This place is amazing! The food was delicious, the atmosphere wonderful, and the service was impeccable. Melissa was our server. She was friendly, knowledgeable about the dishes and specials, and very nice. Irma also tended to us and made us feel like family. She served us with such kindness and respect. This was such an excellent experience, everything that going out to eat should be. I highly recommend!!!

Yelp
Really good friends took me there for dinner. They were very excited about, but it was a strike out... It was a Monday night, the place was empty so they could have spoiled us rotten. It seems to me they are aiming for fine service, but a lot of training is needed. I asked for one of the specials which came with a couple of sides; I said that I would skip the sides and the waitress (literally) argued with me and insisted (twice) that I should take the sides because the dish was going to cost the same. I just stared at her and repeated myself, "no sides please". In general, service was average, nothing to write home about. The ambiance was ok.... Clean, comfortable noise level. Going back to striving for fine service... Why, in God's name, were the manager(s) sitting in the dinning room with laptops where diners could see them? ... and then another group of employees hanging out at the bar staring at you like if you were a strange creature? The food, well this was the biggest disappointment... I asked for the Branzino, it was served headless in butterfly cut (no problem there); however, it was small and skinny as a tilapia and absolutely overcooked. They just killed the dish! ...and two sides to go with it.... My guess is that the fish was so small, they needed to force the sides on me to make the plate look better. The ceviche was great! My advise, stick to the culinary techniques, ingredients and flavors that you really know, but more importantly, stick with a menu that makes you unique and true to who you are. I have had some spectacular Causas, Jalea de Mariscos and Chaufas. Apply yourself, create, deconstruct and be unique. Good luck!

Yelp
This odd location is surprisingly good!! The ceviches, jalea de pescado, lomo saltado, all good. Although a bit pricey, but I do know that the quality of the items is there for this establishment. One of the ceviches was a bit too salty, but all in all, pretty impressed with the freshness of the dishes. A bit small for the prices you are paying, and more if you upgrade to corvina from Swai or Tilapa fish. Great ambiance, place looks neat and clean.

Yelp
First time. Quaint spot on US1. Nice decor. The service was very good. Server attentive to our needs. But more importantly, the food was fabulous and fresh!! Ordered the Ceviche 3 Ajies (picture not shown). 3 different styles of ceviche to allow you a taste of each flavor. I ordered it with fish only (Corvina) instead of Swai because Swai is farm raised from Asia (cheap) and known to be generally unhealthy. I was happy to pay the upcharge. Plentiful serving. If in a party of 3 or more, great sharing appetizer. It's a lot of food. My dinner plate was Corvina Gratinada con camarones y Cangrejo (Corvina, shrimp, crab) in a delicious sauce (see pic). This was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Enjoyed my visit and food so much, I'll be back with friends and family to celebrate my birthday in August. Guess what I be having for dinner? I'd certainly recommend this location as my experience was worth the 5 star rating.

Yelp
WOW! This is definitely a place that I would come again and recommend. The service is spectacular and the food is amazing. All of the dishes that we had were great. The portion sizes were large and there was so many unique dessert options. I will say the flan wasn't the best one I've had everything else however was GREAT. it's one of those places that the service itself makes you want to come back again. It's also very pretty inside perfect for an intimate birthday dinner or any other celebration. The parking is limited but there is parking around the block if you are willing to walk and also valet option as well.

Yelp
This has become our go-to date night spot, my wife and I absolutely love the cuisine here. Our favorite appetizer is the Leche de Tigre (now called Vuelve a Vida)--it's packed with bold lime flavor and is absolutely delicious. For the entrée, I always recommend the Lomo Saltado (a hearty dish of rice, chopped sirloin, tomatoes, and onions) it's both flavorful and satisfying. Melissa has been our server on our last two visits, and she's been wonderfully kind and attentive each time!

Yelp
A real hidden gem in Palmetto Bay. We sat outside and enjoyed a cool Miami night. Our server was extremely attentive and took her time with us telling our table about the menu and her favorite items while also making excellent suggestions. To start, the ceviche was incredible. So fresh and delicious. Any of the dishes with the huancaina option are a must, our table had the fettuccine and risotto options. The arroz con mariscos was also a table favorite and the dessert was perfect to seal the deal.
google avatar

Yelp
One of my favorite places, I would say one of the best Peruvian restaurants! Their ceviche and anticucho is delicious. The service great and the ambiance is nice.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazingggggg no other word can describe this place. Great service, bottomless mimosas are a big plus as well. I ordered the fried calamari, bottomless mimosas and churrasco risotto. Very large portions!! Steak was perfectly cooked; Risotto super creamy. I love it. I enjoy the outdoor seating every time I come to the Palmetto Bay location.

Yelp

Yelp
ent to eat here on a date and had the best DINNER! We had the copas aromas and it was delicious and we had the arroz chaufa con mariscos. The service was so friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Can't recommend this place enough. Mirella and Laurie were amazing. Thank you !

Yelp
Favorite Peruvian Food in the MIA!!! ^.^ Delicious, fresh, and great portions of food! We ordered the Lomo Saltado and Risotto with Lomo Saltado and both cooked to perfection. The risotto had a Peruvian twist with a cheesy creamy sauce. Our server Sandy was a sweet heart and answered all our questions with any issue. The environment was modern with a beautiful bar/kitchen in the center of the restaurant. The music was good too very modern vibes. Highly recommend! Please Note: The parking is very limited and is parallel parking. They do have a valet in the front available. There is a shopping center near by you can park in and won't have any issues.

Yelp
EverythingDelicious. We order the ceviche all types. The food is always fresh and come out fast. The staff is very friendly and the place is clean. I can recommend this location.

Yelp
We went for a birthday dinner and we were seated promptly. We were seated outside and the ambiance was very nice. Our server brought over some water while we looked at the menu. We shared a platter that had seafood, tostones and ceviche. It was delicious. For my entree I had the fried snapper and it was really good. The rest of the entree looked good too. For dessert, we shared the key lime mini pie and a chocolate mini cake too. It was really good.

Yelp
Came yesterday for lunch with the besties. First. Parking is terrible. They have valet but we found a spot. Cute corner restaurant. Inside is comfortable. The food is 5/5 stars. We tried new things and were not disappointed. The la jalieta maki roll was amazing. The flavors were so good and the lightly fried seafood was delicious. We also had the 3 ajies mixed ceviche and were up charged 2x based on the fact we wanted mixed and then type of fish we wanted. Not listed on the menu but then again... Service was subpar. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Bc the food makes this a 5 star place. The waitress was not good. Especially since we didn't speak to her in Spanish. No refills on waters unless we flagged her down and asked for it. Had to flag her down for everything. And most things we asked for she looked at us confused with a dirty look. She waited on other tables just fine. Not ours. Ordered coffee and dessert. No milk or cream unless I flagged her down again for it. Worst part we ordered pechuga de pollo to go and it came stapled shut but when we got home missing black beans. So chicken w dry rice. Check your food if you order to go and steer clear of the older waitress lady. We'll be back but hopefully a better experience.

Yelp
Always great food! i love the lomo saltado, anticuchos, and vuelve a la vida from this place!! Service is always point. Most servers are incredibly nice and polite. The place and ambiance are nice, but the parking sucks. They do have valet parking, but i dont like people driving my Porsche, so i like parking it myself.
google avatar

Yelp
We made reservations and were seated promptly, which was a great start. Our server greeted us quickly, but when we asked for recommendations, the only response was, "everything is good." While we understand that sentiment, we were hoping for more specific guidance. Unfortunately, because we didn't speak Spanish, the service was inattentive and rude. The food was very underwhelming--maybe it was just my order (quinoa tuna tartar and chaufa tradicional). While the bathroom was a mess (water and paper towels on the floor), the restaurant's ambiance was nice.
google avatar

Lizzy M.

Yelp
I'll give 1k stars to this restaurant specifically. The service was A1, we were celebrating my nephew graduation and the waitresses even helped us to record the toast we made Table for 11 people, we had a blast we all really enjoyed every single plate. Thanks for making that day memorable. Definitely recommended this restaurant in the US1.
google avatar

Amby S.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the food. The restaurant is really small on the inside so the space is limited when you're walking around. Great ambiance. you do not have to be super dressed up to be here. I got the linguine pesto and they had a risotto option but I am glad I went with the pesto. The only thing was that our meat tasted a little questionable which is why I'm giving the place a 4 instead of 5 stars.

Yelp
Aromas is consistently Good! We usually go to the one in Coral Gables, but today we went to the one in Palmetto Bay and everything was amazing! Sandi and Claudia and all the staff were amazing. So friendly and attentive. It seems everyone is well trained! Loved my food and the experience.

Yelp
We came here to celebrate my daughter's farewell back to college and I have to say it didn't disappoint at all. Everything was delish. The staff was great! I had the Chaufas with steak and it was perfection! Definitely coming back for date night!

Yelp
We were a party of 3. The 1st table we sat at had the air vents directly hitting us and it quite uncomfortable so we asked to move. others who sat there had the same issue. The next table was under another vent not blowing in the manner of the first one, but we then dealt with having to scoot up away from the constant drip from the condensation falling down. These were not major issue. The issue was the waitress was in the middle of taking our order when she stopped to address the table next to us who sat after us. She was apologetic but I find it rude to have stopped taking our order for theirs. Two others groups sat after us. Our drinks order was quick to come out. But, We must of asked at least 4 times for water. Appetizer were great. However, they failed to bring our main meal out together. Yet others around us were served after arrriving after us With NO issues. They again said sorry that it would be 5min before my daughter food would come out. Seemed to be much longer. Unacceptable to bring one plate and not the other. really, you eat while the other just watches. This food was good and quality is well portioned. I ask for a discount after I mentioned we did not want dessert. They offered a free dessert. The manager did not provide any discounts. he should of provide a credit of some kind. I find it to be unacceptable for the turnaround of our food, service, and to deal with having to see others receiving all of their party's meal; While we sat there waiting, Although, the food is good, the service was a sore eye. We will not be back.

Scapegoat S.

Yelp
The food, service, and ambiance were all excellent. I highly recommend this place. Usually, high end places don't serve good quantity, but we were pleasantly surprised here and ended up taking a lot of food home!

Yelp
Amazing ceviche, great service, can't believe I haven't tried this place before, great vibe , now added to my must have spots , so good!!!

Selene S.

Yelp
Sandy and Irama were both amazing from the minute we were seated. The attention was top notch I have to say for a Sunday night the service and experience was amazing. We will be back very soon!

Yelp
Melida was so sweet and helpful and the food and violinist were also amazing! The had lomo and two do the desserts and they were so rich and flavorful.

Tanique R.

Yelp
Really enjoyed my last two visits to Aromas del Peru. The grilled pulpo is one of the best I've had. The sides were all good as well. The churassco was great on first visit but was a little thin and tough to eat on second visit. But overall great experience and nice to have locally in the area. Will definitely visit again.
google avatar

Belinda B.

Yelp
Had an appointment in the area..wanted a good drink and appetizer. Unclear about the entrance. Sat outside.. mistake one..they need fans to circulate the air and keep flies/gnats away. Ordered Pisco sour - good and refreshing And pulpo Al Olivio - overdressed...needed some crackers or something.. complimentary corn and sauce..but I don't understand how to enjoy the sauce..there's nothing to dip into the sauce.. Nice waitress but it was an underwhelming experience.

Yelp
Always a 5 star at this location of Aromas Del Peru. We got there an hour before closing which I always try to be there before as I don't like to be rushed to make anyone work more than they have to. Anyhow, we got there at 9pm and Merida was our waitress and she went above and beyond explaining to us the menu and asking what we like or don't like. We never felt rushed and she recommended the perfect appetizer and dish for us. We will definitely be back for more and very happy with the food and service.

Victor R.

Yelp
The food was amazing!!! The ceviche was fresh and delicious. We had a parrilla of seafood and was enough for three . We sat outside and the fans and lights at the table made it very nice. Our waitress Melissa made sure we had a great dinner experience. Will come back soon for another feas

Kim T.

Yelp
Amazing place for Peruvian food!!! I ordered the ceviche cholo power & the risotto di mare with corvina. It was absolutely amazing! The ceviche was fresh, citrusy, and the quality of the fish was amazing. Karla was my server and she was attentive and efficient. 100000/10 i will be coming back here!
google avatar

Tiffany L.

Yelp
Aromas is a hit whenever my coworkers and I come to dine. The service is top-notch and there's an option for everyone's palate - pastas, risottos, sushi, stir-fry, seafood, meat, chicken, etc. To start - ceviche of course! It's fresh and cold and great way to kick off an amazing meal. If you're willing to explore a little more, order their anticuchos. It comes out on a hot plate and grilled - it also comes with that Peruvian spicy sauce, great compliment if you can handle a little bit of heat. My favorites are their Aji de Gallina and Lomo Saltado. The Aji de Gallina's shredded chicken in that warm yellow pepper sauce on a bed of rice melts in your mouth. If you love sauce and parmesan, order this! As for their Lomo, its consistently delicious every time. Their fries come out the right amount of crispy and the meat is tender. Oh and I love having my meal with their white or red sangria! Can't wait to go back and try more dishes.
google avatar

Onesha L.

Yelp
I order from here very frequently. The quality of food, and speed of delivery makes it worth it all the time. I haven't been to the location but for sure I believe the food and service would be just as good, if not better than delivery.
google avatar

Lourdes G.

Yelp
Food was excellent. The ceviche delicious. Service by Karla & Melissa amazing. We celebrated our 26 wedding anniversary and we're pleasantly surprised with a dessert plate.
google avatar

Mulan Shan Yu O.

Yelp
Considering rice is relatively cheap and the veggies along with it, the price here is in the higher end. The vibe is nice but I feel like there wasn't much genuine Peruvian food. As you can see here I ordered an Asian dish which could be found at any Chinese take out for half the price. The service was good and the staff was really accommodating. I do think the menu fell short of authenticity. There was live music which is always a plus. There is only one bathroom which is uni and it's not checked for cleanliness frequently enough. There was a large puddle of what I hope was only water on the floor. Unfortunately I don't think this is a good presentation of genuine Peruvian food.

Niurka P.

Yelp
Descarados. Sirviendo comida vieja a las personas que ordenan take out. Ordened una jalea que parecia y savia de plastico. Estero Que no me de food poisoning, de lo contrario habra consequencias.
google avatar

Cecilia A.

Yelp
This place is delicious! We ordered take out, and it was very quick which means service when dining in should also be quick. Going for a friends birthday next weekend and we can't wait! The place is beautiful too! Indoor and outdoor seating

Antonio G.

Yelp
The food was amazing as always, and the server was awesome and professional. Only complaint I have is that the table they sat us in was tucked away next to the bathroom... I wasn't exactly dressed to impress but I don't wear cheap stuff either and I was with my mother. That's the kind of crazy work you only see in movies where the restaurant is clearly trying to be snooty for no reason. Whether or not it was intentional, you shouldn't put a table RIGHT NEXT to a bathroom where you can hear children retching and plates banging and then have auto-gratuity on that table. That is just insulting.

Alyssa H.

Yelp
Most amazing Peruvian food in Miami!! Always authentic and delicious the specials are simply divine and really take you back to Peru. Their chicha morada is by far the best I have ever had, not even in Peru have I had better. The service is also always 5 stars and I look forward to coming back soon!

Yelp
Amazing service we were assisted by a lady named melida she was super helpful. As for the food it was good and well seasoned and the dessert was amazing. And the ambience was amazing family friendly and amazing music.

Marla H.

Yelp
Aromas Del Peru At US1 used to be our favorite Peruvian restaurant but today everything changed. We have not been there for a while but we were craving good food and we decided to go there with some friends. I don't know if they changed the owner or even worse the cook because it was not the same. My husband ordered lomo saltado and it was salty. I ordered Tacu tacu and the rice was undercooked and the chicken had no flavor. But the worst part was when we had to pay. Our server , an older lady, very nice until we payed less tip that she wanted. She got upset and argumentative and condescending. It was not polite at all for a person that is supposed to be nice to his clients. Never had an experience like that before and we are never going back there. Tips are not mandatory to begin with and people should not argue with customers about that and it was not that we did not give her a tip but in her eyes was not enough. Incredible.

Maylin C.

Yelp
Awesome service. Maria Jose our waitress was a superior customer service. Offer a selection of wine and suggestions in the food. We were very pleased. A secure come back.
google avatar

Christopher W.

Yelp
We have eaten here twice, always pleased. Large portions and good food. The sushi options are interesting but probably not what I would recommend, bring a bit bland and probably not what you would want from their menu. Wait staff was friendly, though not entirely bilingual (spotty English). Drinks were great, sangria served with dry ice to give the carafe a neat smoky effect. Prices on the higher side but worthwhile.

Johanna A.

Yelp
My daughter, who has a medical alert service dog, was denied entrance to the inside dinning room. Upon arrival the host stated that we could only accommodate us in the outside dining area because the dog was not allowed inside. We had a party of 12 waiting for us inside and a seat was already reserved for my daughter to sit comfortably with her service dog. I tried explaining that this dog is my daughter's medical device just like a wheelchair is for some, but he rudely stated that it was not his decision but corporate's. I called corporate the next day...no one answered...I left a message and still waiting to hear back. It's been almost 2 weeks. When you decide to open a restaurant and open same to the public...the least you can do is educate yourself AND your staff on how to handle these situations. Do better Aromas Del Peru. https://www.ada.gov/resources/service-animals-faqs/

Yelp
Food - I love the lomo saltado and almost all Peruvian places , here is not as I expected But the aji de gallina was good Service is good on weekend days is too full on weekends Ambiance is a nice little restaurant good decor

Katherine P.

Yelp
Usually visit the location on 88st and decided to give this location a try as its closer to home. We had an early dinner and sat outside as it was a nice day. We ordered an arroz chaufa tradicional with beef along with two ceviche clasico mixtos. Usually the arroz chaufa is the utmost level of flavor and freshness at the other location we go to. Sadly the arroz chaufa here was not fresh and was not enjoyable for us to eat as the rice was hard and not as fluffly as it usually is. The flavor was just not there in terms of the rice. Also since we were outdoors the server didn't come for a while to check in on us so it took longer for us to get the sauce for the rice. The ceviches were pretty good. They had the acidity and juice which we enjoy from Aromas.
google avatar

Antita B.

Yelp
First time here today, and I will definitely be back. Food was delicious and fresh! I had the classic mixed ceviche with medium spice, my aunt had their special of the day which was shrimp risotto dish with fish, she loved it! I had a taste of my aunts dish and I agreed, it was delicious! The staff was attentive and prompt with service, they could of been a little more personable and nicer though. The restaurant has inside and outdoor dining, and looks open, inviting with beautiful decor. I definitely recommend this place and will be back!
google avatar

Maria A.

Yelp
The food was delicious. The service was also good. It tastes like homemade food. The mix of spices, and fresh ingredients was a surprise. The place is small but very pleasant. We would definitely go back. Try the sudado de pescado and the mashed potatoes are superb!
