Date night stop. We had not been here for many years and decided to venture down...same great atmosphere and historic vibe! Short rib on the cheesy grits was great!

Google
A cool spot not too far from the heart of downtown Cincy. Easy walking distance from a lot of spots or from the light rail. Enjoyed our visit here. Just a good vibe while eating. Good menu for both food and drinks. Had the Arnold Burger and I thought it was good. Potato salad was very good. Fortunately, we visited when it wasn't too busy. We made reservations just to be safe. Our server was super friendly and very attentive. Will come back again to try out some of the other menu items. For the menu items we had, I would say they are on the pricey side. But no more than other venues in the downtown area. They do have a limited kid's menu. It is not printed but ask your server.

Google
Love this place, oldest bar in Cincinnati. Normally, this would be all “5” but the experience these last few times hasn’t been the usual norm. I do recommend going here because it’s a gem and the history is great. Food is always solid and like many places they don’t have enough servers.

Google
Made a reservation for their anniversary day & the food was amazing as always. Hot day but everything was great!

Google
We didn’t get food but wish we did. Fantastic Guinness Stout pour. I love the change tipping method in the ARNOLDS BATHTUB BREW tap handle. I love to support the staff. Great bar with no TV’s This is a real Cincinnati Tavern.

Google
We had a party of 4. Chicken wings were cooked too fast so they weren't done but we didn't send back but my food was good. The service was good and it's a cute little restaurant. We had drinks and they where good. Great place for drinks

Google
We met for a birthday dinner and when you first walk in it's a little confusing. If you've never been there. It looked very small but then they took us to an outdoor dining area which was great. Nice breeze but not too much. Good atmosphere. Even the other patrons not in our group. Look to be having a good time. We did have cocktails which obviously will increase what you spend.

Google
Food and waiting service was excellent! However, I was not impressed with where the management staff initially wanted to seat us. So I asked to move, and the staff reluctantly moved us to the adjacent table. About 75% of the outdoor/covered tables were vacant and they wanted to seat us at a drafty downward-sloping table next to a gutter spout gushing with water during a healthy rain. There was also a well-used kleen-ex on the floor. The opposite chair had a huge speaker at ear level which is never conducive to family conversations. I'm uncertain the reason of management's choice of table for the four of us, so despite the great food quality, given another option in the future between Arnold's and another Cincinnati dining icon, I might consider the other option.

Yelp
Arnold's is one of those places that earns their stars based on their legacy, I think. And remnants of its legacy make it worth it to go. You should go! The bar has a great feel (the stories that must have been told there!) and the courtyard is very cute, especially with the porch where the band sets up. We ordered drinks -- Arnold's Aperol Spritz and Listermann Lager -- hubs said the beer was very good! The first Spritz was good, absolutely delicious. The 2nd was good, more Aperol and soda, a completely different drink. Must have switched bartenders somewhere along the way. We had the Mexican cauliflower app - the flavors were outstanding, and I'm sure would have been even more fantastic if it hadn't been served cold (we checked with our server - it's supposed to be hot). Our server offered to "make it good" but honestly, we ate the whole thing anyway - I imagine if it had it been hot it would have been heavenly. Hubs had the truffle chicken/risotto that he loved. He loved my Greek Spaghetti deluxe even more -- kept stealing bites! Big portions, enough to carry some home. Overall, the cauliflower experience was a good analogy: the interior and menu offerings could use some love and attention to detail. But you go anyway, because you see what it could be or was in the past. Lean in on your imagination! Or just go later at night for the bar and music. We made reservations on a Saturday night. It doesn't seem like the kind of place where you'd need reservations, but none the less it's popular and therefore not a bad idea if you are going when the nearby pre-theater/show crowd is scrambling for dinner on a short timeline. We parked in a lot a block and a 1/2 away (the lot across from Arnold's caters to the theater crowd and the price was 4x than the one we used).

Yelp
Know before you go, if you are seated along the perimeter of the outside covered area, my husband said it best. "I feel like I'm sitting in the cafeteria back in school." You are inches from the next table and couple. Crammed together and super uncomfortable. No, thanks. I couldn't wait to leave, but I know all kinds of information about the couples on either side of us. Inside seemed cool. Burgers were good.

Yelp
My husband I happened to be driving past Arnold's looking for somewhere to stop for an appetizer and beer. We went in and were immediately greeted wonderfully by Tim and our bartender Josh. The owner, Arnold came over and talked to us as well. We had the frog legs and chicken skins. Both were wonderful! Lumberton, NC was our one night stop on our way from Florida to Virginia. We for sure will be back when we come back this way!!!! Thanks for making us feel so welcome!!!

Yelp
I can't stop thinking about this dish. The truffle brie sauce was the kind you want to lick off the plate. The chicken was juicy and crispy. The wild mushroom risotto was creamy but not too rich. I will be back just to eat this dish again!

Yelp
We went to Arnold's on a Saturday afternoon for Cincy Burger Week. We were seated in the beautiful courtyard area, which I love. The fans kept things cool enough on a hot sunny day. Our server, Becca, was very attentive and even made it a point to check if we liked our beers before the food came. I had the burger special and added fries. Everything was delicious and clearly homemade. I also had a Guinness which was perfectly poured. Arnold's just recently started serving lunch again and as a downtown employee I'll be sure to take advantage of their reasonable prices, homemade food and historic ambiance. I also appreciate the number of vegetarian options for those seeking options. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
Hadn't been here for many years. Food, service, atmosphere were great! We couldn't stay for the band (Cincinnati Dancing Pigs) because they ere booked up during showtime! Will be back again soon!

Yelp
It's an old school bar with some good food. This place is loaded with vintage decor and vibes. We only tried a couple of appetizers, but they were both pretty good. My husband really liked the goetta poutine and the rest of us preferred the meatballs with bread. The service was slow on a Saturday afternoon, but maybe they were short staffed at the time. The drinks were strong and the beer was cold, so it made up for the slow pace.

Yelp
A step into Cincy history always a good time. Service and food very good. Crowded sometimes but in a fun way.

Yelp
It's a dive, but in all the best ways. Food is good, always crowded, and Molly Wellerman tells stories and serves her signature drinks almost one night every week. It's a blast!

Yelp
Built in 1861, this is the oldest bar in Cincinnati. My wife and I love to go to Arnold's when we are downtown because of four Arnolds-only experiences: elevated food + outdoor arboretum seating + live music + cool vibe and styling of an old local pub. We often go here before a Reds Game, FCC soccer game, or before seeing a show at the Arnoff. We always like the food. The menu is always changing, but whatever they create is always a unique take on a dish and very good. On this night I had a harvest salad with Salmon. It had beets, oranges, roasted spiced walnuts, goat cheese and more. It was simply outstanding. My wife had the fried green tomato BLT sandwich which had pimento cheese spread, bacon, and of course fried green tomatoes. Arnolds also offers an array of in-house conceived cocktails, local craft beer and a strong bourbon list. The outdoor arboretum, or courtyard, seating area is special. It is basically a hidden-from-the-street area surrounded by brick walls but completely open on top to the sky, like you would find in an Italian Villa. The ground is not even so your table will probably rock a little and not be level. There were a couple of leveling wedges under mine that let me make it rock solid. It's kind of a euro-cafe vibe in this way. The courtyard also has a full awning to protect during rainy or cold weather and a steam radiant heater for winter, making this one of the best equipped outdoor 365 areas I've experienced. The table spacing is densely packed so more people can enjoy the area. This adds to the vibrance of the experience for me. The hours are more limited as we've come out of Covid, so I recommend looking at their latest before you go. Also with the increased downtown population connected to the new Condo developments, Arnold's can get quite busy so a reservation, although not always required, will ensure you can get your seat when you arrive.

Yelp
TLDR: if you love Cincinnati history this is neat place to check out. Local inspired fare all over the menu and a great place to get a drink. Growing up in Cincinnati I'm a big fan of the cities rich history. So getting to have a meal and drinks in the towns oldest tavern (150 years old!) is pretty cool. They have heaters in the outdoor area and a roof so you can soak in the history even in the colder months. Drinks (not pictured): I had the diebold old fashioned. I like the concept and it's definitely a unique take on an old fashioned. It's supposed to be briefly barreled with an infusion of cherries but the spice from the old overhort rye packed too much of a punch for it to shine through enough for my liking. The earl grey and blood orange ice cube is a nice touch but it doesn't add much to the drink. 8.5/10 Apps: We mostly went heavy on the apps since we found the offerings here more inspiring. The Cincinnati poutine is a must for any fan of local cuisine. It combines grippos seasoning (if you know you know), goetta, and delicious cheese curds on a bed of hot fries. I do wish the grippos seasoning came through a little more and I found a slight lack of cheese curds but the goetta gravy was outstanding for sure. 8.5/10. The Mexican street cauliflower was the biggest surprise to me. It was tangy and creamy while still being light. The cauliflower pieces were quite large for the most part so definitely something you have to cut with a fork and knife rather than finger food. 8.5/10 Mains: We ordered the Arnold burger with a gluten free bun. It's a nice offering but from the start I could tell this bun wasn't it. It was bland and crumbled the minute I picked up the burger. The burger itself was delicious and paired well with the toppings (cheese, pickle, onion, and the house sauce). The house sauce was outstanding but with the gluten free bun we ended up taking off the bun and eating just the sandwich. 6/10 The potato salad was the side and it's worth not skipping. It's night and light. I appreciate it not being overloaded with mayonnaise. It's enough of a portion and worth not skipping. 8/10.

Yelp
Wow- not your typical looking bar in regards to food and seating. Deceptively larger than what one would presume from looking from the storefront. Everyone was extremely friendly. The menu had a lot variety to it. The whole meal was delicious from start to finish to start again ( there was live music so we ordered appetizers at the end ). Found out as well that it is the oldest bar in Cincinnati

Yelp
Really good burgers & sangria. They'll sometimes have live music in the summer on their indoor/outdoor patio inside the restaurant which is nice

Yelp
This was our first time as we are new to Cincinnati. We made a reservation for two, fish fry Friday evening. When we arrived we were seated at a table the size of a postage stamp in between two other two-tops. I'm not exaggerating when I say if I stretched out my arms I could have put them around the people sitting to my right and my left. We asked to sit at an empty three-top (there were three empty tables) near the musicians area. The waitress and another employee were very polite but they refused to reseat us. They said it was because we were a party of two, and those tables were reserved for parties of three. Rather than enduring a miserable experience, paying for food that we would have choked down, in an uncomfortable space wedged between two other tables, we elected to leave. We found another restaurant that actually valued our experience more than their profit margins.

Yelp
Good food, great service. I had dinner here last night with my daughter and we both enjoyed the food, drinks and live music. After ordering cocktails. - Old Forrester & Coke for my daughter, the Diebold Fashioned for me - we ordered the Mexican Street Cauli. It was very good! Quite salty, though. I ordered the Arnold Burger and my daughter ordered the Yo Mama Burger. She up ordered the fries and I went with the potato salad that comes with the burgers. All of it was good! If I could change anything it would to make the burger just a little less cooked so it would've been juicier. Otherwise it tasted pretty good. The service was great. Quick and friendly. There was an awesome musician playing/singing while we sat in the courtyard. Overall - good meal, cool atmosphere, great service, great entertainment. Also, we found street metered parking nearby for much cheaper than the lots.

Yelp
This spot has been on our list for so long and I finally made a reservation. The vibe feels like you're not even in Cincinnati anymore. It feels very old school, and is such a cool spot. We of course ordered the burger, and it did not disappoint. This might just be my favorite burger in Cincinnati. I heard a man at the table next to us say "you can get a burger anywhere" and I have to disagree with him. Finding a truly good burger is so tough. Order the burger here. I promise it's worth it.

Yelp
An amazing place - Arnold's is the oldest bar in Cincinnati and completes the trifecta with amazing food, service, and ambiance. I will definitely be making another trip back next time I'm in town.

Yelp
So old and so good. Cincinnati's first bar Your great grandmother likely had her first drink here.
google avatar

Yelp
Where else do you go on Red's Opening Day other than GABP? Arnold's, course! We came just after the second inning when the game crowd had thinned and there were seats in the courtyard. The food, service and vibe were just perfect!

Yelp
This is a delayed review for Arnolds all-in-one Halloween ghost hunting experience. I booked the tickets for this through EventBrite -- and the people who led the ghost tour were from POV Paranormal. My fiancé and I were so excited to explore a space we'd learned about online ... especially one with as much Queen City history as Arnolds! The event officially started at 9 p.m., but that's a little late for dinner, so we showed up around 8:40 p.m. and were seated right away! You wouldn't know it from the outside, but Arnolds has this courtyard space set us as an outdoor-type dining area. Since it was raining that night, they had the courtyard covered -- but you could hear the rain against the metal roof, which set the tone for a spooky evening. There was a special, three-course menu for all ghost hunters -- soup or salad to start, then my fiancé and I went with the burger and the spaghetti and meatballs as our entrees. Both were appropriately Halloween-themed, and equally delicious! The spaghetti sauce in particular was something we've tried to replicate at home. The final course is a dessert ... and I can't remember exactly what it was, only that it was sinfully chocolate and I definitely finished every last bite. The dinner also included 2 drinks from a set beverage menu -- but guests were not able to purchase any additional drinks after that. I fully understand why they limited the drinking, since we were going to be wandering around in the dark and using specific equipment ... but we were sitting around waiting until the restaurant actually closed, and an extra drink might've kept us feeling occupied. The entire experience was well worth it ... and we'll definitely be back this October, and maybe sooner if we can't figure out the secret behind that pasta sauce. We also love following Chef Kayla on Instagram -- and enjoy catching her competing on Food Network.

Yelp
Stopped in Arnold's after leaving the Duke Energy Center. It is very quaint, and old bar. The staff was not super friendly, but not rude by any means. I had to get the attention of the server because they kept standing around talking amoungst the other staff. The music playing was one of the staff's playlist and was actually very broad range, and included some of my favorites. I ordered the Arnold burger, and it might be one of the top 10 burgers i have ever had.
google avatar

Yelp
This bar which BTW is often referred to a the old bar in the city is a solid dive bar in the great traditions of dive bars. The crowd is a little older than the usual and not so hipster and congenial. Prices good but often limited seating.
google avatar

David K.

Yelp
The decor and courtyard are great, very antique bar looking. Drinks / beer are great. Great service as well. Food is just okay, small portions. Food and appetizers are also overpriced for what you get.

Angie G.

Yelp
Very cool to visit a bar with so much history. We were not sure what to expect. It's smaller than I would have thought but that's part of the ambiance. I had the Greek spaghetti. It was excellent. Husband had the Arnold burger. Wonderful. The server was not so good. It was very difficult to get more drinks and she checked in with us twice. I think a different server would have made this a five star for me.

Yelp
This is definitely an Ohio bucket list item! It is the oldest continuously operating bar in Cincinnati. Street parking is metered and it usually easy to find a space. Guests are greeted with a tub at the entrance so it is hard to miss; also a nod to the bathtub gin made during Prohibition. There is also some patio seating in the front reserved for summer months. The interior is cozy, dim, and the walls are lined with old articles and advertisements. The cocktails are creative with a frequently updated beer menu. However the food was just ok; the entrees weren't for my taste. The burger and the brussels may be the only exception. The side patio area is still open and heated making it a great venue for live music!
google avatar

Yelp
Having no idea what to expect from Cincinnati's oldest bar, I was absolutely blown away by how charming the dining area and in-door/out-door patio are. With holiday lights and music playing, the mood is festive and cozy - even while everyone keeps their distance. I thoroughly enjoyed being there in the early part of the evening, early enough to take advantage of their Saturday Happy Hour (4-6pm). I love a good Old Fashioned and theirs is on point. The Earl Grey ice cube is a great touch, too. The menu is outstanding and surprisingly innovative/creative for a place that has been around since the Civil War. We came in specifically for the Matzo Ramen, in honor of Chanukah, and it was exceptional - hats off to the chef. Speaking of the chef, communication with the head chef and staff ahead of time (to order the special) was super easy and responsive. I'm now a HUGE Arnold's fan and it is definitely going on my must-try list for when I get out-of-town visitors.

Yelp
Had a date night for St. Patrick's Day at Arnolds. Great old bar with great burgers, but tonight we decided to go with the specials created for the holiday. We started with an appetizer of Brussels sprouts which were cooked perfectly. They were delicious with the Harp beer on tap. Next I had the Irish stew with lamb and my wife went with the truffle Brie chicken. Both dishes we well prepared. The chicken lacked flavor, but the risotto and grilled asparagus served with it were both awesome. The stew was very tasty, but could have used more mashed potatoes. The service was awesome. The building is old - that's it charm. Overall a fun night.

Yelp
Food was great. Atmosphere is homey and the staff was simply great. I will be back the next time I am in town!!

Yelp
This is Cincinnati's oldest bar in the city! The vibe of this place is awesome and everywhere you walk will take you back to a place in time. It definitely has a saloon feel, that you can't get anywhere else here! I've been here multiple times and have enjoyed my experience each time. The service has always been pleasant, the drinks are good and the food is tasty. I love how they aren't afraid to throw interesting events such as the Garlic fest! They went all out from creating garlic themed soup to dessert and what's crazy is everything they served was great (if you are a garlic fan). Aside from Garlic fest, I've tried their burgers (Arnold's and Yo Mama), Irish Stew and corned beef. Everything was well seasoned and satisfying as well as decently priced! If you want to eat and drink in a historical Cincinnati place, be sure to stop here! It's definitely unique and a worthwhile place to go. We hope to visit again in the future!
google avatar

Aaron Z.

Yelp
This is classic Cincinnati, we did not eat here but everyone needs to visit here for a drink at least. It's been around a very long time and is a gateway to a fun evening out on the town, with Main street scene just steps away. Friendly, probably 35 yrs and up crowd , lots of beers and full bar. The outdoor patio reminds me of New Orleans , great performance space.
google avatar

Erin E.

Yelp
What a cooooool spot! I can't believe I haven't been here sooner. Came to celebrate my brother in laws bday. Was able to make a reservation and they had table in the covered court yard to enjoy the live band for us! We enjoyed live the live music , great atmosphere, great service and great food. I loved learning all of the history and checking out all of the photos on the way of the oldest bar in cincinnati! Highly recommend! It was crowded- recommend getting a reservation.
google avatar

Jill S.

Yelp
Hamburger and short ribs with grits were both delicious. Drinks were strong. The decor is warm and cozy for a pre-show meal. Great downtown Cincy spot.
google avatar

Alex C.

Yelp
We came to see a friend performing live. The courtyard in the back is medium size, seats a good number of people, and seems to be a consistent music scene given their bookings visible on their website. There is a roof that can be open or closed which is a great idea. The acoustics in the enclosed courtyard with the roof closed wasn't overwhelming and allowed some nice bluegrass to fill the room. I ordered the Sean Evans Hot Ones burger and it didn't have much in the way of vegetables but it was a tasty level of spicy with a steady burn like a Nashville hot chicken. Nothing that would make you ask for milk. The potato salad is apparently made in house and was very smooth and pleasantly more potato than mayo. The food wasn't spectacular but it wasn't bad and I would have to try more of the menu to many any serious conclusions about this place. All in all a great place to drop by and enjoy some good food and music, but it's a pretty busy place probably because it can attract so many regulars.

Earl H.

Yelp
My concern after having a great meal and service at Arnold's is that they include a fee for the kitchen staff, which the salary for kitchen staff is the responsibility of the owner. I alway tip the servers 20% but not my responsibility to tip kitchen staff, the cleaning staff, it is the responsibility of the Restaurant Owner.
google avatar

Amber S.

Yelp
Cool historic business with lots of character and options. A bucketlist item for anyone visiting. Walking in, you get a sense of the age the place, from the radiant heater, to the all wood bar.. everything, to the actual water closest for the restrooms. The menu is perfectly sized with options for everyone. The cocktails are unique and tasty, and the beer menu is constantly changing. So no visit will be exactly the same. With all the positives, the food did not justify the price tag, was not on par with the atmosphere, and was all around disappointing. Our table shared several appetizers including the deviled eggs, fried green tomatoes, and hummus. For dinner, I ordered a burger. The only item of these that I would recommend is the fried green tomatoes. On a positive though, all the cocktails were awesome. If you are really wanting to try this place, I'd recommend it for cocktails.

Edward D.

Yelp
Great spot with delicious food and awesome live music. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu but everything we had first visit was tasty!
google avatar

Andrew S.

Yelp
This is a very cool place-old and historic, I think a must see if you are in the Cincinnati area. It has so much charm and the staff is super friendly--it probably gets a bit touristy since it is popular but it is definitely worth the visit. You do have to pay for parking on the street but there was plenty of availability. My friend and I did not try the food but it did look good and they had an interesting menu. I took a look at the outside atrium area which looked fantastic as well and would be a great place to hear some music and hang out.
google avatar

Becky C.

Yelp
Decided to try a "new to us" place for dinner. The requirements included an outdoor patio. Arnold's has a great outdoor patio! And live music (piano) too! Everyone was very friendly. The appetizer we chose was Mexican Street Cauli - delicious cauliflower fried and served elite style. I could have stopped there! It was delicious! For dinner, my husband ordered a burger with a side of potato salad. He thinks he's a potato salad connoisseur- and pronounced the dish as "just ok" his double patty burger was good. He also had a draft beer that was great. I had the white wine sangria which was great. I ordered the Vegetarian Lobster Roll - (sounded better than it tasted) and the OK potato salad. All in all- cute place, will go back and order different food.

James S.

Yelp
Better than I had expected. Fantastic history and atmosphere. Great drink menu. I had the Cincy Poutine and it was awesome. Service was nice and quick, but super chill. Art by Vhils, Fairey, and others graces the walls. Must visit in Cincy.

Maria W.

Yelp
I don't know what we did to offend, but all I can think is that we didn't have a reservation. We just showed up unannounced to have a St Pattys Day meal and support the band that was there. It looks like a really fun place. An annoyed and unsmiling hostess begrudgingly sat us at a cute little wrought iron table with a view of the band. The drink menu had some fun cocktails but our waitress was not interested in answering any questions. I boldly asked if the brunch menu we were provided was the only food they were serving. I thought maybe at 7pm brunch would be over, my bad. My Mom and daughter started with a soft drink and I just got a water. these were served in 10 oz plastic cups, while all the other tables, even the ones with children, were given actual glassware. Refills we're not offered, not even for the water. It was just weird. But the crowd was fun, the food was good and the music was hopping so we enjoyed that. We won't go back without a reservation that's for sure.

Paul F.

Yelp
Been going to Arnold's since the Jim Tarbell days. Had dinner there recently. Food and service were good, but the ambience wasn't. The place could benefit from a shutdown so they could thoroughly clean, patch cracks in walls, fix windows, etc. It used to feel old and Bohemian, now feels old and grimy.
google avatar

Tammy W.

Yelp
This is the oldest bar in Cinci. Service and was good but nothing spectacular. They were out of a couple of things due to no cauliflower in the house. Although we arrived early for dinner on a Saturday we still couldn't get a choice table. Next time l, we'll make reservations. I had a fried-green tomato blt with potato salad and it was good, but not great. I would go back though for a later dinner and try something else.
google avatar

Yelp
Brought a group of 30 for Happy Hour and had a blast! Service was great, location is fun and inviting and the food was delicious! Thank you Arnold's for celebrating the holidays with our group! We look forward to returning again next year!

Yelp
1861, America changed, something emerged that decided the nation's fate; Arnold's the oldest restaurant in Cincinnati, started serving the fine people of the queen city and the civil war. The food is classic burgers and hearty American fare, but get the burger your first time. The drinks are solid. The Vibe of the place is the cherry on top; hell they put it in the movies and on the tube.

Yelp
Marked with a Shepard Fairey mural you cannot miss Cincinnati's oldest and most unique bar. Second generation owner operator Chris is keeping the legacy going. He has invigorated this classic neighborhood bar and grill with the best beer selection, exciting new menu options and timeless classics. The exposed brick outdoor patio features a back porch stage featuring live music just about every night. From R&B, Blues, to Bluegrass and Cajon you can enjoy a night out that feels like your in the French Quarter! The atmosphere is amazing featuring street art from famous artists like JR alongside vintage signage. You won't find anything like it in the Midwest. As for the food you can order the old school Greek Spaghetti on the menu since 1957. If you're feeling spicy try the Sean Evans Hot One's burger. If you're feeling stupid order it "Insane Style." If you have one night in Cincinnati do yourself a favor and eat at Arnolds, it's an instagram dream come true.

Yelp
Wow. Can't believe a bar wouldn't be open when it says it is, and especially when it has an artist coming in to perform (who was also there and equally surprised by the complete lack of notice). Same goes for all the people outside who'd made reservations for a big party. Major major turnoff.

Yelp
This is such a cool place with a ton of history! The food was phenomenal! Gotta get the fondu for two. The shaved truffle on top is amazing! Overall, one of the best meals I've ever had! The ambiance is awesome. Cool paintings on the wall, stage shows, cool pictures. The service was on point. Such a great, historic but modern place!

Yelp
Ok folks, it's August of 2018, and I'm giving Arnolds a 5 star review for 3 reasons. 1) You're in Cincinnati from out of town and you want to visit somewhere uniquely Cincinnati - It's a "don't miss" 2) You live in Cincinnati and you've been here before and you think you know everything about Arnolds - The menu is new, there are rooms you've never been in, and the rotating taps deliver some options I've never seen on tap in town 3) You're in town, you've never been here, and the low star reviews are scaring you off. Here's the deal, people, I can't explain why other people think that a $17 entree that is big enough for at least two meals is a bad deal when you are sitting in a historic building, with amazing options, good music and a great bar. Just go here and decide for yourself. If you go and hate it, blow up my inbox and let me know why I'm wrong. I dare you. (Unless your complaint is that you can get cheaper pasta at Olive Garden or a cheaper burger at McDonalds. You are right. You win).
