We absolutely loved this little gem! The food was beyond delicious — fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. The service was truly wonderful; the staff made us feel so welcome and treated us like family. They were extremely kind to our two young kids and went over the top to give them a great experience! The cozy, cute atmosphere made it the perfect place to start our day. It had such a warm, inviting vibe — you can just feel the love in the place. We ended up coming back two days in a row during our vacation because we couldn’t get enough! If you’re visiting the area, this is definitely a must-visit spot. We’re already looking forward to coming back on our next trip. It’s the kind of place that just stays with you. 💛

This place is amazing!! The food was soooo delicious, the owners are the most welcoming people you can meet, I highly recommend coming this place over any restaurants in the area!!! We love so much the music too!

Went here on a girls trip to eat breakfast and it was the amazing. The owner was so sweet, answered all our questions and even explained the menu since it was our first time there. The owner even plays on his guitar and sings songs, it was so beautiful! The atmosphere of the cafe was so cute, they have ceramic pieces you can buy for good prices. The food itself was so delicious, I ordered the number 6 crepe, it was my first time trying farmers cheese which they make fresh!! Definitely will be coming back!!

Came here with my friend and place was very cute and very nice. The owner was kind and greeted us. My friend ended up ordering an iced mocha latte. It did not taste like mocha at all. It tasted like milk, we were very disappointed but were looking forward to the crepes we ordered. The crepes went for around 14.50 which are pretty expensive but we didn’t really mind. The crepes came out and although they looked amazing they didn’t taste at all like Nutella. Mind you we ordered Nutella crepes. The only Nutella it had was the Nutella drizzle. We went to pay and my friend payed with card and he was very visually upset she left a card tip instead of a cash tip. Very disappointed with the food will not be coming back here.

Google
Around the world Cafe and Bakery it is a small family run place. It was beautifully decorated with Middle Eastern-style decor. They had a variety of delicious foods to choose from. We tried the Lamb Pirogues with onions and cream, and they were absolutely delicious! The breakfast crepes were okay, but the coffee left a bit of an aftertaste. We asked for a fresh pot, but unfortunately, it was burnt at the bottom. When we asked for our check, we were told to pay at the cashier. The owner came over and was rude when we asked for a clarification on a charge. That really changed the whole experience for us.

This place is gorgeous and totally stole my heart. Every little detail, especially the elegant China (like fancy plates and decor), had me feeling like I was dining in a high-end restaurant straight out of a movie—magnificent! As for the food, it was good, though the seasoning was a bit of a flavor rollercoaster for me (definitely not my typical takeout). But hey, I still had a blast and loved the atmosphere. I’ll be back soon—maybe next time, I’ll bring my taste buds along for the ride!

Google
A unique boutique breakfast and lunch restaurant that will take you back to the old European country with excellent service. Friendly folks who delight in serving you. Homemade desserts and European wines to treat the pallet. Take a stroll down from the beach to this truly amazing place. Live bossa nova style music drifts your mood to dance.

Yelp
Around the World Café is a true hidden gem. It's a sweet, family-run place where the service is impeccable and everything feels thoughtful and personal. The owner is not only an amazing chef but also plays beautiful guitar music, creating a warm and relaxing vibe--definitely a place to be enjoyed, not rushed. The food is homemade and full of intention. I had the smoked salmon crepes, and they were incredible--delicate, flavorful, and honestly some of the best I've had (even after a few trips to France!). My friend had the red bean and cilantro salad and loved the sweet-savory combo so much she asked for the recipe. My mom ordered the Greek omelet, loved it, and brought leftovers home. Even the bread is outstanding, and the attached bakery is just as amazing. Everything here is done with care. Can't recommend it enough. I wish we took pictures before but the food was so good we just went right in lol

Yelp
Delicious! Everything was so fresh and tasty!! We shared a savory and sweet crepe. Coffee was also great.

Yelp
Everything here is so delicious. Especially the borscht. The service could be a bit quicker, but we still love coming here for brunch!

Yelp
It's been a while since we have been here and unfortunately we didn't like it as well this time. Still a very interesting menu. I ordered the Brie and crab crepes. But I sent it back because in my opinion there was an ammonia whiff to the crab. I actually spit out a bite into my napkin. The host came out to say it was a new "jar" of crab and he felt there was no problem. Maybe I just have a sensitive nose but I've been eating fish, crab, etc for many years. I can only remember one other time I had to send back a dish and it was for the same reason. An ammonia smell. At any rate after trying to convince me it was fine, he did rustle up a very nice Greek omelette which was delicious. The other reason for only 3 stars this time is that I thought the pricing was high. This could account for why a similar place nearby was packed with a waiting line while this place had only a small number of customers.

Yelp
If you are looking for authentic central European food. This is the place. Family run husband ,wife, and son cafe in Melbourne.Very cozy and you can feel the love. I was suggested the veal pierogies by one of the fellow diners. They did not disappoint. Soft pillowy pasta with savory veal and spices. Also, grabbed a plain crepe with honey. So good. Around 25.00 for the food and a fresh squezzed O.J.

Yelp
Our little secret and tucked in restaurant. Family owned and operated. Friendly, service is always awesome. The food itself is off the chain. My son and I always have a meal here when he's in town.

Yelp
Very good service and the food was delicious. Sat outside as the day was sunny and breezy and the staff went beyond the call of duty making us feel welcomed and pampered.

Yelp
The food was amazing. Probably the best breakfast food we've had in the area. The owner is Ukrainian and his wife is Lithuanian, they combine their backgrounds to make amazing dishes. He took time with us and explained the menu and also showed us what their different dishes looked like. They also have over 50 different fresh bakery items. The service was very welcoming, the owner treated and welcomed each person individually. The ambiance is very laid back and casual. There were locals who were here, but he treated us as if we were locals. We will be coming back!

Yelp
Lovely owner and service was wonderful! The treat was watching the owner play a song on his guitar. The food was fantastic, esp the latte we ordered...so good that my friend and I wanted to order a second cup! I got the duck crepe and shared onion and potato pierogi together...it was all soooooo delicious! We ended up eating everything and even ordered a few sweet treats to go. Would definitely come back here again!!

Yelp
Found this little gem and it was in a word, WONDERFUL! Love the quaint atmosphere. Our Food was absolutely delicious! The staff is courtesy and friendly! Definitely a must visit whether local or on vacation !

Yelp
I wrote a review 9 years ago! Glad to see everything is still amazing as before. The owner is so nice! This place brings you to a happy place. Great food and pastry and welcoming hospitality. Not to mention a smiley face on a latte! Thank you for another amazing experience. I hope to come back again soon when I visit from Rhode Island.

Francesco M.

Yelp
A really good place if you want really good cappuccino and good breakfast. The staff is amazing and polite. They also have really bakery goods...

Christina G.

Yelp
Edit to 1 star as I saw another review on here if the owner flipping off another person over parking. Search the reviews for the video. Parking Beachside can be tight. I just watched the owner of this business (which I've met before) stand outside in the parking lot, being the biggest parking weasel over spots. Visibly staring down customers parking in the lot that weren't going into his restaurant, getting on the phone with (presumably) towing companies, and sending out his employee to move their golf cart so close to a vehicle so a car that parked in the parking lot (that went to another business) can't get out now. So passive aggressive and shameful. Ps when we ate here previously, the food was very bland. Typical European food. Beachside Cafe is way better.

Yelp
I received a gift certificate for Christmas. I had no idea this restaurant existed until the intern on my team shared this location and certificate with me. I also realized my friend lived right around the corner. The food was excellent! My Hubbs, friend and I decided to give it a try. My friend had the pierogies, and I had the apple, Brie and apple crepes. The owner played music between rushes. We stayed for a while and had the best time. They have fresh baked goods too. My friend couldn't believe it is right around the corner from him. We will all go back for sure.

Yelp
Went in for toast and jam. Only serves rye bread and "bitter brown bread". Cute lil place that I couldn't enjoy because they only offer rye bread and the server said also brown bread, what's brown bread, well it's kind of bitter & I'm not sure how to describe it. Great. Thank you. Not for us. Lots of yummy deserts on display. High prices. Coffee was good. Can't really give a fair assessment but two stars is acceptable for my personal experience.

Yelp
Definitely worth the visit! Owned by husband and wife. The atmosphere and service is fantastic. The owner plays guitar. His wife is an excellent cook. There are plenty of choices on the menu and all absolutely delicious food. I recommend this cafe to all. Love it. PS. Price is very reasonable .

Yelp
Experience started with a warm welcome, lots of smiles and incredibly kind service. The food came out fast, hot and packed with flavor and the ambiance of the restaurant had such a loving family style energy that was wonderful to dine in with. I will certainly be coming back here.

Deborah W.

Yelp
What an amazing experience. I got the crepes and my husband got the California omelet-delicious!! We received a serenade by the owner who is an expert guitarist & excellent service. This will definitely be a regular stop on future trips here. Thank you for the unexpected birthday treat!!

Yelp
How wonderful to enjoy an amazing breakfast Around the World Cafe again. Food is always so delicious. Such an interesting menu. Something for everyone. Lovely to see the boys getting more mature and growing up so fast. Both are so handsome. Just like Dad. If you love interesting, unique family owned restaurants, you need to go support this amazing restaurant.

Yelp
We visited this establishment with family as we were visiting from out of town. I had no idea what to expect. Upon entering we were greeted by a young man (Constantine) with some impressive manners and very well spoken. We were a party of 5 and were promptly seated. The service was nothing less than exceptional...Thank you Constantine. I'm assuming it was dad that also assisted who was also very kind. The kindness was both refreshing and exceeded any expectation we could have ever had. Typically when we visit we stay in our general area. We will be sure to venture out to this restaurant to try more menu items. On this trip my boyfriend had the pierogies, I had 1/2 portion of Ronnie's salad and the rest of our party devoured various crepes. Not a single complaint from this table...very high praises.

Yelp
Originally I loved this cafe and I'm always rooting for smaller shops. Some friends were in town and we thought maybe we could bring our guests there and let them have a taste of 'home' while in town with us. They were very sadly disappointed. I know sometimes we have our off days so I typically try to wait a couple visits before making a judgement. I can't though with how upset my guests returned to me and how they were treated. My guests and husband are all Belarusian, Ukrainian or Russian. They said the food was missing important key ingredients. They weren't told or given the option to choose a different meal. Weren't warned about the missing items. They were just presented the meals as if nothing was wrong. When confronted about it they said it was like an episode of Nightmare Kitchens with the arguing and never taking accountability. The bill came to 250. None of it was corrected, comped, apologized for. Please, if you're going there to taste Ukrainian food don't let this be your only try. It is not representative to the kind, beautiful, hospitable people that I know or the really great food that they make. Maybe in the somewhat far future I'll try them again and hope for better but I'm really hesitant to even do that. :(

Yelp
Food is incredible and service is very quick when when it's busy. Everything is homemade and delicious. The inside is very cute and feels European. The prices are a little high but the quality of the food is worth it. I've been thinking of the pierogis since I left!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a top notch place for breakfast. Ingredients were very fresh. We both had various egg breakfasts and it was perfect. And the homemade bread is a nice side as well as the coffee with the cream foamed into it. The owners are almost too nice! Always checking to see if you need anything. This is not the cheapest breakfast in town, but the best.

Yelp
Everything about this cute little spot was exceptional -- from the food to the customer service to the overall ambiance. The omelets are a MUST HAVE, so yummy and delightful. The crepes and coffee were out of this world and I will miss this place so much as I travel back home to Cali. COME, you will leave with a full belly and heart

Yelp
I came here for my birthday 4/12 to have breakfast as my friends were buying me a bday breakfast. His son works there (I assume in the kitchen since he had a hair net) who is a blonde curly haired child who just screams in your face if the server mistakenly bring something back to the kitchen because the table didnt order what he brought out. We ordered our food and the new server mumbled the food as he brought it out and it didn't sound like something our tables ordered so we kindly told the other boy we did not order this and he brought it back to the kitchen. Also to note, not every single menu item has a photo on their menu which is to be expected, but Atleast say the correct name of the plate you're bringing or bring the paper you wrote down our order with. Next comes out the screaming tantrum throwing child who is only directing his anger at me thinking I took everyone's fucking order at the table. This place had absolutely no customer service and the owner did nothing and apologized for nothing as well. I will never come back here and I will recommend everyone to STAY FAR AWAY from this place. The food here is also disgusting, my children and I absolutely hated our crepes and I'm pretty sure the rest of our table hated their food as well. I ordered a crepe with Nutella, but where's the Nutella? Maybe the owners kid should study the menu more instead of getting in customers faces about food, just a thought! thanks for reading my rant

Yelp
Love the food, service, and the carrot cake is to die for. You won't regret coming here.

Yelp
Ham cheese and tomato omelette was fantastic! We come here every time we come for vacation and never disappointed. Love how friendly they are and if you're lucky he will even perform for you.

Gwenyth U.

Yelp
Great food and so happy with the generous variety of gluten free choices! Enjoyed wonderful cherry cheese crepes.

Melody B.

Yelp
Wonderful food from the heart and soul of this family centered business! Pierogies (veal our fave) AMAZING , desserts like grandma made....feels like going home!

Matthew B.

Yelp
When pulling into the breakfast cafe for parking we were greeted by the owner of the Around the World Cafe that is directly next to the breakfast cafe. He first approached us and told us the restraunt was behind us. When we politely told him we were going to the other restaurant just next door he got extremely aggressive. Told me and grandmother to go F ourselves and flipped the bird. I assume he walks over to the bike shop because he knows I am recording at this point and wants to make it seem like he is not apart of the around the world cafe.

Yelp
Buckle up people, this review is pretty long. Going back from their earlier reviews, it seems that they have improved some things that people gave them low stars for. For me, I enjoyed this cute little family owned cafe. There are a lot of knickknacks on the shelves you could buy as little souvenirs, but it also adds to the shop decor and the menu has a wide variety to choose from. For the food, I thought it tasted good. We sipped on yummy vanilla lattes while we waited for the rest of our order. My husband and I split the egg breakfast and #2 crepe. The egg breakfast came with scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes. I really enjoyed the thin and crispy bacon. The #2 crepe had Nutella, strawberries, bananas, and whipped cream stuffed in it. It was 2 crepes on one plate, so there was a good bit to eat if you only ordered that as your meal. We were stuffed at the end of our meal! Our service was pretty solid until it got busier, but not bad to where we had to wait ages for our stuff or were missing a lot. We had, what I'm assuming, the oldest son as our server. He was very nice and got us our first latte and water right away then took our order. As more people came in, you could tell he was getting flustered and tables were missing very minor things like sauces and sometimes it would take a minute for a refill. The youngest son came out to help serve and also had wonderful customer service, making sure his tables were taken care of properly, and was so kind to a little boy he was serving making sure he enjoyed his hot chocolate. Very sweet moment. THE ONLY REASON why I would have taken a star away is for the dad. Now he wasn't a tyrant or rude, but as it got busier he clearly got frustrated and you could hear him huff and puff as he would go back to the counter, which I'm sure made his sons more tense as they were serving everyone. He would then go to the corner to play his guitar, which sounded nice, but I was puzzled as to why he would do that when the place was pretty busy and he could have checked in on tables. As he was ringing us up, he called it back to my husband and said 3 lattes instead of 2. My husband corrected him and the dad proceeded to bark at his son for getting the order wrong. We almost ended up paying for it because it was such a minor mistake that we didn't want the son to get in trouble. Overall, I think we will be back again!

Yelp
I had the 'California' omelette & it was amazing! My drink was a delicious, cold, ice tea, with a hint of mint! Mmmmm My husband had the egg breakfast w/eggs, potatoes, & a large dinner sized sausage. He really enjoyed his breakfast too! Oh, & a basket of delicious bread, from their bakery vs. toast accompanied our meal. Next time we're in town we'll definitely come back!

Yelp
Atmosphere warm and homey, owner and family warm and desire to meet guest's needs. Very impressive classical guitar - lifted my spirits today! Food delicious - recommend a visit

R C.

Yelp
Too expensive, average meal with a high price tag. 2 coffees, one oatmeal, one bagel = $33. I originally thought that such a high price included the gratuity, however when the head guy not-so-subtly confronted me with "if everything was ok" (because I only dropped a few bucks into their tip jar) I realized they were looking to squeeze more $$. No thank you!! Very poor value for too many dollars spent and I will not be returning. There is however, another cafe two doors to the east called Beachside Cafe that I plan on trying since the prices are more in line with reality.

Yelp
Love this place. Almost every time I come to Melbourne Beach this is my go to spot for Breakfast or Brunch. All the food and baked goods are freshly homemade. This family owned restaurant makes you feel like you're right at home. Hours are 8am to 4pm and Closed on Monday's. They also play live music sometimes. Nice place to sit outside either out front or out back. Parking is behind the building. You can enter thru the back or front of building. They have Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free items. Their crepe menu is insane! So many to choose from either sweet or savory and they are super delicious. They have a variety of Omelette recipes. One of my favorites is the California Omelette. The Polish sausage is really good. They also have a variety of Salads, Soups, Grape leaves, Pierogies, Eggplant, German style cabbage, and so much more! One visit will definitely not be enough. They also have Mimosas and Wine. Their Pear Mimosa is super light and mystically delicious! Enjoy!

Collette H.

Yelp
Dessert Deluxe Crape. Best Crepe I have ever had! The service was excellent and ambiance was wonderful!!!

Yelp
The owners are fantastic and truly care about their customers. The omelet I had was delish.

Yelp
This is one of my most favorite and unexpected finds in my whole 8 years of living in Florida! This is a family-owned cafe serving breakfast and lunch all day. There is outside dining which makes this wonderful cafe, with great food, even better. However, the real intimacy is on the inside. When the owner has time, he creates and weaves a romantic musical web with his acoustic guitar and voice.

Bill C.

Yelp
Outstanding European cuisine. Everything is made from fresh ingredients. Wonderful bakery, too. Top notch, warm, staff & service.
google avatar

Andie B.

Yelp
Where do I start ? The food is excellent, with a large and varied menu. The family who own and work in the cafe are so welcoming . The 14 year old son is a sweetheart! Dad's guitars playing is really enjoyable.
google avatar

Imogen K.

Yelp
Service quality is great. Food was amazing but it's super filling! Joanns crepe was amazing. Sean's was great but should be served a little hotter.
google avatar

Shannon S.

Yelp
We can't say enough about how AMAZING and FRESH this food it's!!! For us to not have to dress our food up with hot sauce or ketchup, says a lot!! You can actually taste all the fresh ingredients. My husband and I both got the California Omelet. The staff is super friendly and it was so great to see how the son(only 12) working so hard to help with the business!
google avatar

Tammy B.

Yelp
We happened upon the quaint little restaurant. Excellent food and service. We forgot to take pics of our food and frothy coffees. But we had the California Omelet and the Greek Omelet and both were delicious The owner is Greek but grew up in Ukraine. They had a poster posted if you wanted to donate to help their family members and friends still in Ukraine. We couldn't have chosen a better restaurant to support.

Tina W.

Yelp
Amazing food! Wonderful family owned business!! Cappuccino was wonderful! Hard to find one that compares to Italy! Crepes and omelets wonderful!

Meredith B.

Yelp
Between live guitar serenades, fresh pastries, omelettes, crepes (and more) using only the finest ingredients, it's always a pleasure to dine here.
google avatar

Christine H.

Yelp
Love this place ! Great coffee! Many yummy pastries ! Organic eggs and lots to choose from !!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stopped by this place when we visited Melbourne and absolutely loved it. We were here for a week and came for breakfast every day. It is a multi-generation cafe where you see the whole family working on weekends. If you're lucky enough, you'll see Igor, the owner, play the guitar. His kids work there on weekends and they're excellent waiters. The prices are a little high but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend you stop by this place if you're in the area. You won't regret it.
