Good friends invited us here for an authentic Italian meal. The casual atmosphere was perfect for the occasion and our server, Julio, was friendly, attentive and answered all our questions about the menu. Nice wine list with good value Chianti options. I ordered the Linguine Mediterrano and my wife had the Ravioli de Giorno and both dishes were excellent. Parking can get tricky but we arrived at 6:15 pm and many spots were available. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Google
Without a doubt the best Italian Restaurant I've ever been to. Came here with a group of friends and tried a lot of different foods. All of it was amazing and unique. The pasta was out of this world. Staff are so friendly and down to earth. I like that it's small and it has a nice ambience. Will be coming here as often as Im able. 11 out of 10 rating.

Solid neighborhood Italian restaurant. I really liked their red sauce pasta, it was so good. Tiramisu also excellent. Good cheap wine too.

This place is delicious, me and my wife would go together every weekend when we were dating. The food is good, its relatively quiet most days. I've recommended this spot to my family and they all like it too. I used to live in Italy and make some pretty damn good pasta too. But this place 10/10 would go here for a meal when I feel like not cooking and want something on the same level of what I would make.

Google
Overall great experience. Service was exceptional, our server was very personable and handled some inconvenience with finesse. The eggplant appetizer and minestrone in particular were standouts; the entrees didn't live up to quite the same standard, but were still delicious. Appreciated the patio area and being allowed to have a dog, though it was a little cold/windy as the evening went on (obviously the restaurant doesn't control the weather! But bring a jacket if sitting outside).

A group of 7 went for a birthday dinner on a Friday evening. We were seated quickly and our waiter took very good care of us. The food is always very flavorful and fresh. The portions are huge and the prices are reasonable too. Highly recommended!

Yelp
a very solid italian place in san diego! i went with a large group and they gave us a separate private room which is their wine bar. it was nice that we got our own space! the food was really good especially for the price! i ordered 3 appetizers and the only one i would get again is the eggplant. i really enjoyed the bread and also my entree, the pink sauce bowtie pasta with salmon! i also tried some friend's dishes (rigatoni, veal, and gnocchi) and they were pretty good as well! i'm not sure how authentic this is, but i would definitely come back here if i'm craving italian. the service was also really good - our server was very funny and friendly!

Yelp
Really tasty food! Service was great. The man helping us returned every few minutes to check in with us, refill our waters, and keep us stocked on bread. We came around 1 on a weekday, but it wasn't crowded. Space is a bit small so you have to squeeze through tables and stuff to get around and if you need to use the restroom. Calamari Caruso: We wanted some calamari but wanted to eat something lighter for an appetizer, so we opted for the unfried option. The tomato sauce was balanced yet flavorful, and the dish as a whole was really satisfying! Pasta #8 (Black linguine w/ salmon, asparagus, and mussels in saffron cream sauce): Very generous with the seafood. The pasta had an interesting flavor and aftertaste. I tried it first without any cheese, but the dish really needs it. It tasted DIVINE after I added the cheese and some pepper flakes. Gamberi Nostrani: This one was the unexpected star of lunch. It was surprisingly light but still flavorful. Again, not skimpy with seafood at all. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
TL;DR: family-style Italian vibe from the servers to the food - large portions + great value = happy times Came to celebrate a birthday and had reservations so we were seated about 5-10 minutes after our party had fully arrived Note: def make reservations especially if you're trying to be seated around dinner time as the queue builds quickly and there's no real organized system for the waitlist (read: "so who's next?") Good wine selection to pick from and although were missed by the waitstaff for the first 10 minutes after seating, they quickly made up for it with lots of bread and quick wine service Apps: - Burrata (3.5/5): first time having spinach with burrata - the cheese was really fresh and the spinach got us the veggies we needed for the night lol - Caprese (2/5): I understand that the fundamentals of a caprese are tomato, mozzarella, and basil but this was a spartan take on it. Ingredients were fresh but tasted really dry - Artichokes (5/5): wow, this was a great app. Would've gotten 2 for the table had I known about it was going to be this good. The flavor was truly marinated all the way through and the crisp on the outside gave the contrast in flavor the dish needed. Mains: - Cioppino (4.5/5): really fresh seafood and delicious tomato-based broth/soup - would've liked a little spice to the dish but no real complaints here - Black Linguine with salmon (4/5): heads up that the dish is a little fishier than expected. The pasta and cream sauce base were a good combo You've been warned: Portion sizes are large - 4 out of 6 pasta dishes were bagged for leftovers (which were delicious!) Since it was a birthday celebration, we were also surprised by a large slice of tiramisu - good balance of coffee flavor and cake-ish texture We ate so much that we also had to get their espressos and the grappa, as well All in all, a delicious Italian meal and a great bang for your buck - will definitely be back to enjoy more of the menu! Grazie mille, Arrivederci Ristorante!

Yelp
I love this place. It is my favorite restaurant on planet earth! The space is quaint and lovely. You feel like you're visiting old friends as the attention is just perfect -- not over bearing and always there just before you need something. The food is in a complete class by itself. Flavor-city and you'll have some to take home. Every time I'm in San Diego, this is a non-negotiable stop. Pork ossobuco. No words... From the service to the savory flavors, this is a 10 out of 10 every single time! As authentic as you can get and not be in Italy

Yelp
Oh em gee! We had a fantastic meal here. We had a group of six they accommodated quickly on a Saturday night with no reservations. They quickly brought bread and a spicy marinara sauce that was exactly what my hangry self needed. The food came out quickly and was so good!! I personally had the rigatoni and lasagna. We also shared a gnocchi for the table. I will definitely be back for more. Such a great little Italian restaurant.

Yelp
01-11-24 All the below dishes were yummy delicious! The ones with cream sauce were especially finger licking good. My Black Linguine, had it here many times; this time, every bite was fulfilling. The bread and the garlicky marinara sauce was a great starter. Food: 4.5/5 -Calamari & Zucchini Fritti $17.95 -Veal Ossobuco $35.95 -Mezzelune All' Aragosta $22.95 -Panzotti $22.50 -Farfalle Vodka & Salmone $22 -Black Linguine $22.95 Drinks: -Wine $31 Service: Andrea brought everything we asked for, including our complimentary birthday tiramisu. We enjoyed our dining experience here and Andrea's humor. Note: -If you choose to order wine, bring your own and pay the corkage fee, a lot less. -Pay parking lot adjacent to the restaurant or street parking.

Yelp
It has been over four years since my last visit to the classic Italian eatery. I am elated to see that the food, service, and vibe is exactly the same.. Perfect! Once again, this restaurant serves quality classic Italian dishes. I still adore their Capellini Alla Checca,. The pasta is fresh with diced tomatoes and the best red-sauce anywhere. The table bread is delicious. I dip the bread in a saucer of olive oil and balsamic vinegar oil..My go to Malbec wine completes the meal. Arrivederci is my favorite Italian eatery in San Diego! Ciao!

Lynn W.

Yelp
Our family has been dining at Arrivederci for decades and it has consistently provided a high quality of food and dining experience. This is a destination restaurant for us and we travel to San Diego from Orange County several times per year for special occasions so that my dad can savor their osso buco. They have outstanding minestrone soup. The price is great, especially relative to portion size.

Yelp
I absolutely loved this place! The generously portioned pappardelle was heaven on a plate, and the wait staff was kind and knowledgeable. First time having dinner here and will definitely be back for more.

Yelp
This is a tiny little place inside. Much like mama's kitchen/living room with a bunch of tables squeezed in. Which actually gave it a very comforting feeling. The food is absolutely amazing. Fresh tastes. I ordered the chicken (with a tomato mouse ).. and it was the star at the table. Very unique sweet tomato sauce. Almost like a tomato bisque . A must try. I don't think I've ever tasted anything quit like it. We finished our evening with strong cup of cappuccino. Perfect way to end a fabulous dinner.

Yelp
Wowow!!!! I'm currently eating my takeout from Arrivederci so this is a real time review!! I've been craving mushroom risotto for over a month now but I've been too lazy to make it & had a hard time finding it... lo and behold (heh) Arrivederci was right under my nose this whole time! Their menu is awesome and I'm excited to try more things!! I ordered on Yelp and walked over, a super nice man greeted me with a "signorina" and told me it would be ready in a couple of minutes. Got the bag and was shocked by how heavy it was! Raced home and holy cow. The risotto is SO GOOD and has a million mushrooms. I make this often at home so I'm keenly aware of how many are in this and it's gotta be more than 1lb and more than one type??? The flavor is beautiful and there are a ton of different textures somehow. The rice is cooked perfectly. This hit the spot for me beyond belief and I'm so grateful!! They also included a very very large warm roll and it's plain but delicious, just threw some butter on there and I love!! I'll be back soon to enjoy more menu items and maybe take a date here someday because it's very sweet inside! For now I'm gonna pretend I can walk these carbs off :)

Yelp
SO YUMMY! Got the calamari & one of the seafood pastas. My boyfriend got it with red sauce and I opted for white. They were amazing! Calamari was also great. Everything was cooked well, seasoned perfectly. Not pictures was the bread which came out warm! (we ate an entire loaf haha) I'm an east coast girl so I loved the vibe in here. It was cozy and gave authentic family-owned Italian restaurant style to me. Would be a cute vibe for a date night! I will say that service wasn't the best.. We were told it was gonna be a 10-15 minute wait and it ended up being 30-40. They were busy and it was a Saturday night but they may be understaffed given the same workers are also supporting the mini wine bar on the side. You could overhear other tables complaining about it as well. The food came out fast which was a redeeming quality. However, It took asking the waiter a few times for the bill. Aside from that, they were super nice and I had a great time. I'd definitely check this place out if you haven't!

Yelp
It had been quite some time since I'd last visited Arrivederci but I remembered loving the food. That hasn't changed with this visit. We went for a work lunch the other day and were served by Giuseppe, a true Italian who conversed in Italian with one of my coworkers. He was warm and friendly while providing excellent service. I had the lasagna and it practically melted in my mouth. Absolutely amazing. All of my colleagues enjoyed their meals as well. It got quiet once the dishes came which is a good sign that the food is excellent. My Italian coworker is kind of an Italian food snob and she loved everything too. We split some desserts to include Tiramisus, Cannolis, Pistachio something (can't remember the name). All of it was excellent. I'm not going to wait so long before going back for another visit! Highly recommend the food and Giuseppe as a waiter.

Yelp
We went to Arrivederci last evening and as usual the food, service, and atmosphere were perfect. I had the Bowtie pasta with salmon in a creamy vodka sauce. Absolutely delicious. Rich yes, so I accompanied it with the salad which was super fresh and with the perfect amount of dressing. A glass of Meritage was perfect with it. My friend just had the house minestrone soup. A large portion as all the portion are. The staff were super attentive making sure our water glasses and breadbasket were full. Just a wonderful evening.

Yelp
Great ambiance and decor. Nice staff and servers. Their artichokes are to die for. Their wine list and selection is excellent. I ordered veal but the meat tasted much more like ground pork.... My friend ordered a medium filet mignon but it came out rare blue instead of medium. They may be better on a night other than Saturday. It was quite busy.

Yelp
I am giving this restaurant 5 stars with the caveat that there is no charm eating outside unless you count traffic and homeless people as charm. On to the positive. The service is great. The ambiance is laidback. The food is a combination of traditional Italian food and American Italian food. They open at 5 which is the perfect time to eat dinner in HILLCREST to avoid the traffic home. We started with the bacon Brussel sprouts. Delicious and perfectly cooked. We skipped the antipasto course but saw a few around us that looked good. My husband raved about his veal. I had penne in meat sauce with Italian sausage. A good choice. We intended to skip dessert until we saw the Neapolitan. So good, real cream and perfect puff pastry. The price was very reasonable. The one food miss was the bread. It was hot but not your typical crusty loaf. Maybe I should have given 4.5 stars but wouldn't want someone to miss the experience over minutiae.

Yelp
I absolutely love Arrivederci, and often say it's one of our favorite restaurants in SD. Unfortunately, it pains me to write that last night's delivery experience wasn't great, and my sneaking suspicion is "new chef"???? Having eaten Arrivederci dozens of times, one of the things we love about them is their consistency. We order the same two dishes every time, knowing full well what to expect. Sadly, the Pork Ossobuco and the filet dishes were a little off last night. Instantly recognizable on both dishes was the consistency of their sauces. The Ossobuco normally has a deep, dark port wine reduction, however this time the sauce was really light and watery. The same was to be said for the gorgonzola cream sauce with the steak. Normally the gorgonzola is very present, both visually and from a taste perspective; however I could neither see nor taste the gorgy today. What really made this a miss for me though was the fettuccine pasta. I'm not sure what happened but it has the oddest and unpleasant texture; it basically shredded. It wasn't just overcooked, but seemed as though something was really off with the dough. It was so unpleasant that I couldn't finish the dish. I'm not sure what happened tonight, but I'm going to assume it was just an off night . We still love you....

Yelp
Always a favorite! Great service, consistently good food. Warm and inviting atmosphere. Outdoor dining, too.

Yelp
One of the best places I have been for pizza and ITALIAN food. There was one in RANCHO San Diego and when it was open we went at least once a week for years. Not kidding, we went that often. It was great. The one in Hillcrest is just as good. Great service and food. They care. The owner is wonderful. Give a try and you will not be disappointed at all. Go for it, even if you have to drive.

Yelp
I've been going to this rustic Italian restaurant for several years. This is one of those spots that you can go back to time and time again because the food is consistent and the prices are reasonable. This place can get quite crowded during dinner time. I suggest you come early, around 5-530, to avoid the crowd and make reservations. Appetizers: We always order the calamari. Mainly because the amount of food is enough to feed four people or more. The calamari is crisp and not greasy. Main: Linguine Mediterraneo. I love a seafood pasta with a white wine sauce and this one didn't disappoint. The flavors of the seafood infused the wine sauce, which was savory and delicious. Definitely a sauce to dip your bread in. Dessert: Tiramisu. Light as feather and big enough to be shared. Definitely a go to place for delicious rustic Italian food.
google avatar

Yelp
OMG! Totally legit Italian. Excellent service. My wife had the polenta in mushroom sauce & I had the lasagna. All the food was heavenly! A must for Italian food while in San Diego! It is a cozy place but fun & great atmosphere. If you are thinking of going here - don't - just go!

Yelp
Came here for dinner around 6PM on a Sunday night. We got seated in about 5 minutes. Service was above and beyond. Each person who helped us, took our order, and served our food were enthusiastic, respectful, and kind. Restaurant was very clean and rustic themed. Water and bread were served immediately. Ordered two pasta dishes and they accommodated some substitutions. Got a free tiramisu dessert for birthday. Overall very delicious and well-priced food. Clean restaurant. Amazing service. I would definitely come here again!

Yelp
I hate posting negative reviews for stellar restaurants, because if the food were the only thing I'm reviewing here, it would be a 5++++ star. However my email to the company has gone unanswered and I am not one to be disrespected and let it blow over. They make great pasta, the sauce is great and much of their food is authentic. The restaurant itself is a little outdated, but that's the attempt at old world Italian charm, so it's truly not an issue. Small dining space but not overpacked My one issue (seriously 1 person) has been the server I've had the displeasure of being taken care of on 4 separate occasions now, of which 3 occasions were with other people who also noticed how rude he was (specifically to me). His name (or what he told me it was) is Joe. He usually works weekends/ evenings and the only thing he really serves is a poor attitude. I can definitely tell you that he is short with patrons, he has lied (we don't take Apple Card) except when I called him out on it because they do take it, he said "tips won't go through" of which I told him frankly that I was leaving tip with cash and then he agreed to accept it . My most recent encounter was horrible, so at the end of the meal and being totally disregarded, I finally said something to him about his poor attitude to which he then decided to provoke an argument in the dining area in front of patrons (yes, there was yelling and curse words going both ways because I did not back down and most certainly told him where he could shove his ongoing attitude)... however...the fact that it was tolerated (absolutely no supervisor or manager stepped in to tell him to back off) and that I've been a paying patron there (even leaving him excellent tips in history to hopefully get him to curb his attitude), is unacceptable. Any business that tolerates such blatant pompousness really needs to either better supervise employees or kick it to the curb. Maybe it'll humble him to have to find another place of employment. Of the other multiple times I've been here (and their sister pizza restaurant) all other servers have been so kind and helpful. In fact, I'd say that if the menu items were the same at both restaurants, I'd never go back to this one. I will definitely not be adjusting this rating until A. He is canned or B. My email is responded to in a way that is meaningful. Proceed at your own risk, folks. If you get seated with a Joe, kindly ask for a change in table. Good luck!

Yelp
So full Dinner was so good, just what we needed on a rainy night. We ordered a lot of what previous guest seemed to love on here and made some a bit custom: 1. Cheese Ravioli with the cream sauce instead of the mama rosa sauce. (Crowd favorite) 2. Filet Mignon with mushrooms in gorgonzola cream sauce and added fettuccine. 3. Ribeye with bellpeppers and mushrooms in white wine sauce 4. Shrimp and scallops in alfredo sauce, spicy.

Yelp
Amazing food! Excelente staff, cozy and comfortable place! The staff are excellent! I love the filet mignon!

Yelp
Food: 3/5 Service: 2/5 Ambiance: 3/5 We took one of my good friend's here for his birthday since he was craving Italian food. We checked out Yelp to find a spot nearby and saw some great reviews so called in a reservation. NOTE: Calling in a reservation does not mean anything. When we showed up, there was no record of us and they were seating people first come first served anyway (except a party that apparently knew the owner so they were seated ASAP). We waited about 15-20 minutes for our party of 3 to be seated. The restaurant was packed and there was 1 waiter, so it took another 15-20 minutes for them to take our drink order. By then, we already knew what we wanted for appetizers and our meal, so we went ahead and ordered everything at once not knowing when he would come back. We ordered the Brussels Sprouts (3/5), raviolis (2/5), scallops (4/5) and chicken lasagna (2/5). The sauce had a flavor similar to Chef Boyardee, so it wasn't great. We all agreed that we should've gone somewhere else that night.

Yelp
OMG! This place is BOMB! My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner after spending the day in Coronado! Amazing, amazing, amazing! The service was so good, and the food was even better! We will be making this "the place to go to" when we are wanting Italian and are in San Diego!
google avatar

Yelp
Probably best Italian restaurant in town. Their artichoke appetizer is to die for ! Entire menu & quality is amazing
google avatar

Yelp
If anyone is in the mood for Italian, I will always suggest Arrivederci! The food is incredible, and although the portions are decent sized - it was so tasty I kept eating and ended up finishing my meal! The staff is well versed in the menu and are experts at suggesting a wine to pair with your meal. The tables are cozy and close together, but there is plenty of room and it felt comfortable. We will definitely be back the next time we crave braised rib or top notch ravioli.
google avatar

Martin L.

Yelp
Place was cozy and felt like I was going to a relatives house. Menu was pretty extensive. We ordered the gnocchi (3/5); seafood linguine Mediterraneo (4/5); fried calamari (3.5/5); chicken Pappardelle (3.5/5) Solid food. Good service.

Lily M.

Yelp
Geniuely some of the best Italian food I have ever had. My family and I have been going here for over ten years. It has never disappointed. 10/10 Besides the food being insane, the service is always really good too.

Yelp
This restaurant is a family favorite! My parents had their second date hereIt's the best!

Yelp
My sister in law told us about this restaurant since she and her husband have been here in the past. So, of course I came to Yelp to check out the reviews and I must say that the reviews were for the most part were amazing! By the way, some reviewers complained about the parking but I found that to be a non-issue. The lot next door to the restaurant had plenty of open spaces and we were there on a Friday night. The reviewers who spoke about the pork Oso Bucco were right, it was one of the best that I have ever had! The meat was served on a bed of risotto that was amazing but to me the star was the sauce! It was rich and flavorful and loaded with sliced mushrooms. The meat was fall off the bone tender! If you go to this restaurant, please order the pork Oso Bucco you will thank me after you eat it. My wife had the mushroom risotto which was also fabulous! The risotto was cooked to perfection and was loaded with mushrooms. The rich, earthiness of the mushrooms gave this dish a wonderful flavor. Again, a can't miss when you go here. Finally, our waiter Julio was fabulous! He was really overworked with the number of tables that he was serving, but he was friendly and accommodating.
google avatar

Yelp
What a cool restaurant with such a friendly family feel. I'm assuming our server was the owner as he spoke Italian. In a time when restaurants all seem to falling under corporate umbrellas (ie. The Consortium), it's nice to know this long standing independent restaurant exists. I'll be going back. Can't believe it took me this long to discover it. The food was excellent. I ordered an anchovy penne which I should've known would not be to my liking but my son's dish was amazing. The wine fills were generous and they carry a wonderful Montepulciano
google avatar

Yelp
Super delicious food great date night ambience and service the excellent recommend the vodka pasta dish! Ambience is a feel of Italy. Authentic Italian cuisine!
google avatar

Liz H.

Yelp
Waiter is rude. Made me feel embarrassed because I fed my dog a tiny bite off the appetizer plate. Chastised me, saying he couldn't use the plate anymore. Charged me $5 for it. I won't ever come back, nor will I ever recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
I have never realize this place existed in Hillcrest! I love some great Italian place and this is one of them. They offer indoor and outdoor spaces, but I felt that indoor spaces were pretty cramped. Our service was great, and the server we had was very friendly and very informative of the menu. There were so many food choices, so we definitely needed some recommendations. We got some wine and they offered free bread. I have actually order some thing off the menu and they were able to make it for me. Overall, I had a great experience and went home Happy with my full belly.

Yelp
We love this place!!! We bring all of our out of town/country visitors here. No one has been disappointed yet!! Been eating here for years!!

Yelp
Just came from here for valentines dinner. Excellent service and food! The place is a cute spot that I've always seen walking by it but never cared to walk in until a client of mine recommended it. We had reservations for 6 and the staff are all super friendly! Major plus for me! We ordered and the food came out in a timely fashion and they were packed! I had the black squid ink pasta with shrimp! 10/10 I also had the braised short ribs with risotto and man that was creamy as hell. Super good! The house bread is pretty good and comes with some red sauce that has a kick. For appetizers we got the Cesar salad which was really good and the calamari which was delicious and tender with a light batter! Will definitely be back for another dinner date. Definitely recommend. Prices are decent too!

Yelp
The food here is really good. I had the asparagus soup that was delicious. I also had the black noodle pasta with seafood that was excellent. The marinara sauce was so good that I had to get a lasagne to go. The service was also top notch. I will be returning.

Yelp
Me and my boyfriend came here for our four year anniversary and it never disappoints, the spinach gnocchi, took my soul away with its flavor! The chef definitely knows what he's doing! It's been a HIT every time I get it. It was the first place to come to mind for my anniversary.

Yelp
The service and welcoming vibe makes this Italian restaurant extremely endearing. You feel like family and the food is what Italians do best--simple, hearty, and fresh. The atmosphere is cozy too. Also, grab a glass of wine! Great pours here. I had the Linguini Mediterraneo and Capellini Bosco Mare. Huge portions that will fill you up. For the Linguini Mediterraneo, I went with the white wine sauce and was simply delish. The Capellini Bosco Mare had angel hair pasta in a red sauce and shrimp. Between the two, I enjoyed the Linguini more from the texture contrast. It's right in Hillcrest so you can venture out to the gay bars nearby if interested too!
google avatar

Yelp
The best Italian food in San Diego county by far. Great service and easy parking. My wife loves the prima Vera with red sauce and I get the vegetarian pizza. You can sit down inside or enjoy the patio outside. Sometimes we take the dog with us .

Yelp
I haven't been here in a long time but this place never fails me. Great food and ambiance and great service. Came for lunch and so glad I did.

Yelp
Updating my review (Adding a Star)! Great food and fantastic service! Tried the Penne Chicken Arrabbiata (substituted with Angel hair pasta). The chicken breast pieces were very juicy and the sauce was perfectly balanced (between spicy, but not too spicy). The pasta tasted fresh; very large portion. Really enjoyed the fresh bread too, nice crunchy outside and sense but moist inside. Can't speak well enough of the great service; very authentic "family feel". Looking forward to coming back to try something new!

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place early afternoon while walking around in Hillcrest. I saw the striped awning from across the street and thought "Oh, how quaint. I bet the food there is delicious!" It definitely has an unassuming, local, hidden treasure feel. The menu had so many interesting dishes; things I had never heard of. They bring you a basket of warm bread and a marinara dip once you're seated, while you peruse the menu. The service was impeccable. Our server kept our water, glasses, full, was prompt, and very attentive. I went with the Penne Tirreno - a pasta with veggies and topped with sheep cheese. OMG one of the best plates of pasta that I've ever eaten. I had to pace myself because I wanted to savor each bite and have a flavor memory. The sauce was bright and well seasoned, but not overly. The ratio of pasta to vegetable to cheese on top was perfect. I can't wait to go back and try more. The extensive menu has so many creative dishes. This will definitely be my new favorite spot for Italian when I am in San Diego.

Yelp
One of our favorite Italian places! We came to celebrate our Anniversary. We were immediately greeted and seated by a friendly and attentive hostess. We sat outside. The weather was perfect. Not too busy. Our waiter and older gentlemen who has attended us before brought us the fresh, warm bread. He is always so attentive and always making sure we are good. We ordered the Linguine Mediterraneo and Lasagne Del Giorno. The servings were nice portion. Nice and hot. My linguine was so tasty with every bite. One of my favorite dishes here. In the past the amount of seafood in the dish was more so I was disappointed that it was more pasta. Prices have gone up too about 35%. I did enjoy my meal. It was tasty as I remember. I saved half to take home which was mostly pasta. My Husband ordered the lasagna. A very nice portion the sauce was so flavorful and sauce tasted fresh. He also saved half to take home. I forgot to take a picture of our dessert but we had the Strawberry Napolitano. The hostess was kind enough let waiter know it was our anniversary and he brought it out with a candle. It was sweet.

Yelp
Our new favorite Italian restaurant. The salad was the best I've ever had. The penne pasta with eggplant was excellent. Husband had polenta topped with mushrooms and a delicious sauce. He loved it. And the tiramisu was delicious. The waiter was so attentive and Italian.

Yelp
Oh. My. God. This is a must have. Was told about this place through a friend who swore someone snuck their italian grandma in the back to make all this food so good. Service was more than amazing, super sweet and kind staff that loves to have a laugh with you. And the decor is sweet and simple with a lot of love throughout the whole place. Please consider trying this place and supporting them because their food is seriously out of this world crazy good.

Yelp
Didn't mean to come to this restaurant but I'm so happy we did. We parked in front of it and decided to give it a try. I kept seeing photos of the ossobuco and tried it and wow. That has to be the best dish, i even spoke to another customer leaving the restaurant about the food since they ordered the same.
