I just ordered from this restaurant for the first time through UberEats and chose the Koong Aob Woon Sen. I was extremely upset to discover bacon/pork in the dish when I opened the container — especially because the menu description did NOT list pork as an ingredient. I do not eat pork, and this is a major quality-assurance and labeling issue. Customers deserve accurate ingredient information so they can make safe and appropriate choices. Because of this experience, I will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

The food here is amazing. I love the Tostada, a great fusion of Thai and Mexican flavors. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the dining experience warm and welcoming. The place itself is beautifully decorated, with a cozy yet stylish vibe that makes you want to stay longer and enjoy the atmosphere. I’d love to come back here again.

I'm so happy I stopped in! I used to live near Little Thailand in Queens, and since moving back to Brooklyn, I hadn't found a spot that lived up to that experience—until now. The food here is incredibly fresh, the atmosphere is cute and trendy, and the service is absolutely top-notch. Everyone who works here is friendly, attentive, and clearly knows their stuff. They checked in often to make sure my drink was full and that I was enjoying everything—which I absolutely was. I ordered the curry puffs, the Pad Mama Seafood, and the mango sticky rice. I meant to snap a photo of the curry puffs, but they looked so good I couldn’t resist diving in right away! The Pad Mama Seafood was cooked and spiced to perfection. The mango sticky rice was deliciously sweet and fresh with the perfect amount of chew. I had planned to take some home for my husband to try, but it was so delicious that I couldn’t leave a single bite behind. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you all for helping make Bay Ridge such a fantastic destination for foodies! Update: I came back with my husband. He's now obsessed too. 😅

This restaurant is a must-try! Every single dish we ordered was packed with flavor and perfectly executed. The Khao Soi was rich and authentic, and the Duck Udon Kee Mao was a fantastic noodle dish. The Thai Basil Tostada was a delicious surprise. Can't wait to come back!

Their lunch menu is available every day of the week. We got two lunch entrees, it’s just a regular entree but with salad in sesame sauce and 1 vegetarian spring roll. Pad See Ew, green curry, and the special tumyum soup were so good!!

Absolutely delicious food and amazing staff. The atmosphere was very comfortable and a very attentive staff. The flavors of the pad Thai reminded me of when I was in Thailand. We ordered Pad Thai, Basil Fried Rice, Chicken Satay and friend banana for dessert. We will definitely be coming back! I’m happy to have a fresh and authentic local Thai place to enjoy!

Arom Dee Thai serves outstanding food and friendly service - a great addition to Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. We started with their signature Thai Tostadas & Yum Zap Fried Chicken Salad which are a must try! The Fried Shrimp Cakes are super addictive and the flavorful Curries hit the spot. Already looking forward to our next visit!

We were so hungry I forgot to take pictures… the food was delicious, we had coconut soup, a roll and puffs for appetizers and then pad Thai and a special. The service is excellent as well and very cute inside.

price - $70 including tax and tip food - 5/5 service - 5/5 ambiance - 5/5 the yummiest thai food in bay ridge!!! i got the pad kee mao which is on the spicy side and it was really good, probably my fav tbh! i also got the pad se ew which isnt spicy at all but it was very flavorful! the thai tea was great because i got to adjust the sweetness level which was pretty surprising since most thai teas are standard. the thai coffe was def on the sweeter side but i can still taste the bitterness of the coffee. the service was AMAZING! the servers kept checking up on us which was really nice. ambiance was pretty chill especially for the area that this restaurant is located at. i highly recommend checking this place out!

I love this new Thai restaurant because in addition to the traditional favorites like pad see ew, there is another side to the menu full of new dishes to discover. Also great friendly service.

I usually don't mind when a restaurant isn't run by people from the country of the cuisine, but this one really misses the mark. The staff were friendly and mostly spoke Mandarin -- no issue there -- but the food just wasn't Thai. The flavors were off and lacked the depth you'd expect from real Thai cooking. The biggest disappointment was the Tom Yum soup -- it tasted more like canned tomato soup with a hint of something vaguely Thai. For the price, I expected way better. If you're craving actual Thai food, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

This is the second visit in a few months. It's great to see consistency in service, food and value. I recommended coming here for a late lunch/early dinner post Bay Ridge Third Avenue festival. My friends live in different parts of Brooklyn and were visiting my neighborhood. We ordered the following: -Appetizer: Chicken satay with peanut sauce and cucumber dressing. Out of this world. The chicken was tender, the peanut sauce scrumptious -Entrees: Pad Kee Mao(Drunken noodle with shrimp), mildly spicy, nice portion of shrimps, peppers, basil and noodles. My go to dish! -Pad se ew with chicken, broad noodles, Kana, Egg, Sweet soy sauce -Pad Thai with shrimp: Tamarind sauce, egg bean sprouts scallion, peanuts. Delicious! -Beverage: Thai iced tea, refreshing on a hot day Lunch specials during the week Arom Dee Thai is now my go to for Thai in Bay Ridge!

I wanted to share my wonderful lunch experience yesterday at Arom Dee Thai. We started with the curry puffs, which were perfectly filled with potato, chicken, and curry, making for a delicious appetizer. For our mains, we enjoyed the chicken pad see ew and the drunken noodles with shrimp. Both dishes were perfectly executed and wonderfully flavorful. When I mentioned that my pad see ew was a bit dry, the waiter promptly brought out some sweet Thai chili sauce. It added the perfect amount of heat, sweetness, and moistness to the dish, enhancing the flavor considerably. The service throughout our meal was impeccable and attentive without being intrusive, which made our dining experience truly enjoyable and memorable. Next time I am going to save room for dessert so I can partake in my favorite Thai dessert- the mango sticky rice! Would definitely visit again.

Take-out review: Happy a top notch Thai restaurant is back in Bay Ridge as I was sad when Bay Thai shut down. The staff were very accommodating when I needed to change my order from pick up to delivery, and they still delivered on time. I loved all the food I ordered as everything were flavorful! Highly recommended their: - Curry puffs - Chive cakes - Pad se ew - Crab fried rice - Pork belly - Pad Thai Note: Their green curry is the real deal - it was too spicy for me to handle. I can't wait to dine in to try some of their chef specials. They are definitely worth the local hype!

Tried this new spot in my hood, Arom Dee Thai on Senator and Third... This has replaced MyThai (RIP) and I'm not mad! Although this place doesn't serve liquor, I don't think it's a big deal since the food more than makes up for the lack of liquor. I've been on the hunt for foo good Pad Thai and think I've found it. Like I implied, MyThai was my jam! I kept it simple like I always do : I ordered Shrimp Rolls w/plum sauce and Beef Pad Thai (w/extra limes but no bean sprouts). Y'all the Paid Thai came w/chicharrones.....CHICHARRONES (pork rinds) - ya gurl was hella confused because that's what I noticed first. I thought they made a mistake and put chicharrones instead of beef! Lmao - don't judge me y'all ‍ The Paid Thai noodles were a bit different than what I'm used to but I didn't mind because it was so good! Oh, and the shrimp rolls were good too - it WAS ACTUALLY shrimp! Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Tip: if you pay in cash, there's a discount.

My only note was portions were far too small at the price. $58 take out at a casual dining spot in bay ridge didn't feel right. Shared amongst two, we were not quite full afterwards. Points for the flavors of the two dishes though!

One of my favorite Thai places now! The restaurant itself is kind of small but theres a good amount of seatings. We came on a Friday around 630 and when we left around 730, the place was filled. The staff are super friendly and attentive. We got the thai tea and thai coffee, the thai ny platter, thai green curry with duck and the khao soi. We absolutely loved everything we ordered. The green curry was extremely spicy though, but the flavor and duck were so good! Will definitely be coming back!

Food was either too sweet or salty. They were very busy on a Saturday night and could tell that some of the wait staff were stressed because of this. We ordered the duck kee mao and the crispy pork noodles. We found it challenging to finish each dish due to how heavy the flavors were since it wasn't balanced

I feel like you can't go wrong with a Thai place with good food. My go to order is the pad see ew with shrimp. You always have to pay extra for shrimp but it just taste better. They had a lunch special with a house salad and a single egg roll. I honestly didn't care for the sides. My main dish was super filling and I enjoyed it.

The restaurant is small (you might miss it if you're not looking for it) but it's cozy and the interior is pretty. The waiter was patient and attentive. There was not a bland dish on the table and nothing was left on the plate. The spring rolls were crispy and came with plum sauce. I expected the typical plum sauce but I was wrong. It was probably the best plum sauce I've had; it's slightly tart and not overwhelmingly sweet nor artificial. The rib eye was cooked rare (just like ordered). The larb chicken salad was spicy, flavorful, and delicious. If every salad tasted like the larb chicken salad, I'd be the healthiest person. The noodle on the pad Thai was cooked just right. We got the banana bomb, ice cream (both not pictured), and coconut pandan pudding for dessert The desserts were delicious and not overly sweet. The only thing that we were a little concerned about was the price to portion ratio. It's kinda expensive for the amount of food we paid for. Other than that, everything was good.

The food was tasty and authentic. The service was excellent and thoughtful. They overheard my friend wish me a happy bday and sent a dessert with HBD song on the house. We were impressed!

There are a good amount of very good Thai places in Queens, especially around the Elmhurst area. But when it comes to Manhattan and Brooklyn, the pickings of excellent Thai restaurants is more slim pickings and most run in the ranks of good to acceptable, mostly because they Americanize the ingredients or tame down the spice to almost non existence when there should be at least some kind of kick to certain dishes. It is especially hard to find a top tier Thai restaurant around the Bensonhurst, Sunset Park, Bay Ridge area. Arom Dee Thai that recently opened up at the edge of Bay Ridge might be able to change all that with dishes that reminds my tastes buds of what I was able to get during my multiple travels in Thailand over the years. My group of 5 ordered way too many dishes to write here without this review being more long winded as it already is so I would just write about a few dishes worth mentioning for various reasons. Just note that the other dishes in my photos are pretty good to excellent for the most part. Starting with the Thai Ice tea. I was pleasantly surprised to be asked how sweet I want the drink to be. I asked for mildly sweet and that was what I got. For me, this is the first Thai restaurant that let me customize my tea drink. Sometimes I find some places make theirs too sweet for my taste and it is nice to have some say in it. If there is any dish I would recommend to get if you have to chose one dish from the ones I've tried so far, it would be the Khao Soi. It is among my favorite dish from Northern Thailand, and it is surprisingly hard to find a very good version that would stand up to my memories of the dish. I came across a few that were competent and a few that are just not how a Khao Soi should be, especially with the texture of the noodles. But here, it is almost as close as I could get so far without buying a plane ticket to Chiang Mai to scratch my Khao Soi itch. Coconut creamy flavored curry broth with firm noodles and fork tender chicken drumstick and a contrasting fried noodles on top, I could eat this all day. We were told that this dish was popular enough with the other patrons that on certain days it might be sold out as it takes hours to prepare the broth. The Pad Thai was slightly on the sweeter side for 2 out of 5 of us but that is probably just a matter of preference. Just wanted to make sure some people are aware of that. Otherwise, it is a very good version of pad Thai with good contrasting textures. The Pad Gra Prow, we expected it to be more of the familiar version with spicy minced meat mixed with a ton of Thai Basil topped with a runny egg yolk from a duck or chicken which is the version we are more familiar with. Here there was no egg and the meat was not minced but we still loved the dish. So much flavor with a small kick from the peppers. It is just a different version of the dish that is just as good. Talking about food with a kick, a table across from us mentioned that her dish was too spicy for her. The owners took it back and said they would see what they could do. Not sure what they did but the rest of the meal the lady was happily eating with a smile. The desert menu is on the more limited side with only 4 items to choose from but the owners said that they were working to see if they could add more items to that part of the menu. We went on mother's day so they gave us a free desert of some kind if coconut sweet in tin cups and they were amazing. It was also not on the menu but we were told that this might potentially make it to the menu in the future as they were testing it out that night. If you want to which one I'm taking about, look for the dessert with the purple flowers in my photos. After this meal, I could say for sure I would be back to try out other dishes, and probably to get more of that Khoa Soi. I have been eyeing a few of the whole fish menu items but could not fit it into this meal without over stuffing ourselves so we have that to look forward to. Came here for dinner on July 4th. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. The portions are ginormous so come hungry. My table shared the NY appetizer platter. It came with 2 chicken satays, chive pancakes, spring rolls, friend tofus and maybe couple more items. It also came with a variety of sauces. If you want to try a little bit of all their appetizers, this is a good choice. We also shared the papaya salad. It was a tad bit in the sweeter spice. I wish there was a bit of spice as well. Still refreshing and crunchy. I asked the waiter his recommended dish. He recommended the pad see eew since the noodles are made fresh in the morning. I opted for this and it was really good. Noodles were chewy and great texture. The flavor of pad see eew was ok. Ended the meal with the mango sticky rice. The portion is small but was tasty since mangos are in season. They seem to be one of the more authentic Thai spots in bay ridge at the moment. There was a ton of items on their menu. Would come back next time to try some other dishes!

Went during lunch so were able to get the lunch special, which in my opinion was a really great deal. You get choice of an entree, veggie spring roll, and salad for $15.95 and the portions for the entree are full size. The service was amazing, they were super attentive at every moment, noticing when water refill was needed or an empty plate needed to be taken away immediately. We ordered the shrimp pad kee mao and the basil shrimp fried rice. The items were marked as spicy on the menu but it really wasn't at all (our spice level is very high). However the waitress noticed that we were adding hot sauce and gave the suggestion that next time if we specify our spice level they can just prepare it to be more spicy, which was very thoughtful of her to even notice and suggest. The shrimp was very tender and flavored well. I loved both items but preferred my pad kee mao. We had no leftovers, which speaks for how good the dishes were. This is the best Thai I've had in Brooklyn so far, looking forward to another round soon

My fiancé and I had the pleasure of grabbing lunch here last week, and it was such a lovely and enjoyable time! Freshly opened a month back, it serves beautiful interior, fabulous food, and great and caring service. They have wonderful lunch specials from 11-3 giving you a vast variety of options to choose from, along with a salad and spring roll to start. Great prices, great vibes, and lovely workers, here at the start of 3rd Ave. We are currently back here now for an early dinner and can't wait to dig in!

This is NOT real Thai food. The uniquely and distinct flavors were absent from all of the dishes we so love. I had really high hopes for this place due to the positive reviews, but our whole takeout experience fell flat. The prices were steep too, but I was willing to sacrifice that if the experience was worth it - sadly, it wasn't. Three pieces of curry puffs was $13 - ouch! They tasted decent enough, but pretty standard. The beef pad see ew didn't have any flavor; very bland and reminded my husband of some kind of Chinese take out dish. Nothing about it tasted Thai. My shrimp pad kee mao with mild spice was okay - probably could kick up the spice to medium, but the portion and overall taste wasn't what I was looking for. Even the pineapple fried rice tasted more Indian inspired than Thai; it was also very peppery which again wasn't what I was expecting. The only positive really was that the food was delivered completely in-tact with no spills or damages. This place is great if you've never had Thai food before, but for a seasoned veteran, you will be disappointed.

Celebrated my kid's graduation at this restaurant on a week night, made a reservation and were seated promptly. The host and waitress were very friendly and made sure our water was always filled. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share and everything was delicious! The green curry was medium spicy and it had a good kick, for people with the hot genes would definitely appreciate it! For desserts, since we were celebrating, we got a few items to try, the mango sticky rice was a hit! Mochi and ice cream also hit the spot for us! Overall a solid restaurant, and we plan to come back soon to try other items and support local businesses!

Great new local Thai spot in Bayridge!! Came in just shy of a week into their soft opening and had such a great experience. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was great too! We tried the corn fritters, pad see ew, papaya salad, and braised pork belly and enjoyed it all. They also have a spacious dining area where you do not feel cramped next to other tables, which I always appreciate. Will definitely be back.

A Welcome Revival of Thai Cuisine at the Start of 3rd Avenue This spot used to be a decent Thai restaurant, but like so many others, it never fully recovered after COVID. It felt abandoned for a while, and eventually, it just faded away. So it was such a pleasant surprise to see someone take over the space--not just revamp it, but truly breathe new life into it while staying faithful to authentic Thai flavors that our neighborhood has really been missing. We don't have many restaurant options on this end of the Bay Bridge, right at the beginning of 3rd Avenue, so this new restaurant is a much-needed addition. The interior has been beautifully redone--modern, warm, and inviting--while still keeping a few original paintings on the wall, a nice touch of continuity. We went the other night and it was packed, which is always a good sign. The service was excellent, the portions generous, and the food? Absolutely delicious. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, from flavor to presentation. We're definitely planning to go back, and I have no doubt they're going to do really well. This place is a gem, and I'm so glad to have it in the neighborhood.

Delicious food. Authentic and tasty. We had Pad See Ew, Penang Curry, crab fried rice and chicken satay. The Thai ice tea was yummy. Portion is a bit small for $7. Decor is nice. Generous spacing between tables so it was replacing to dine in. Service is excellent. Very attention and frequent.

Honestly, I do not know how this place isn't booked up with more reviews, because it was absolutely delicious. I got the basil fried rice with shrimp, and my girlfriend got one of the seasonal noodle dishes with crispy pork belly (forgot the name of it). Both dishes were phenomenal, but the fried rice was my favorite. They got the texture and the flavor DOWN!

Found this place online for an early dinner and it did not disappointment! Asked what recommendations the staff had, and everything we ordered was amazing! Friendly staff, clean, and great atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back here!!

Stopped in for happy hour at a bar across the street- 3 Jolly Pigeons- and from the bartender rec, I ordered the curry puffs and khao soi. Both were incredible. Rich, and deep flavor without being heavy. A few hours later on my way home I dropped in again to grab some green curry to go. Super friendly service, owner come out to talk to me thinking I was back unhappy, I was just back for more. Definitely the new Thai spot in the neighborhood.

All I can say is wow, wow wow wow wow. Awesome to finally have a good Thai place in bay ridge For when I come to visit family down the block. Food is quality and not expensive portion sizes are good- it's flavorful and pretty authentic. I recommend the lunch specials, the curry puffs, the chicken soup, woon sen, beef pad se ew, chicken satay Thai iced tea and coffee and the mango sticky rice. Both delivery and dine in has been excellent. Staff is great. This spots legit. Also since it's brand new it's very nice inside, the decoration and it's clean!!

Bay Ridge needed a stand out Thai restaurant and by golly I think one just opened up! Arrm Dee Thai may only be a month new and need additions to their decor and menu compared to some of my favorite Thai spotswhich are in Park Slope and Queens but Arom Dee Thai is doing a fantastic job so far with very delicious food and excellent service. On a Sunday night we arrived at 8:30pm for a late dinner while our usual other dinner options were closed or closing and our usual Thai favs meant a drive to Park Slope so we decided to stay nearby and give Arom Dee Thai a try with its great reviews being a newcomer to the Bay Ridge area. In the past I felt Bay Ridge needed more Thai options and more recently with a few new Thai spots we needed a stand out - I am pleasantly reporting that Arom Dee Thai is just this. The manager is pleasant and friendly as well as speaking different languages. The food is on par with some of our go to Thai restaurants in NYC. We ordered the Tofu Pad Thai. It was excellent, filled with ingredients, proper flavors, and noodles were not overly cooked or soggy/mushy. The green curry with chicken was excellent with a spicy hot kick, loaded with ingredients, nice flavor, abiet they used regular Asian eggplant instead of Thai eggplant. Price wise it's a tad more than expected being at the beginning of the 3rd Avenue strip in Bay Ridge vs say Manhattan or Park Slope but for taste, quality, and service Arom Dee Thai is now one of my go to Thai spots especially when I want to stay local for Thai!

Visiting my daughter in Brooklyn, and I really wanted Thai food. The fact that Arom Dee Thai was new intrigued us. What a gem! We had the five spice beef stew and Khao Soi, a chicken curry. Both were very flavorful. The curry had just the right amount of heat. The service was very attentive. Limited seating, but the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Definitely worth a return trip!

Food was great! Appetizer I got wings it was a bit spicy but delicious. Crab Rangoon was great too. Main course I got red curry with seafood. Portions were great. Service was ok. Had to asked for napkins a few times as well as water.

A friend and I dined here today around 4ish. We got the spring rolls, she got the pineapple fried rice and I got the braised pork belly. The spring rolls were delicious as was the braised pork belly. Very flavorful. The service was excellent. They must've come to our table a handful of times to make sure everything was going well. I ordered the chrysanthemum drink which I wasn't crazy about. The server was kind enough to take it off my bill at the end without me asking. Very friendly staff! I was also curious about the cups they were serving our water in. The owner (?) said I could buy some from the restaurant which I did. Highly recommend and I can't wait to try out other dishes soon!

Food was good' staff was very nice. We got the pad Thai ,the drunken noodles and the tom yum soup. The highlight for me was the tom yum soup, it had amazing spice. Been to a few Thai places in Brooklyn and I will say this place does stand out!

Wife found this Thai restaurant as we always on the lookout for Thai food in Brooklyn. It's a MUST TRY for sure. Ever since I visited Thailand years back, I had built up a pallet for good authentic Thai flavor. Everything we ordered (pad see yew with shrimp/ duck green curry/ shrimp cakes / mango with sticky rice) was absolutely delicious!! Only critique is the level of spice for the curry, my wife can't handle spice and the mild was actually quite spicy. I loved it as I love spicy and it had such great flavor. The best item is their Thai Ice Tea... have to say it's on my top 3 list. ABSOLUTELY great Thai tea flavor ... rich and flavorable. So please if you're wondering if this place is good... come try!
