This is the second night we are visiting Annecy.
We both took the menu option which allowed us to have a smaller sample of the starter, one fish course, one meat course and one cheese or dessert course.
I ordered the semi smoked salmon with tardy beetroot as my starter. It was very delicious, the salmon was just right, not too salty and the beets complements the salmon well. Good starter.
For the fish course I had the lobster ravioli. The lobster was fresh and the emulsion of fish bisque was tasty and light. I wasn’t a fan of lentils though so I left it on the plate.
The meat course I had the deer fillet. It was a bit tough for me but I swapped it with my partner’s beef fillet and it was beefy and cooked to perfection.
The highlight for me was the desserts, I ordered the poached pear which came with caramel butter ice cream and my partner had apple tart which had thinly sliced apple on light puff pastry, cooked to order. The amount of food was just right for me.
