to meet. We went for the band (a friend plays keyboards with the sometimes house band, The Soul Shakers) and stayed for breakfast the next morning. Two over medium, bacon, home fries, rye toast and coffee ... the most reasonably priced "standard" breakfast I've had in years. If you're in the neighborhood and looking for a meal or a drink (or two) or a cup of coffee, or a fill-up for the car, or a baseball cap or a hoodie or a bottle of wine or a can of beans ... "you can get anything you want ... " Stop by and tell 'em Joe says "Hi!"

Yelp
Stopped by for gas and saw the tavern in the rear of the country store. Got a great cheese steak dub and a burger. Both were awesome. Will stop by again next time in the area.

Yelp
Great food - everyone loved their food. Wings were fantastic and fabulous service - can't wait to return to hear the live music!

Yelp
Great local place, we've met some nice People there! The food was pretty good. I can't wait to go back! Pat M

Yelp
Love this little country store in the middle of nowhere northeast Pennsylvania! Arlo's brought some life to this corner of the woods, that is for sure. :-)

Paul F.

Yelp
It's a bar/restaurant/convenience store/gas station with live music in the middle of nowhere and it is glorious.

Yelp
The county store has a great selection of items and friendly staff... thats about all I can ask for!

Yelp
Steak and cheese wrap works so good perfectly wrapped! Boneless wings flavored soooo good ! This place is amazing !! Great food and atmosphere five stars!!! Will be back!

Yelp
Stopped in yesterday for a take-out order. The Arlo burger, medium, was very tasty and ample in size. Despite the "face mask is mandatory" sign on the front of the door, compliance inside was poor from both customers and employees. Sadly I won't be back.

Yelp
This is a good old boys place in the middle of "nowhere". You will love it for no other reason than it's the only place there is for miles. It is the proverbial palm tree in a desert oasis, having said that, don't get your hopes set too high. It's a part of Arlo's Country Store, which has a better selection of baseball caps bearing their name, than food you want to buy. The store has "more to do" with being in the country, than being a store. So if you are visiting the area, bring everything you need and hope they have bread, milk and a can of Spam when you are desperate. The bar is big and open to a large patio during the summer, music some nights, wait staff were friendly and helpful, food was decent (remember your choice is Arlo's or cook it yourself). This brings us to pricing, $2 Pabst, and very reasonably priced meals and bottled beers! You should drop by, fill your car with gas (it's the only place for miles), get an ice cream, a baseball cap, a can of spam, and wash it down with a cold beer before spending the weekend with your in laws!

Yelp
So today, I had the pleasure of trying Arlo's Vanilla Yogurt Parfait with Blueberries & Strawberries. Even better than the Custard with Strawberry Parfait!!!!! The Greek yogurt that was used is perfect - so thick & creamy. Then layered with fresh berries & a yummy granola that really works all together. And they don't skimp on the serving size either! This is a delicious healthy breakfast that I recommend to anyone. Hint: Mix it all up in the cup to get a mix of all the flavors in each bite. Hope they add this to the "Custard Rewards" program :)

Yelp
They denied someone service due to a poor review on their Facebook page. Their business is not worth checking out.

Yelp
This is the closest place the the camp I'm attending so me and the girls decided to have a girls day. Unfortunately the bartender was just rude to us from the start. We sat down and starting taking out our legal identification(passports) and she immediately said she didn't take them. I'm astounded because we had been there multiple times and enjoyed it. I don't think we'll be going back..I'd much rather drive down 5 mins to Speakeasy where they know good customer service.

Rene D.

Yelp
We love Arlo's! Great food, great atmosphere, great entertainment and awesome staff! They also have gas pumps and a general store that pretty much has everything you would need.

Marie P.

Yelp
I LOVE ARLO'S!!!!!! Everyone here is groovy and cool. The music is top tier and they have great chicken. ROCK ON!

Yelp
Arlo's makes a great burger. I ordered mine well done and juicy, with cheese and crispy bacon, and the boys delivered. The meat has a subtle iron-beefy taste and there weren't any rubbery or hard surprise bits mixed in. The cheese, however, is bland; and I think it's because they use real cheese instead of processed. Kraft & Borden American were made for cheeseburgers; when you use unprocessed like cheddar, Gouda and even real muzz - the subtle flavors are cooked right out of them. Real sharp cheese like blue, ementhal, Gruyere and provolone can hold its own, but I didn't see any of those types as options. No biggie, I simply removed the cheese and left the pickle. French fries and onion rings are also well made. They're even better when you coat them (or dip) in the house made chili; which while mild it still has a nice bite to it. Breakfast is breakfast: they gave me sunnyside-ups with a hot runny yolk and very crispy potatoes and bacon. The inside seating is a little bit dingy and certainly cramped because of all the foot traffic going by you and the competition with the goods on display. For the most part though it's clean and the wi-fi and TV work. I was pissed though that they didn't have AMC; I missed a very important TWD episode: Rick got mad and Daryl was having a moment. You may also want to try the ice cream: lots of rotating flavors. I almost lapsed into a diabetic coma when trying to polish off 1/2 Campfire S'Mores and Maine Blueberry. Locally made ice cream is a big thing in the NEPA region and Arlo's sources well. I don't know if it's a summer only thing. Arlo's also has a decent gift shop and a huge parking lot (with gas pumps) complete with picnic benches if the mood so fits. And while live music (at night) and hotel rooms are available, I haven't experienced either to give a critique on. All in all though, Arlo's is worth the drive (day or Blair Witch like night) to get a Jules Winfield approved tasty burger.

Yelp
This place is the best. Not only could I party but I could also have fun with my family and friends. A great atmosphere no matter what kind of party you bring into this place. Alcohol and food lovers rejoice because they've got everything you would want and that's not just because I'm drunk and sitting here right now.

Yung R.

Yelp
Worst bar experience. There is an abrasive; blonde ignorant bartender who had initially served me a drink without even checking my ID, although I am 28; then when I chose to purchase another beverage and provided my passport, she acted like she'd never seen one before and refused to continue serving me because she said it was a fake without even taking the time to check the authenticity under a black light or simply by reading my personal information. This bartender either needs to learn to treat her customers with respect or go back to school and learn what a "passport" is. Very rude, very disrespectful. I would not recommend this type of bar to anyone.

Yelp
Absolutely love Arlo's! I visit area a few times a year even though it is out of my way i always make a trip Arlo's!

Yelp
Hard to find place in the middle of no where. The local bands from the Scranton area play music on weekends. It's one of the few places left that have live music in the area. A fun place filled with local people.

Yelp
Great live music, they're always packed on the weekend + excellent food and service. I've been going here for years!

Yelp
I just walked into this bar, walked over to the 6 packs and the man at the counter asked us for our IDs, which is perfectly fine. He looked at them for a good 3+ minutes and a girl came over to also take a look. Let me just say she was very aggressive.. to the point we felt uncomfortable before she was even directly rude to us .. she proceeded to stare at them then went on to quiz us on our address zip codes and Birthday.. I am 23 years old and never have I ever been quizzed on my information. When she quizzed me I had no idea because I changed my address and I have an address change card which, I asked her if she wanted. All she said was "No , GET OUT!" I was so uncomfortable.. I thought she was joking because her attitude was so bad so I laughed and asked if she was joking?!? She said again "No I'm not, BYE" ! This is crazy she was so rude. I will never be back. Also I posted this to their Facebook page and they blocked me! Seriously?!?

Michael R.

Yelp
What a great place for lunch! Never had a bad meal here, whether it was a burger, wrap, sandwich, or wings. Love the layout and the setting too! Wish they had more beers on tap (only two), but they have plenty of options from the bottle. Their French fries are great and you get a pickle with everything!

Judi N.

Yelp
Needs a complete over haul. I will not go here again. Broken gas pumps, horrible parking lot. Ordered a breakfast and it took 45 minutes. Ridiculous.

Danny R.

Yelp
I found this store on accident while searching for gas. While there mt coworkers and I decided to get breakfast since we have been driving for an hour without seeing any stores whats so ever. TO our surprise the breakfast was very good and the workers very friendly. We were stuck working in the area for the next two days and decided to return to Arlos, the Pancakes are awesome aswell as the french toast the eggs the butter even the syrup taste great! If you're in the area this will not be a bad choice!
