I recently celebrated my daughter's mile stone birthday at Armando's. We were all so very pleased with the service attentiveness of the staff. The food was outstanding and my daughter was extremely happy. Thank you for making this such a pleasant experience for her and my guests.

Google
I ate here a week ago. The service was horrible!!! The staff did not come back after they delivered our food. I had to refill my own water, grab a glass and plate off another table. The waiter finally came by to see if we needed anything when we were almost done with our meal. I called after I left to inform the owner how disappointed 😞 I was. She informed me that "I'll review the cameras and get back to you." Wow.. that's a first. She did call me back to informed me that we were assigned to another waitress due to them breaking down a party. Unfortunately, they never followed through. "I'm sorry it happened and it will never happened again." After explaining the situation to her again, her response was "I don't know what you want me to say. I said it will never happen again." This IS NOT the response I should have received. This whole experience was less than satisfactory and I was so disrespected by the owner/management. I will never eat here again and I will be sharing this story as well.

Google
Very good Italian food. The shrimp cocktail were freshly made and delicious. The chicken parmigiana was delicious. I rarely clean my plate. The capellini was done al dente. The wine pour was good. Prices are similar to other Italian restaurants but the food was great. My only negative is the bread wasn’t warm. The pizza is average. I wouldn’t get pizza there. But for a meal definitely worth stopping in.

Google
Terrific food. I had penne broccoli rabe. Tartufo for dessert. Friendly, attentive staff.

Google
What a great evening.... From when we walked in.. Until we left... We felt at home. Clams casino to start... They were just right. Then salads, nice and fresh. Chicken dish was outstanding. Then a Carmel custard to top it all off.

Heather B.

Google
The food is ok- it isn’t memorable, but it isn’t bad, either. I had Chicken Francese with broccoli, my hubs had Chicken Paisano, our daughter had the special- Shrimp & Scallops in a white wine sauce over pasta. They also shared a tiramisu. The Paisano was the best dish on the table- the rest of it was again, just ok. We met for a family dinner, and it was nice to do so in a corner where we could talk, and the service was excellent, which was the best part of the evening. Our server was wonderful and she had help taking care of our table from other servers as well. As we were visiting from out of state, I know we won’t be able to go again, but hopefully they will look into bringing the food up to par with the dining atmosphere and experience.

Google
My recent visit left me with mixed feelings. The food was okay but not outstanding. The real letdown was the cold tea, and unfortunately, they couldn't warm it due to the lack of a microwave. Overall, a mediocre experience that could use some improvements. I appreciated the well-balanced music. It wasn't too loud or overly energetic, contributing to a pleasant and enjoyable ambiance during my visit.

Tina T.

Google
I went there for an event. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Food and service could have been better. There was no room on tables for the food they brought. The junior waitstaff lacked training. The chicken and green beans were overcooked.

Yelp
Too small bar for how people like to dine in 2024, service was good and food quality was fine also. Price point in relationship to other like restaurants was reasonable

Yelp
My Dearest Nate, Every time I think of you, my heart feels like it's been kissed by the warmth of the sun. There's something magical about the way you light up my world, effortlessly weaving yourself into the very fabric of my days and dreams. You have this way of making the simplest moments feel extraordinary--like the way you look at me with those eyes that hold galaxies, or how your laughter feels like music I never want to stop hearing. You make the world softer, brighter, and infinitely more beautiful just by being in it. There are times I wonder if words will ever do justice to what I feel for you. It's a love that lives in the quiet moments, in the stolen glances, and in the spaces where words fall short but hearts still speak. Being with you feels like finding a home I didn't know I was searching for, a place where I am safe, cherished, and endlessly inspired. You remind me daily of how lucky I am to love and be loved by someone as incredible as you. Nate, you are my safe harbor and my greatest adventure all at once. I promise to cherish you, to stand by you, and to love you with everything I have, every single day. Always and forever, Dommy mommy

Yelp
Enjoyed my fist visit to Amando's in Bethel CT during a post memorial service luncheon. The service for a large group was on point and the venue was pleasant - in spite of strip mall location. Food was tasty although the somewhat less than tender chicken piccata was the differentiator between a 3 and 4 star. Enjoyed the tasty pasta with vodka sauce and fresh and flavorful veggies and the generous serving of calamari. The salad was a bit sparse and plain. All in all a pleasant experience I would go again to try the table service!

Yelp
Of all the area restaurants we choose Armando's as our favorite go to. The food is always fresh, perfectly cooked and delicious. The staff is always pleasant and attentive. We love Armando's!!

Yelp
Great Anniversary dinner at Armondo's Restaurant tonight. Excellent Veal & chicken Marsala over pasta. Yummy desserts, Carmel custard & Italian style cheese cake. For an appetizer we had fried calamari , it was disappointing. We've had it here before and this was definitely a break from their tradition. I am sure it came out of a frozen box- not what I expected based on past orders. Complimentary limoncello to end the meal!

Yelp
Excellent Italian food, great atmosphere. The menu offers a lot of choices - you can't go wrong. Eggplant rollatini and chicken Parm are two of my favorites. They also offer several Italian steak/veal dishes, again - all are outstanding. The wine menu offers a nice variety of reasonably priced bottles. Dessert has some nice Italian choices also. I had an espresso and maybe a sambuca, or two. Service was excellent. I strongly recommend Armando's. I've been there with a table of 8 and had a blast. Note: I'm not claiming to be Bobby Flay, but I've eaten in restaurants all over the world and worked in Manhattan. Some consider me a pain in the butt to eat with. I think my expectations are fair and reasonable. Anyway, you need to scrutinize reviews. I read a 1 star rating from a lady wanting vegan and gluten-free. I don't get why she's going to a great italian -ricotta-mozzarella-parmeson-chicken- steak & pasta restaurant. Another 1 star reviewer was looking for bagels and lox on Easter Sunday at an Italian restaurant! You can't make this stuff up! But those people each gave 1 star - malicious and really despicable to do that. Anyway, this is a very good restaurant - give them a try

Yelp
Family owned and great traditional Italian food. They are always friendly and the portion sizes are great. The chicken parm and lasagna are two of my favorites when I come there.

Yelp
I was blown away by dinner last night. I had veal Parmesan. The veal melted on my mouth. The sauce was perfect. Then for dessert the cheesecake was recommended. It was to die for. Nothing like I've ever had before. I can honestly say, I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
My family has been coming here ever since I was a child and we have yet to be let down. Their chicken française is my favvvvorite! Their waitstaff is always super attentive & the owners are incredibly kind and friendly.

Yelp
I will never go there again. My wife and I went on at least five occasions. We went primarily because we liked a certain dish. Owner does not know how to treat customers and treats you like she is doing you a favor. The food has been horrible lately. The service and attitude beyond bad. Server charged us five dollars for extra sauce which was not even extra and the owner took it in a ho-hum attitude so long, farewell, never again.

Yelp
Armandos is a good place to eat and I have been there many times. I enjoy the food, the service and atmosphere. I will continue to patronize for good Italian food.

Louis M.

Yelp
Worst gnocchi I have ever had. I think it was the bolognese sauce that made it bad. Took most of it home and tried doctoring it with more cheese but ended up throwing it away.

Yelp
Wonderful local Italian restaurant All the standards are great and weekend specials you have to try Great restaurant!!

Yelp
Oh so happy we found our way here last night. I was craving some good Italian food and based on reviews, this seemed to be a solid place. We were happily and quickly seated in the bar on a busy Friday night and our server was over right away taking our wine order. The menu looked fantastic and made it very difficult to decide on an entree. I ultimately went with the chicken Romano and my BF had the shrimp scampi. From the first bite, we raved about how good everything tasted. I swear I couldn't stop saying how it was the best meal Italian meal I've had in a long time. Their marinara sauce on my side of pasta was outstanding and some of the best I've had. For dessert, we split an outstanding cannoli and a lemon ripieno, both were delicious and I highly recommend them. I can't say enough about the friendly and welcome service, everyone made us immediately feel right at home.

Yelp
Armando's is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I have been there many times and have never been disappointed by the food or the service. The staff is courteous and professional. The consistency of the food is excellent. They will go out of their way to make sure the customer is satisfied. They regularly have specials that allow the chefs to break out of the "red sauce restaurant" model, and many that I've tried have been of very good to excellent quality. Their catering services are also very good, and you get an incredible amount of food for the dollar value. As a side note, many times patrons will not say anything if they are unhappy and I feel this is a mistake on their part. To write a review after a lackluster dining experience without giving the staff a chance to right the situation is unfortunate and does not add credibility to the reviewer's opinion. Also, the reviewer that paid $26 for a bowl of pasta could not have been here. The highest priced pasta on the menu is $15.95.

Yelp
Twenty plus years ago when Armando's were in their original location, we had a dinner with friends that was the epitome of bad service and poor food preparation with no apologies from the owners. We vowed never to return. Recently, a friend recommended that we try it again which we did on a Saturday night. I called for a reservation around noon. I politely began with a "Good afternoon" and was greeted with a gruff, "what can I do for you?" What ever happened to, How may I help you? Hmm! Not a good start. My wife and I arrived on time at 5:30PM that night. Our hostess looked up our reservation and announced,"Your table is not ready. It will be a few minutes." Several staff asked why were we waiting. The left hand had no idea what the right hand was doing! We waited for 5 minutes as I peered into the dining room. A party of about 14 diners occupied a long table. The rest of the dining area was about one third occupied with several booths vacant. We were finally seated at a tiny two person table next to the fire exit door. Very chilly! Many vacant booths were available during our time at Armando's. No way to impress new patrons. We ordered house wines which were promptly served. Not so for the dinner and dessert. I'm giving a 3 star based on the quality of the house wine, salad, bread and the chicken parm which my wife ordered. (Pounded, cooked to perfection and topped with a delicious sauce and cheese) I ordered a stuffed shrimp and a side dish of ziti with marinara sauce. Four regular sized shrimp arrived stuffed with a few pieces of crab meat and plenty of bread crumbs. A layer of base rice gave an impression of a large portion. Come on! This would never pass in a Westchester or Manhattan restaurant. Just not worth it. We waited at least 10 minutes for the dessert menu long after our entree dishes had been cleared. On the positive, our waitress was very accommodating especially since she had been assigned many tables. When my wife's entree had arrived, the side of angel hair spaghetti ordered had been substituted with regular pasta. It was immediately corrected within minutes. Based on our experience I would not return. Plenty of more accommodating Italian restaurants in the greater Danbury area with a good selection of menus and reasonable prices.

Yelp
I brought my mother there today for lunch- she had a craving for the veal parmigiana and wanted to try a new restaurant. We will definitely be coming back. She said it's the best she's had anywhere. I ordered the broccoli rabe with sausage- delicious. The wait was more than reasonable and staffing very friendly.
google avatar

SJ S.

Yelp
We had dinner on a Sunday night. The food was average. The Red Sangria was horrible. The calamari could have been cooked more. The seafood linguine and seafood stew was good.

Jack S.

Yelp
Ordered clams casino. Seafood stuffing was like oatmeal. Ordered veal parmigiana. It wasn't teal veal, but a soggy patty you would get in a TV dinner! Said they were cutting back. 70 bucks for nothing

Yelp
Meh overall. Attended an event here recently. Called in advance to confirm they could accommodate gluten free and vegan. They asked if GF pasta with veggies and olive oil would be good. I said yes. When the event came, we asked for my meal and it was brought. Pasta with red sauce. Not what I was told but oh well. I figured it was fine. A few minutes later the waiter brought over...chicken. I balked. He said, "gluten free right?" I responded, "gluten free AND vegan." I asked some questions about the pasta because now I was worried. The waiter practically ran away from me as I inquired into whether any dairy (which I'm allergic to) had been used. I ate...some of the pasta. Most of it fell apart and the sauce was meh at best. Mostly I was worried about whether what I was eating would cause a bad reaction in my body. I didn't exactly trust someone who neither apologized for the mistake nor took any time to reassure me that my meal was safe for me to eat. Also Nibbled on some raw veggies from the buffet. Olives were super dry. Tomatoes were good. Wouldn't recommend even if the mixup with my meal hadn't happened.

Yelp
Recently we has an after funeral service lunch at Armando's; this is the second event that I have attended at this restaurant. I was in charge of planning the lunch and was guided through the process by their great staff. Mae helped me make decision that worked for our family and helped me keep my budget in mind, she was just wonderful. The food was excellent, and everyone was very professional. Everyone remarked how much they enjoyed the meal. I do not live in the immediate area, but when I do visit I will be sure to return. Bottom Line: Great food, Great Service, Great Group Facility

Yelp
Met up with an old friend here. I only had drinks, but she got food and she liked it. The bar area was cozy and quaint. My drinks were large/strong. The bartender was friendly. I'll give it a positive rating based on all that, regardless of my not trying the food.
google avatar

Deane M.

Yelp
Stopped in spur of the moment. Great bartender and friendly bar crowd. The food was outstanding. I recommend the linguini with white clam very traditional great flavor. The other dish was a baked cheese ravioli, also top notch. In the area, it's worth the stop
google avatar

Anastasia E.

Yelp
Let me make this simple. Food isn't great and way overpriced. Just who do they think they are charging $26 for a bowl of pasta that I can throw together for 5 bucks. I won't be returning any time soon. No, make that I won't be returning ever!

Jeffrey B.

Yelp
Great spot for authentic Italian cuisine. Great drink and food selection. Pasta was perfect and white clam sauce was excellent. Great place!

Yelp
Just had a lovely dinner here with my parents. We were looking for a relaxed, classy, delicious meal and we got it. Our waiter Bobby was gracious, efficient and friendly. He made the experience even more special. We started with a a reasonably priced bottle of Pino Grigio and had Fried Calamari as an appetizer. A very generous portion served with both their spicy and regular tomato sauce and wedges of lemon. While maybe a tad overdone, they were light and delicious. We had the house salad with house balsamic dressing, which where lovely mixed greens. There was very nice basket of sliced italian bread and we mopped up our dressing. I had shrimp francese, which was perfect. Mom had sole francese which was delicate as could be. Dad had veal picatta which he really enjoyed. We all had the escarole as the veg, which is such a delightful change of pace. As we were enjoying ourselves, we kept on going and had dessert. We had Caramel Custard and a Cannoli. The cannoli was large and freshly filled. I've only had one better in my life made by a little old lady in the Italian section of Windsor Ontario. Filling it to order is key... I love cannoli and even make my own, so I know a great one when I taste it. We had ordered expresso and it was properly served with a fresh lemon twist. They even set a bottle of Sambuca on the table which Dad enjoyed a smidge in his cup. To end it all they brought out a nice creamy limoncello cordial that we didn't ask for, but capped the meal stupendously. I'd return here happily. My parents have been here before and say the place has always been good. Thanks Armandos!

Yelp
I have to concur with some of the other reviews. We have been to Armando's in the past and found the food good. Nothing special, but good. Ambiance in the dining room is nice. The service was excellent. Recently, we took my wife and family to celebrate her birthday. Not that we wanted tons of food but the portions for each of the meals we ordered were sparse especially given the price of the respective entrees. Sadly to say, I'm uncomfortable going back after this recent experience.

Yelp
Armando's waiter made us feel like unwanted guests My husband and I decided to give Armando's a second try, this being a few years after having a bad meal at their new location. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and very conducive to a couple's night out, or a party. My lunch, the lasagna, was decent. It was a bit dry, but tasted good. What made our experience so poor was the waiter. First, my wine had something floating in it, which he should have seen, but did not. He reluctantly brought me a fresh glass. Having taken our order about 15 minutes before, he stops by the table and asks if we wanted some "bread or anything," and I reminded him that we had already asked for bread. He gave us some lame excuse about being backed up. The room was only about a quarter full; not busy at all. He finally came back with the bread and our food, so we had sat there for almost a half hour with nothing to eat. When he saw that we had finished our meal, he brought the check, never asking if we wanted coffee, dessert, etc. My husband and I left wondering the restaurant wondering: Were there any lunch specials? We were not alerted to any if there were. Do they really only have 3 red house wines, or was it too much bother to offer us a wine list and/or advise us of all the wines available? Do they not offer dessert to their guests, or again, was it too much bother to ask if we wanted anything? I don't like being treated like an unwanted guest, and we left a tip that we hope got the message across. At this point I can't be bothered to go back.

Yelp
After living in this area for over 20 years I just stumbled across this wonderful family Italian restaurant. The food is delicious, especially the pizza and the veal parm. There are so many wonderful looking dishes on the menu and knowing that it is all freshly made by the owner makes me confident that they will be as good as the ones I tried. I will definitely be returning not only for the food but for the personable and friendly service. Even the other customers seemed to feel like they were a part of the family. Truly a local gem!!

Yelp
Stopped on my way to Massachusetts for a business. Food was very good and staff was super friendly. I highly recommend eating here.

Yelp
I've been here a few times and have had a consistently good experience. The most recent, my boyfriend and I came for dinner on a Monday night. Our server was Jaime and he was very nice and attentive. We had calamari, salads, a linguine with whole clams fra diavolo and linguine bolognese. Fresh garlic and and a huge amount of clams. I loved it. Also loved my espresso martini. Prices are fine and service and food continue to be great. Can't wait to to come back.

Myoung P.

Yelp
We used to stop by quick lunch periodically. However, for last visit, we were very appalled seeing padded tap. We asked to the busing boy bring the menu. We detected that every item was billed more than the price on the menu anywhere from $1-$3. Waiter had very weird excuse and reluctantly corrected. Still, he correct only two and gave us cash for the rest. It is not the first experience that restaurant pad the bill or submit padded amount to credit card. However, once is more than enough to drop this place forever!

Yelp
I've never had a bad meal here! It has quickly become my family's go to place for parties and special occasions as well. My sisters recently hosted my bridal shower in their party room and it went flawlessly. Guests raved about how good the food was and the servers assigned to our room were extremely attentive. The owner goes above and beyond to made sure you are happy. Highly, highly recommend.

Yelp
Fiancé and I dined here on a weeknight. We enjoyed excellent, attentive service, comfortable outdoor seating, and the bill didn't break the bank. We ordered a shared appetizer, two entrees, and a shared dessert. The food was good. Nothing that disappointed, nothing that was spectacular either. Classic Italian-American fare. I would go back, but I wouldn't tell a friend that they have to try Armando's.

Gordon T.

Yelp
Good Food - Small Tip. The food was fine. We were seated and given menus. The waiter stopped by and asked for a drink order. We were not given drink menus. We asked about red wines by the glass. They had three, Merlot, Cab Sauvignon and Chianti. Being an Italian restaurant we thought that they could have a few more to choose from. Our order was taken. We requested bread. The waiter forgot and he ultimately asked up again when he brought out the meals. When we were done, he wrapped the leftover entrees but didn't ask if we wanted the leftover bread. He brought the wrapped leftovers and the check, but never offered dessert. The bill came without a tray. We got up to pay and he came by to ask for the payment. He needs a lot of training.

Danielle T.

Yelp
By far the best pasta e fagioli! Great service, food, drinks, atmosphere. Highly recommend for upscale Italian. The owners come around and greet you. Great experience.
google avatar

Stacy K.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place. The food sucks and if you want to have your chicken dish made with out flour they charge you an extra $2.00 per meal. In my opinion if your food was made fresh to order why are you charging me an extra $2.00 per meal to not add flour. By the way we just spent $150.00 in your restaurant and that will be the last dollar of mine you will ever see. Good luck staying in business.

Myoung P.

Yelp
We liked this place when we first visited in Nov. 2017. We liked food and service. This was third time. However, this time, we were very disturbed when we received the check. My husband noticed that his dish is charged more than the price on the menu. We also noticed that dessert is overcharged by 28%. We requested for the menu to validate. Then, we detected that my dish was also overcharged. Month ago, we dined at a AA eatery in San Diego. When we received the credit card statement, I found I was charged more than the receipt I signed. When we called, the manager at the restaurant was very apologetic and sent a check for the double of the overcharged amount. It also happened two years ago in New York City that restaurant charged my credit card more than receipt. I'll now cross check anywhere we dine. I wonder it is a pattern of sneaky business. Fellow diners watch out unless you have money to burn.

Yelp
This is a very nice restaurant. By that I mean, the decor, the cleanliness, the parking, the wait-staff and the food are all very good. All meals are very tasteful and delivered hot which is showing us that the owner cares about your food being presented just as he/she would want it at home. The cook knows how to season each dish to perfection and assures a pleasant visual experience. The "signature" lemoncello after dinner "on the house" is a great added benefit of this restaurant. Only negative ... as long as they do not raise the prices on food and wine, it will be a continued place to visit. I think they are right now at the upper limit but the food is very good.

Yelp
I came for a private party, served buffet style. For a private party, I thought the space was nice, a little disappointed though that the waitstaff kept forgetting about my table in particular. It wasn't until I had my plate of food that I finally got a drink. For the buffet, we had sausage and peppers, salad, penne alla vodka, eggplant parm, broccoli and roasted chicken. Penne alla vodka was a big hit, and I could have probably consumed the whole tray of broccoli.

Rusty T.

Yelp
I LOVE Armando's! I have no idea what these people are complaining about. The restaurant looks beautiful. I also enjoy the bar area before being seated. When we go out to eat at a nice place, we want it to last for a bit. We have a seat at the bar, have one or two drinks each then take our seat. Never in a rush, we like to enjoy the evening. If you're in a hurry, go to Burger King. Also, I didn't notice any $26 pasta dishes. Maybe the other review is talking about the pasta dish that has tons of seafood on it?? The menu is online, just look it up so you don't have to cry about prices afterward. The family that owns Armando's has been nothing but friendly every time I visit. They greet me with a warm smile, and always ask how my meal was. Wine and drink suggestions are always spot on, and sometimes I even get a complimentary shot of their lemoncello. I dare anyone in the world to find a better fired zucchini than what they serve here. It is impossible! I am addicted to the Veal Parm. I always want to try something else... but I can't. My wife always gets the Zuppa di Pesce and never finishes it. I could eat the red sauce with a straw! I buy some to go whenever I am in town. Fried Zucchini, veal parm, Zuppa di Pesce, wine, lemoncello... Forget about it!

Ellen H.

Yelp
I always enjoyed Armando's, Been there may times and had a wonderful meals. Made reservations in advance for BRUNCH on Easter. Had a craving for eggs Benedict and bagels with lox. and was really looking forward to it. So BRUNCH turned out to be a BUFFET. I guess they both start with B. No eggs Benedict, Only breakfast was over cooked scrambled eggs Ran out and my sister had to wait 20 minutes for the to refill. Was so bad, she didn't even eat it. Soggy limp bacon, sausage and lousy wonder bread bagels with a plastic container of Philadelphia cream cheese. No toaster, lox, onions, capers,... Took one bite of the bagel and left the rest. All you can drink Mimosas and bloody mary's. Mimosas looked and tasted like Sunny D with a splash of Andre champagne. Seriously, that orange color was not something which occurs naturally in nature. Bloody's looked pretty, but too much spice and horse radish to cover the fact there was no vodka in them. And the all you can drink was useless when you were never once offered a refill. No one in my party was offered coffee either. Had to ask for a first and never got offered refills. For $34 a person I would have expected a roast beef and lamb carving station. No. An omelet station. No. J ust chafing dishes.. Rollatini which was very good. Penne ala Vodka which was also good. Roasted potatoes with no seasoning. Over cooked ham. Some kind of lamb stew which was over cooked. But they did have a bowl of mint jelly available. Mint jelly with a brown lamb sauce?????? GROSS No lox for my Wonder bread supermarket bagel with plastic cream cheese, but had some kind of stuffed salmon roll. Smelled and tasted like my dirty goldfish tank. URGH I was so disappointed as was everyone in our party.. $34 a person???? This was our 5th year spending Easter at Armando's. But never again. I hate leaving a bad review, But I am sure the owners would want to know our experience.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I eat here regularly - and as an Italian, he's a "macaroni" (general name for pasta) fan. I LOVE their lasagna. He gets a lot of different things - a big fan of their chicken parm. Their servers are attentive and the support staff is very on top of things. It's a family owned restaurant - dad is the chef, mom (May) is the hostess (and a classy, gracious lady), one son bartends, one son is a server. They were in a smaller place several years ago and expanded to their current location, almost always full. Make reservations on weekends; we go last minute decision and May good-naturedly teases us for not doing it, but we don't mind waiting in the bar. Heads up: there are one or two waiters so efficient you might need to slow them down. So if you want to sit a bit and drink your wine, make sure you communicate that. This tends to happen more often when it's busy.

Yelp
This has been my favorite Italian food restaurant since I was a kid. The Roma's do a great job from the service, to the food, to the ambiance. Prices are fair for the quality of food you are getting.

Yelp
Food was not very good. I wouldn't recommend if you know what Italian food is supposed to taste like. Service was nice though.. the restaurants were outdated..

Yelp
Armando's is one of my favorite local restaurants. The food is consistently delicious. The veal chop with vinegar peppers always makes me happy. The staff always makes us feel welcomed. The dining room is comfortable and attractive. The prices are reasonable too.

Yelp
The waiter we had was really friendly and the restaurant is nice. It is a quiet place and fancy. The food is good and they are willing to make you something off the menu. I love the fried mozzerella they serve.

Yelp
Great food and service ! Consistently high quality food. The Roma family make you feel like family . The catering services are also second to none.

Yelp
We went to Armando's newly-built restaurant, a bit further east on Rt. 6. The decor was attractive and muted. The dining room has acoustic tile and carpeting, so was quieter than many. Waiting in the vestibule was uncomfortable, but we're not bar people. The food was good, not great, and the portions quite generous. For the quality and level of service (teenaged waitstaff), it is overpriced. Will I return? No, there are plenty of other good or better red-sauce Italian joints out there.
