"This restaurant is in an original location on the first floor of the Armani store in St-Germain-des-Prés (not far from the church). The interior is pure and elegant, in the designer's style, of course: a palette of beiges, banquette seating, glossy walls, subdued lighting… Might this be just another shopfront in all but name? On the contrary, thisristoranteis one of the best Italian eateries in Paris. Chef Massimo Tringali, former sous-chef at Casadelmar in Porto-Vecchio, works with high-quality ingredients in the spirit of contemporary Italian cuisine. It is fresh, tasty and skilfully done: a fine piece of work." - Michelin Inspector

Great service, very attentive and efficient. The venue was elegant and simple at the same time. Cozy seating. The surprise course menu was good, very nice presentations but some dishes were better than others. Wine selection by the glass was good as well. Decent prices. Overall, a good option for an upscale Italian dinner.

5+S ***** Why this place has only one Michelin Star, I can only imagine it's because it is fairly and the Michelin crew prioritizes sunk cost falicy over genuinely great food. The slighting aside, this place is a must if you have the budget. They not only offer table side Olive Oil, which is a delicious addition to most all their dishes, but great God in heaven, they offer table side flaky Salt! I can hardly describe how fantastically delicious it was to have the option to experiment and with different topping amounts on their dishes. Eating should be a dance, and getting to freestyle every now and then is essential to an exceptional party. Each dish was expertly done on all categories of wow factor, and I could help grooving in my chair from each new bite. They do nickel and dime you a little bit with offering water and after dinner treats that added an extra 20 dollars, which would have been nice if that was made know before hand, but an excellent show regardless. Bravo!

How this restaurant has only one Michelin star I don’t know… Fantastic food in an elegant and inviting interior. The dining experience is quite intimate, with only a few groups in the restaurant at a time which made for a very calm and pleasant dinner. Very chic décor and lighting, in typical Armani style. Would definitely visit again.

i had an extremely disappointing experience. The food was terrible — the risotto, in particular, was overcooked and completely ruined. When I raised the issue with the General Manager, I was told, “Sometimes it comes out like this, sometimes like that. You Italians are just used to eating it too al dente.” Excuse me? Isn’t this supposed to be an Italian restaurant? That response was not only unprofessional, it was downright insulting. Passing off poor execution as a matter of “cultural taste” is disgraceful. If you can’t even cook a basic risotto properly, perhaps don’t pretend to serve Italian food. Shameful.

#51 Follow my Michelin Marathon in Paris An Italian Star in Paris The great thing here is that it’s Italian! No kidding. One of the very few Italian with a star in Paris. Le Georges is also an Italian chef, marketed as an Italian, but this one is more Italian to me. So if you want to eat pasta with the excuse it’s Pasta but in an Etoile, you know where to go! I insist, it’s not the only Italian restaurant in Paris, but it’s one of the very few with a star. The other particular thing is that you’re in the Armani store! At the first floor to be precise (not to be confused with the brasserie next door downstairs), where there are only a few tables. We went twice. Once before the star, once after. I kind of guessed it could get one, but to be honest, i also thought that the high end Italian category is not an easy category to compete in. So I was happy from them because It was deserved. We actually went for Christmas there. My experience: I loved the experience, we spent a great time in each occasion. If I’m in a mood for an Italian this would be my go to place. Mood and dress code: you’re in an Armani store, I guess I don’t have to give guidance for this one! Update 2022: went back after more than a year. I found it more refined and more balanced. Of course you’ll have strong flavors but I think I appreciated more this time. So it’s a solid Italian one star. But not the only Italian in town anymore

The staff is very professional and kind. They are exceptionally trained and made us feel at home. Not a single detail escaped their attention. The food was delicious and the wine pairing was superb.

The worst experience in a restaurant. The taste was so bad , it tasted like the ocean with the sand as an extra edition. The hot plates with the served food was not mentioned for our safety my friend almost burnt his hand. The pasta was really really bad that the seafood in it was not cooked and again you can taste the ocean. And the starter with the caramelized onion, where to start, I would be a shamed with this dish, it was so unnecessary. we asked the waiter to order the set menu but she refused because the set menu closes at 10 and when we started ordering it it was 10:00:30. As I said earlier this is the worst restaurant.

Yelp
Really enjoyed ourselves at this restaurant, and it was my friend's first Michelin starred restaurant! We got the asparagus appetizer (to share) and unfortunately the menu didn't describe it as fried. I have a severe allergy wherein I can't eat food fried in the same oil as my allergin - if the menu had adequately described this dish, we wouldn't have know i couldn't safely eat it and ordered something else. Regardless, my friend said the dish was delicious, and I got the vegetable appetizer. It was very good, however I felt the strawberries took away from the dish as they were so bright they stood out from the other flavors as opposed to complimenting them. We both got the the Housemade pasta and yummy! I have never had morels before, they were delicious. For dessert we got the strawberry shortbread dish and it was so good.

Yelp
Food sucks straight up. Horrible portions I left hungry. The eggplant parm was so dry I felt like I was in the Sahara desert once it got down my throat. The ravioli wasn't bad but I only recieved 2 pieces. Overall extremely expensive and the quality of the food did not remotely meet what I expected. I'd rather go to basically any other restaurant in the city of Paris.

Yelp
The food needed salt, when we arrived did not felt welcomed nacías the host told us they our reservations were later (we did called and changed). The wine came almost at the end of dinner. The ambience is not bad but nothing great either. The presentation of the plates was good. The pasta was undercooked Unfortunately we were disappointed

Yelp
This was the worst Michelin meal I have ever had. We began by getting olives that tasted rotten. Our server who poured us wine was sick and repeatedly coughed into her hands, didn't wash her hands, and then poured us wine. The food was genuinely terrible. The wine pairings were cheap and big pours but every single glass of wine was terrible quality each more flavorless than the next. We spent 500 euros for 5 courses of inedible food, and 5 large cups of some of the most cheap terrible wine we have ever had. We were the first table of the night seated and the entire night only two other tables sat down, both of which were other tourists... AVOID AT ALL COSTS THIS IS A TOURIST TRAP. You are better off eating the street food from the homeless people cooking out of shopping carts on the streets.
