Yelp
Aroma Bar and Grill, also known as Aroma Cafe, stands out as the ultimate destination just off Sunset. The establishment boasts stunning LED lights that elevate the ambiance to an extraordinary and truly relaxing level. My routine often involves starting with a hookah before my meal, although I must admit that while the cost is a bit steep, the hookah attendants excel in their packing expertise. There is room for improvement, however, as the attentiveness of the hookah attendants sometimes falls short of expectations.
On occasions, seating arrangements place patrons in the hookah area even if they aren't partaking, resulting in the annoyance of unwanted smoke drifting from neighboring hookahs. This can be especially bothersome when you're not participating in the smoking experience yourself.
Turning to the culinary offerings, Aroma does not disappoint. I find myself consistently drawn to the Steak Sandwich, Kabob Plate, or various Shawarma options. Their hummus is undeniably excellent, although I must admit that their cucumber salad falls a bit short in comparison. While the prices lean towards the higher side, they are well-justified for a celebratory night out. The convenience of valet service enhances the dining experience, and the majority of servers exhibit mediocre vigilance, ensuring a satisfactory visit.
It's worth noting that Aroma has become a popular hotspot among the Russian and Armenian communities in the vicinity, contributing to a lively and bustling atmosphere. For those venturing to dine in Hollywood, I wholeheartedly recommend Aroma Bar and Grill.
Positives: Delectable cuisine, commendable service, impressive hookah offerings
Negatives: Slightly on the expensive side, occasional lapses in server attentiveness, high volume of patrons
