Arôme Bakery - Duke Street

I stopped by this cozy bakery in Marylebone one morning while exploring the neighborhood. I ordered a matcha latte and, of course, their famous Honey Butter Toast. The toast is the absolute highlight of the menu perfectly crunchy and sweet; it truly lives up to the hype. There is usually a queue out the door because it’s so popular, but the service is efficient and the atmosphere is very pleasant.

Visited Arome Bakery on Duke Street and all the pastries were so nice ,fresh, flaky and full of flavour. The honey butter toast is a must-recommend, perfectly balanced and not too sweet. The pistachio escargot was good but needed more pistachio filling. Slightly overpriced, but still worth a visit for the quality.

Really good pastry! Definitely recommend the egg tart which is sooo smooth and creamy. The honey toast and vanilla brioche is great if you like something sweet. Would recommend to go before 3pm before most of them sold out….

U can already smell the pastries from outside and the range is just amazingly suitable for my Asian palette. Been to the Covent Garden store but first time here and the atmosphere is more calm here. Possible bc it was a weekday lunch time. Got the special pear kinako chestnut cream pastry but was surprised to find out the chestnut cream was only on the top layer 💔 but still amazing regardless. Only criticism is the extortionate price of it beinf £7.5. The gula Melaka (palm sugar) coconut bun has faint coconut flavour but still good. Nothing to criticise but wouldn’t get it again tho The best was actually the little almond financier. It was crunchy on the outside, so buttery and soft inside. I would buy 3 of these next time I see them they’re just that good Love their drink menu too even tho I didn’t get a drink. Have to come back for the tea blends and matcha

I’ve tasted puff‑pastry desserts all over Europe, but this place truly surprised me. It drew me in as I walked by, and the moment I tried the almond croissant, I knew it was on another level. I’ve eaten plenty of puff pastry in my life, yet none has ever moved me the way this one did. The flavor is simply exceptional—an easy 10/10.

True to its name, it was the scent that turned me back. I’d already walked all the way to the corner before the smell of sweet things baking pulled me round and sent me retracing my steps to Arôme. It’s a small café, but the service has that rare energy — personal, attentive, the kind that feels like I could be the owner and I really do care. A cut above. And so were the bakes. From café to café, bakery to bakery, so much can blur into the same-old, same-old. Not here. The cheese and tomato danish with pesto, the vegetarian quiche and the genuinely yum honey toast were delightful; not just a belly full. Only small gripe: the flat white was closer in size to a double espresso and could have been more generous. Still — this will be a regular stop whenever we’re in the area. Highly recommend for a hot-drink pit stop and a good pastry.

Feast with your eyes, such beautiful pastries. Tried the coconut bun, not very sweet and quite mild coconut flavoured would have loved a bit more. The monc blanc very well balanced woth the earthy Chestnut and sweet apple again not very sweet reccomend to the more adventurous.

By far one of the best bakeries I've ever been to. I'm French, I love pastries and their honey butter toast is amazing as well as their hot chocolate and pistachio escargot. The chocolate vanilla brioche is also delicious.
