First time going a few weeks ago, it was a busy morning but I will try to go again when it’s a little less busy. Food was good, the pancakes are huge (not a bad thing) I really enjoyed my iced chai latte. Servers were attentive and seemed happy. Overall a good experience and will go back at a later time when less busy.

Alot of the reviews talk about the gravy here being the best they’ve ever had..gotta say they are absolutely right! Their gravy had alot of flavor from sautéed onions & i really loved it. Was very impressed! The service was great, building was nice & price was fair. If you’re right in the head, you’ll eat here!

This place was such a great find! The food was absolutely delicious—the corned beef hash was spot on, and the biscuits with gravy were amazing. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere made it the perfect spot for breakfast. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

Love love love Arnie’s is a cozy, welcoming spot perfect for a relaxed breakfast. The atmosphere feels homey and comfortable, with friendly service that makes you feel right at home. Stopped at Arnie's Cafe fire the first time. We had a very short (five minutes) wait before getting seated. The restaurant was very clean. Our server (Lexie) was very attentive. My wife ordered a bacon maple bar and a side of fries. She devoured them all. I ordered the country fried steak with hash browns, a couple eggs (over medium) and toast. If we return, i will not order the chicken fried steak. Too salty and the steak was not tenderized at all. Hash browns and eggs were excellent. Overall a good experience.

Stopped in on the way to Fort Stevens. What a surprise! This was the best diner-style food I've had in a long time. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The biscuits were delicious and made fresh in-house. Even the coffee was great! I look forward to coming back the next time I'm in town.

Such a cute place! First, we showed up 30 minutes before they closed not knowing. We felt bad when we realized. But nope, super happy to help and didn't rush us at all. It's a nice Cafe vibe too. All of our portions were huge. And everything was just great.

We stopped in before traveling back to Beaverton. Around 1pm. The lunch crowd was dying down by the time we got seated. Our waitress was very kind. She had a lot on her plate so it took a bit to get our order in. Had some delicious coffee while we waited. The food did not disappoint. Large portions and fantastic taste. We left full. Super popular breakfast spot in downtown Warrenton. It's spic and span clean and bright and accommodating, and the staff is dialed. The place works like a well-oiled machine, turning over rushhour tables fast, taking orders fast, keeping your coffee cup filled, and getting food out fast. This is standard American breakfast fare. Eggs and hashbrowns. Chicken fried steak. House-made corned beef hash. Pancakes and waffles. Eggs Benedict. A signature series of biscuits and sausage gravy. All well-prepared. All of that said (I'm speaking of the weekends when I tend to go out for breakfast), the place is packed and waits can be really long. That's why I gave 4 rather than 5 stars. In this regard, I suppose they're a victim of their own success. Last time I was there (a Sunday) there were 10 parties ahead of us, and a 45 minute wait. While that might not seem unusual in Portland during Sunday brunch, it's a long wait for the North Coast. The food is good, but it's not something particularly exceptional that I'd want to stand in line for. There are breakfast places nearby (I live in Astoria) without a wait that have food every bit as good. That being the case, it's hard to justify waiting so long for a table.

Always an excellent stop. Usually we do breakfast, but this go around I tried lunch since we were nearly there at noon. The Riley sandwich was very good, and although covered in jalapeños, it wasn't screaming hot. Just great flavor with a pinch of heat. I opted for onion rings as a side and they were very good as well. The place is always clean and the staff are super friendly and welcoming.

They even have good quality Gluten Free buns! We moved to Warrenton last Fall and have been trying local restaurants up and down the coast. Our favorite from day one has been Arnie's Cafe. Only open until 3pm Thursday through Monday, we love both the breakfast and lunch menu. Their perfectly cooked juicy burgers are prepared to your desired doneness and their extra crispy fries are our idea of crispy heaven. The omelets also are outstanding; filled with fresh vegetables and tasty meats. We keep wanting to try other options but can't resist the burgers! The wait staff is friendly, efficient and cheerfully make substitutions, adding to the outstanding customer service.

First visit last weekend for breakfast to-go. The restaurant is small and cute, with ample parking between the lot and street. Although pretty busy with the weekend breakfast crowd, service was friendly and the order ready fairly fast. We had a couple of egg plates and everything was tasty. I would say that although my hash browns were cooked well and nicely crunchy, I ended up stealing my hubby's breakfast potatoes (so good...yum). The sourdough with mine wasn't my fav, so I stole his English muffin too. :) Regardless of the breakfast thievery, it was a good meal. We would definitely stop by again.

I didn't realize it had been 7 years since I last reviewed my favorite breakfast spot on the North coast! I am bumping up a star since it is the greatest breakfast anywhere! I never look at a menu as I always order bacon and eggs over medium, hash browns, add onions and no toast with black coffee. Pretty boring but Arnies does it best! The three strips of thick and chewy bacon, oh my! It used to be a four strip portion but you know how that is and I won't go into it. Service is always attentive with a bottomless cup and the new location is much cozier as a cafe then when it was a NAPA Auto Parts store! Its hard to believe the transformation to this well decorated cozy space but, it was pulled off well! Always busy and there is counter seating when they are out of tables and save room for a fresh heated cinnamon roll that is as big as your head! (almost) BTW, did I mention the fantastic bacon? Go to Arnies, eat bacon. The best ever! Enjoy your meal and your company.

Wonderful surprise when driving the Oregon coast. Had a fabulous breakfast and the staff were so warm and welcoming.

Found this gem of a place for brunch while in Warrenton. Unassuming restaurant but wow, the food! We came here just before lunch on a Sunday and although there was no wait, inside was full. We had the corn beef hash and eggs plate. No out of can corn beef on this place - it was real deal, soft and seasoned. It went well with the fluffy scramble eggs (you had a choice of how you wanted them). Also had the eggs Benedict florentine served on 2 English muffin with tomato and spinach. The eggs were perfectly runny. Not swimming in hollandaise sauce-just enough to cover each one. If you like your hollandaise sauce, you may find it lacking. Both plates came with a choice of toast, fruit, hash browns. I chose the fruit- blueberries, pineapple, melon, strawberries and a slice of orange. Nice and sweet. Son got the chicken fried steak. He's a big fan of chicken fried steak and gets it everywhere he goes. He pronounced it to ge one of the best. He said the meat was soft and the gravy light and not too salty. The 4 year old had the kids waffle plate with a slice of crispy thick bacon, a egg and 1/2 a waffle. Actually it would be perfect for those with a lighter appetite. There's a whole section for that. The menu also had wraps, burgers, omelettes, fish and chips. Something for whatever you felt like eating. The staff was very nice and checked on us from time to time. Prices were reasonable for what we had. Left full and satisfied- definitely coming back!

Great food!! Great service!! Will come here the next time we are in town. Tucked away in a residential part of town. Very clean and friendly staff.

Still a 5 star review. Truly love this place! This time my friend had the Veggie Scramble and I had Club House with Onion Rings. And once again, no pictures cause we were so hungry I forgot! Needless to say, the portions are substantial and tasty. Go to Arnie's. Just do it.

Great food and staff. Been here a few times and have enjoyed it every visit. Selection is large (but not too large) so easy to find something for everybody and of the several things that we have tried i can say they were all excellent. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait and parking lot fills up quickly during busy times but it is worth driving out of Astoria or Seaside to eat at this breakfast and lunch spot.

Well, the economy has caught up to my favorite spot. I'm disappointed today to see the same menu with only 2/3 of the food on the plate. Traditional breakfast with bacon. 2 vs 3 slice of bacon. Small in length and hashbrowns that would equal a half of a small potato. SAD....will now look to discover a new spot that will give a good breakfast for the price. Thx for reply, I had not approached server this morning as you had a sports team in house taking up most of the restaurant and servers time.

Amazing place, breakfast was spot on for all 6 of us. Portions are very good and the price was great as well. We all strongly recommend this gem!! The best biscuits and gravy we have had in a long time, those with the eggs benny were also in sauce heaven.

The place was busy but we were lucky enough to get seated right away. The staff were all very friendly. The menu is HUGE, it was hard to decide. The CFS Burrito was good, ask for gravy on the side. The coffee is also really good, I got an iced latte to go on my way out.

FABULOUS breakfast. Proper omelette made me so happy. I rarely order them because they're usually just overcooked frittatas folded over. Someone back there has taken the time to make sure food is made right. FOH were friendly and had great personalities and were very warm and welcoming. And the most important part. GREAT COFFEE. strong but smooth. Don't know when I'll be back (unless y'all want to expand into California), but I will be back.

My wife and I love this place. The food is really good every time we go. The servers are very attentive to what you need from refills to or condiments. This place has a homelike feel to it.

Absolutely great staff & food! Mid-size space, but obvious local watering hole. Food was also great. Beware of the display case that meets you as soon as you walk in the door. It contains the best looking maple bars I've ever seen. Didn't have 1 at this visit but my friend, that lives in Astoria, will be visiting me inland next week. I've already decided I'm going to request 1, or so, for him to bring with when he gets here. Definitely will visit on my next trip to the area

Food is super yummy if they let you order!!!! So Saturday we placed an order online using Toast takeout but Toast emailed me saying the restaurant had not accepted our order to call them. When we called they stated they didn't know how to cancel the order so they would put it thru. Today when we tried to order in person they servers had to go ask the kitchen if they would take to go orders they were cleaning tables and seating people. 25 minutes later they told my husband no we're not taking to go orders!! The breakfast was so good yesterday and places around here are very limited he waited. Long story short the ordering system is very inconsistent and even if you go in person you may not even get to order! We have 3 dogs at our campsite and unable to leave them alone that's why we opt to get takeout vs dine in. If you do eat here the eggs Benedict are very good. The hollandaise sauce is pretty tasty. The hash browns are crunchy and compliment the eggs Benedict perfectly. The sausage gravy for the chicken fried steak was okay the steak was cube steak and just average. Go for the eggs Benedict it's definitely a winner.

The breakfast was great, service was speedy, and the vibe was really quaint, especially on a rainy day. Their menu is packed with breakfast and lunch options; something on there for just about anyone. Would recommend as it's a great place to take a small group with varied tastes. This is also one of the very few places I've found since I moved here that has good looking donuts! I'll be back.

We found this place on our way to Seaside for Saturday breakfast. We got there around 0900 and it was pretty busy. There was a line for tables but it seemed to move quickly. We got seated within 20 mins and our order was taken. Menu is plentiful - both breakfast & lunch options (which they served both). Pepsi products. Order took a bit to get to us and it was warm; however, it's understandable with the crowd. Detail was given to my eggs Benedict because the egg broke before it was served. Food was flavorful and filling. We may be back to try lunch & would recommend that you do as well.

This place was so great small and homemade food. Very local and really comfortable and inviting. Everything we tried was amazing. I highly recommend this business to anyone!

I hate to update in this way....lowering the star count. But...I don't think I can honestly not update. Let me start w Annie's has been our favorite place for years. We have introduced many friends to it. We have driven an hour to have a cinnamon roll. That being said...so many great things about the place have changed. Food is solid usually. Cinnamon rolls are yummy. But subtle menu changes, and a $1500 espresso machine...high end coffee but no heavy cream. Our average bill is about 40 bucks...but we now often stay in and cook and make espresso at home. Today, the waitress checked but no cream....so no coffee for us. Heavy cream is 8 bucks a half gallon...if you sell two coffees w it, you make that back. All the others are gravy. Bummer...because we love Annie's. We LOVE the staff. I just hope nothing else diminishes.

Okay, Okay, I REALLY liked this diner. I got seated, figured out what I wanted. The place was pretty modern but felt like a diner. Got my food pretty fast. I ordered a Meat lover Omelet and a pancake. They were HUGE!!! I took a look at it, and was full in a instant. I ate a 1/3 of the pancake, which was surprisingly really delicious, and 1/2 of the omelet, it was so, so good. Tender and the egg was perfectly cooked. If I was to order it again, skip the pancake and devour the omelet. Okay, I get it, is a diner and they give you "trucker sized" portions, BUT, be reasonable. Would go here again in a instant.

Very good diner style food. They say they are not fast food but good food and that was true of the visit. Servers were friendly and attentive. The hash browns, eggs and bacon were cooked well. My coffee cup was nice empty. Overall good place to visit.

I was looking for something local and found this Cafe. They serve breakfast all day which worked great for us. Very friendly service and great breakfast. The price is right. Cute decor and open tables. A must visit.

Good food...service...nice atmosphere and really good coffeelots of variety for breakfast and a few lunch items...I'll return here for a reliably good breakfast.

Everything was amazing the food was fresh and they serve 1/2 orders portions. The service is 2 nd to none they all work together and are always on point. The place is clean and they offer plenty of parking. They have a huge menu with lots of choices. I can't wait to try there lunch.

I really enjoyed this café! the food there was absolutely delicious. I had the Arnie's pancakes with chocolate chips , and it was super good. The pancakes were extra fluffy and perfectly buttered. The whole atmosphere of the café was super homey and the decorations there were incredible.

This local gem is amazing. The food is delicious, the service is amazing, and it was the most affordable meal I have had while visiting the oregon cost. The quality of food and sizes are equally amazing for those prices. So yummy!

Good breakfast place. Very popular. Eggs benedict well prepared hollandaise was good. Food and plate could have been hotter but it was acceptable. We thought the biscuits and gravy was a bit of a salt bomb... Sorry, we've had better. A bit surprised! I think in general the service is very good. Even though super busy, the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Our server was ok, but was hanging out behind the counter and I wanted more coffee but she wasn't keeping an eye on us for quite a while.

Great spot we found while Yelping through the WA/OR coast. We stopped for lunch and had milkshakes (vanilla and chocolate), the warrior burger (my husband said it was the perfect amount of spice), the fish burger (fish was perfectly cooked), and two things off the kids menu (a grilled cheese and chicken strips that were "better than Red Robin's" according to my 5yo). We took no photos of the food cuz we were scarfing down, further confirming the deliciousness of the food. Great vibe, clean restaurant, incredibly friendly staff. Stop by!

The out of town drive is definitely worth it! Astoria is wonderful but this great diner is worth the little extra trip over the bridge! Super nice service and FOOD is generous and delicious. No wonder why all the locals seem to gather here . Great value and great biscuits and gravy .

Stop at Arnie's while camping at Fort Stevens. I think it was the same restaurant that we had breakfast at the last time we camped at Fort Stevens, in 1999. The service by Krista was fantastic!!!! The food was also fantastic!!! Best breakfast on our 3 week, 1400 mile road trip. Pancakes were amazing!! Biscuit, amazing! Marionberry syrup, AMAZING! Gravy was the best!! Thank you for such a good experience.

Best everything. Whatever you're thinking food, service, ambiance, hostesses, lattes, biscuits. This place is the best breakfast you'll ever have. If you're passing through town like I am, you have to make this place a stop!

Last update, I had been craving a chiliburger for a couple of months, so I decided to go to Arnie's to get one, they do have the best chili. As always, the wait staff was 5 star service, and the cooks were incompetent service. I ordered my chiliburger with the fries on the side, so as to not get soggy fries from soaking up chili juice. The first to come out was chiliburger, the cooks failed in their timing. I took my bite and thought something seemed off and it was confirmed when I went to cut into the burger for my second bite and blood oozed out of the burger. So, I pushed it aside and waited for my fries to come out. The fries were good and as I finished the fries the second chiliburger arrived. The waitress assured me that this burger was cooked and that she had cut into the burger to make sure. I thanked her and proceed to finishing my lunch. So, I give the 1 star review because, even though the wait staff are super stars, there is never an excuse for serving a bloody burger. For this reason and the reasons listed in previous reviews I find that for my own safety against food born illness I will not risk eating at Arnie's Cafe again.

First suggestion go here hungry! The food was delicious and left us filled up for most of the day! Busy but didn't have to wait too long to be seated or good. Friendly staff and cute decor!

A MAGA stronghold. If you can get past all the dog doo on the shoes, you will find the food is mediocre, served by pleasant if not clone like young women all of the same age, on party rental furniture in an old autoparts building with warm and fuzzy nic nacs hanging on hospital green walls.

Breakfast is the most important meal to kick off the day right. Lots of positive reviews lead me here. The atmosphere is easy going and definitely not a hipster joint. We had to wait 26-30 min, and the expectation was set when we checked in. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. While waiting, we saw one of the servers wiping down tables with as cleaning solution spray. She dropped the rag on the ground, picked it up and kept wiping. She then went back behind the counter and filled up two water glasses. Apparently there was something on the glass because she used her fingers to wipe it off. At no point did she wash her hands. When the food arrived the portion was huge. The gravy was a little dry, but had great flavor. The biscuits were a tad bit dry, but fluffy. Had to drink water in between bites. Overall it was good, just not great. The waitress also brought some fresh fruit to us that we didn't order, which was very nice of her. I will have to come back and give them another shot.

Read previous reviews and decided to check it out. Definitely worth the stop! Friendly staff and amazing food. Loved the variety and appreciated a "lighter" menu as I don't need too much. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and it was perfect! Hubby ordered the Southwestern Omelette and the veggies were fresh and it was perfectly cooked. They also offer a fancy coffee menu so we had a mocha and cappuccino which were delicious. The cafe itself was clean and bright and festively decorated for Christmas. If you're in the area, I highly recommend if you're in the area!

Arrived shortly before closing after a drizzly morning wandering around Ft Stevens, but that didn't seem to bother the staff. I was on a "no-dairy" diet today. Enjoyed the Spanish Omlette and hubs had Taco salad. Both were very tasty with good portions. Prices are reasonable (for Oregon). Our server Amy took good care of us. Recommended.
