Arrels by Marga Coll

Great setting. Well trained staff but in our case they did not have their night and made quite some mistakes. There was an issue behind the scenes but once resolved the pace was good again. Food was very good and all local. Water is a bit too expensive at EUR 8 per small bottle. You easily drink 3 of them.

The food and service are incredible! I have to say I normally dislike places with a set menu as it ends up being too lengthy with small portions and lots of „foam” on the plate but this place is different and really worth visiting! The dishes have a proper texture and substance and combined some traditional Mallorca flavours. Service is wonderful! The atmosphere could be a bit warmer but maybe it’s because we went there off season and was rather empty.

This is a lovely restaraunt situated in the Hotel Melia Mar of Illetas Mallorca. The menu is a tasting menu changing each week based on seasonal availability of vegetables etc. A little pricey for some maybe nearly 80 euros per person fixed menu of 7 courses. Food was fantastic in our opinion, and we had avery njoyable evening overlooking the waters of the cala next door.

All I can say is wow! Mario the Manager took the time to explain every bit of this special dining experience and make sure we had the best experience possible. Chef Marga Coll crafted such a special menu. Elizabeth our server was so friendly and helpful.

Good food, but not excellent. Setting and service were really good, but I expected a bit more from the taste of the dishes. The pumpkin soup was good, the salad and the monkfish rather „boring“. Same as almost all courses and dishes, the starters and mains could have benefited from a bit more pepper, salt, and spices. It was decorated quite beautiful and the service/ staff was very nice. The price for the 5-course menu itself (56 EUR pp.) was fair, however the Drinks were expensive (Espresso 4.50 EUR).

This was the best restaurant that I have been to in a while. The service was fantastic and the food was absolutely excellent. The Chef goes to the local market every day and sets the menu. It was an absolutely phenomenal experience. I’m so thankful. My husband and I were so impressed and highly recommend this restaurant.

It was a beautiful restaurant with a nice view. The service was amazing so was the food too. The chef Marga Coll was here to present to us the first dish, she was very nice. In bonus, the menu is not expensive at all. I recommand the restaurant. We booked before coming.

The setting is great, service is kind and partially professional, food was not up to the required level. While the quality is great, there are important mistakes, that should not be made with such a rating. I think this restaurant might lose its michelin star soon.
