"Founded by Kix Brooks of Brooks & Dunn fame, picturesque Arrington Vineyards is located 25 minutes by car south of Nashville among the beautiful hills of Arrington, Tennessee, a beautiful place to catch some live music. Arrington grows some of its own fruit for making a wide variety of wines, from sparkling rosés to cabernet sauvignons and even a peach wine. Buy snacks like cheese, crackers, sausage, and olives anytime and more substantial food from Simply Living Life and rotating food trucks on weekends. Visitors can also bring their own picnic." - Kellie Walton, Delia Jo Ramsey

Amazing place to come with large groups, small gatherings of friends, or a cute picnic for two. There's stunning views of the vineyards and the rolling hills that surround it. The wine flights were great and they also offer private tastings led by the staff. There's a large hillside with picnic benches scattered across for tons of seating options. There's also a wooded area with string lights all over for a more private vibe. You could spend hours here or just a quick stop for a glass wine and continue with your evening.

The grounds were very pretty! We especially loved the tree covered area with the wine barrels. Would have preferred the wine served in a glass instead of plastic, but that’s not a deal breaker. We got the wine flight and the peach frozé and both were very good! We were there Friday around noon and it was still very open with lots of available seating. The wildlife was also very friendly!

Great facilities! The open and green areas are fantastic! The one with the trees and lighting it’s pretty amazing. The tasting are super organized and clean, all the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, the wine selection it’s solid and taste for young wines are ok. Highly recommended for a group or couples because it’s very big and open spaces with incredible views. Make sure you are prepared for walked and depend of the year must bring warm cloth

Rolling meadows, splendid sunset views, vineyards and great Wine. A great place for events, picnic with family or friends or just a simple evening taking in the place over a bottle of wine. Would suggest to choose a bright day with sunny skies and towards sunset

Very nice establishment. Reasonable priced wines. Beautiful landscaping with plenty of seating. Music was nice and bathroom had a/c!

We had a great time with friends enjoying the beautiful rolling hills overlooking the valley as the sun was setting. It’s a great spot for a romantic meal or a hang with good friends.

Google
Great place for picnics, families, nature and music lovers! Oh....and some local wine! And they're not pushy at all: free parking, free entry. You can bring your own food or choose from some decent food trucks. Picnic tables and lots of hillside lawn available. We bought a bottle of their red to share at the table. Very nice setup!

Google
I love this place! Such a great spot to pack a picnic and enjoy a nice day outside! They also offer wine drinks and snack plates for purchase, as well as a restaurant!

Yelp
The property here is immaculate. Absolutely breathtaking views. They have a wine tasting room and we had Cyrus (aka Cecil) do our tasting. He was amazing. Not only was he knowledgeable was he was so much fun. We enjoyed our time with him. The wines were yummy. At the tasting we were given a welcome glass of wine to kick off the 45 minute tasting. My only negative comment about the tasting was that I wish I could pick the 5 wines I got to taste. You have to pick from a preselected list. If you're in the area, you must stop. Make a reservation online prior to arrival.

Yelp
After a day of driving and sightseeing, why not visit a winery and enjoy a bottle of wine in the sprawling fields of Arrington Vineyards. They serve flights or bottles as well as a variety of snacks. Set in a beautiful setting, this is such a special place. When they don't have live jazz or bluegrass music, they play some really good country music. Nice selection of wines and if you join their wine club, you will receive a discount. Check their website for hours and entertainment schedule.

Yelp
Read Before Booking a Bachelorette Event My experience with the booking team was a bit rocky. I got COVID during the communication phase, and by the time I recovered, they were incredibly slow to respond. Calling wasn't any better--it was nearly impossible to get someone on the phone. I had to practically beg customer service to have them reach out. Planning a bachelorette party is already stressful, and dealing with Arrington only added to it. There are plenty of other wineries in the Nashville area, so I recommend doing your research. That said, once we arrived (a little late), the experience itself was great. The property is beautiful, and the staff hosting the wine tasting were incredibly sweet. The wine sales staff were also super helpful and friendly. If it weren't for the booking issues, I would have easily given 5 stars.

Yelp
Came here after 4 nights in Nashville, and wanted to spend a night in Franklin. I want this to come across in the right light, but we were surprised to find quality wines in the middle of Tennessee. You just don't think of TN as a 'wine state'. Wife and I ordered two flights, one red one white. Perhaps a bit pricey at $16 each. The property is absolutely beautiful, and I can imagine an amazing time in Spring or Fall. The issue is we went end of June, and they have no AC. So we sat on one of the decks, in 95 degree weather at 4 pm, sipping red wine. Wasn't ideal. Oh well....glad we stopped in!

Annette M.

Yelp
We spent a lovey spring evening sharing a bottle of wine and enjoying the scenery here at this beautiful vineyard. You can purchase a flight if you want to taste a variety. They also sell some food items. On weekends they have jazz and bluegrass music live. It is impeccably clean and staff were easy going and friendly.

Yelp
Gorgeous place and good wine. I came here as I have seen a few signs a few times as I traveled by. I took a wrong turn and decided that it was a sign that I need to stop here! The grounds are huge and absolutely gorgeous and the wines were all quite delicious! This would be an awesome place to hold a private event or just come chill out with the family. There's lots of place for kids to run around and there's also a stage. I would love to see some live music here!

Tina C.

Yelp
A gorgeous vineyard about 30-40 min outside of Nashville! Lots of open space to frolic and picnic (outside food allowed, no outside drinks). There are usually food stands or food trucks as well, which tend to be overpriced but tasty. The frosés are good too. The live music is awesome! Be sure to roam around, because there are so many different areas to this vineyard that aren't immediately apparent upon entering.

Jessica D.

Yelp
Brought my mom here for her birthday while visiting from out of town. The place is beautiful. Employees are super helpful, gave us recommendations. We brought our own snacks and both got a flight and the wine was amazing. Definitely a cute place to hang out and picnic!

La Juania M.

Yelp
This place has a great view!! They have plenty of parking and the option to take a golf cart up to the top or you can walk. They have different places you can do tastings but I believe one you need reservations for. They have live music with plenty of room for you to bring your own chairs and food. Good vibe and decent wine.

Candice S.

Yelp
Lovely winery on the outskirts of Franklin. Beware of the hill to climb from the parking lot to the venue. Wear flat shoes and if needed request assistance from a staff member. They will gladly give you a lift in the golf cart. Many wine tasting options available including a delicious frose! Food was also good with several selections to choose from. Don't be shy about bringing a blanket and chairs to enjoy the grounds.

Pat M.

Yelp
On a free day in Tennessee, my wife and I were looking for something relaxing. What could be better than finding a winery? Thanks to Yelp, we found the Arrington Vineyards less than a half hour from Franklin. On a Wednesday afternoon, the place was pretty quiet. We ordered a tasting flight and searched for a shady spot. Lucky for us there's a tasting room with an outside deck. It was a nice, quiet spot where we could enjoy the wine and chill. Before we left, we stopped back to get a souvenir t shirt and frozen wine drinks. Mine was a peach "froze" and my wife's was a seasonal rose. Great on a hot day! I can picture this place being crowded on weekends with live music. A fun spot!

Maria G.

Yelp
Beautiful place to explore and spend time with friends, family, or your significant other. We started off our visit with a wine tasting. We were a group of four and decided to pick different menus to taste. I had the semi-sweet and the others had the sweet and mixed menus. We're not big on wine, but was surprised by how much we enjoyed the flavors. We took the honeysuckle home for some more savoring. Our bartender through the whole experience was super sweet and personable. After we walked around a bit inebriated and explored the acres. We had some frozen frose to accompany us. My partner got the peach and I got the grapefruit. They were both delicious. Our bartender gave us a tip to mix the frose in our wine. She is an absolute genius for this tip and I recommend this tip to all! Overall, we had an amazing time here on a Sunday afternoon. We will certainly be back!

Wendy K.

Yelp
Loved this spot. It's definitely a destination and a must go when in the area. We bought a bottle of bubbly, sat on the porch and enjoyed the beautiful view. Definitely worth the trip and will return when I'm back in town.

Jen P.

Yelp
We were in Nashville for the long New Year's Eve weekend and one of the girls found this place--it was lovely! A nice getaway from the city for an afternoon--we especially lucked out that there was gorgeous weather, so sitting outside at a park table overlooking the grounds with a glass (or two) made for a perfect afternoon. We also did a wine tasting that we signed up for in advance--it was fun to be able to choose our tastings based on our preferences...and add in a few more. The wine was fine--a few were better than others, but that's always based on taste. The young lady that led our tasting was knowledgeable, patienct, and personable. Definitely recommend if you're looking to do something outside of the city--especially when the weather is nice.

Madison M.

Yelp
Great wine at an affordable price. We shared a bottle of the antebellum red and it was so delicious! Employees also had a shuttle service taking by folks from their car to the tasting room and back since it's a bit of a walk. I've also had their sparkling wine and it's a nice, dry wine. If I weren't just visiting, I'd probably bring a few bottles back with me!

Mari B.

Yelp
Finally visited Arrington and it's really fun! There's something for everyone! Plenty of parking when we went and the property is huge. They have Golf Car Drivers to take you around if needed. We did their Bar Tasting Experience, which you need to reserve online (with a deposit) and it was fantastic! You get 6 2oz pours over 45 mins in an indoor area. You're walked through the wines and our host, Oda was knowledgeable and fun! The place itself has several food options (including food trucks on weekends), places to buy wine bottles (they don't sell by the glass) and different types of areas to sit. We only saw one side of this place which had live music. The other area with the barn also had music! Great space for a girls night, date or family fun!

Bethany S.

Yelp
Wine flights and build your own charcuteries boards, what more is there to say! They have an excellent selection of wines with an equally impressive selection of snacks. The space is huge with nice views of the countryside. We were a little late for the live music, but I'm sure that makes the experience even better. Great service, very quick and helpful. Definitely a spot to add to your to-visit list if it's not already on there

Stephanie C.

Yelp
this place is AMAZING! beautiful views, lovely atmosphere! they have a lot of different wine to choose from -- reds, white, sweet or semi-sweet.. we did the flight of wine which is 4 kinds of wine, 2oz each sample.. you can bring your own picnic food and stuff, just not wine that's not from them.. plenty of picnic tables to enjoy the view.. we went on a tuesday, so they were not so busy.. they have live music on weekends! if you have a big group, you can choose to do a private tasting

Maya P.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate my birthday and we had an amazing time. I love that there is so much open space and the wines are good. They have a nice variety as well as bites to choose from. The staff is friendly and helpful and I appreciate that you can taste wines before you purchase a glass or bottle.

Priscilla L.

Yelp
Decent wine. The bubbly and sweet selection is great for beginners. Bringing your own food and sitting at the picnic tables or the grass is probably the best option. Also, don't do the wine tasting experience if you're a person or color.... My boyfriend and I did it and we were ignored almost the entire time. Probably won't be back but hey give it a try yourself!

Lora M.

Yelp
My husband and I were visiting Nashville and I was recommended to come here from a fb group and I'm so glad! The view and the grounds were absolutely stunning. It was a hot summer day but there was lots of shade and indoor options. We had booked a wine and food pairing experience during our visit. The menu was so perfect for summer - nice and light / citrusy. All the wine paired so well. We really liked all of the wine we tried but I didn't find it so special that I needed to bring it home. We also got a good explanation of the wine making process and history of the vineyard - I appreciated this touch since this will most likely be our only visit. My one complaint would be the timing between courses for this particular pairing. It felt a little slow between the courses where glasses could have been refilled or just timed better with the next course. I also think they could have the golf carts timed better... there's quite a hike from the parking lot to the food pairing location. Luckily we were capable of walking because we waited for a while and didn't catch a golf cart. Minor complaints overall. I would come back in a heartbeat if we're in the area again.

Holly T.

Yelp
Always fun to meet your friends here and drink delicious wine while catching up. As locals we like coming mid week to assure getting a table up on the balcony. We aren't wine club members anymore but still like to support AV.

Jenna M.

Yelp
This place is beautiful. Make the trip out here if you are in Nashville. The staff are all super friendly. The only reason I am docking one star and I'm not sure it's even a super fair reason but I didn't love many of the wines. Out of my taste tester of 4 I only really liked one. Now, that could be personal preference. So come try for yourself! Honestly, even if you don't drink alcohol this is still a beautiful place to visit so don't pass it up. I even saw a few families with little ones and there is plenty of space for them to run around.

Ashley L.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite wineries! Free parking, BEAUTIFUL grounds, and great prices on wine, food trucks, and small bites. Our first time visiting we were offered a golf cart shuttle from the parking lot to the top of the hill. Once the driver learned we were new to the area and it was our first time here, he gave us a full tour of the grounds, telling us all the history of the winery, property, and how it became the great winery it is today. I recommend you check out their website for special events. We specifically love going on the weekends where you can sit at a picnic table with a bottle or two of wine and listen to great live bands. The perfect environment to just relax, try new wines, and unwind.

Bill C.

Yelp
A wonderful, park-like, winery for families to visit and enjoy music. The wine and staff are topnotch as is the setting. Highly recommended for those who like french style picnics in the beautiful rolling hills of the Arrington Winery.

Katherine S.

Yelp
A must visit! I absolutely love wineries and was pleasantly surprised when I saw there was one about 30 minutes from Nashville. We were a group of 5 and were able to make a tasting reservation on site. Luckily we were the only group for that time slot and had a more personal experience. The staff was so friendly and happily answered all of our questions. After the tasting, we purchased some bottles as well as charcuterie items to enjoy out on the field. I recommend the Antebellum red! We spent around two hours total and had a great time.

Jesika K.

Yelp
This is such a cute spot. I would definitely plan for a picnic and bottle purchase! So much room outdoors to sit and great staff.

Phet S.

Yelp
First time visiting Vineyard, This's the closest winery near Nashville, this place is amazing. We visited this place on Easter Sunday and they were packed but no worry they have plenty of free parking space and a huge picnic area with tables for everyone to enjoy. There're stores where you can get some cheese and snacks if you don't want to carry stuffs from home. One rule: No outside alcohol Great spot to hang out with friends and family, cheer

Jess B.

Yelp
Great service, great wine, great views! My husband and I visited and each bought a $15 wine flight, well worth the price as all 4 wines were delicious. What made it even better was the amazing views outside... that alone was worth the trip!

Cara E.

Yelp
I am a huge fan of Arrington Vineyards! They have such a beautiful property. There are many different areas to hang out and enjoy the beautiful views and weather. You can order a flight, or glasses of wine, or a bottle. Everything that I have ever tried there is delicious, and the service is always great. During the warmer seasons, they have live music, which is so fun to enjoy. They also have food trucks on Fridays during the warmer months too. If you like sweet wine, don't skip out on their dessert wines because they are so good! My two favorites are the raspberry and the blackberry ones. And a pro tip is to bring a picnic with you because it is such a romantic picnic spot! You have to visit Arrington if you like wine and enjoy being outside!

Lacee F.

Yelp
Traveled here on a Thursday (during the day) and loved the atmosphere. The gift shop/retail barn had a wide selection of wine to pick from. Enjoyed the tasting flight (one per person so pick wisely!) and the rosé slushee. Cheese trays and crackers were available but didn't purchase this time. Staff was attentive and helpful when purchasing wine. Beautiful views and loved the shaded outdoor area! Looking forward to attending again for their summer events. Would highly recommend traveling to this gem if near Nashville. Parking available onsite.

Daw M.

Yelp
Parking: lower lot by the entrance where you have to walk up an incline to get to your destination or take your chance and come early for a spot up the hill. Service: you can order one flight to try. Red, white, bubbles or mix. You order at the cash register. Friendly, but not helpful or knowledgeable about the wine. Wine: I chose the red flight and none of the wine were my type of wine. To me, it lacks structure and depth with just a one tone flavor. Just not my type of wine. Price? Very affordable so I'm not complaining. Views: beautiful picnic area. Come with friends for a cheap wine date and the beautiful views. Thanks!

Jasmine A.

Yelp
I had reservations for the bar tasting for me and my partner. Listen, you will have to climb a pretty steep hill, so give yourself some time! I'm not in shape so I should've gave myself more time! It was worth the workout. The hostess was so darn nice! We had a pleasant time with our wine servers. I've been to several wine tastings, and I will say our servers were a bit robotic. It's wine tasting--let's have some laughs. I'm no expert, so I'm the one holding the glass wrong, smelling it, swigging in my mouth, and guzzling it down ‍ The wines were good with varied flavors that were deep and penetrating to mild, fruity, happy flavors. All vineyards are different, so no point in me comparing. The atmosphere on the lawn seemed delightful. The band in the tent was great. I was surprised with the amount of children there, but they seemed to enjoy it. I thought it was great that it's opened year round. So bring a blanket and some lawn chairs and enjoy a picnic on a chill evening while it's not freezing :)

Heidy M.

Yelp
Absolutely a must stop! This vineyard is an easy drive from Nashville and I highly recommend bringing a lunch and to purchase wine when you arrive. They do have food for purchase on the weekends, live music and plenty of cheese, dips and crackers available. Paper plates and napkins along with plenty of souvenirs to purchase. The parking lot has plenty of parking, there are many picnic tables with absolutely gorgeous vineyard views, clean restrooms and all the employees were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful start to our day here and enjoyed the wine we purchased while sitting outside listening to country music. Enjoy!

Jill W.

Yelp
Beautiful grounds with lots of outdoor seating. Wines are decent. Flights are pre-selected with no substitutions. However, you can add on additional tastings for a small fee. Snack items available. Live music.

Terri F.

Yelp
My husband and I were visiting from Washington State and had a recommendation to try this winery. The tastings were $40. We made a reservation and paid a $20 deposit. We arrived at the vineyard five minutes late. The facility is fairly large. Parking was at the bottom of a large, steep driveway. There was apparently a shuttle. It passed us going down as we were walking up. There were several buildings, a saloon, a pavilion where signs indicated wine flights were purchased. We stopped there first, asked if we were in the right location. We were directed to the building next door, up two additional flights of steps. We finally arrive at 2:41 and were told they have a 10 minute grace period. We missed it by one minute and were turned away. Unbelievable. We visit many high-end wineries in California, Oregon and Washington and have never experienced such arrogance.

Ella C.

Yelp
Been here 4 times now and each time is just as perfect as the last. It's such a relaxing, beautiful escape from the city center. The wine is excellent, with different varieties to try and the staff is always ultra friendly.

Natalie S.

Yelp
When I go into a winery to taste, it would be nice to select the specific things in which I'm interested. I only was interested in tasting one wine and had to purchase an entire flight to be able to get the one that I wanted. A waste of wine, a waste of money, a waste of time. Rules like that make me not want to return more than anything. The wine I initially was interested in was good. But I don't know if I will ever return because of the silly flight policy.

Cassadee H.

Yelp
This place is one to remember. For $15 you can do a wine flight and sample/learn about the different wines you're trying. My boyfriend and I fell in love with this place the second we walked up. You're able to bring your own food and have a little picnic with the tables provided in their lawn. We loved all the wine we tasted and ending up buying two bottles "Red Fox Red" and their "Sav Blanc".

Camille F.

Yelp
Arrington Vineyards was an easy stop. We played this one by ear and decided against doing the guided tour/tasting. Things were a lot more fun that way! After we made our wine and snack tray purchases, we enjoyed some sunshine and banjo playing which you can expect so close to Nashville. I did hear that was jazz on the otherside but I believe we missed it. There's alot of seaitng and tables around the property where you can set up. We actully rode the golf carts around the place too when we lucked up and found somebody nice enough to carry us around the property! We did have one encounter with a person that wasn't too friendly but everyone else who worked there overshadowed that moment and quickly rectified it so our experience was grade A. Would I go back? Yes, but in the cooler months!

Susan J.

Yelp
A lovely Southern winery on a hillside outside Nashville ! The wines were good - we tried the Kenzie Reserve (Pinot Grigio) and the Rose, both were wonderful and cold on a hot afternoon. They have small plates and some snack food, sodas and waters also served alongside great live music. Parking was handled well, local police presence keeps you from taking open containers or glasses off the property. Will definitely return here !!

Alison N.

Yelp
Wonderful outdoor winery! Several different outdoor spots to sit and listen to live music. They also offer wine and food pairings that you register for in advance. We did this and it was so fun. You basically got 5 glasses of wine with your food tastings. I also loved the wine slushes- the seasonal one was an apple cider wine slush and it was very good! Lovely property and wonderful service. Highly recommend!

Banner O.

Yelp
15$ dollar flight. Can't beat that price for such quality wine. Plenty of options for all types of wine to try. Only one flight per customer then you will have to buy a bottle. Great views and live music. Good vibes and great for the whole family.

Sarah K.

Yelp
One of my favorite places!! I've been multiple times with both warm and cold weather. When it's warm, so fun to bring your own food and make a yummy cheese board. When it's cold, sit on the porch with the windows covered and bring some easy sandwiches. Great for kids when it's warm. The Antebellum wine is my favorite but really, all the wine goes down easy!!

Adrienne C.

Yelp
Arrington is a favorite for my family. The ambiance is perfect. There are always delicious food trucks and great music. Do not leave without trying a Frose. Any flavor is delicious! Wine is good. I like both the red and white Antebellum bottles. Plenty of space to relax and kids to run around and entertain themselves. Perfect for your family!

Kirsten N.

Yelp
Went here for the live music and stayed for several hours! Can be a bit sunny but the view is great. Can bring your own snacks!

A D.

Yelp
Great space for a family outing, really friendly staff (super helpful) and easy to drink wine!

Tiffany T.

Yelp
Great place to visit. They have a great set up and the staff is very friendly. The grounds are clean and well kept. There are two areas one the big red barn that has its own food and stage for music. The second is the main it also has its own stage. The food trucks did not disappoint. The reason for my 4 stars is it's not a typical tell you about there wine tasting place you have to order and go sit. You also can not get a glass of wine which we felt like was odd. You can do wine flight or buy a bottle. We would return wine was good.

victoria a.

Yelp
Overall good bang for your buck but...it was a little strange at time with staff being extremely over bearing with ID's and treating us a like we weren't good enough to be there. It seems like a great experience for older adults, but as a young adult I felt like we were getting "Pretty Woman-ed". After a dispute over my 21 year old friends ID we were told by the Manager to head into our 1:00pm tasting at 12:59 pm. When we went to open the door an employee grabbed the handle and said rudely "Do you have a appointment?" and were told to wait again. The walk up from the parking lot was extremely elevated and we saw groups pass with golf carts...which we were never offered. Even though we were visibly struggling and sweating like a pig walking up lol! It was a great experience on a personal level because me and my friends always have fun but would not recommend for younger groups!
