The Philly BYOBs That Get The Job Done - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"At Aroma On 3rd, if you forget a bottle of wine at home, the servers just give you their reserves. That’s the kind of warm and welcoming place it is. The Pennsport restaurant is small and intimate, so you’ll see every plate of pillowy gnocchi, seafood fettuccine, or juicy whole branzino that goes to each table. The food is consistently good, so if you’re indecisive, you could close your eyes, order whatever your finger lands on, and be satisfied. They don’t take reservations online, but you can call ahead. Or just walk in and have an impromptu Italian feast." - candis mclean, alison kessler

Aroma on 3rd Review - Pennsport - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"At Aroma On 3rd, if you forget a bottle of wine at home, the servers just give you their reserves. That’s the kind of warm and welcoming place it is. It’s full of regulars who have been coming here for years, like the couples who claim this place as their own, and old ladies making declarations about the youth obsession with “the tick tocky thing in their phones.” The Pennsport restaurant is small and intimate, so you’ll see every plate of pillowy gnocchi, seafood fettuccine, or juicy whole branzino that goes to each table. The food is consistently good, so if you’re indecisive, you could close your eyes, order whatever your finger lands on, and be satisfied. They don’t take reservations online, but you can call ahead. Google
Very nice italian byo. Very good food and service. We had muscles in red for an app and they were delicious. Also had the salt baked branzino and a pasta special with crab. Both were very good. A nice tiramisu to finish. I liked the atmosphere too. Definitely worth checking this place out.

Google

Google
We had an absolutely excellent meal tonite! Calmari, mussels, super tender porcini veal chop, marscapone gnocchi, and seafood fettucine.....all delicious. And the panzanella starter was amazing. they comped up w chocolate cello shots at the end of our meal...it was a truly nice touch. We will def be back!!!

Google
We had the best time at dinner here. The best Italian BYO in Philly IMO. The veal Milanese is huge and insanely good. Perfectly tender and full of flavor. My friends got the risotto and gnocchi which were both also amazing. For apps we did their specials for the night which were eggplant parm and the fried Mozarella & tomatoes. Meal was perfect from start to finish and the staff were all incredible. Absolutely no notes will be coming back again soon.

Google
Food and service are incredible, a very nice date spot. Everything was on point and our server was super attentive and kind. Definitely will be back. Also, BYOB, which is the best! This is one of my favorite Italian “white table cloth” spots I’ve been to.

Google
My boyfriend and I were looking for an Italian place since we recently moved to Philly and we found it! Simply FANTASTIC! The servers and staff were SO welcoming and friendly! The beautiful bread salad appetizer was such a wonderful way to start the meal! The pasta was beyond delicious and perfectly cooked. It was a PERFECT meal with THE BEST service! Thank you and we will be back!!

Google
This place is the BEST in the city!!!! Never disappoints. Tony is an amazing chef and so accommodating and Guido is the most attentive and best waiter I have ever had!!!

Kimberly Robinson

Google
We just left this establishment & had a fantastic meal. Service & Hospitality were spot on. Will return. I'm a vegetarian & they had plenty of food to choose from. Great location!

Yelp
Wow - a cute smaller place, only probably 15-20 tables. The food, amazing - really good flavors and quality to the food. Tried the lobster gnocchi and Aroma Risotto - both amazing. The banana Crème Brûlée was also quite good, as was the Fried Mozzarella appetizer which had crab and a pink sauce on it. High quality food and great service. Of note they do charge 4% extra for credit cards and are a BYOB, but no corkage fees.

Yelp
Went last night for my birthday. Gotta say: I can't recall when I've had better service. Our wait person was so attentive and helpful. I struggled deciding which of the many entrees to have for dinner. Finally decided on one of the evening's specials. It was just as described. While I enjoyed it very much, it was so large, I had to take home the rest. Dinner tonight! And yum. He also presented me a delicious Tiramisu, gratis--with a candle, along with shots of some chocolate liquore. So, so good!

Yelp
I'm not sure what it is, but this place felt extremely underwhelming. The interior and vibe was great when we came in. The waiter was helpful, but seemed flustered as if he needed a break. Husband and I got pasta dishes. The complimentary bread was not great, so we avoided it. Just didn't taste good and felt stale. The pasta was oily and just not tasty for both of us. I was disappointed.

Yelp
Just moved into the neighborhood and went out to dinner here with my family. It was an excellent experience from the hospitality, ambience, and finally the food. Would recommend making a reservation or getting there early cause it does fill up fast. Would definitely go back

Abigail P.

Yelp
Amazing experience! Moved to the area a few months ago and just finally got around to coming here, we will be back! Service was phenomenal! Gives you a very classic Italian vibe. We ordered the mussels which were a special, a pasta dish, chicken dish, and dessert. Every item was better than the last!
google avatar

Yelp
What a great find this place is. This is a family run traditional Italian restaurant with really great service. We came with a big party and every dish we ordered was so tasty. We even got a few slices of every cake they had and every one of them was good. The appetizers are a must try. I really wish I lived closer to this place because I would come regularly.

Yelp
I only have a vague recollection of our meal, and that's probably the best way to summarize it - forgettable. Each dish tasted pretty good, but their textures were not pleasing - everything seemed over cooked - kind of mushy. I've had hundreds of Italian meals, and very many were better than this one. I could see that the doneness was off, before the food even reached my mouth. Bread came to the table without butter, oil, or any other garnish, topping, or accompaniment. It was good bread, but not nearly special enough to try to feature like that. We had to ask for oil, and that made the bread situation quite all right. The dining room was nice looking, nothing special, and the view out the big windows was simply of a couple of ordinary streets in South Philly. The service was quite good - the wait staff should be proud of themselves! I might go back sometime, perhaps a new cook was being brought on to the staff. Everybody, has a bad day, and this just may have been one for Aroma. It happens.

Suzanne D.

Yelp
My husband and I had the pleasure of dining here last night. We were lucky enough to stumble upon it. Yowza - what a meal! The service is impeccable - your needs are determined by the staff before you even realize you need something - another fork, more water etc. I spilled some wine on my blouse - poof - here's a stain wipe. We had the eggplant appetizer and the langostino. A delicious salad. Squid ink pasta and sea bass entrees. Every morsel was incredible. Compliments to the amazing chef. We'll be back - SOON!!

Yelp
Another great meal in this tiny place. Service was super as usual. The food hit all the points. Creative, unique, flavorful. The shrimp fra diablo special was beyond delicious as well as all the other meals. BYOB

Yelp
Absolutely amazing! Our server, Guido, knew everything there was to know. He knew exactly everything there was to know about the menu and directed me to one of their specials their homemade fresh gnocchi. I was originally doubtful, but one taste was all it took to blow my mind. Also sharing with my table the sausage rabe and the sirloin steak. I was put directly in flavorland with these amazing dishes. I enjoyed having conversations with our insanely friendly waiter, a life long Philadelphian, and after dinner, when all were stuffed, we were greeted with a complimentary tiramisu of which tasted and looked as if it came from the gates of heaven. If you are anywhere in Philly or even in the general radius, I command you to drive, walk, or scooter right here and chow down on the single greatest thing that will ever touch the grace of your pungent little mouth.

Yelp
Ambiance: the place is small and easily booked. Im a fan of small and quaint restos but it's too small for me and I'm a tiny gal. Food: delicious. They gave us this apps on the house (please see pic) forgot whats in it but very flavorful. Price: reasonable Parkings everywhere so this is a plus!

Yelp
This was an AMAZING meal. Such authentic taste, and a wonderful chef! You really get the sense that you're the only customer when you dine here - and it seemed like everyone else felt the same way. We ate like royalty, and everything was to die for. I certainly wish we had a restaurant like this back home!
google avatar

Marcella G.

Yelp
So good! Came here with a group of girls and was really impressed! It's byob so you can definitely save quite a bit when you aren't paying for a few drinks each! We all had different things but shared the artichoke Appetizer which was really good and garlicky! I had the chicken with spinach and ricotta and it was delicious, pounded thin and super flavorful. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
All of the glowing reviews about this place are spot on! Truly, this is one of the finest Italian restaurants in Philly. The urban chic ambience is perfect: neither stuffy formal nor run down. The service is impeccable. And the food... wow. The menu has an impressive depth for a place this size... 12 pasta dishes, 12 entrees and 3 or 4 specials. Hard to choose, but no wrong answers here for sure! The veal chop stuffed with prosciutto and fontina was incredibly favorable and tender. The fettuccine with shrimp, clams and crabmeat was fantastic. The blush sauce with the grilled eggplant was remarkable, and the cheesecake was so good. BYOB is a bonus. Highly recommended.

Doug G.

Yelp
This restaurant is top notch. From the minute we walked in, they knew who we were for our reservation before having to say a word. Guido, our waiter, a lifelong Philadelphian, oozed charm and was so knowledgeable about the menu and all of the variations that could be made to suit what we were in the mood for. He made us feel like we were regulars despite this being our first time and being from across the country. The pasta dishes were amazing! The mascarpone gnocchi was something that we have never eaten anywhere. Tony, the owner and chef, came out to ensure that we enjoyed our meal. This is a can't miss spot when in Philly.

Yelp
This place is a gem. BYOB. From start to finish everything was just perfect. Service, ambiance and food were all top notch. We had lamb chops, pastas, halibut and branzino. And a bunch of desserts. Highly recommended
google avatar

Yelp
Very Fresh Pasta and some of the best lamb chops ever. Servers were very hospitable and food was delicious.

Yelp
We visited Ristorante Aroma for my birthday. It was my first experience and they did not disappoint. The food was amazing. From the apps to the entrees, every bite was a trip to Italy! The staff were terrific, very attentive yet unassuming. Can we talk about our waiter, Guido..... His knowledge, professionalism and experience coupled with the ability to make us feel like family was unprecedented. This restaurant is a hidden gem. Cannot wait to go back!
google avatar

Melanie T.

Yelp
Just moved into the area and been meaning to check out this cute place. Upon entering, the restaurant is very cozy and the staff was friendly and attentive. It's BYOB, so definitely recommend bringing a bottle of wine to enjoy with your meal. The waiter gave us great recommendations and specials for the night. The entree portions are pretty big so had leftovers. We had the octopus appetizer, and lamb chop and pasta for entree. Highly recommend and would come back for date night or girls night out!!

Yelp
Decided to try this place out and was satisfied. Service was great! Food was delicious! BYOB.

Yelp
We had Aroma on 3rd cater our daughter's engagement party on December 2, 2023. The food was fantastic - chicken piccata, meatballs, rigatoni Bolognese and an antipasto platter - all for 20 people. Again the food was great and we had plenty. Will definitely use them again and look forward to dining at their restaurant.

Yelp
We made reservations in 4 days in advance for a party of 5 adults. When we arrived, we were seated at a rectangular table intended to accommodate 4 but that was set up for 5, squishing an extra place setting along one side. When we asked to be moved to a larger table that would comfortably accommodate us, we were told all were reserved. We should have left however it was a birthday celebration, on a weeknight, and we each arrived at the restaurant from different locations coming directly from work. Needless to say, we will not be returning to Ristorante Aroma, for a number of reasons but the main reason is the total disregard for our comfort. The restaurant should not have taken our reservation if they couldn't accommodate us comfortably. We also want to note that other tables were empty throughout the entire time we were there. This was an entirely different experience than on other occasions when we have eaten at Aroma, so we wonder if the restaurant is under new management/ownership. Aroma was a favorite of ours. Not now. GH

Yelp
My wife and I dined at Aroma on 3rd tonight and as always dinner was over the top! From the 2 special appetizers to our entrees and dessert, amazing. Tony you far exceed every expectation. My wife enjoyed every bite of her Gnocci while i enjoyed the special dish of Halibut, which for sure was the best Halibut I've ever had, it was moist and done perfectly!!! The homemade Lemoncello too was over the top. The cheesecake, was perfect too, light and fluffy with excellent taste. Tony, you always are the perfect chef and host, thank you so very much for your excellent and well crafted food and service. You also run a restaurant the way it should be, which always attracts us back time after time. All the best to you, your family and staff, Neal and Maryann Rubin

Marissa C.

Yelp
So tasty. Loved the gnocchi and will be back to try more. Service was good. Enjoyed the meal here fiery much.

Michael V.

Yelp
Food is outta this world. Found a new spot for date night. Owner from the old La Veranda days.
google avatar

Gloria L.

Yelp
I enjoyed my dinner at Ristorante Aroma. The food we ordered was great! I had the lobster gnocchi and it was amazing. The gnocchi just melted like butter in your mouth. We also ordered some appetizers and dessert. They had an appetizer that came in a fried Parmesan cheese bowl, which was delicious. The "chocolate bomb" dessert we ordered was also absolutely amazing. I have had better tiramisu at other italian BYOB's in the city, but this chocolate dessert was one of the best things I had here. My only complaint was that the restaurant was actually too quiet. It was virtually empty when we were eating there, so every time we talked it seemed like we were being extremely loud. Maybe it was because of the particular day and time we went, but it was extremely quiet. I would be interested in sitting outside here, too.

Yelp
Ristorante Aroma is a pretty small restaurant in washington square west. I arrived there on a saturday evening with a group of 7. I did call ahead for reservations for the large group The decor inside is pretty nice, and you can sense that this is an 'upscale' place given the decorations and the types of people eating there. It is overall a little bit cramped - not much room to move with servers and other patrons. While it wasn't completely full when we got there, it got filled up entirely by the time we left. The bread came out first. It was decent. I wasn't sure what kind of bread it was, but it was that softer more crumbly bread that went with some eggplant/garlic condiment. It was a great way to start the dinner. We also got appetizers. The first appetizer was the calamari, which was excellent ($18). Usually you expect something fried and crispy but the calamari here was not. The pieces were large, tender, and juicy, and had a great grilled taste. The olives and capers on the plate complimented the dish very well. The other dish was the caprese - it was good, but not sure that this thing should cost $17, which is the common theme to ristorante Aroma. The pasta I got was the rossetti aroma ($26). Basically it's kind of like rolled lasagna but very crispy. It was served in a creamy orange sauce which I liked a lot. Usually these sauces can be too overpowering in terms of saltiness and buttery-ness but this sauce did not. I enjoyed the texture and ingredients inside, but felt like it was a little too "conventional" for the price. I expected a little bit more meat inside as I did not taste any of the prosciutto very much. Also, the portion size was a little small (see photos) with only 5 pieces of this pasta. I did notice the plate was extremely hot, which was a good sign. They keep the plates hot so the food remains hot as you are eating it. Aside from my food, everyone did seem to like their food too. But the common complaint - way too little food for prices that don't justify it. Everyone in our party finished all the food with no leftovers and I think some people were still a little hungry. After tax and tip, the average cost per head was $39! Not great to spend that much and not be entirely full. Finally the service: It was good and I have no comment about it. Final rating: 4 Stars. Great quality italian food but price and portion size is probably too high for me to come back here again.

Yelp
Food was so so so good!! Service was perfect! Very crowded on a Friday night but great vibe. Can't wait to go back and get the chicken

Yelp
Hurt a Little by Expectations Came here as a party of three. Service was great. It's obvious servers are top notch and well trained. I had heard wonderful things about this place and, after reading the reviews, I decided to give this place a shot to show off my city to an out of town friend. The food was really good but if I had to pick a handful of restaurants to show off Philly as a foodie city, I don't think this would fall into that bunch. Suffice it to say, it didn't quite blow me away. I love the BYOB, as always, and you likely won't be disappointed if you go here and, perhaps, I went on an off night, but just taper expectations a little bit upon your visit.

Kelly J.

Yelp
AMAZING. Tony is the best host. the food is hearty and flavorful. You feel welcome, like family, as soon as you walk in the door.
google avatar

Abby S.

Yelp
This place used to be delicious, but I'm not sure if there's a new chef, but I went this weekend and it was such a disappointment. The eggplant was burnt, the salad didn't taste fresh and the bread was on the stale side. I don't know if the night I went something was off, but it was definitely a huge difference from how I remember the food being.
google avatar

Stephanie L.

Yelp
I was in a wedding in August and they had their rehearsal dinner here! It was the perfect spot. They shut down the restaurant for our party. We had cocktail hour outside in the little alley way next to the restaurant and the wait staff came around with apps - cheese and rice balls! Everything was delicious. For dinner it was like 4 courses. We had a salad and 3 different kinds of pasta, an entree, and dessert! So tasty. I loved everything. The staff was so attentive and the service was impeccable. Very cute aesthetic. It's small and cozy. I recommend this spot for an event and I can't wait to come back try it for dinner!

TAmi S.

Yelp
Found this amazing gem of a restaurant! The food deserves 10^* The service was amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant! Loved the food!
google avatar

Nisha C.

Yelp
I really shouldn't be leaving a review because I feel that I didn't get a real experience here. I say this because not only am I a vegetarian, but I also came here with a large party of about 12 people. Since I was not the one who planned this, I can say with confidence, that this is NOT the place to go to with a large group (unless you plan on reserving the whole restaurant). Only 3 vegetarian options on the whole menu, and of those options, my BF and I shared a plate of Gnocchi. It was delicious. I also love that this place is BYOB. While I will not be coming back, I would recommend to all non-vegetarians.

Amy D.

Yelp
The perfect neighborhood Italian restaurant. The food is always excellent with a mix of classics and unique dishes as well as a great selection of specials. The service is excellent (especially Giulio) and the ambience is cozy and fun. I go to Aroma for date nights, family dinner, girls night out and everything in between and it is always perfect. Being a BYO is the cherry on top!
google avatar

Rula R.

Yelp
Very cute little place for date nights. Food was absolutely delicious. Portions for apps are a little small but that's ok. It's BYOB and I love BYOB. I would definitely come back again.

S S.

Yelp
We went to aroma for our reservation. They had about four tables not bussed. There were no bus people in sight. We were just about to bus our own table when somebody picked up one dish at a time. Finally, we sat 35 minutes past our reservation and other than a fork and knife, nobody paid attention to us, put glasses on the table, or bread, or wine glasses, and then it started to rain. They brought people into the restaurant, but continue to ignore us. We gave it 10 more minutes. And then we left. While we waited, we saw food, swimming in oil and weren't really particularly excited to eat it anyway. I would go next-door to Pulia. It is absolutely fabulous.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious quaint BYO in Washington Squre West where the options for great Italian dishes aren't hard to find. Ristorante Aroma definitely holds its own in the neighborhood though! We reserved the last table available last minute on a Friday night. (Highly recommend calling in advance!) We were greeted with a big smile immediately by Sherri. I enjoyed conversations about our mutual love for Capri, Italy with her. The hospitality given by her and the service by our kind, well informed professional waiter remained impeccable and warm the entire visit! The staff is awesome here! We started with a basket of their wonderful warm and crisp house bread served with tasty roasted red pepper spread. We couldn't get enough! We then moved to the truffle potatoes, which were insane!! They were perfectly fried and flavored so well. The mushroom taste was obvious, but not overpowering. The leftover sauce that remained on the plate was good for dipping that bread into long after the potatoes were gone. We also indulged in their gnocchi trio (lobster, pesto and pomodoro) because it was just too difficult to choose one. All were well LOVED. Soft and large hand rolled gnocchi. The sauces were all amazing! The table also ordered the Tortelloni Al Tartufo, which is pasta stuffed with truffle and ricotta, topped with arugula, wild mushrooms, and shaved parmigiano reggiano with a touch of cream, demiglace and truffle oil. The pasta itself was very light delicate and the interior as hearty. The Tortelloni was garnish very well. The pasta was authentic and tasted homemade because well, it is. And you can certainly tell. For dessert the kiddos went to town on a deconstructed cannoli. A fun twist on a classic. Meal was wonderful. Service was spectacular. Environment was lovely. They always have tempting daily specials and fun themed nights such as: Italian Tapas Tuesdays Every Tuesday 4:30 to 10:00Bring your wine; share Italian small plates. Weather permitting, dine outdoors Nonna's Sunday Dinner Dine Sundays 1:00 to 10:00 braciole, meatballs, short ribs, & hearty sauce Bring a bottle of red and your appetite. They also give 10% your bill when you show same day theater tickets. There was a birthday party happening and another one being planned meticulously. Seems like a great place to host a special dinner. *Just a heads up, some may think the prices are high for the portion size.....it's quality not quantity here. I cannot wait to return after our upcoming trip to Italy and share photos with Sherri and enjoy some authentic Italian I'll be craving upon returning to the states.

Yelp
So my cousin from London and his New Zealand friend visits Philly so I want to wow them with Philly food scenes.. they wanted Italian and immediately I thought if cafe aroma- great food, intimate and great prices. So we had reservations for 5. four adults plus toddler. We were welcomed with high chair and one of the restaurant managers doted on my daughter. She got her a delicious plate of speghetti with red sauce and a baby spoon- my baby inhaled the food- afterwards got her a dessert of tiramisu cookies that can dissolve in milk- great for my baby. As for us grown ups, the food and service was impeccable. I enjoyed my meal, especially the arincini and garlic knots. They can accommodate big parties and have outdoor seating. This is my go to spot for visitors. BYOB

Yelp
My fiance and I have been here about 3 times for dinner now and each time was delicious. The Space: 9/10 Small byo but the decor is nice and welcoming, a very intimate space so it is perfect for date night, however we have seen a couple larger parties (i.e 6-8 people) fit comfortably. It can get a little loud due to the small space but it never really bothered us. The Food : 10/10 My fiance got one the best steaks he has had in a long time here on our first visits. He still talks about it to this day and that was over a year ago. His second visit he got the lamb and the last time we went he had the chicken. All three times he was very pleased with the meal and each time the dishes were cooked perfectly. I got the gnocchi the first time and the tortellini on my second and third visit. The only thing that I think I would have changed was a little more salt in the tortellini dish on my last visit. That is LITERALLY the only thing I would change and it was easily remedied by adding a bit of salt to taste that was in a shaker at the table. (keep in mind, I love salt and probably over salt my food). We got dessert each time we were there and they were all fantastic, we have probably tried every dessert they have by now and they are all delicious. The Price: A little pricey for the byo scene but nothing out of the ordinary. I think it is worth it for the meal

RoseMarie A.

Yelp
What an amazing restaurant! Truly authentic fare from owner Tony's Napolitan roots. Service from Giulio was terrific, even for our large group. The panzanella starter was a treat. The branzino special was terrific and super fresh. Veal dishes were all delicious. The various pasta dishes were all well received by our group. Gnocchi was homemade and delicious. My son inhaled them! Desserts and gelato were fantastic. Truly authentic, fresh and delicious. Definitely will return!!
google avatar

Jacklin A.

Yelp
Fantastic food in a really cute atmosphere, and the fact that it's BYO is a huge plus. The gnocchi were outstanding and unlike any ive ever had (they're huge). The grilled squid was also excellent. Highly recommend coming here - it's tiny and intimate so makes for a perfect date night spot!

Michael M.

Yelp
Don't pass this one by! Quaint, quiet, foodie spot with personality. Premier service and dedication to the craft of providing you with a taste not to be forgotten. We will be back and often!
google avatar

Sabrina M.

Yelp
$115 of pure disappointment. We ordered the caprese salad to start, which was their special of the night. The mozzarella and tomato were flavorless. If you've ever had fresh mozzarella, and I'm talking FRESH, the taste is a creamy melt in your mouth goodness. This was not it. We ordered another special of the night that was even worse than our starter; the veal was gray, slathered with a white gelatinous sauce--a texture that suggested the sauce might have been canned. We also ordered the Antonio pizza, which is topped with prosciutto, arugula, and oil. It was the driest pizza I've ever eaten. Giving them one last shot, we ordered the pistachio cake for dessert. The pistachio cake seemed to be an angel-like cake with cannoli filling. On brand with the rest of our meal, the pistachio cake left more to be desired; it simply lacked flavor. The only thing we enjoyed was the wine we brought with us.
google avatar

Marco M.

Yelp
Atmosphere was nice. Food was ok. My wife liked her pasta with crab. The salad she ordered (I forget the name) was rather boring- lettuce and tomato and two tiny pieces of garlic bread. I loved the grilled romaine salad minus the meat but it was pricy for a small portion. The artichoke appetizer really paled in comparison to Misi in Brooklyn and, of course, the Jewish Ghetto in Rome. The eggplant appetizer had a very tasty sauce but was a bit heavy handed on the cheese.

Yelp
Came here for a birthday brunch and had a decent time. No one was there but us, but we did have a big table. It's BYOB for brunch which is great! I've never been to an italian restaurant for brunch so it was a little sad not being able to have any hot sauce with eggs but i sucked it up. red pepper flakes made up for it. i got the eggs benedict with proscuitto and it was okay! i wish there was more hollandaise sauce but the egg was cooked perfectly. i liked how the bread was toasted as well. the potatoes, i wasn't the biggest fan of. it felt like there were more shredded onions than potatoes in there. i've never had proscuitto with eggs benedict but i feel as though the consistency was a bit chewy which was different. i don't think i'll come back for brunch but i'll definitely be back for dinner!

Yelp
We loved this place when it was on Pine. Fantastic food, perfect service, and great ambience. Now? Meh. The food is still good, but the decor in the new place is sub-par, and there is zero atmosphere. The service was good, considering how busy they were on a recent Friday night. The biggest issue? The NOISE. I'm not one to usually complain about the noise level in a bust restaurant, but this was OFF the charts. So noisy that I fear for the hearing of the wait staff. This place needs to pay some serious attention to noise mitigation measures. It's that bad.

Yelp
Our group went here during restaurant week and had a really wonderful experience! The waiter was fun and engaging and the food was great! Also love that it is BYOB. Definitely will return to check out their regular menu!

Yelp
We decided to make our Valentine's Day reservations here, and it was an excellent choice! We were greeted and sat promptly upon arrival, and all of the staff were friendly and cheerful. The grilled calamari appetizer was excellent, as it was flavorful and tender. Our entrees also did not disappoint, the vitello esmeralda came with a very generous portion of seafood, and the gnocchi mascarpone con aragosta was incredible. Desert was also delicious; the tiramisu as well as the strawberry pocket desert were both excellent. The food was very impressive, and our server, Angela, was also excellent. She provided great recommendations and was very pleasant and attentive. Thank you so much for a great Valentine's Day, we will be back!
