So we came here for a lovely, late lunch. Authentic Italian food in a great location. The decor is elegant - great flat grey walls, high ceilings, dramatic light fixtures, comfortable seating, lots of space between tables and separate rooms for parties/groups.
I had the mussels to start. They were good - decent portion size, the tomato based broth was excellent. They bring these baked chick peas and bread to the table. In case you're wondering, the bottles on every table aren't decorative, they're olive oil for dipping your bread into.
For my main, I had the house made pappardelle with the duck ragout. Hearty and tasty. My dining companion had the risotto. It was exquisite! Creamy, perfect consistency, lemony with a few shrimp on it. I would definitely order that again. Topped off with a glass of Pinot Grigio and excellent service from beginning to end, definitely a place to return to!
