"The appeal of this place is simple: all-you-can-eat buffet at an amazingly low price. Most all-you-can-eat buffets are as appetising as mouldy bread, but here it’s genuinely good if inevitably a little carb-heavy. Get the ace onion bhajis as soon as possible after they come out of the kitchen. Prepare yourself for some pretty intense anti-meat propaganda on the walls (‘Cancer danger in your fry-up!’), but applaud the restaurant for letting homeless people eat for free. And bring a couple of beers – there’s no alcohol license." - Richard Ehrlich

Excellent Indian food - bar none. Just be aware that the menu has new pricing for 2025. Old menu is still posted but look for the one marked 2025. Most prices are in the middle $20s, not $10 to $20. Prices are absolutely in line with quality!

This place has the best Indian food in town! Our waitress was super kind and helpful on picking dishes. Highly recommended!

Very nice restaurant. Spice level is tailored to a milder palate. The $18 brunch is a phenomenal value!

WOW. 😍 I have tried every Indian restaurant from Sarasota to Fort Myers… Today I ventured a bit further to North Naples, and found “Aroma Indian Cuisine”…. And WOW!!! This is THE BEST I have EVER had!!! The weekend lunch buffet was priced VERY fairly, at $18 per person. The dishes were a mixture of both meat and vegan. I usually don’t even like goat, but HERE, it was fantastic. The service was so prompt and friendly. This is my new go-to restaurant, for sure!!!!

Update - tried the buffet this weekend. Very nice selection of food, salads and desserts. 👍👍 Our first time here. Yummy. Everything was excellent!!! We also found out they have a buffet on weekends (I think he said that includes Fridays). We love buffets so we are thinking of coming back next weekend. This is very close to where we live so our “other favorite” Indian restaurant will have to do without us unless we are up that way. Yummy, yummy, yummy.

I m so disappointed to try very basic India dish which called aloo paratha . U can literally see the quality. Tasty is terrible. I specifically called them and ask them about aloo paratha for my 2 year daughter. I would say I can’t even eat one bite out of whole paratha . That’s was disappointing about that place . I would suggest if anyone order for take out u please make sure what they gives u . It could ruin your entire mood for having India food . I m sorry to say but I will never go back again .

I tried the lunch buffet on Friday with my friend. Upon entrance we were very impressed by the cleanliness and friendly welcome. As I approached the buffet, I was happy to see that had a very good variety of dishes that I was very fond of. After tasting different choices, my friend and I were extremely impressed by the flavors of the food. We definitely agreed it was by far the best Indian food I tasted thus far 😋 It is now our new spot for Indian. It definitely does not disappoint 👏 Update: we went for lunch today and had a dish off the regular menu and it was exquisite. The flavors we're amazing and just as good if not better than the buffet. So we got the full experience of what Aromas has to offer and we are very pleased with the quality of the food and presentation 😀

August 2024: I ordered delivery again and forgot to request a “hot” spice level, so it was still not spicy at all. I ordered the same stuff. Still delicious. July 2024: I ordered delivery, so I didn’t get to experience the restaurant, but am very happy with the food. I did list the chili paneer and butter paneer dish as medium spice, but it didn’t taste like it had much spice at all in it. I’m always afraid to order it with a high level of spice, but may have to do that next time I order with them. I forgot to take a picture of the Rasmali, but I assure you it was delicious! I love that sweet treat. This one came with 3 balls.

Yelp
OK. This is my second review for this restaurant within a week. My wife and I ate here and decided it was so good that we would have to take our daughter and son-in-law and grandkids here when they came this week. So there was six of us for dinner. All of us loved it (except my granddaughter who doesn't eat Indian food. The butter, chicken, chicken tikka masala, a paneer dish, four or five nans, fried rice (guess for who) terrific. My wife had the lamb chops. She loved them, but she was a bit surprised at their size. She was expecting the lamb chops that she got back home at Indian restaurants. I explained that they were described as baby lamb chops on the menu. We need to be more thoughtful and read more carefully. Otherwise, she is very happy. We will certainly return.

Kam S.

Yelp
The prices of everything increased by roughly $4 while the quality of the rice has gone down. I would be okay with prices increasing if the quality of the food increased (or even stayed the same!). But the rice is just really bad now. This is extremely disappointing... I don't want to go to my favorite restaurant anymore because of these changes. Used to be the best Indian restaurant in town. I'm not sure if they changed management, but it was an expensive and disappointing experience.

Yelp
Great food I did carryout Really slow service this place is seriously under staffed Ambience is strip mall weak

Ken H.

Yelp
We used to love Aroma, but our last visit was a HUGE disappointment. The place wasn't all that busy, but the service was extremely slow and not attentive. And there were several people waiting for orders that both seemed to be taking WAY longer than promised and had missing items. The entry was getting clogged with folks waiting, and complaining, which really killed the atmosphere. Most disappointing, though, was the food. Very bland and oily chicken tikka masala, and veggie korma that didn't taste anything like Indian food - more like American pot pie filling. We've loved both of those dishes there in the past, and these were nowhere near as good. The combination of below par food and poor service makes us leery of returning.

Yelp
Would have given it a 5 if my favorite dish Tandoori chicken came with white meat as well, but it doesn't and they wont let you get it. I have had great Indian food in Japan, London and NYC. In Naples, not. Until I tried this place. Aroma is fantastic. We had chicken tikka masala with rice at spice level 5. Mild and delicious flavor and smell. We had garlic naan, it was perfect. Good amt of garlic, wet with butter and garlic. Loved it. And we had chicken tikka from clay oven ( we did get white meat when asked). It was DELICIOUS. Service was good. Great care in presentation, service and table setting. Restaurant clean, nice decor. We are very happy to have found this place, finally to have an Indian Restaurant we will eat at. Have tried others in Naples. None compare to food taste, quality and presentation. Wish they would open up another one of these out on vanderbilt rd near collier.

Yelp
In terms of food, Aroma gets a 3.0. Very average Indian takeout food, I'm not sure why people rave about it. Granted, we have a lot of choices in New York City and aren't impressed with this food. The chicken tikka masala was fine but extremely oily, literally a layer of oil covering it. Saag paneer was flavorless and samosas needed a dipping sauce, they were dry. What brings this review down to 2 stars is the horrible service. We ordered takeout and were told half an hour. When we walked in we were told an additional five minutes and ended up waiting an extra 30. There is very poor communication and dishonesty to customers here. Even if it's busy, staff should understand how to estimate wait times and being busy is not an excuse to have people waiting excessively. Not only that, but they refused to comp anything, which should be expected after such poor service. The hostess instead was quite rude and haphazardly offered a mango lassi. I told her we didn't want that and any discount would be appreciated but unfortunately she kept insisting it wasn't possible. If Aroma would like to be taken seriously, it should reconsider how it treats customers. We will not be coming back and will not recommend this to others.

Yelp
What we ordered: My husband and I grabbed take out on nye from here. He got chicken korma and I got chicken vindaloo and we also ordered veggie samosa and 2 orders of garlic naan. Our order came out to about $65 (without tip). Complaint: When I called he quoted me 40 minutes, it ended up taking over an hour. Like I said we came on nye and I think they were short staffed so I can understand the extra wait. The thing that bothered me was the women's attitude. They didn't seem concerned or apologetic to any of us who were waiting over an hour. When I finally got my food I checked the bag to ensure everything was in there and noticed the chutney for our samosa was missing. I told the women it wasn't in there and she argued with me and then took the bag and looked herself. Then when she couldn't find it she grumpily walked away barely saying she'd get it for me. She took her time getting it and handed it to me while mostly ignoring me and talking to others. Food: Chicken Korma: Overall it was good, it was a bit oily, the chicken was tender, and my husband thought it could be a bit spicier (but that's a personal preference). Chicken Vindaloo: It was really good! I'd definitely get it again! The chicken was tender, the gravy was flavorful, and the spice was great. Garlic Naan: It was garlic naan, not the best I've had not the worst. Veggie Samosa: It came with 3 small samosas and 1 small chutney ramekin. Can't say they were worth the $8 or $9. But they were crispy and flavorful.

Yelp
Excellent Indian food! In our opinion, it's the best within a 20 mile radius. The service is remarkable, and they patiently will listen to dietary needs, as well as discuss tolerance for individual levels of spiciness. They also have a buffet on the weekends. Ambiance is very relaxing and pleasant. The music could be more relaxing, however. Go!

Phil M.

Yelp
Food was excellent and full of flavor. We tried the following... Aloo Gobi, Chili Chicken, Butter Chicken, Lamb Vindaloo, Lamb Rogan Josh, Jeera Rice, Naan, Dal Tadka, Lachha paratha. The Butter Chicken and Lamb Vindaloo were our favorites, but the Vindaloo lacked any real heat. Good portions, fast delivery and great quality!

Vijay B.

Yelp
Brilliant food. Great service. Amazing taste. Dessert was great. Ms. Ragi. And John the Baptist are amazing.

Pran J.

Yelp
Very tasty Indian food. We tried Butter Chicken, Malai Kofta, Gobhi Manchurian, Garlic naan and Plain naan. Chef knows how real butter chicken is cooked (authentic taste like in India). Gobhi Manchurian, and naan were pretty good as well. We will try again once in Naples, FL. We had reservation and the table we seated was not clean. We requested to change it to another table. And we were moved/accommodated happily to another table.

Yelp
We have eaten here a few times and so it is time for a review. We arrived for dinner last evening (Monday) at 5 pm and the place was empty, but during the next hour all the tables filled up and several people came in for take out orders. This is not a large eatery, so I would recommend a reservation on the weekends, especially during season. They also offer a buffet lunch on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The most expensive item we ordered was a bottle of red wine, Malbec, for $30. (Miss all the BYOBs in NJ). This was a good compliment to Indian cuisine. We ordered everything medium spice level, which was exactly that - medium. We started with an appetizer of Tamarind Eggplant, yummy. Then, for entrees shared Lamb Kadai, Saag Paneer, Garlic Naan, Plain Naan, and rice. Everything was delicious. Service was attentive and friendly by the lady from Kerala dressed in all white. I think this may be a family business. I highly recommend Aroma for quality Indian cuisine, serving generous portions at reasonable prices.

C P.

Yelp
I purchased lamb Tikka masala, and it was just OK. It comes with rice, and when the lady asked me if I wanted coconut rice, I just assumed that she was replacing the rice with coconut rice. I purchased it, and oh by the way, they charge for nan as well. The man was not great, but not terrible either. The coconut rice was not even edible, it was an entire portion and I had to throw it in the garbage.

Yelp
I just had a wonderful meal at Aroma. Our server was great, the food was absolutely delicious . I will be back for sure. Thank you !

Dale B.

Yelp
Celebrated our daughter's 30th birthday here. WOW....great meal and a great experience! Highly recommended!!! Raji was a great hostess!!

Jeff L.

Yelp
This place is fantastic. The food is very authentic and the staff was very friendly. This is definitely my new go to Indian restaurant in the Naples area.

Amanda S.

Yelp
The 4* review reflect several recent lunch experiences. One that's more memorable was trying to enjoy a quick 1:50pm lunch Friday buffet alone... there's a huge sign on their window that their buffet ends at 2:30pm. The waiter was super-stern and told me that the buffet was closed - there were still two tables dining. I mentioned I'll be quick - in and out and had no problem with consuming what's left.. no need to cook me new food. He said the only option was to take the food to-go. The kitchen made fresh naan bread - I went ahead the filled the box. I ate about 1/4 of it in my car and the rest was lunch/dinner for 2 other meals. The food was great. My favorites include the fried chilli chicken, butter chicken and their fresh hot naan bread.

Tiffany D.

Yelp
We came here for the lunch buffet and it is an easy 5 stars. The chicken tiki masala was my favorite but all the food is flavorful and delicious. Plus this place is very clean. My new favorite place!!! Stop for the lunch buffet. It's a bit pricey for lunch, but as the old adage goes you get what you pay for!!

Allyson N.

Yelp
Really Great flavor, naan was excellent. Will be back for sure. Got takeout so can't comment on service or ambiance.

Elizabeth H.

Yelp
I would have loved to give Aroma 5 stars for the delicious food, I can't get passed how rude I was received when I came in to pick up my to go order. I tried to say hello and let them know I was here for a pick up. No one acknowledged me only a bus boy was so kind after I finally found someone to talk to me. The food I ordered was good and full of flavor. The interior was cute and clean. Not sure if I will be back or not.

William F.

Yelp
We have visited this restaurant a few times and each time the food is better. Last evening we took our friends, who have never eaten Indian food, seems strange, but they loved it and we found the food better than previous visits. The waiter which I believed was the owner was super helpful in recommending a few dishes and talking with us. Overall this is a great restaurant with great service and is super reasonable in price. Cockage fee is only $10/ bottle which is the right price between the snobby restaurants in Naples which charge $40 to $75/ bottle. Amira has moved into the number 1 Indian restaurant in the Naples area in our list. We will be back

Deborah K.

Yelp
Absolutely excellent experience. Our server, John was delightful. We ordered Samoas as appetizer. Entree was lamb Rogan Josh and a mixed grill dish. Both absolutely delicious!! Ras malai for dessert. This was our first time, definitely won't be the last. A wonderful local business.

Rob H.

Yelp
it is delicious, authentic Indian food. the owners are very helpful if you need help deciding what you might like.

Rhonda R.

Yelp
I decided to go on the recommendation of a friend who is Indian and living in the local area. It was on a Monday in the late evening and the place had several parties of diners, one a large group of 6-8 people. We entered and waited at the host's desk. A server was tending to the nearby large group and afterward glanced our way. Didn't speak. Didn't say that someone would be with us shortly. Instead, he walked toward a female server and whispered to her. She still didn't acknowledge us at all. We felt unwelcome and promptly exited. Only then did she run out after us. I hope they will extend better customer service to future melanated guests. Not sure I'll be one of them although I hear the food is good, so I'll leave two stars based on my friend's recommendation alone.

Kerry C.

Yelp
Had a wonderful dinner here tonight. We had the following: Saag paneer Chana masala Navaratan khurma Garlic naan Samosa Raita Gulab jamun Everything was very good. The Chana was a little spicy but not bad at all. We like trying different Indian restaurants and this is the best I've tried in the Naples area. Beautiful decor inside and friendly waitress (Raji). If you like Indian food please try this place. We will be back!

David D.

Yelp
Best Indian food in Naples very authentic flavors and good menu. I have eaten at a lot of Indians and spent quite some time in India both in the north and south and this is a great representation

Trent W.

Yelp
This place has the best Indian buffet in the area. The interior is clean and pleasant, and the owners always make us feel welcome.

Mister F.

Yelp
Had a desire for Indian recently. But since it's been awhile, I was hoping for a lunch buffet. Since the Vapors (covid) wasn't sure if they were back yet. Thanks to Yelp I discovered Aroma. Went there this past Sunday. Sign on the door states they have the lunch buffet 1130-2pm Fri-Sun. I love a buffet when I don't really know the cuisine. It gives me a chance to taste different things and pick what I like as opposed to looking at a menu and guessing. I remembered a few things like the Chicken Saag and Goat Curry and Chicken Tikka Masala (all great BTW). Along with delicious Naan bread. All in all it was very satisfying. The only negative was it opened 1130 and when I arrived at 1230 there was only seating outside. I felt removed from the ambiance of the place and in the future I'll wait for indoor seating.

Mark B.

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious. The Vishnu and the entire team went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied with everything. We will definitely be back and highly recommend them if you're looking for good Indian food.

Heli P.

Yelp
The food was ok. The flavors are very muted and do not seem to be for an Indian palate. Also the prices on the menu are lower than they actually are charging. The gobi Manchurian was good but the Hakka noodles had no flavor.

Jose G.

Yelp
Fantastic food, quality, taste, spice level, decor, location! We had the lunch buffet on Saturday, June 15, 2024. There were vegetarian options and several meet options including chicken and goat meat. They included naan bread in the buffet price. Everything was on point and so delicious!

Wels D.

Yelp
A nice Indian restaurant in Naples. Tried their lamb curry with rice, chai masala and paratha. All very tasty and the portions were especially large. Great customer service by Vishnu. Will visit again.

Pascal B.

Yelp
Great service and the food was incredible. We were s big group so we tried many dishes, all fabulous.

Shepard S.

Yelp
I love Indian food and had eaten at all of the local Indian restaurants except Aroma. Friends who are Indian food connoisseurs, suggested that that we join them at Aroma. The restaurant is very near our home. On entering, we were warmly welcomed. The decor is pleasant. There is an extensive menu. There are dosa choices that I have not seen at other local places. In addition,, there are other Southern India dishes. We were impressed with the dosa filled with potato and served with a sweet sauce. The garlic eggplant with chickpeas and a tamarind sauce was outstanding. Aroma is one of the few places to serve poori. The flavor of the Tandoori Chicken was outstanding. The Sag Lamb was delicious. There were lemon pickles that cleansed the palate. Aroma has become my favorite Indian Restaurant. You can figure $50 a head. There were many Indian diners. So, the food must be authentic.

Sean F.

Yelp
Got served raw chicken lollipops. The place was understaffed. The raw chicken made me sick.

Brandi G.

Yelp
AMAZING! if you love Indian food like I do this place is a must! I wasn't able to capture everything because we devoured it! We had the chili paneer, shrimp Tikka masala, garlic naan and two deserts (names slipped my mind) that were all incredible! We will be back without a doubt

Joe C.

Yelp
Food was just okay, nothing out of this world to have 4.5 stars. I had the butter chicken and it was missing something, not a lot of flavor. This is my go to for Indian food and IMO, it was just okay. Service was very nice, place is very clean.

Amelia D.

Yelp
Best Indian food in the area of Naples/Bonita. Nice selection of dishes on the buffet. I've only gone to Sunday buffet and was happy with the service and thrilled with the food.

Sanaaya D.

Yelp
Amazing food!! Food was authentic fresh and delicious! John was amazing and service was awesome! The restaurant looks very nice and ambiance is nice. Would highly recommend to everyone! Definitely coming back when in Florida.

Annie S.

Yelp
We came in yesterday, prior to the official opening day (today) . Off the bat, beautiful seating arrangements & decor with Indian food themed wall hangings . Indian music in background along with a large statue of Hindu god welcoming costumers as you enter. Food was delicious in my opinion but could likely improve with time as it lacked that Indian spice /heat I was expecting. That being said, we all agree that the Butter chicken was delicious! Pictures of menu and inside seating/food added.

Hernan R.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our meals. We need all the good ethnic restaurants we can get. Well worth the visit.

Amos S.

Yelp
Ridiculously great Indian food. The staff is very fast and super friendly. The parottas were very authentic to Kerala style and I've never had any as good as theirs. Pricing was reasonable as well and the vibe was very nice. The bullet naan was great as well! Highly highly recommended all the way around!

Anna C.

Yelp
Great service, many items tried at this place in my past few visits were very tasty, in particular 'malabar parotta' freshly made, goat kurma, chicken biriyani, etc., Try once this place, you won't be disappointed and will go back again !

Linda O.

Yelp
Food is fabulous!!! The staff is great, especially Raji and Jose. I highly recommend!!!!

Patrick P.

Yelp
Great food and service! We had a good time with the weekend buffet, but definitely looking forward to returning and trying a la carte.

Sarah D.

Yelp
Food was good. We went to Saturday buffet. More offerings would have been nice for the price.

Boja N.

Yelp
Every visit to Aroma is better than the last time if that is possible! The service (Raji's) is impeccable, she makes you feel at home each time! The Ambiance is welcoming, warm and calm. And then the food, the food is delicious and the portions are perfect! Best Indian food in SW Florida

Kenneth P.

Yelp
I don't ordinarily leave reviews since most food places are mediocre. BUT this restaurant was phenomenal. It was the best Indian food I've ever eaten. And I will be back - often! Ordered Shrimp Manchurian, medium heat. To die for. Too much for party of two but will make a magnificent snack later. Sauce and sautéed veggies on it were simply delectable. Ordered Butter Chicken for the wife just a bit of heat. Ordered Chicken Chettinad with peppercorn curry sauce.with level 3 heat. And naan. Magnificent food. Spices were layered and beautifully balanced. Portions were large. The very best Indian food I've had. Approachable heat without runny sinuses! And nice ambiance. A rewarding experience.

Denver T.

Yelp
Great appetizers with right amount of spice level for the mild hearted. The menu was holistic and had items there were classic north and South Indian culinary dishes. The staff and service was great as well!! Our favorite items were Chili Paneer in appetizer and Mango Kulfi in dessert. The prices are bit high for certain Indian food items such as $15 for Masala dosa but rest of the menu was reasonably priced
